The Narrow Way
What thousands never knew the road!
What thousands hate it when 'tis known!
None but the chosen tribes of God
Will seek or choose it for their own.
A thousand ways in ruin end,
One only leads to joys on high;
By that my willing steps ascend,
Pleased with a journey to the sky.
No more I ask or hope to find
Delight or happiness below;
Sorrow may well possess the mind
That feeds where thorns and thistles grow.
The joy that fades is not for me,
I seek immortal joys above;
There glory without end shall be
The bright reward of faith and love.
Cleave to the world, ye sordid worms,
Contented lick your native dust!
But God shall fight with all his storms,
Against the idol of your trust.

Hymn XII: Come, Ye That Love the Lord
Come, ye that love the Lord,
And let your joys be known;
Join in a song with sweet accord,
While ye surround his throne:
Let those refuse to sing
Who never knew our God;
But servants of the heavenly King
May speak their joys abroad.
The God that rules on high,
That all the earth surveys
That rides upon the stormy sky,
And calms the roaring seas-
This awful God is ours,
Our Father and our love;
He will send down his heavenly powers,
To carry us above.
There we shall see his face,
And never, never sin;
There, from the rivers of his grace,
Drink endless pleasures in:
Yea, and before we rise
To that immortal state,
The thoughts of such amazing bliss
Should constant joys create.
The men of grace have found
Glory begun below;
Celestial fruit on earthly ground
From faith and hope may grow:
Then let our songs abound,
And every tear be dry;
We are marching through Immanuel's grounds
To fairer worlds on high.

Seek
Seek and you will find
the glory of the divine,
seek and you shall see
the world and all its glory,
seek and you will feel
love’s arrow pierce your heart.
Seek and whatever you seek
will one day be yours,
but you must want it enough
to seek it out and find
the hidden dreams
that lay within your mind.

The Greatest Plague
Hate consumes the people of the world like a
plague that kills. Turn to hate we do in times
where things are wrong in thine eyes. Try to
justify it by calling it what you like but in
the end it all amounts to hate. Someone attacks
the weak we go after them claiming justice but
we allow the anger to lead us away. Sorrow can
leads us to hate without a soul even realizing
it. So hate has the ulitmate power in this world
that call home. Hate is everything that does not
envelop love or happiness. We allow more hate
than love in this land. You can call it what you
like. Spite anger sorrow loss sadness jealousy
pain. They all lead down the road to hatred.
The paths may go in different ways but all in
in the same place. Being there alone without
a person to stand at your side. Without the
happiness and joys of life. You can say that
sorrow loss and sadness are not hate but when
you think about it your sorrow can turn feeling
sorrow for a person can turn to hurting another
you feel anger towards those who would not help.
Loss you blame someone or something for taking
someone away from you. Perhaps your loss can
change into seeking vengence. Sadness how could
it turn you wander but sadness it self it loss
and sorrow. When sad you are easily swayed by
one of great influence good or bad. Hate has
the power to do more to us than one can ever
think or imagine. For those who do no see it
just turn the pages back in time and all shall
be revealed then. Hate is destroying us swiftly
one day at a time. Hate is the worlds greatest
plague.

My Savior, on the Word of Truth
My Savior, on the word of truth
In earnest hope I live;
I ask for all the precious things
Thy boundless love can give.
I look for many a lesser light
About my path to shine;
But chiefly long to walk with Thee,
And only trust in Thine.
In holy expectation held,
Thy strength my heart shall stay,
For Thy right hand will never let
My trust be cast away.
Yea, Thou hast kept me near Thy feet,
In many a deadly strife,
By the stronghold of hope in Thee,
The hope of endless life.
Thou knowest that I am not blest
As Thou wouldst have me be,
Till all the peace and joy of faith
Possess my soul in Thee
And still I seek ’mid many fears,
With yearnings unexpressed,
The comforts of Thy strengthening love,
Thy soothing, settling rest.
It is not as Thou wilt with me,
Till, humbled in the dust;
I know no place in all my heart
Wherein to put my trust.
Until I find, O Lord, in Thee,
The Lowly and the Meek,
That fullness which Thy own redeemed
Go nowhere else to seek.
Then, O my Savior, on my soul,
Cast down, but not dismayed,
Still be Thy chastening, healing hand
In tender, mercy laid.
And while I wait for all Thy joys,
My yearning heart to fill,
Teach me to walk and work with Thee,
And at Thy feet sit still.

