In Here

in here we come
without promises
of stars

we are free to go
leaving is not difficult
it is all in our minds
this dizziness about
our existence as poets
the last bulwark of
erotic thoughts

this is the place of
certain confidences
we write what we think
not what we are
we empathize we get into
the shoes of another we weep
as though we do not own any
tear we keep the silence sometimes
as though we own space
we move as though we are
the river we fall as though
we are the rain

this is this place
welcome back to this world
of words
bring in the emptiness
think that soon you shall be full
and then empty yourself again
feel the essences
of all these nothingness

i have come with empty hands
and i shall leave
without my face.

Emptiness Comes

EMPTINESS COMES

Emptiness comes-
There is nothing to say
Nothing to write-

But Nothing is for me only nothing
It is not the goal and the meaning-

Egolessness belongs to saints of a certain kind
I am not a saint-

Emptiness disappears with the writing
Words and meanings come-

I suppose one will be empty forever
When one is alive
What can Emptiness give?

I have written against the Emptiness
And am less empty now for now-

Thank God I no longer feel empty now-

I Move

i move and part air
infront of me

the air fills every empty space
i created

i leave every step
and behind me another wholeness

comes, like i part the water of the river
with my hands
my feet catch what water i parte
and then
everything is whole again

i move, therefore,
to make all emptiness full

My Dark Dreams

I'm in the dark
And I'm lost
In my mind, screaming
Through the empty
Space, filled with no light
All I hear is my echo

I listen and hear the echo
Of silent breaking through the dark
Nothingness that consumes any light
That I don't see, in this lost
Place of empty
Dreaming, in which I scream

Soon as it stops, the screaming
High painful cry, and the echo
Fades, leaving me again in the empty
Hallow thoughts of my dark
Sleep, and wander through my mind lost
Of what I had, it was my light

What I had was like a warm light
That held me from the bitter screaming
Of the cold, it found me when I was lost
It covered me like a blanket, and echoed
Through my soul, with it I was never in the dark
And never left empty

Now, in my sleep, I am empty
The warm blanket of hte light
No longer holds me, but exposes me to the dark
And painful piercing screams
Of my own voice echoing
In my nightmares of what I've lost

I am lost
In the emptiness
Of my own pain, that echoes
Through me, and all I want again is the light
For it I scream
In my dreams, but all I get in the dark

I dream of the dark and I'm lost
My screaming is only heard by the empty
Space in my mind, where light shined, but there is only echo.

Travel to the place...

Travel to the place
Where mind set to peace,
No one can see,
Feel us free.

Travel to the place
Where we can breathe,
Fill our desire,
We wish; we aspire.

Travel to the place
Where we have silence,
Flower of fragrance,
And nature to admire.

Travel to the place
Where we can write,
Lines of rhyme,
At any time.

Travel to the place
Where we have enough space,
Work without race,
No tension on face.

Travel to the place
Where we can dance,
Sing at glance,
Bit of time to romance.

Travel to the place
Where we spread love,
Freedom to serve
And land to move.

Travel to the place
Where we can live,
Of joy and sprinkle its grace,
And do anything, anywhere.

Empty time, empty place. Empty heart, empty space.

Empty time, empty place.
Empty heart, empty space.
Give a little, fight a war
Take a lot, there is more.

Left to die, all alone.
Blackened sins to atone.
In a place by a stream,
in a dark, empty dream.

In a room candles glow.
Truth prevails if you know.
Something sweet and something blue.
Something with a natural hue.

San Antonio

san antonio
lead us to a place

where we are lost
and let us find

the way where we
can find our

way back home:
an empty space

a nothingness
a place where the

walls are not painted
where the doors are

not locked where the
windows look out

into an open universe
where all of us

are alive with living
fires where we become

shooting stars that
children see whose

mothers tell them:
make a wish!

Sometimes When I Have Nothing To Say

sometimes when i have nothing to say
like the silence of the closed window
or the nights on the grass
or the twinkle of the stars... i feel so full
and when i get so full, i feel like
vomiting my existence,
i am nauseous to this hiding, sometimes
i want to say it all, and then i become so empty
and when empty i float, i feel like i am nothing but air,
and then i surrender again
to the walls.... talking and talking to the walls
and i do not really care about the rumors that they have ears.

Houses of Dreams

You took my empty dreams
And filled them every one
With tenderness and nobleness,
April and the sun.

The old empty dreams
Where my thoughts would throng
Are far too full of happiness
To even hold a song.

