Guidance To A Better Life
Many of us seek out
those older and wiser than ourselves
for the guidance to a better life.
We seek out the old and wiser
learning from the mistakes they made
so as we travel down the same path
we know which pitfalls to look out for
with guidance to a better life.
We can take less wrong turns
and journey forward in the knowledge
we will not make the mistakes they made.
We know life is never easy
so we seek out the guidance
from who have lived it longer than us,
those older and wiser than ourselves
for the guidance to a better life.
Then one day when we are as old as they,
we can pass on our knowledge to those young
who need guidance to a better life.

Guidance Absence Prudence
“God chooses
God keeps secrets
too many secrets”
far too many
guidance is there any
for life decisions heavy?
We need a little guidance
more faith more patience
forbearance offers balance.

Guidance
When I walk.
Which path do I follow?
Who will tell me?
The high road or low.
Who do I ask?
What is right
or will be wrong?
Who will be my sight?
When times grow hard
and temptations abound.
Who will show me
safe detour around?
Guidance I seek.
To whom can I turn?
From what wise sage
wisdom can I learn?
That truth I chase
so often elusive.
Frustration abounds
to the point of abusive.
So many times
my efforts are checked
by demons of doubt and fear.
Still I shall not be deterred.
The path of truth
the only way I seek.
With guidance it I shall find.
No longer must I be weak.

Another possible source of guidance for teenagers is television, but television's message has always been that the need for truth, wisdom and world peace pales by comparison with the need for a toothpaste that offers whiter teeth *and* fresher breath.

A guidance counselor who has made a fetish of security, or who has unwittingly surrendered his thinking to economic determinism, may steer a youth away from his dream of becoming a poet, an artist, a musician or any other of thousands of things, because it offers no security, it does not pay well, there are no vacancies, it has no future.

Road To
You never know the road to
love mingles with which great
path, or the end of the blind
alley of hatred is blocked
for ever by a wall of aversion!
I don't know what hatred is,
how to humiliate the son of
God! Even, I can't hurt a sinner,
as I hate the sin, not the doer.
Your path is not like mine.
You are a black-hole which
can exploit emotion in its
endless cavity of hollow soul.
If I go near you I'll lose
myself in utter darkness.
You will be pulling me inside,
to eat my entity, my spirit.
I won't be ever near you.
That's my final decision!

On That Path
I'm on that path,
So was my mother,
I'm on that path,
Just like my brother.
I'm on that path,
I didn't know my father,
I'm on that path,
And i am the master.
I'm on that path,
upon the good, straying from evil.
I'm on that path-
There is no cheating.
I'm on that path,
God knows i need him.
I'm on that path,
and i hope i'm never leaving ;)

My Soul
my soul is from a distant star
my star offers open dwelling
to every loving soul
spirits guide my path
i read the works of souls
a part of me belongs to every age
yesterday i exchanged emails with a
man in the nineteen 90s
cris crossing dimensions
creating endless bubbles
thought reality dream
energy floating through space
i watched lovingly as man evolved
angelic under the stars
from the mighty ape
am i living? am I dead?
perhaps unborn?
mystery is an infinite part of me
my path is the path of
ever continuing
self discovery

Sprinkling Positive Thoughts
I am the
gardner
of my life
clearing
a path
for tomorrow.
Looking inward
for guidance
daily caring
for the inner

Always
sprinkling
positive
thoughts
through out
my life.

What Silence Can Offer
when everything seems to be crowded
when everyone speaks
in such a chatter
gibberish
and this room becomes
a narrow space
filled with nothing but
noise
i will be silent
this silence that offers me
refuge
a blankness of the mind
where i can rest and start all over
again where i can think
of nothing
but stillness
where i become a closed mouth
a blocked heart
where i clench my fists
and say nothing
then they all look at me
and begin
to open
this silence demands
that it is now my turn
to speak
and they will listen
but it is too late
something has began to tick
and so i must
leave at once
they must know
what suffering
in the noise means
soonest

Strange Is The Path When You Offer Love
Do not mention the name of love,
O my simple-minded companion.
Strange is the path
When you offer your love.
Your body is crushed at the first step.
If you want to offer love
Be prepared to cut off your head
And sit on it.
Be like the moth,
Which circles the lamp and offers its body.
Be like the deer, which, on hearing the horn,
Offers its head to the hunter.
Be like the partridge,
Which swallows burning coals
In love of the moon.
Be like the fish
Which yields up its life
When separated from the sea.
Be like the bee,
Entrapped in the closing petals of the lotus.
Mira's lord is the courtly Giridhara.
She says: Offer your mind
To those lotus feet.
To sin offers repentance and forgiveness; not to sin offers only punishment.

