Chosen As Their Options
To be satisfied with a life one's got,
Is to be able to acknowledge mistakes made.
Whether done intentionally to do again or not.
And...
With choices and decisions to make,
To place their own footsteps with faith.
This gift given to all as observed,
Is not to seek to live it perfectly.
But to do it in the doing of that which is best,
To not repeat the beating of one's head against a wall.
Belieivng this process leads to happiness.
It doesn't for many but for a few it may.
Unless one believes a sacrificial beating of oneself,
Is the reason why they have come into possession...
Of such a wonderous gift.
And have become upset that pain with suffering,
Is what one needs to accessorize to show others...
They can flaunt what they have chosen as their options.
One never knows which road some choose to select.
And for those who have chosen a road,
That continues to go in a circle that connects...
Perhaps one day for them this will be noticed.
But to stand and watch this activity done to judge,
Should not be defended by anyone as being productive.

Disregarding One's Gift of Life
We all have made those decisions,
To live the kind of life we like.
Some have chosen to fulfill their dreams with things!
Others choose to discover life.
Seeking truth.
And what for them true happiness means.
And still there are others who prey,
For all the wrong reasons.
Leeching to please urgent needs.
And completely satisfied...
To play with life all day.
And make commitments,
To waste time at night.
We all have made those decisions,
To live the kind of life we like.
And yet there are those who despise themselves...
With needs to start arguments.
For them conflicts they wish to incite.
To peak their interests by starting fights.
And disregarding one's gift of life...
As something they've been ordained to take away.

Do Not Waste Your Patience
What can be said,
About those who make their own decisions?
Those who get upset by them,
And begin to accuse others...
For their brooding self inflicting,
Choices in life they have chosen to choose.
Nor do they appreciate their own lives they hate!
People like this blame others for their failures.
Seek to analyze who lead them into traps.
And jealous of advancements of others they are.
Especially those they use to laugh at behind their backs.
Those that now witness them shuffling along...
With long faces drawn and ambitions distant and gone.
What can be said,
About those who make their own decisions?
Those who get upset by them,
And begin to accuse others...
For their brooding self inflicting,
Choices in life they have chosen to choose.
Hating themselves and everyone around them too!
Nothing!
There is nothing anyone can possibly say or do,
For those who refuse to listen and comprehend...
Any advice that is given to them!
And empathy expressed they also ignore too!
The best decision one in this position can make...
Is to evaluate the situation,
And from this excuse creator...
Move!
Do not apologize when exiting swiftly,
To break quickly away.
Just keep on steppin'.
Move!
Do not waste your patience!

Fading Out
packing my bags and heading out on my own
making choices that will shape the future days I have to come
and I could choose the easy road but I have to be strong cause
I don't want to spend a lifetime knowing that I've chosen wrong
And it's so bittersweet these decisions I must make
throwing one choice to the wolves for the other one I make
and that itself seems wrong to me cause I am still so young
how can I choose right when my life has just begun
is it so bad to be unsure now woah ooo ooo
age is supposed to clear things up
but my future is fading out
those who are older say my mind should be made up
headed on some path to greatness but I think that's messed up
cause there's so many options and I want to try them all
but now for some strange reason my back's against the wall
and it's so bittersweet these decisions I must make
throwing one choice to the wolves for the other one I make
and that itself seems wrong to me cause I am still so young
how can I choose right when my life has just begun
is it so bad to be unsure now woah ooo ooo
age is supposed to clear things up

I Have Chosen
I have chosen your face to see,
the face that always beckons me
to come alive and recognize
all the desire inside your eyes.
I have chosen your hands to be
the hands I'll always want on me.
I come alive with every touch.
These hands have come to mean so much.
I have chosen your heart, my love
to be the heart that is just made of
all the beats that say to me
'I am beating just for thee.'
And all my choices in this life I live
have gifted me and will always give
pleasures beyond the realm of real
because of how they make me feel.

An Eternal Choice
We come into life with no choice, simply born as girls and boys.
We are born of a man and wife, through whom we enter into life,
They become Mom and Dad, teaching us what’s good and bad.
Making the early choices for us, as the people that we can trust,
To guide us in our early life, steering us from the pain and strife.
They make all the decisions too, of what we can and cannot do,
As they help us all to grow, learning the things we need to know.
Preparing children for a time, when choices are yours and mine.
They know there’s coming a day, when we’ll go a separate way,
When children leave their home, to make choices on their own.
As you live out your early days, you follow in your parent’s ways,
The choices early on in life, may not have included Jesus Christ.
When we leave that chosen path, we may invite a parent’s wrath,
In spite of your parent’s reproof, you must choose Words of Truth.
For when God’s Truth is ignored, we need to then seek The Lord.
Although from the very start, parents indeed have a critical part,
Many following their own heart, from their early ways will depart.
There is no bigger choice friend, than that of a man’s eternal end.
A choice that’s a personal one, when believing in God’s Only Son,
For the only way to eternal life, is choosing the gift of Jesus Christ.
The parents of girls and boys, can’t make a child’s eternal choice,
Even if they known the Only Way, it is a decision you must make.
No one can make for you or me, the one choice regarding eternity.
That choice in which you believe, must be made before you leave,
And only with this eternal choice, when you leave, will you rejoice.