Oh, the empty dreams were dim
And the empty dreams were wide,
They were sweet and shadowy houses
Where my thoughts could hide.

But you took my dreams away
And you made them all come true --
My thoughts have no place now to play,
And nothing now to do.

Suffering Is Always Personal and Better Left Unshared and Unspoken

my words are waking me up
my hand is ready, the computer beeps
i like to write an email for you

how many times shall this happen?
this urge to let you know

this morning, i again blame myself
because i can't

i am thinking of the consequences
i know how painful is it to fall
how empty can the house become
how a night without a stars can make us cry
sometimes

how the sound of the river when you walk alone
gives you the sound of the cry of the pebbles
they break their silence
they scream

for truths still untold
to rules that cannot be broken

when you enter that empty room again
a ball of silence meets you
you sit beside it
it speaks to you

this is the first time that you have seen
its nature
it is dressed with lips
and when they begin to open to about to speak to you
you close your hands
turning them into fists
and you hit your chest

and the ball of silence moves away from you
it is respect for pain
when silence pretends again that it is just a ball
and that it can go away

for men suffer all alone
on unsaid proportion
with that ability to embrace no

Intimacy....

it is more
in the mind, and so the brain
makes a room
for us
two,

we shut up the mouth of
the universe

we fall short of the words
which we have mastered

it is the moan
of loneliness meeting another
moaning of
emptiness

glasses are made full and then
we empty them
and then we fill them all again
with what
we cannot really fully
comprehend

we have thrown away everything
shed off clothes, skin,
thoughts

wind to wind and rain to rain
and then in the silence of the room
after
sunlight slowly creeps in
from the
shutters of our
windows...

if you leave
leave at once
for i have nothing
to say,

others ask
what to say when someone
you love says
about leaving?

i say
go, go, find what is lacking
find that which must complete you
and if you are empty still
do not come back to me
for i am empty too

how can emptiness fill another
emptiness?
mine will always be an invitation
i care
but once refused
there is no where
where you can find me
i am also gone
searching what you have been searching
but now it
shall not be you
i'll have someone else
who can fill
my own emptiness

Walking With The Lover...

walking with the Lover...
i see empty fields plowed,
come alive with crops abundant.
empty factory buildings filled
with the ghosts of hard working lives.
empty houses lit up,
and the sounds of families.
empty hands given cups and bowls,
empty hearts held close!
empty words given meaning,
empty promises fulfilled.
walking with the Lover...
touching the plenty of empty!

Catch Me If I Fall

empty, blank space
every fear that i face
when there's noone there
and it feels like noone cares
what else can i do
but run to you?
will you always be
there to care for me?
will you be there to hold
me when i'm empty and cold?
every tear i cry
every single lie
cuts me deeper still
until the pain is all that is real
i need you hold me close
to stop me from becoming a ghost
of the person i used to be
save me from all the pain and misery
just hold my hand through it all
and catch me when i fall
if i ask too much of you
i understand, do what you need to do
i'll try to find another way to heal
i'll try to find what is real
through every empty blank place
and every fear that i face

Against All Odd (feat. Mariah Carey)

How can I just let you walk away
Just let you leave without a trace
When I stand here taking
Every breath with you
You're the only one
Who relly knew me at all
How can you just walk away from me
When all I can do is watch you leave
'Cause we've shared the laughter and the pain
And even shared th tears
You're the only one
Who really knew me at all
So take a look at me now
Oh theres just an empty space
And theres nothing left here to
Remind me
Just a memory of your face
Take a look at me now
'Cause theres just an empty space
And you coming back to me is against
all odds
And thats what I've got to face
I wish I could just make you turn around
Turn around and see me cry
Theres so much I need to say to you
So many reasons why
You're the only one
Who really knew me at all
So take a look at me now
'Cause theres just an empty space
And there nothing left here to remind me
Just the memory of your face
Take a look at me now
'Cause theres just an empty space
But to wait for you is
All I can do
And thats what I've got to face
Take a good look at me now
'Cause I'll still be standing here
And you coming back to me is against all odds
Thats the chance I've got to take
Take a look at me now

