His Dialogue Along The Stairs Watching Love Pass Him By...

i simply watch love
pass me by

and till this day

i regret merely watching
love pass me by

i have not sinned
and i am not as happy

as those who sinned
and were so easily forgiven

Pass This Way

We shall not pass this way again
Spoke the old man to his friend
For many lives, we have known
And many children, we've seen grown.
As you walk a path but one time
And though it seems the same
Every road has a different meaning
And every teardrop, a different pain.
We have sinned and saw sin
We have hated and we we had friends
But now we shall all be judged,
For when we hated, should we have loved.
Should we had fought, when we fled
Should we had watched when we had sinned
Should we had cried when we bleed,
I don't know, for we shall not come again.
When we go through life, this one time
We should do the best that we could
Live a life, and be its pride,
And be ready for judgement, when we die.
You pass this way but one time
You live a life but one time
You can help a soul but one time,
And one time, is all that is asked.
So when you pass this way again
Never be in a hurry when you walk by
Be you a woman or be you a man,
It never ever hurts, to only but try.

Criminal

Ive been a bad bad girl,
Ive been careless with a delicate man.
And its a sad sad world,
When a girl can break a boy
Just because she can.
Dont you tell me to deny it,
Ive done wrong and I want to
Suffer for my sins.
Ive come to you cause I need
Guidance to be true
And I just dont know where I can begin.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.
Heaven help me for the way I am.
Save me from these evil deeds.
Before I get them done.
I know tomorrow brings the consequence
At hand.
But I keep livin this day like
The next will never come.
Oh, help me, but dont tell me
To deny it.
Ive got to cleanse myself.
Of all these lies till Im good
Enough for him.
Ive got a lot to lose and im
Bettin high
So Im beggin you before it ends
Just tell me where to begin.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.
Let me know the way
Before theres hell to pay.
Give me room to lay the law and let me go.
Ive got to make a play
To make my lover stay
So, what would an angel say?
cause the devil wants to know.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.

Holy Sonnet XI: Spit In My Face You Jews, And Pierce My Side

Spit in my face you Jews, and pierce my side,
Buffet, and scoff, scourge, and crucify me,
For I have sinned, and sinned, and only he
Who could do no iniquity hath died:
But by my death can not be satisfied
My sins, which pass the Jews' impiety:
They killed once an inglorious man, but I
Crucify him daily, being now glorified.
Oh let me, then, his strange love still admire:
Kings pardon, but he bore our punishment.
And Jacob came clothed in vile harsh attire
But to supplant, and with gainful intent:
God clothed himself in vile man's flesh, that so
He might be weak enough to suffer woe.

I Was a Child and She Was a Child

I was a child and she was a child.
We were such Innocence.
How could we have sinned?

You're the sinner!
You're the monster!
You kill-

You crushed the Womb,
killing the fetus named Love.
Love didn't even have a chance to live.

Our Sweet Love- How could you kill such a beautiful thing?
We were such Innocence
Love was such Innocence

We were punished- When it was you who sinned-

I have sinned;
Curses are in heaps.
I’ve been sinned.

Mary Jane

Forgive me father for I have sinned
Im a child of the air, Im a witch of the wind
And Im still awake... mary jane
From the earth, up through the trees
I can hear her calling me
Her voice rides on the breeze
Oh, its haunting me
No, I cant get away
No, theres no escape
If I know Im going crazy
I must not be insane
Chorus:
Beware my friends, as you pass by
As you are now so once was i
As I am now so you must be
Prepare my friends to follow me
Forgive me father for I have sinned
Im a child of the air, Im a witch of the wind
Fingers gripped around my brain
No control, my mind is lame
Im in the astral plane, and Ill never be the same
Never, never, never, never, never, never
Never, never, never
Repeat chorus
It hurts so bad I cant breathe
Prepare to follow me

A Love without a Song

A Love without a Song
By: Adam M. Snow

I humble not for I but to wake again
Even though I may have sinned,
I've sinned for you, not for I.
I've loved no one but myself.
I dream of no one but I.

But it's you I see at night.
It is you my reflection choose,
Not your ghost for my sake but I.

But I humble not for I and not for you;
I humble without saying, an unjust love.
I see what of the world behind us.
I see an unjust life of eternal bliss,
A love without a song;
I see the forever us.