Only If God Says Yes
Choices that we make in life
May take us far
Chances that we take tonight
May lead us into darken places
But at the end of Godly choices
Are higher dreams
But in the game of chance
Theres only a guilty wave or stream
Sometimes I don't know which road I should take
Sometimes I don't know which move I should make
But it's only if God says yes
I'll make my move
And it's only if God says yes
Then I will choose
For it's only if God would just
Bow his head
Then I will do it
Thats what I will do
I started down the right road
Only to end up wrong
The endless journey carried me so far away
From my home and family
But I'm learning I was never meant to go alone
Neither was it meant for me to go on my own no
Sometimes I don't know which road I should take
Sometimes I don't know which move I should make
I'll never go on my own
I'll never go all alone
Sometimes I don't know which road I should take
Sometimes I don't know which move I should make
But it's only if God says yes
I'll make my move
For it's only if God says yes
Then I will choose
For it's only if God would just answer me
And it's only if God would just hear my plead
And it's only if God would just bow his head
Then I will do it
That's what I will do
That's what I will do

Keep On Walking
Seems like I was always running
From someone or something
So scared what life could hold
Didn't even want to know
Each day I would stand against it
Put up my defences
Wouldn't let nobody inside
Then you walking in my life
[CHORUS:]
Your love is
All I know
Never let you go
Baby with you
I choose my road
All my life
You're the reason why
Baby with you
I walk that road
Now nothing can defeat me
Knowing you complete me
You make me
Stronger every day
You lead me all the way
Anything you wanna do
I'll be there beside you
As long as
You don't leave
My dreams are guaranteed
[Repeat chorus]
Never let you go
Baby with you
I choose my road
All my life
You're the reason why
Baby with you
I walk that road

Where I'm In FAITH!
Within a place that creates completeness in oneself,
a place that needs no obstacles,
a place that needs positive reaction,
negative resolution, and stressful elimination:
powers within oneself to have faith
in the faith G-d has for me.
Seeking a miracle is a waste of my time
for the miracles that come to my life
are truly the miracles of creation,
creation of a strong black woman
who can make all things happen,
who can provide for her family,
who can live without the idea of dying
due to destruction seen before her.
I am a miracle in itself as are you,
our faith in ourselves will benefit us
more than the faith we have in what can be done by prayer;
having faith in what we can do to make our prayers reality,
many of our questions have answers,
having faith, and the courage to know the answers are a given,
we are from the breath of the almighty,
we are the world, we are what he has faith in.
Looking for an easy fix is the thought of an addict,
for I am not an addict for life, I am a solution for living.
Look within my eyes and see the miracle of creation,
copyrighted by God himself,
the creation of perfection in his eyes;
Life was given to us as a gift, as a lesson,
a learning experience
with that gift
we were given the ability to survive,
some survive some just live;
I am a survivor, a creation that makes me full,
full of complete joy for I am a gift to this world,
to myself, to nature, as the world,
and nature is a gift to me;
I am a child of God
with that I know my prayers have answers,
before I ask he gives,
he gives me the ability to be the strength
that you seek,
the power that you need,
the fullness of the empty glass,
the waters that flow, the air that blows,
the rain that pours, the heat that warms
I am a miracle, as are you,
see within your reflection
as your creator seen when he gave you life,
be strong, don’t blame, don’t worry,
do all that you can to make your life the best you can
for the faith that he has in you
can never be measured by numbers
the faith he has is you is much greater
than the faith you have in him,
for he is the almighty,
you are simply the creation!

Common Denominator
You do the math.
A selected lifestyle,
Continuing to upset...
The very same people,
Who have chosen that life to accept...
With little done to improve what displeases
Are vocal with their pities weeped.
Never have they been given looks of disrespect,
From those they rejected,
As being less and many steps below them.
No one they dejected,
Felt of themselves better off than the rest.
And if observed,
It would appear those upset...
Direct their eyes upon those who have chosen happiness,
As their common denominator...
Over bling and shiny things to impress.

