The Innocent Children
Tiny Smiles,
Light up the Room,
by the children,
You can hear their laughter,
down the hall,
the funny part is,
their laughing at nothing at all,
How is it that somewhere
between the ages of twelve
and fourteen,
you lose that sweet
laughter,
and you become serious,
You no longer find simple things funny,
you watch your weight,
and care only about money,
for a new pair of expensive jeans,
or those wonderful shoe,
I just sit and I muse
Why dont I laugh like that anymore?
And smile while im just thinking?
Where did my childhood go?

Grade 9 English Project - What Makes Laughter So Funny?
People say there is nothing funnier then laughter
You can even chuckle some long hours after
You laugh at what is sometimes seen
You laugh at things you do not mean
Yet some where in all hilarity
In amongst that crazy parody
Will Someone please tell me, I’ll give you money
What makes laughter, so darn funny!
Why, when you laugh do people laugh too?
Laugh not at things you say or things you do
Its crazy how when nothing’s funny
People laugh and clutch their to tummy
Will anybody tell me? Wouldn’t you? please, sonny
What makes laughter so gosh darn funny!
Yes, What makes laughter so gosh darn FUNNY!

Virgo Clowns
Let us free you from the pain
Let us see you smile again
Let us unlock all the chains
Youre broken-hearted
Let us help you to forget
Let us help you unlock it
Its not nearly time to quit
Youve only started
You gotta
Sit down funny face
Let your laughter fill the room
Light up your golden smile
Take away all your misery and gloom
Let your laughter fill the room
Let your laughter fill the room
Let us shake you by the hand
Let us help you understand
Take your head out of the sand
And shake it free now
Let us help you to go on
We are here to lean upon
Now you know exactly just who
You want to be now
Come on
Sit down funny face
Let your laughter fill the room
Light up your golden smile
Take away all your misery and gloom
Let your laughter fill the room
Let your laughter fill the room
Let us lift you up on high
See the twinkle in your eye
Raise your head up to the sky
And say its easy
Hey let the trumpets ring it
Let the angels sing it
Let your pretty feet go dancing
Let your worn out mind go prancing
And
Sit down funny face
Let your laughter fill the room
Light up your golden smile
Take away all your misery and gloom
Let your laughter fill the room
Let your laughter fill the room
Etc.

Its Funny
It’s funny how you break me down
And yet I’m still there waiting
How you yell and scream
And I’m still there trying.
Its funny how you get away
With the crap you do.
Well I’m not laughing
Because it’s just
Sad that you manipulate
Me the way you do.
Make me feel guilty
When I try to express myself!
It’s funny how you have
So much control over MY world,
And how push my buttons and
I refrain from do anything at all.
Its funny how play your cards,
Thinking I’d never leave.
Well no ones laughing anymore
Everyone can now see
You will no longer have control
Over me! No longer be the cause
Of my tears, no longer tell me what to do.
It’s funny, the way you’re
Looking at me all pathetic,
It’s funny the way I tipped the
Tables. Yes I’m laughing now,
I can finally fly and have no worries.
Your reign is done, the moments
Are gone, I think its funny that now
You’ll suffer what I have for many months.

I miss you.. x
Today I feel sad because I'm missing you
I smile thinking about the things you do
I smile when I hear your funny laughter
I smile hearing it getting louder and louder
I smile when I hear that funny talk
I smile when I see that funny walk
And after everything is said and done
I Miss Your Smile when you are gone

You Believe In Laughter, Do You?
since when have i seen you laughing?
twelve years ago?
really? you don't believe in laughter
anymore. I will take you to places
where laughters are planted
and grown. A stroll at the park
seeds of laughter are sown
by all the children. They run
without direction. Life is a
play, a game. Life is not
a thinking, but a mere
being there. I will take you
to these fancy restaurants.
See the lovey-dovey teeners
over there? They are engaged
in whispers-at-nothing really.
Cheek to cheek. The guy is
handing a spoonful of macaroni
to the girl. And the girl chews.
And the guy takes a glass
of coke, so she does not choke.
Laughters are made here.
And they are everywhere.
Do not follow them home.
You may not find the laughter
anymore in their own
lonely rooms.
Why should our room be
devoid of laughter?
Let me make them
for you. I start with a can.
I will open it. Don't look at me.
Do i look like a guilty
jilted lover?
Now you are laughing.
I told you. It is true.
That affair is over.
We start anew. This
canned laughter. Try it.
For once. Please.

