A Couple
A couple sat in front of me
full of life and laughter
they caressed each other
like two children searching
for some unkown stuff
in a dark room
Full of naughtiness and brightness
thier smiles and every move had
a story foretold 'they were in LOVE'
laughter had mischief and
touch a touch of sensitivity
but their words were secritive
audible to no one but themselves
they were behaving like kids
and laughing at absolutely notheing
as i passed by
i saw the cupid laughing on his seccess
and the devil crying at his failure
and then i wished tht the devil could be killed
and cupid ruled hearts the i belive
this worl would e a mch better place to live in

Guarded
Guarding yourself from the love of another
Left you with nothing tonight
Why does it sound like the devil is laughing
Leaving me haunted tonight
You did decide
Now I want you, when you're gone, and now it's like
You're holding something just in front of me
Well then, I can't allow this to become another
One of those times that I'm left in the cold, dead
There's no compromise
Just another tie
I know I need to sever
Guarding yourself from the love of another
Left you with nothing tonight
Why does it sound like the devil is laughing
Leaving me haunted tonight
You did decide
Ever haunted, by the trappings of this life
Sweet redemption, just in front of me
Well now, it seems once again that I've lost another
One of the one's that have broke through the wall
Damned
Fate won't compromise
I have sold my soul,
And now the devil's laughing
You did decide
You were bold and strong, and ready to begin your life
All for nothing, you were sacrificed
You began alone, and so it will be when you die
All for nothing, will you be remembered?
You did decide
Guarding yourself from the love of another
Left you with nothing tonight
So now you know why the devil is laughing
He left you with nothing tonight
You did decide

Im So Happy I Cant Stop Crying
Seven weeks have passed now since she left me
She shows her face to ask me how I am
She says the kids are fine and that they miss me
Maybe I could come and baby-sit sometime
She says, are you o.k.? I was worried about you
Can you forgive me? I hope that youll be happy.
Im so happy that I cant stop crying
Im so happy Im laughing through my tears
I saw a friend of mine
He said, i was worried about you
I heard she had another man,
I wondered how you felt about it?
Im so happy that I cant stop crying
Im so happy Im laughing though my tears
Saw my lawyer, mr good news
He got me joint custody and legal separation
Im so happy that I cant stop crying
Im laughing through my tears
Im laughing through my tears
I took a walk alone last night
I looked up at the stars
To try and find an answer in my life
I chose a star for me
I chose a star for him
I chose two stars for my kids and one star for my wife
Something made me smile
Something seemed to ease the pain
Something about the universe and how its all connected
The park is full of sunday fathers and melted ice cream
We try to do the best within the given time
A kid should be with his mother
Everybody knows that
What can a father do but baby-sit sometimes?
I saw that friend of mine, he said,
you look different somehow
I said, everybodys got to leave the darkness sometime
Im so happy that I cant stop crying
Im laughing through my tears
Im laughing through my tears
Im so happy that I cant stop crying
Im laughing through my tears

My Heart is Broken
Does anyone know that my heart is broken?
Perhaps no one really knows because of the laughter I show when I'm with them,
Nobody knows that my heart is hurting because of that person.
Those days in love it was the laughter that made me happy,
Waking up in the morning next to the person that I loved,
It was everything that I could wished for,
But the laughter faded when the person said it was over.
Years have passed by but the memories are still here,
And I don't think I could ever erase the person from my mind,
Those wonderful memories from my heart.
My heart is bleeding from the sad memories that were once happy,
I can laugh and laugh,
I can lie to myself and my friends,
But the tears from the laughter are the tears from the heartbreak.
Sometimes in the nights I hear myself laughing,
The laughter that echoes through the nights,
Through the lonely dark room,
I sometimes realize that not all of the echoing sounds are laughter,
But they are the tears and sadness coming from my heart.
How can I erase anything when the person's love was so beautiful?
How can I erase that person from my memory,
When I still love that person so much

Do you hear it?
Do you hear it?
The laughter?
You don't know, do you
That we are only here to serve THEM
Those so high, high above us
We are their pawns, their playthings
To them we are nothing
They sit on their thrones laughing
At us
Laughing their laughter,
The laughter of dark gods.