Seek & You Will Find
You been laying it on the line
Too much fat to burn
You been stuck on a course
While the world around you turns
You been out in the rain
But babe, oh the sun still shines
Well you might walk through a cloud
Seek and you will find
Seek and you will find
Its like treading on thin ice
Hot stones in your shoes
Well you know the world can blow your mind
Unless you got the guts to cut the fuse
You been out on the streets
And babe how the road does wind
Well you might look straight ahead
Seek and you will find
Seek and you will find (seek and you will find)
You been out on a limb
And so many mountains to climb
Well you just might be sitting on a rainbow, honey
Seek and you will find
Seek and you will find

Jigsaw of life
Square peice of sorrow
Round peice of happiness
Diamond peice of faith
Jagged peice of hate
Oblong peice of hope
Stepping stones
Peices of paper
Wooden blocks
Many roads to wander
Many turns to take
Many mistakes to ponder
Many joys to shed tears
Sorrow, happiness, hate, faith and hope
Fit together at times
Easier than others
Patience they say
Will win at the end of the day
Whatever your picture
Please remember
Many goes it may take
To put your picture together
Lifes jigsaw puzzle is no easy task

Faith and Hope- The true pursuit of happiness!
When stars dim up in the sky
When things seem so hard to try
When raging sea billows roll
When all seems bad and all seems cold
When giving up seems to become your goal
When stale bread is the only meal
When all options fail and there's more with to deal
Faith and Hope can make your wounds heal
Faith is the belief that it would happen
Hope is the feeling that makes it happen
When Hope is lost
It can be found
When all seems gone to the ground
Hope can still germinate this time around
And fill your heart with something special
A special feeling that someday it will get better
And guess what
No true believer has disproved this law
Things will get better when you work hard enough
When the going is tough
Be tougher
When all seems rough
Try harder
Things will get better...
Better someday.
WHen all seems lost
Trust in hope the priceless cost
to pay all the trouble and weary down to nothing
For in hope the homeless get mansions
In hope the cowards seek bravery
in hope the lonely seek love
and experience true love
For in hope the troubled seek peace
and find true happiness.
Yes...the pursuit of happiness is Hope
And in Hope we will all find joy
For if you have a Dream
Believe it for hope can make you achieve it!
And in all you need faith to retrieve it!

The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength
Joy is a fruit that will not grow
In nature's barren foil;
All we can boast, till Christ we know,
Is vanity and toil.
But where the Lord has planted grace;
And made his glories known;
There fruits of heavenly joy and peace
Are found, and there alone.
A bleeding Saviour seen by faith,
A sense of pard'ning love;
A hope that triumphs over death,
Give joys like those above.
To take a glimpse within the veil,
To know that God is mine;
Are springs of joy that never fail,
Unspeakably divine!
These are the joys which satisfy,
And sanctify the mind;
Which make the spirit mount on high,
And leave the world behind.
No more, believers, mourn your lot,
But if you are the Lord's
Resign to them that know him not,
Such joys as earth affords.

With A Little Faith
Let courage stir within your heart,
Let knowledge stay your friend,
Let wisdom from the Lord impart
What's needed till life's end...
Life's simply but a journey here,
A whistle-stop on tour,
It doesn't matter what the year,
For only God keeps score...
Let simple joys delight your soul,
Let others share your day,
Let confidence grant self-control
So you won't go astray...
Life's all we've got upon this Earth,
This world that spins in space,
Yet God has proved each life has worth,
If we but seek His face...
Let your thanksgivings make God proud,
Let kindness grow within,
Let little faith rise like a cloud
To overcome and win...
Life's truly meant for those who seek
The better part, no less,
With every single soul unique,
Their conquests to express...
By faith, by faith, by faith alone,
Believers battle on,
As if their hearts were strong as stone,
As if all doubts were gone...
Let little faith in little hearts
Transcend both good and bad,
For when each soul this world departs,
Our faith still makes God glad...

There Are Thousands And Thousands
there are thousands and thousands of poems
written everyday in this world where we, whether we like it or not,
still continue living, breathing, writing, sighing,
whatever that we do, singing, bathing, playing, mourning,
there are thousands and thousands of poems
thousands of us, doing the same boring things in this world,
you are one of us, we are us, us, us, us,
thousands, and trillions, we are us,
despite, i have my ears for you, my eyes,
all for you.