Me and Laughter Together Always
Sometimes I laugh out loud
Showing you that I could care less what you have to say
All that matters is that my feelings are hidden
Hiding from those who judge me and those who love me
And Laughter helps me do just that
Laughter is my better half
Laughter stands with me when I’m bored
Laughter comforts me when I want to cry
He keeps me company through grief and through happiness
For better or worse, in sickness and health, through thick and thin
I love Laughter and Laughter loves me back
And yet you don’t know why Laughter makes Me
Look deep into my eyes when I laugh and you’ll see
You will find all the hate, all the pain, and all the hurt
But if that’s all you see
You’re not looking deep enough
Look past the tears that I won’t allow to flow
Look past the memories that I can’t let go of
And when you see through all the hate, all the pain and all the hurt
You'll find Me
I cover Me up with Laughter
There are none who can see the true Me
They can’t see through my Laughter
And if you should happen to see Me
I won’t need Laughter to hide anymore
Because I can cry on your shoulder
I can smile and enjoy you company without a single sound
Only then, Laughter won’t be my protector
Until then, it’s Me and Laughter together always
I hide my feelings through Laughter
So if you’re trying to figure out what I’m thinking,
Laugh with me and you will then see...-Me

I'm Funny
I am fuuny
thats who am i
I am funny
Make u laugh n cry
I am funny
Do funny things
I am funny
I like to play with strings
I am funny
And i don't care
I look funny in my underwear
It's funny that im funny
Thats what i like to be
So lets be funny together
Be funny like me
Laughing At Ourselves
Some people have this tenancy
to make others feel sad,
some even torment just
to make others get mad.
Little ole me
I like to brighten up
everyone’s day with laughter
by telling a joke or two,
because I feel that laughter
is the best medicine
to get rid of the blues.
The world can be a funny place
if you stop and look at it for a while.
Everything has its funny side,
even in the darkest day.
An incoherent message
that makes no sense at all
some would find funny
and end up curled up on the floor.
So whatever you are doing
look on the funny side of it
for nothing can be funnier
than laughing at ourselves.

Joint Laughter
We laugh at the same funny things,
Our quick sense of humour just springs
From being together,
Whatever the weather,
It's wonderful what such laughter brings.
We can each see the funny side, that's true,
But of course we can sometimes be blue,
But if one of us is down,
Then the others a clown
Enticing a smile to break through.
Sometimes, when we're both very tired,
And we feel that we're electrically wired,
Something just makes us smile,
And after a while,
We can laugh, which is just what's required.
I won't say there's not sadness in life,
But try looking beyond all the strife,
We keep smiling along,
Till the sadness has gone,
That's the delight of being 'husband and wife'.

Giggles, Laughter and Stabbing Stares
Giggles, laughter and stabbing stares,
It would kill them to be nice,
It would hurt them to be kind,
Giggles, laughter and stabbing stares,
The notes are being passed around,
They don’t see, no one cares,
Giggles, laughter and stabbing stares,
Tearing at all I’ve built up,
But it won’t work anymore,
Giggles, laughter and stabbing stares,
What they don’t know is,
I just don’t care,
Giggles, laughter and stabbing stares,
Every one is doing it,
But I just sit and laugh,
Giggles, laughter and stabbing stares,
It’s so funny they think I care,
They are stupid to think I do,
Giggles, laughter and stabbing stares,
I laugh and laugh
Because they don’t see that no one cares,
Giggles, laughter and stabbing stares…
Giggles, laughter and stabbing stares…
Giggles, laughter and stabbing stares…

Cracking Up
Cracking up getting ready to go
Had enough I cant take any more
No pills that I can take
This is too real and there aint no escape
It scares the daylight making nightmares
Im chancing Im nervous
And everybodys all around me
Shaking hands and saying howdy
I dont think its funny no more cracking up
Cracking up like a worn out shoe
I aint wet but the world leaking through
Id run but Id find no place
Id laugh but its wrecking me
Make you shiver make you shake
Make a monster just like an earthquake
Everybodys having fun
I dont know how they can carry on
I dont think its funny no more cracking up
I dont think its funny no more cracking up
The dead of nighttime the crack of dawn
It comes upon me without warning
If I were a gun then I would shoot
I tear the head out by the root
Id make a knife out of an ocean
All that sea in an ocean of emotion
I dont think its funny no more cracking up
I dont think its funny no more cracking up
I dont think its funny no more cracking up
I dont think its funny no more
I dont think its funny no more
I dont think its funny no more