I humble now and forever among all things.
Until I see again, I am blind to you.
Until my time of death draws near
and yours as well,
We to be drowned upon sorrow, forevermore.

Why Must This Be

OH WHY MUST THIS BE

Mine eyes bleed

With the sorrow of yesterday

Mine heart breaks

At dawns breaking grace

Mine arms tremble

As thine leaves me with broken heart

Mine mind seeks

To calm the chaos of thoughts

I can no longer see thee

I can no longer share the dawn with thee

I can no longer hold thee in my arms

Oh why must this be?

Have I sinned to make thee depart from these arms?

Have I sinned to make thee break my heart in two?

Have I sinned to make thee tarnish our future blue?

Oh why must this be?

For I am still madly in love with thee

I say unto thee take my heart

For now it is forever yours

Sonnet VII

All love is seen to fade and pass away.
When soul blends body by most subtle art,
I am the body, you the better part.
But O my well-loved soul, why did you stray ?

Why can't I always swoon with pleasure in
Your arms? My love, my better part, my soul,
O rescue me from drowning, even though
I know so well how badly I have sinned.

Dear friend, I sense there's something in the air
Of hunger lost. And if at last we meet
Again, please don't be cold, remote, discreet.

I am afraid our long concealed affair
Is willed to play out with a formal grace,
Both kind and cruel, never commonplace.

Loves Got Me In Triangles

Love has got me in triangles
Love cant pass me by
Love has got me in triangles
Love cant pass me by
Gold for friday, work all day
Silver melts your saturday
Playing love is going to the top, bop
Being in the same platoon
Playing love with same balloons
Playing with the same old face
Love triangles
Love cant pass me by
Love toblerones

All Things Must Pass

Sunrise doesnt last all morning
A cloudburst doesnt last all day
Seems my love is up and has left you with no warning
Its not always going to be this grey
All things must pass
All things must pass away
Sunset doesnt last all evening
A mind can blow those clouds away
After all this, my love is up and must be leaving
Its not always going to be this grey
All things must pass
All things must pass away
All things must pass
None of lifes strings can last
So, I must be on my way
And face another day
Now the darkness only stays the night-time
In the morning it will fade away
Daylight is good at arriving at the right time
Its not always going to be this grey
All things must pass
All things must pass away
All things must pass
All things must pass away

Full Of Faith!

And it came to pass that a certain man
Read the Word of God and then full of faith
Created something new...
He created something brand new...
He created a new universe...

Out of nothing but faith, there it was before him,
Just a bubble before his face...
He let it grow larger and larger.
It almost filled his room...
Come with me, he told it.
He led it outside into the garden.
Grow bigger, he said... and it grew bigger...
Let no other human see it, he said.
It became invisible to humans.

Let there be me within it, he said.
With all the physical needs supplied, he said.
Oxygen, food, drink to drink and so on... he said...
Then he disappeared into the new universe...
Let there be spirits, living spirits, he said.
Let them appear as with human form, he said.
Let them fall in love with each other, he said
And from their love create newborn baby spirits, he said
And such commands came to pass...

The spirits were immortal, undying, yet creating
And centuries passed by, for him, for them...
Still protected by his faith, thinking all things possible,
He determined that he would become a spirit, too.
Let me become... he said...
Yet he was stopped from speaking the rest...

He heard a powerful voice... Who are you? he asked...

I am the God of all creation, the Lord said.

Wow! said the mortal man, immediately humbled.
Your Word helped me create this place! he said.
Look at my spirit beings in love with life! he said.

Yes, I know each and every one of them, said the Lord.

Why do you reveal yourself now? asked the man.

You cannot become a spirit... warned the Lord.
You are a mortal, soon to die, said the Lord.
I want you to give all this up, said the Lord...
Return home, where I can save you, said the Lord.
For as a mortal, you have sinned, warned the Lord.
You need to be forgiven, explained the Lord.
Then I can grant you eternal life in Jesus, said the Lord.

Wow! I understand, replied the repentant man.
You let me see all this according to my faith, he said.
Did I really need to create all this? he asked.

Yes, you did, for your faith is so powerful, said the Lord.
It is because I told you it was so, the Lord explained.
You trusted my Word, therefore trust Me now, He said...
Once forgiven, you can be baptised, said God,
Baptised into eternal life as I promised...