Chosen As Their Options
To be satisfied with a life one's got,
Is to be able to acknowledge mistakes made.
Whether done intentionally to do again or not.
And...
With choices and decisions to make,
To place their own footsteps with faith.
This gift given to all as observed,
Is not to seek to live it perfectly.
But to do it in the doing of that which is best,
To not repeat the beating of one's head against a wall.
Belieivng this process leads to happiness.
It doesn't for many but for a few it may.
Unless one believes a sacrificial beating of oneself,
Is the reason why they have come into possession...
Of such a wonderous gift.
And have become upset that pain with suffering,
Is what one needs to accessorize to show others...
They can flaunt what they have chosen as their options.
One never knows which road some choose to select.
And for those who have chosen a road,
That continues to go in a circle that connects...
Perhaps one day for them this will be noticed.
But to stand and watch this activity done to judge,
Should not be defended by anyone as being productive.

Thy place of refuge
Thou seek the cure of thy sorrow in evil
It will rather enhance the intensity of thy sorrow
No doubt the path of evil is very smooth
And seducing but ultimately it leads thee to ruin
But the path of righteousness,
Though full of thorns and troubles,
leads thee to greatness
And also brings thee close to God.

At The Junction....
When you are trying to give me sorrow
i don't mind
at the junction i take another direction
away from you
there is no way that sorrow goes with me
there is a wish
may that sorrow you sow follow you
wherever you may go
they are all yours
each sorrow bears your name
and they must
as i pray
follow you wherever you go
they are yours
and shall be yours forever
on my part, at the junction, where our paths depart
i have chosen
a thousand joys.

Seek & Destory
We are scanning the scene
in the city tonight
We are looking for you
to start up a fight
There is an evil feeling
in our brains
But it is nothing new
you know it drives us insane
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
There is no escape
and that is for sure
This is the end we won't take any more
Say goodbye
to the world you live in
You have always been taking
but now you're giving
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Our brains are on fire
with the feeling to kill
And it will not go away
until our dreams are fulfilled
There is only one thing
on our minds
Don't try running away
'cause you're the one we will find
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way

Hymn 117
Election sovereign and free.
Rom. 9:20-23.
Behold the potter and the clay,
He forms his vessels as he please:
Such is our God, and such are we,
The subjects of his high decrees.
[Doth not the workman's power extend
O'er all the mass, which part to choose
And mold it for a nobler end,
And which to leave for viler use?]
May not the sovereign Lord on high
Dispense his favors as he will,
Choose some to life, while others die,
And yet be just and gracious still?
[What if, to make his terror known,
He lets his patience long endure,
Suff'ring vile rebels to go on,
And seal their own destruction sure?
What if he means to show his grace,
And his electing love employs
To mark out some of mortal race,
And form them fit for heav'nly joys?]
Shall man reply against the Lord,
And call his Maker's ways unjust,
The thunder of whose dreadful word
Can crush a thousand worlds to dust?
But, O my soul! if truths so bright
Should dazzle and confound thy sight,
Yet still his written will obey,
And wait the great decisive day.
Then shall he make his justice known,
And the whole world before his throne
With joy or terror shall confess
The glory of his righteousness.

Vanity Of The Creature Sanctified
Honey though the bee prepares,
An envenomed sting he wears;
Piercing thorns a guard compose
Round the fragrant blooming rose.
Where we think to find a sweet,
Oft a painful sting we meet:
When the rose invites our eye,
We forget the thorn is nigh.
Why are thus our hopes beguiled?
Why are all our pleasures spoiled?
Why do agony and woe
From our choicest comforts grow?
Sin has been the cause of all!
'Twas not thus before the fall:
What but pain, and thorn, and sting,
From the root of sin can spring?
Now with every good we find
Vanity and grief entwined;
What we feel, or what we fear,
All our joys embitter here.
Yet, through the Redeemer's love,
These afflictions blessings prove;
He the wounding stings and thorns,
Into healing med'cines turns.
From the earth our hearts they wean,
Teach us on his arm to lean;
Urge us to a throne of grace,
Make us seek a resting place.
In the mansions of our King
Sweets abound without a sting;
Thornless there the roses blow,
And the joys unmingled flow.

You Do Not Walk Alone
you do not walk alone-for the lord is always with us.
you may travel a lonely dark road, and he is always there to guide you.
when we travel a path full of hatred and fear.
' he is always near'.
when we travel the highways and the skys above
' he is there with his love'.
when you find yourself falling and stumbling to the ground.
'turn and look around'.
he is there every step of the way-guiding and showing
us the light of day.
don't ever give up on the journey you take
for your journey may be thousands of steps
till you reach that goal-it's a wonder to behold.
the journey that i speak of-although you may not see.
is the heavenly journey' to eternity'.