Thats Not Really Funny
Did you think that I would laugh when you said I was small
Did you think that that would pass as if nothing at all
You say a lot of funny things, my little bunny
And I almost always laugh, but thats not really funny
You play the little bells and tell a good story
You bake delicious pie and thats enough for me
But I dont think that Im your man, and youre my little honey
And I like what you have to say, but thats not really funny
You must not continue to wear my ? ? like me
The neighbour children threw the window to the sea
The little boy will wipe his nose bacause its runny
Then point at me and laugh, but thats not really funny

It's Funny How
It's funny how hello is always accompanied with goodbye
It's funny how remembering good memories can make you cry
It's funny how forever never seems to really last
It's funny how much you'd lose if youforgot youre past
It's funny how friends can just leave when you're down
It's funny how when you need someone the're never around
It's funny how people can change and think the're so much better
It's funny how many lies can be packed into one love letter
It's funny how people can forgive even tho they cant forget
It's funny how one night can catain of so much regret
It's funny how crazy and ironic life turns out to be but the funniest part of all is that non of that seeems funny to me.
I got this poem from a friend i dont know who writ it or where it came from.

Funny Feelings
Oh baby,
Girl i, girl i,
Got the funny feeling,
Oh yeah, yes I do.
Everytime I try to kiss your lips, you turn away.
And when I try to hold you near my heart you just tell me not today.
Well the days, grow to weeks, and the weeks, just add on.
And I try to be strong, but I feel like you dont love me,
Anymore...
[chorus:]
Funny feelings,
Funny feelings,
That you dont love me anymore.
Funny feelings,
Funny feelings,
That you dont love me anymore.
I find myself sitting by the phone,
Waiting for it to ring.
And oh, my mailbox is always full,
But from you I never recieve a thing.
Well I try, to just go
By the things that you say.
But the things that you do,
They just tell me that you dont love me,
Anymore...
[chorus]
Oh baby...
Well I try,
I try to just go,
By the things, the things that you say.
But the things the things that you do,
They just tell me that you dont love me baby,
Anymore...
[chorus]

I Dont Care Anymore
Well you can tell evryone Im a down disgrace
Drag my name all over the place.
I dont care anymore.
You can tell evrybody bout the state Im in
You wont catch me crying cos I just cant win.
I dont care anymore I dont care anymore
I dont care what you say
I dont play the same games you play.
cos Ive been talking to the people that you call your friends
And it seems to me theres a means to and end.
They dont care anymore.
And as for me I can sit here and bide my time
I got nothing to lose if I speak my mind.
I dont care anymore I dont care no more
I dont care what you say
We never played by the same rules anyway.
I wont be there anymore
Get out of my way
Let me by
I got better things to do with my time
I dont care anymore I dont care anymore
I dont care anymore I dont care anymore
Well, I dont care now what you say
cos evry day Im feeling fine with myself
And I dont care now what you say
Hey Ill do alright by myself
cos I know.
cos I remember all the times I tried so hard
And you laughed in my face cos you held all the cards.
I dont care anymore.
And I really aint bothered what you think of me
cos all I want of you is just a let me be.
I dont care anymore dyou hear? I dont care no more
I dont care what you say
I never did believe you much anyway.
I wont be there no more
So get out of my way.
Let me by
I got better things to do with my time
I dont care anymore
Dyou hear? I dont care anymore
I dont care no more
You listening? I dont care no more
No more!
You know I dont care no more!

Where Did The Echo Of Laughter Go
My mind, and thoughts float
all in darkness these days.
I do not have any ambition
left in me.
My mind slumbers the days
away.
I've been disconsolate
for so long.
God give me the will
to drag these old
bones from this bed.
I want to unlock and open
that window,
to life, and laughter.
once again.
I want and need to feel
alive again.
People use to say
I was funny.
Where did the echo
of my laughter go?
I use to think laughter
was part of life.I use
to laugh at a funny
joke.
lugubrious is not
what I want now
in life.
My window is only
open to laughter
and blue sky.
now.