Cupid's Mess!
Here comes the valentine day,
The season and time of the year,
When cupid is more busier than ever,
Shooting arrows to young as well as selected old hearts.
Cupid is known to play the game of love,
He with his symbolic bow and arrows,
Is known to ignite love among young hearts,
Creating love confusion is cupid’s favorite game.
His most successful moments,
When hearts become fully dipped in love,
And when their hearts act stronger than their mind,
And when the victims are not in their actual disposition.
So great was the joy of Cupid,
His sense of pride in his success,
To see the pain and excitement of people in love,
So Cupid was called by angels as 'Stupid Cupid'!

Valentine Cupid
the story of the cupid is strange you see
its always been a mystery to me
was this child with wings of beauty, and bow & arrow in hand
created by my fellow man.
to shoot his arrows in the hearts of all
laughing and having a ball..
or did he really come from the heavens above
to fill our hearts with all this love
has he really reached his goal
to touch our lives young and old.
for if this is true
then you have put my heart on fire
and filled me with desire
to satisfy your inner most needs.
for deep in me he planted the seed.
for with this, i tell you true
my heart belongs to only you.

But No More
The time is now or never
The crashing is coming near
The delphi is on the corner
And he whispers in your ear
It used to be men could be solemn even while laughing
And laughter could be heard shore to shore
But no more
Now all you hear is crying
Cause no one's on the phone
Your feet are just now freezing over
You know that you are here all alone
It used to be men could be solemn even while laughing
And laughter could be heard shore to shore
But no more
When I think of friends and places
Things we wanted, hoped we'd be
All that's left is fading traces
Memories of what use to be
Hear their laughter, see their shadows
Feel the darkness, see the light
We had lit all but lost so quickly
We think we won but we lost the fight
But it's all the same to me
I've seen all I want to see
First they laugh at you
Then they cry
Say they'll always be there
Then they die
So alone yet so alive
It used to be men could be solemn even while laughing
And laughter could be heard shore to shore
But no more

You Believe In Laughter, Do You?
since when have i seen you laughing?
twelve years ago?
really? you don't believe in laughter
anymore. I will take you to places
where laughters are planted
and grown. A stroll at the park
seeds of laughter are sown
by all the children. They run
without direction. Life is a
play, a game. Life is not
a thinking, but a mere
being there. I will take you
to these fancy restaurants.
See the lovey-dovey teeners
over there? They are engaged
in whispers-at-nothing really.
Cheek to cheek. The guy is
handing a spoonful of macaroni
to the girl. And the girl chews.
And the guy takes a glass
of coke, so she does not choke.
Laughters are made here.
And they are everywhere.
Do not follow them home.
You may not find the laughter
anymore in their own
lonely rooms.
Why should our room be
devoid of laughter?
Let me make them
for you. I start with a can.
I will open it. Don't look at me.
Do i look like a guilty
jilted lover?
Now you are laughing.
I told you. It is true.
That affair is over.
We start anew. This
canned laughter. Try it.
For once. Please.

To a fellow poet
What can I give you –
for only giving can I think of,
in this dark season of the year
which needs no festive name, to name the need…
this dark season, when hearts yearn
for all that’s bright, and warm, and love..
what can I give you, at this time?
I give you – music… music, heard
outside the heart’s dark winter door
to say, that all’s not lost; all’s never lost;
there’s music still and always, through the door…
you’ll hear, and know yourself to be that all…
I give you – laughter… laughter, on the face
of strangers, as you open that dark door;
strangers who laughing turn to you
and share their laughter and a proffered hand;
a room of laughter shared with you, illusions laughed away…
As poet gives to poet, these I give you;
they are – but poetry;
as poetry, may live.
*
[occasioned by discussion of ‘the three persons’ in poetry:
the confessional poetry of ‘I’;
the poetry that speaks and gives to ‘you’;
and the poetry of he, she, it, they – of universal truth..]