Listening To My Father's Wishes
Never will I accept or believe,
A truth that keeps fear within reach...
Is a reality I will choose to live.
To feel hunted with a haunting,
As if I am a fugitive.
Nor will I find it my duty to seek a weekly dosage...
Of a forgiveness bestowed if I followed on a path,
That releases me of guilt if I professed sins committed.
To feel free again to repeat,
The moment a new week begins.
But I do and will acknowledge,
A gift of life I have been given.
And if I live my life in the making of mistakes...
The Creator who has made it all possible,
Will know immediately how to correct my efforts.
With a direct affecting in my heart to make known,
The path that I travel is not journeyed alone!
If I feared with tears and those obstacles that appear,
What progress will I make to appreciate this experience?
Listening to my Creator's wishes,
Is all I need to condone to live a life my Crerator owns.

I Suspect
I suspect...
You are the only one who knows,
What you are doing.
And I suspect,
You also choose the way you feel,
When this you do.
Whether that color is bright,
Sunny and yellow mellow.
Or royal blue to appear as you do,
In the dumps with clouds gray...
That appear to be near you to subdue.
I suspect...
Any cheerfulness you get,
Comes from your chasing of rainbows.
After your eyes have dropped rain...
From many tears you've wept.
With no bucket of gold,
At the end of those chased rainbows.
I suspect...
The happiness I have chosen,
Makes you upset.
Because I wont let you,
Lead my parade...
With a showering done,
Of a negligence you wish to pour on me.
And this I will not accept,
To be in a darkened blackness on bended knees.
Not me!
You wont find me trying to please your disrespect.
I'm on the go and I am green.
Keeping my mind opened,
To experience refreshing beneficial scenes.
Romancing an agony?
You will not find yourself doing that here with me.
I suspect...
There is a controlling of me you wish to do.
In a closeness together...
I will not allow us to get.
Or you attempt to pursue.
And I suspect you have a selfishness.
Since only those things you wish to do...
Disregards what my wishes are with much disrespect.
Yes.
I've noticed that about you too.
And I suspect...
The happiness I have chosen,
Makes you quite upset.
Because I wont let you,
Lead my parade to redirect.
And I suspect,
You are afraid...
I don't need you to make my decisions.
And this you are correct.
I wont live a negativity...
As you do at your best.
I suspect...
You don't know me,
As well as you think you do.
I suspect you believed,
For you I'd be a fool.
Why should I want that kind of life with you?

Christ Still Redeems
Short and abrupt they seem to be; almost miserable is what it seems,
Filled with discontent and a need, yet they go on with empty dreams.
Searching alone to fill their need, they fall into many evil schemes,
But look to your Eternal needs, and you’ll find Christ still redeems.
This life is filled with vanity, chasing dreams that just won’t be,
Pursuing dreams of vanity, your heart and life will remain empty.
But Christ came that we may have life, and have it more abundantly,
Yes He gives you life abundantly, step out in faith and you will see.
God knows your needs, it is true, and it doesn’t matter what you do,
Seek first God’s Kingdom and all of your needs will be given to you,
Once you’re in Christ old things fade, and He makes all things new,
He’s coming back to take you to a new place He’s prepared for you.
Many are walking the empty and deceptive road of self gratification,
Although satisfied for a time, they will face eternal condemnation.
There is another road to select, with a sure everlasting foundation,
This road is free of man’s deception and it leads to God’s Salvation.
Busy at life taking care of needs, I didn’t need God, so it seemed,
But life can be quite empty indeed, trying to be one who’s esteemed.
Now that I’m saved and doing God’s deeds, never once had I dreamed,
That I would be attempting to lead you to be one of God’s Redeemed.
Nothing To Do With Their Active Involvement
A 'knowing' takes observation.
With a growing of a comprehension,
That connects with effectiveness.
Many have chosen to accept this,
As the main ingredient to their happiness.
Those affected by what is observed,
But reject the obvious as cause and reason...
Live in spaces they believe invisible.
With a series or excuses and denials,
From them sent to dispute a truth meant.
And a clarity that has been heaven sent?
Well...
Folks can not perceive in their daily routines,
Truth like this breaks through walls of cement.
There is something that can be said,
About those who try to escape...
From what they dread.
And it is all in their heads...
Cushioned by delusion,
That the appearance of what is...
Isn't for them to be experienced.
Nor Has it 'anything' or nothing at all,
To do with their active involvement.
And as long as they inhibit and reside within it,
Participating...
There is a belief they keep pieces of it concealed.
And 'this' is believed by those with this perception,
They alone have choices
To pick and choose their own realities.

