I think about that ""empty"" space a lot. That emptiness is what allows for something to actually evolve in a natural way. I've had to learn that over the years - because one of the traps of being an artist is to always want to be creating, always wanting to produce.

Emptiness Comes
EMPTINESS COMES
Emptiness comes-
There is nothing to say
Nothing to write-
But Nothing is for me only nothing
It is not the goal and the meaning-
Egolessness belongs to saints of a certain kind
I am not a saint-
Emptiness disappears with the writing
Words and meanings come-
I suppose one will be empty forever
When one is alive
What can Emptiness give?
I have written against the Emptiness
And am less empty now for now-
Thank God I no longer feel empty now-

spawn again
Death becomes clearer through bloodshot eyes
As a death from old age becomes nearer
Why can't the livestock be free
When trading soldiers for steak
Learn to evolve with the new transition
To act upon a hypocritical vision
Discard the old and in with the new
Discard the old and in with the fashion
Learn to evolve with the new transition
To act upon a hypocritical vision
Learn to evolve

Wanting Out
I turned around
and there you were
standing in front of me
i can't ignore
the fact that you were back for more
It's kind of funny when you think about it
It's kind of hard to agree to disagree
now we're back to the start
no buts, no buts
but you want me back
so take me away
'cause I don't wanna be found
I should learn to speak up
When enough is enough
and I'm wanting out
and I'm wanting out
I saw you smiling in that photograph
and I remember how we used to laugh
but that was then
forgive and forget
that was easiest
so take me away
'cause I don't wanna be found
I should learn to speak up
When enough is enough
and I'm wanting out
and I'm wanting out------
ohhh
dadadadada dadada ohhh
And I don't know if I can get through this
and I never knew that before
you make up your mind
and suddenly find you're wanting more
so take me away
'cause I don't wanna be found
I should learn to speak up
When enough is enough
ohh
and I'm wanting out
and I'm wanting out
so take me away
'cause I don't wanna be found
I should learn to speak up
When enough is enough
ohh
and I'm wanting out
ohh
and I'm wanting out
and I'm wanting out
and I'm wanting out
and I'm wanting out

Empty time, empty place. Empty heart, empty space.
Empty time, empty place.
Empty heart, empty space.
Give a little, fight a war
Take a lot, there is more.
Left to die, all alone.
Blackened sins to atone.
In a place by a stream,
in a dark, empty dream.
In a room candles glow.
Truth prevails if you know.
Something sweet and something blue.
Something with a natural hue.
The Space
Eternity of the initial space
Creating space in space
Needing space to create space
Creating initial space.

We Are Converging
Wanting to be heard.
Wanting to be valued.
Wanting to be acknowledged.
Wanting to sustain a way of life...
Fading.
To emerge once again and surge.
Wanting to be admired.
Wanting most to be thought as best!
Wanting to imprint an impression...
That conflicts and unrest,
Did not from them initiate...
The perpetuating of protests.
Nor did the rise of destruction, fear and insecurities...
Leave this world in a chaotic mess.
We are converging!
And peace...
Will be the final test.
Many want.
Many wish.
Many hope to fill all hearts with love.
Instead of a digressive emptiness.

Spirits Learn From Us
Ghosts learn from us on the other side
they evolve with us while we actualize.
They have regrets, and growing that they must do
they need to transcend even if they are hidden from you.
What is below contributes to the whole
we are spiritual beings helping everyone grow.
We even help the spirits learn from our plane
isn't it great we have help them be more sane?
So remember we do more then we realize
when we evolve we help the other side.

Sadness Traps The Unfortunate
Sadness traps the unfortunate.
Those who will never be honest with themselves.
And live for things to comfort them.
To fulfill empty lives committed to hiding.
These are the ones who compare themselves to others.
These are the ones who feel significant,
If they can impress.
If their conversations express,
An interest that is common with pretensions addressed.
Sadness traps the unfortunate.
Those who will never be honest with themselves.
And live for things to comfort them.
To fulfill empty lives committed to hiding.
And those glass ceilings crack.
Precious plastic cards lose appeal.
Credit ratings plummet.
And those living leased lives are revealed.
Sadness,
Traps...
The unfortunate.
And looking back floods the tears,
From those who could not show compassion.
Now it is something that seems to flow.
But not from those doors padlocked and foreclosed.
Sadness,
Traps...
The unfortunate,
In minds where fear is found.
With compassion for others.
But no one is around to notice or care.
Since a cold indifferentness had always been there.
From those who exposed,
Their wishes just to feed their greed.
And egos.
Sadness traps the unfortunate.
Those who will never be honest with themselves.
And live for things to comfort them.
To fulfill empty lives committed to hiding,
Lieing and deceit.

A Vacuole....
haven't you taken a closer look
at the vacuole? it is owning a space for itself
and what you do not see is that
it is ingesting emptiness upon
its own open mouth
and just like you digesting everything
to tiny pieces
until everything gets so fluid
upon its own belly
the universe begins to take shape
and move
just like our own feelings of emptiness
we must learn this art of
ingestion
taking things and converting them
into fluids
until they take the shape of our faces
our future
and fears.