My Caring Wife
You are who you are and as I have often said
you're blessed with the ability to think ahead.
And God has also given you a caring heart
a place in which such deep emotions take their part.
So many forms of emotion flow out of you
as you show such joy and laughter and sorrow too.
Your sensitivity can sometimes make you cry
and it is because you feel deeply that you sigh.
Signs of pain and sadness you so often reveal
when grieving for others and their heartache you feel.
As you reach out to them with your loving embrace
tears of sorrow and empathy flow down your face.
Like Poo Bear you hum tunes as on your way you go
determined to others your friendliness to show.
When chuckling and laughing your lovely beaming face
glows with love as your grand children you embrace.
My love, you are so full of laughter and such joy
when in the company of those whom you enjoy.
Unconditional affection to all you share
and I praise God for your deep love and tender care.
Laughter
Then the Lord smiles
Flowers florescence
Tickled heart shines
In twinkling eyes
Befriending laughing tears..
Laughter is heavenly
Savvy happy, for it links
Body, mind, soul so intense
Beatitude for it enchains
Being to being contagious
Harmony for it thereon begets
Laughter is heavenly..
Hell with laughing devils
Their laughter of cacophonic peals
Laughs to laugh at tears
Not so, not so with heavenwards
Imbibed of seventh heaven redolence
Laughter is heavenly

Golden Days
I long for those days
which were filled with full of laughter,
Without worrying about time
when we just used to loiter
I miss those days
which were full of pranks n mischief,
When we used to burst into laughing
without minding the crowd or anything
People used to mock us
& call us the laughter stock,
yet we were unmindful
& simply used to rock!
Yes I long for the lost happiness
for the lost world,
My today seems to be void minus those moments
Its like an ocean without a pearl!
For the moments we spent together
were The Best,
As we used to have a blast
with all the zeal n the zest.
Today we know its not possible for us
to rewind again,
As we were girls then, n now a mother n a wife
who has taken a more responsible path now in life.
But I still live in those moments
by rewinding the cute, sweet, unforgettable memories,
By smiling all alone
forgetting all my present worries!

Laughter Charmer
In memory of my niece whose laughter was never to cease
And I say we are alike, light-headed, because we've taken to laughter.
When laughter last in the household heard
The light went off your eyes
Killed by a whippersnipper obsessed with cars.
After I heard of your death
I felt alive
Because once more in my life
I could cry.
And wished I could've taken
Your place
But these words are all
I could've taken to.

Laughter
They said they were sending two men
Two men not one
They would come,
Unnannouced
Into the place where you were living
The place where you were sleeping ad eating
The place where you were wasted time
And losing sleep and memories
The place where there was too much to do
And nothing to fill in the hours lost between
sleeping and eating and cleaning and waking
And taking back
And not taking
The things you had lost
The loves forsaking
The laughter
The days without speaking
The rooms full of weeping
Of not getting things done
A house full of fun
A place full of rest and unrest
Unwashed glasses
Silent protests in
Unpaid bills
They said they would come
Unnannouced
To your house
When you were ill
And too happy to know
That the laughter
Was the cause of it all
The cause of a fall
A high pitch screeching
A howling
A holler
They said Two men would come, not one,
When you were laughing and having such fun
When had stopped feeling rotten
Forgotten the plot
Left those dark looks aside
When you were out of control rolling about on the floor
Crying with laughter tears in your eyes
Two men would come
You would here them knock on your door
You would see them waiting outside through the glass
And when you asked them 'Why? '
Their swift reply would Be 'Just don't ask'
The they would take you away, no cup of tea
No polite tete,
The interrogation would begin
'Don't you know it's a crime, a sign of the times? '
And you will reply 'What? I was just havin a laugh'
Then a photograph and a finger print
Then a hand round your throat
And a sinister grin that will pass
It's on the tip if your tongue
'Why two men and not one? and where's your white coats? '