Im Not That Way

Hold me... let me dry those tears for you
Be the healer... of your heart he broke in two
I wanna hold you close....
But somethin tells me to wait
Is it too soon to touch,
To reach for the love that you hide away...
Talk to me... tell me with your eyes
What did he do... to make you feel this way inside
Chorus:
Empty words, and promises made
Im not that way
Come to me and dont be afraid
Im not that way
Silence... was meant to be broken
Like waves on the shore
Let your tears wash away these emotions
I cant change the world,
I can change your mind...
Ill always be here, for you until you realize
Empty words, and promises made
Im not that way
Broken trust... a failure in faith
Im not that way
Im not that way
Cause lifes too short for waistin
Waistin precious time
If time is what you need baby
Ill give you all of mine
One day youre gonna look at me
And love is what youll find...
Empty words, and promises made
Im not that way
Come to me
Bring back your faith
Dont be afraid
Im not that way
Im not that way
I want to hold you
I want to hold you close
Let me hear your heart baby

Sometimes

Feel all that you touch
you back up against the wall
sometimes it seems too much
you find your secret place
some place you just need to go and hide

Sometimes you find yourself stare
deep out into space
thinking about a memory
of some forgotten face
you would bleed the sky
if only the clouds would shed a tear

Sometimes all the ups and downs
you been through it all
and after a while
those smiles and frowns
they just seem the same
you can't tell
which is which of the two
paridise will slowly die
as you make it closer to home

Sometimes you find yourself lost
through a mist in the dew
wandering through endless crowds
where no one knows your name
you walk in another shadow
just trying to disappear
and you think who would care
you fall from saving grace
you just leave without a trace

Sometimes it does'nt matter
who you are
or just where you been
the roads you traveled down
or just how far
it makes no difference to them
they will never see you again
and you will move on
in this world alone
no matter what the cost
everything here has a price

Sometimes you lose sense of reality
rolling the same old dice
with every passing year
waiting for something that will never be
and you better think twice
before you take their advice
it could take you the wrong way
into another empty day

Sometimes the devil is by your side
other times a angel takes the wheel
when you're losing control
on this dark road you only know
fourty hours deep
with so much time to kill
sitting on this windowsill
looking out trying to get back in

Sometimes when you sleep
you like to come back here
with dreams of me there
you go back now and then
where you let it all begin
and when you see a shooting star
you know I'll be here somewhere

Liberty Sought For All

Words keep filling my brain.
I rarely write them down.
Because as soon as I empty my head.
Words start filling my brain again.

I can never empty my head.
For there remains too much unsaid.
Poignant thoughts, enlightened ideas, ideals.
Waiting for a poet to bring them to heal.

Words. Words. Words. Words. Words.
Whirling Whirling Whirling Whirling Words.
Waiting for a chosen moment, of precise creativity.
Waiting for a special moment, of ordained existence.

Waiting to transform
a corrupt materialistic world.
Waiting to put compassion
back into heartless hearts.

Waiting to restore love
vitality freedom and nobility.
Waiting to herald a new age
of heaven sent realized liberty.

Poems from heaven

poems from heaven come to me in my sleep
i awake in the morning and i start to weep.
for in my dreams i see the loved ones who had past
they give me these words which will forever last

you are my child which i gave to the world at birth
i did not know at the time- if and what
your life would be worth.
but i knew in my heart that there was a purpose in your life
now i am in a better existence looking down upon you
and the lord has shown me what you have to do..
you are here to spread the word to all the other poets.
that they could reach more people than they
could ever dare to imagine.

open up your hearts and minds, and let
your loved ones souls with yours entwine.
listen to what they have to say
for with their words, this world
will be a better place.

.these are the poems from heaven of which
i talk about.
and of this i have no doubt.

to all the poets of the world, continue
to spread the words that come into your hearts and minds
for they will be here way beyond our time.

Dotty and Willy.

Dotty screws the pen lid,
puts the pen down, folds
her hands in her lap. Willy
has finished his poem, he

is now silent, his muse has
gone. She watches as her
brother sits back in his chair,
pushes his fingers through his

dark hair and sighs. That makes
her almost cry, that poet muse
going like that, him sitting there,
face empty, sighs leaving him

instead of words. Tonight she
will enter it all in her journal,
after cocoa and a biscuit and
Willy's kiss and him gone off

to bed, humming to himself.
She will sit by lamplight, take
out her pen, and write on the
clean page, how he wrote,

what he wrote, the words,
the muse, the leaving of him.
She will leave out the kiss,
the embrace, the seeing each

other face to face. Willy hates
writing things down, he just likes
to sit when the words come and
he can speak them and let Dotty

write the words in the air floating
there. He gets up from his chair,
paces the room, his hands behind
his back, his words gone, his mood

dark, becoming black. Dotty looks
at her hands, entwines her fingers,
makes a church, makes a steeple,
looks inside, sees ink stained people.