God Will Judge
I came upon a fork in the road
And I didn't know which path to take
Should I take the path most traveled upon
As that decision I just have to make.
So I ponder the decision for a while
Till an outcome came to my mind
I would take the one that was less traveled
And truthfully I still know not why.
I started my journey down that path
As down that road I began to walk
I then began to think the thoughts to myself
And also to myself I began to talk.
I came upon two men and a woman arguing
Screaming back and forth about hate and love
I bowed my head and then I walked away
And I said to them, one day GOD he will judge.
I walked down the road a little bit further
Then I noticed water upon the path
It formed a pond which became my mirror
Then I saw myself looking in, so I had to laugh.
I looked so sad and I look so confused
As at first I didn't think that it was me
But they say with age comes wisdom and sadness
So maybe that really was myself looking back at me.
I continued my journey down the path
Just seeing were it was going to take me next
Or will the road just end like how it began
So later in the day I might sit back and reflect.
I then came across some people stealing and fighting
While an innocent man was screaming that's enough
Then like cowards I saw them all just run away
Then I said to the innocent, one day GOD he will judge.
So I continued my journey down that path
Out of curiosity to see where It would take me then
But it took me back to that same fork in the road
My ending was also where my journey did begin.
Then suddenly I had awaken from that dream
My journey was really a dream that I just had
And was it a dream about my very own circle of life
Especially my pain and suffering and what made me sad.
So I sat up in my bed and started reflecting back
Into my soul which is full of sadness of love
I think the dream was telling me do not ever forget
And that also in time to all, GOD He will judge.

The Road Less Traveled
(Buddy Brock/Dean Dillion)
There's a road a winding road that never ends
Full of curves lessons learned at every bend
Goin's rough unlike the straight and narrow
It's for those who go against the grain
Have no fear dare to dream of a change live to march to the beat of a
different drummer
And it all might come together
And it all might unraveled
On the road less traveled
For the road less traveled ain't for the faint of heart
For those who choose to play it safe and never stray too far
Me I want to live my life and one day leave my mark
And it all might come together
And it all come unraveled
On the road less traveled
I've chosen a pathway I may not endure
One thing's for certain nothing for sure
And it all might come together
And it all might come unraveled
On the road less traveled
For the road less traveled ain't for the faint of heart
For those who choose to play it safe and never stray too far
Me I want to live my life and one day leave my mark
And it all might come together
And it all come unraveled
On the road less traveled
There's a road winding road that never ends

True Pain
The darkness overwhelms my soul
with a power so great you could never know
tell me why was i chosen,
chosen to bare this gift
this ultimate curse
you look at me, and what do you see
nothing, and that's whats hurt
i feel the flesh on my body being burnt
ohh the pain yea the pain
so great so marvelous
pain you could never know
what i live through every day
forever stuck in the dark
forever in pain
all when you're asleep
i gaze in your eyes too take your life
cause you get to sleep and i don't
i hear your voices as you complain
about every petty thing
but i don't so you don't hear me
and then you fall asleep
and feel good
whiles the battle in my mind continues
i have prayed for better days and have wandered
if the any as i walk through the dark
i am he
he is me
I AM PAIN...

One Road
One road to happiness
One road to loneliness
The devils hand or the promised land
Which one will you choose
Life is a strange thing
It can make you happy or sad
Theres two roads that you can take
The good one or the bad
One road to happiness
One road to loneliness
The devils hand or the promised land
Which one will you choose
You may take the long road
Lots of people do
But you will find no peace of mind
Till jesus comes to you
One road to happiness
One road to loneliness
The devils hand or the promised land
Which one will you choose
If you take the bad road ,you will never see
The happiness that you would find through all eternity
One road to happiness
One road to loneliness
The devils hand or the promised land
Which one will you choose
One road to happiness
One road to loneliness
The devils hand or the promised land
Which one will you choose

I Will Carry You
Michael w. smith/ eric laughlin
We were never meant to walk this road alone. lets begin to stand in the gap for one another.
Sometimes I wonder if my beating heart has a reason
The thought of breathing only takes my breath away
Ive spent so many nights wrestling with this feeling
Do I have the strength to make it through the day
But I was never meant
To walk this road alone
I can always trust you
When you say
I will carry you
Be your strength
And pull you through
Reach for me
And take my hand
We will pray
And we will stand
In a world
Crying out for peace
Let your heart be strong
For when I am weak
You will carry me
Sometimes you wonder if the road youre on has a reason
Its hard to go on when you just dont know
We can shoulder all the weight of life between us
Until the fear of what we cannot see is gone
cause we were never meant
To walk this road alone
We are bound together
When we say...