An Empty House
A house that's always empty
always feels its pain.
It's hollow and it's lifeless
and knows that it's insane
to shelter not a single soul
and hear no welcome sounds
because all of its rooms are vacant
and emptiness surrounds
its space.
A house that's always empty
wears a lonely face.

Open
Here there is nothing but open,
Nothing but pure space,
Nothing but a void of unknown.
In this place the only thing that exists in the mind,
Is what is made true through the spirit,
And actions made by the body.
In a world so empty and cold,
There is nothing to live for,
Yet at the same time nothing to die for.
Here, you just are,
You do not live or die or believe,
You just are.
It’s unimaginable to the worlds that surround,
A figment of a child’s imagination, maybe.
Abandoned over the years.
Maybe this place is the creation of a tired author,
Who has nothing to write, only characters without purpose,
No ideas left to create a solid world.
A lonely widow, perhaps,
With no one to please or be with,
Only an empty house filled with empty memories.
Or even a retired soldier,
Not wanting to live through the pain and dreams,
Creating a world so empty, so predictable, nothing could go wrong.
A mother who has lost their child,
Who goes from day to day following suit,
Wishing it was them instead of their baby who left the world.
The blackness of this world is unlike any other,
A simple world that is pure impurities,
Simple complexity.
Like the worlds we make for ourselves to escape to,
When our own reality becomes more than we can handle, less than we expect,
A world we can slip off to silently screaming.
A bright place of darkness,
A never ending end to what we live everyday,
A single lie that we live with as if it were true.
A world that is everything and nothing,
Completely incomplete,
Written and unwritten.
Open.

In My Silence I Am Breaking
i am an empty vessel
why not fill me up a little
with your cool water
it will really matter
i am an empty vessel
for a long time now
wanting to be contained
in your fullness
you may please
fill me up to my brim
if it is possible with you
fill me with your cool waters
let me overflow
with your love
and understanding
in my emptiness
i am howling
in my silence
i am breaking

Meaningless At Best
What you once valued...
With standards you elected to perfect,
Have found themselves insignificant.
And meaningless at best.
There is a consciousness descending,
Rapidly.
And creating an upheaveling of affects.
Yes they are physical.
Yes they are mental.
And behind these times are going to leave you.
If you are not loosening your grip,
On being set...
In your ways.
What you once valued...
With standards you elected to perfect,
Have found themselves insignificant.
And meaningless at best.
There is a consciousness descending,
Rapidly.
And creating an upheaveling of affects.
To struggle against the cosmicness of it,
Will only produce...
More of your foolishness.
Since this has nothing to do with
The emptiness of ritualistic symbolic routines.

Without The Windows
without the windows
where can the frames be?
without the space
where can air be and all those who thrive
because there is an emptiness between
arms and lips and bodies
without my emptiness
what is the use of you?
without this space between us
where can we be?
this nothingness makes us meet once again
let us love it, embrace it and make love to it
do we have a choice, my dear?
maybe you, on some uncertain terms, but
i have to be honest, i have none,
i have only you.

Words Of The Dragon
My children,
Children of the earthly realm
Billion years we stood watch
At the highest mountain porch
Now that you are Earth's helm,
We wish, we hope,
We guided you as you evolve
No conflicts cannot be resolved
No matter how much you change
You will always be our children
Yet you have never learn,
Your brothers, your sisters
Why do they have to suffer
Few million years you grown
To kings of this earthly zone
Will we ever be reunited,
As animals we all learn to love
For milleniums you stain the Earth
Our wisdom will never surpass hope
That one day, you be what you deserve.
Emptiness Is Both An Illusion And An Irony
emptiness is always an illusion
which carries with it an irony.
when i look at it, as its content shows,
it has nothing
bare hands, opening fingers,
an empty transparent ball, it can
tell your future, it can dig your
past,
thinking that it is spacious, i went
inside it, pierce myself though it
only to find that that are so many
crowding elements in there and they
are choking me and you who is looking
outside it, thinks that nothing is happening
but then the struggle is horrible, quick
and even deadly, so many hang themselves in
empty air, and lose their lives, because
you cannot see the body of breathing,
when you learn to live with it however,
you become full, emptiness is its irony,
its antithesis, for how can you ever be full
if you have never known how to empty yourself?
the face of emptiness is a mist, and you touch
it, you will hold a forest, so many black birds,
myriad exotic orchids, so many blending sounds of
trees screaming, of creeks flowing of waterfalls
cascading that you can relate to the locks of
your hair and the hairs of your armpits,
inside it is too personal to be told, outside it
are so many denials with the faces of the people
that you have loved before, and then you decide
to stay at a distance, you are like a tree
dark as a shadow, counting the hours
when the sun finally fades away.