Laughter In The Rain.
We use to have it,
Long long time ago.
We use to reach for it.
But now it’s no more.
It was our pride,
Having laughter in the rain,
With nothing to hide,
We made it plain.
How stunning it was laughing in the rain.
Laugh like a drain,
Like a baby with no stain.
Yes!
I felt like a child
Felt it like a lady that is not wild.
Having laughter in the rain with you,
Hand in hand walking on the street with you.
In all times you hold me tight.
To make me feel alright.
Laughter always in my mouth.
`Cause you always with me no matter what.
How stunning,
Having laughter in the rain.
No cunning,
We made every thing plain.
Sit on the couch laughing and laughing
Laughing and laughing.
To ease the pain.
Having laughter in the rain.
Laughter in the rain,
Sadness of our pain.
It was a pleasure.
It is a treasure.
And I am sure
It is nothing you will not want to measure.
Our laughter in the rain.
The many tears we cried over and over again.
It is something maybe good.
Everyone thought we could,
Take it to the next level if we would.
I remember thousand of the droplet tears
The holding and cuddling to take off the fears.
Titter to make us laugh.
Titillate me to get me down.
Laughter in the rain.
Took away our pain.
But now it is no more.
We lost it long time ago.
It was our pride.
It was with us every time we ride
Laughter in the rain.

Devil Inside
(a farriss & m hutchence)
Here come the woman
With the look in her eye
Raised on leather
With flesh on her mind
Words as weapons sharper than knives
Makes you wonder how the other half die
Other half die
Here come the man
With the look in his eye
Fed on nothing
But full of pride
Look at them go
Look at them kick
Makes you wonder how the other half live
The devil inside
The devil inside
Every single one of us the devil inside
The devil inside
The devil inside
Every single one of us the devil inside
Here come the world
With the look in its eye
Future uncertain but certainly slight
Look at the faces
Listen to the bells
Its hard to believe we need a place called hell

A Guys Favorite Club
Going to a strip club tonight.
Flordia is the only place for me when it comes to the you can look but don't touch.
God how I love it so much.
One night, bottoms up, and the moneys all gone.
Triple XXX at the front door.
Sometimes it takes a big man to protect the girls.
That bouncer will knock you right to the floor.
Going to a strip club tonight.
Flordia is the only place for me when it comes to the you can look but don't touch.
God how I love it so much.
One night, bottoms up, and the moneys all gone.
All in good fun.
Sexual desires on the run.
Where's your mind as you glance.
Looky there that mans getting another lap dance.
She strips all the way down and spins around.
The perfect beauty, the perfect curves.
A figure so petite.
Going to a strip club tonight.
Flordia is the only place for me when it comes to the you can look but don't touch.
God how I love it so much.
One night, bottoms up, and the moneys all gone.
After hours, and not for kids.
Such a great time where can I begin.
With devil I'm holding hands.
Going into the vip room with certain demands.
Offers a plenty.
Time appointed stays.
Doing the nasty, behind closed curtains.
Knowing not a damn thing about this women.
Going to a strip club tonight.
Flordia is the only place for me when it comes to the you can look but don't touch.
God how I love it so much.

This Day
Sun shines on nature's face
Wind whispers bough to bough
Air fills with nectar's fragrance
Present day finds harmony
This is a sacred place
This is a holy time
Strangers meet upon a walk
Kind words exchanged as gifts
Smiles take the place of sun
Earth's brightness shows increase
Children laughing with abandon
Fleeting moments throb with life
Human spirits fill with lightness
Weary tension dissipates
Arms reach out to touch another
Touch extends to warm embrace
Love says it all in silence
A pair transforms itself to one
Past and future are released
Present gently fills with joy
Nothing further is desired
Each moment is itself complete
Welcome to a sacred place
Welcome to a holy time