We Need Inspiration
What do I do now
NOT KNOWING WHICH WAY IS UP
Where do I go from here
What do I do
What can I do
WHEN I DON'T KNOW A THING ABOUT ME
BESIDES MY NAME AND EVEN THAT
SUBJECT TO CHANGE
So what do I do
I AM LOST CONFUSED
PRAYING THAT SOME ONE
MAY HELP TELL ME WHO
I AM AND WHERE I AM FROM
GUIDANCE IS ALL I NEED
NO NOT GUIDANCE
GUIDANCE IS
A EUPHEMISM FOR DICTATORSHIP
I WANT TO MAKE MY OWN DECISIONS
BUT HOW CAN I WHEN I DON'T
KNOW UP FROM DOWN
I AM JUST MEANDERING THROUGH THE WORLD
HOPING THAT I MAY SOMEHOW
COME ACROSS SOMETHING GOOD
BUT WHY GO SEARCHING
I COULD MAKE SOMETHING GOOD HERE
BUT what and how
WITH NO IDEA WHAT
DIRECTION UP MAY BE
SO I SEARCH NOT FOR THE GOOD STUFF
BUT THE INGREDIENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE IT
AS IF IT'S SOME EXOTIC RECIPE I SEARCH HIGH AND LOW
NOT KNOWING WHICH IS WHICH
NOT KNOWING WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR
OR WHAT I AM LOOKING AT
AND THEN IN DESPAIR I CALL TO GOD
FOR INSPIRATION
AND REALIZE THAT IS ALL I NEED
ALL I HAVE EVER NEEDED
ALL ANYONE NEEDS
ALL WE NEED IS INSPIRATION
AND ALL OF OUR WILDEST
FANTASIES WILL COME TRUE
Another adverse factor was the way the Russians received continual reinforcements from their back areas, as they fell back. It seemed to us that as soon as one force was wiped out, the path was blocked by the arrival of a fresh force.

Catharsis: it offers creative satisfaction.

Parental Guidance
You say I waste my life away
But I live it to the full
How would you know anyway
You're just mister dull
Why don't you get into the things we do today
You could lose twenty years right away
So we say
We don't need no
No no no
Parental guidance here
We don't need no
No no no
Parental guidance here
Every day you scream at me
To turn the music low
Well if you keep on screaming
You'll make me deaf you know.
You always chew me out

God’s Helping Hand
Let The Lord help you today, to find the path of His favored Way,
God’s Way unto abundant Life, the way above the grief and strife.
The helping hand of The Lord, will intervene when He’s implored,
As men seek God’s helping hand, in ways we cannot understand.
God’s helping hand, full of Grace, can help you any time or place,
When you truly desire to live for Him, in this world of darkened sin.
God wants to lead us in His Light, on a path that is pure and right,
So all men can come to know, that He’s a God who loves them so.
God’s hand above is lifted friend, for pending Judgment in the end,
Judgment that’s not destined for, all those men who love The Lord.
For God’s helping hand truly is, His heavenly guide to earthly bliss,
Anchored in The Savior’s Love, sent from The Spirit of God above.
God’s guidance is available to all, leading to Grace from man’s fall,
Where we can meet at the cross, The One who died for all the lost,
Christ who was pierced for you, so you can seek His Guidance too.
Where from the cross of Calvary, Jesus Christ will guide to Eternity.
Jesus Christ who died for all of us, now lives so we can put our trust,
In The One who died for man’s sin, so eternally we can live with Him.
Through God you can be assured, you will find life in Christ our Lord,
For the moment you come to Christ, God shall grant you Eternal Life.
