About Nothing At All

imagine an
empty space

your hands
have nothing
to hold

you float and
there is nothing
to land

a ship without
sea
no port visible
no anchor
no lighthouse

there is no storm
neither calm nor
chaos

there is no
poetry since
there are no
words
no thoughts
no spark
no inspiration

there is no house

there is

a vast emptiness
nothing follows.