Can these spirit beings continue unharmed? the man asked.

Yes, for they know not sin, they never will, God said.

Oh, that's wonderful... the man replied...
Take me home, he asked of the Lord...
And God took him home, so he could believe the Gospel.

As it is written, what shall it profit a man
To gain the whole world and yet lose his own soul?

Water Runs Dry

We don't even talk anymore
And we don't even know what we argue about
Don't even say I love you no more
Cause sayin' how we feel is no longer allowed
Some people will work things out
And some just don't know how to change

Let's don't wait till the water runs dry
We might watch our whole lives pass us by
Let's don't wait till the water runs dry
We'll make the biggest mistake of our lives
Don't do it baby

Now they can see the tears in our eyes
But we deny the pain that lies deep in our hearts
Well maybe that's a pain we can't hide
Cause everybody knows that we're both torn apart
Why do we hurt each other
Why do we push love away

Let's don't wait till the water runs dry
We might watch our whole lives pass us by
Let's don't wait till the water runs dry
We'll make the biggest mistake of our lives
Don't do it baby

One Of The Unfair Sex

She stood at the ticket-seller's
Serenely removing her glove,
While hundreds of strugglers and yellers,
And some that were good at a shove,
Were clustered behind her like bats in
a cave and unwilling to speak their love.

At night she still stood at that window
Endeavoring her money to reach;
The crowds right and left, how they sinned-O,
How dreadfully sinned in their speech!
Ten miles either way they extended
their lines, the historians teach.

She stands there to-day-legislation
Has failed to remove her. The trains
No longer pull up at that station;
And over the ghastly remains
Of the army that waited and died of
old age fall the snows and the rains.

The Father's Sins

I won’t bear your burden
And I’ll never share your fate
Prepare yourself to rot inside
The tomb that you create
Your web of lies will strangle you
But cannot shroud your crime
You’ve escaped judgement until now
But soon you’ll serve your time

Oh, father you have sinned
Confess and purge your soul
The torture wheel that you have built has spun out of control
Oh, father you have sinned
Escape your purgatory
I’ll never let the father’s sins cast shadows over me.

A Litany

A soft touch in the drought like brushing fire,
Pressed upon the skin, upon desire,
Providing an all encompassing flame
From her and her slender and fragile frame.
How my mind does want of her to be pinned.
I must be blown in the hurricane wind.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Eager am I to partake in the feast,
Saving no cuisine, savoring at least
As much is offered, yet asking for more,
Starving sense with excess, the stomach's roar,
And my strong appetite does not rescind.
My gullet grows now to never be thinned.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

My rapacious pursuit for some power
Consumes my consciousness in this hour.
I pine for, I long for more than I need:
A house of gold and the money tree's seed.
My avarice and covetousness twinned
To keep my arrogance under-chagrined.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

I have had a listless heart. Without bliss!
I have filled it with emptiness and this,
By my acts of fool-hardy omission,
Has led all my joys to split in fission.
Nothing, my companion, so thick-skinned
Is a force unmovable, unreckoned.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Uncontrolled are my feelings and they rage,
Ravishing better judgment in rampage.
Self-destruction, violence manifests.
Like sickness vile in its sweep, it mass infects,
Spreading swiftly ev'ry single second
When its foul reign is beseeched and beckoned.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Deprive others—I must—so I may take.
With belligerent thievery I make
My sorrow to have someone else's good,
To proclaim, "Mine! " though another man should,
But, in my ears, the pleas have been deafened,
And no cries but mine will I have listened.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Yet, for me ways, my many grievances,
I have learned through process of acceptance
That what I have done become who I am—
I am proud of myself though I be damned,
But I will confess my wrongs when questioned.
Lie? I will not! Why chose to be burdened?
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Forgive Me Lord

Make my world a better place to be
Remove these chains and set me free
Give my life one reason to begin
Forgive me lord for I have sinned
Take my hand and lead me as you choose
It seems we aint got much to lose
Give this place one season without shame
Forgive me lord Ive sinned again
I been down on my luck, as a matter of fact
Ive even been chaste
Drifting along, singing a song
For the whole human race
I been caught in the act, as a matter of fact
Im even well known
Floating on by with a laugh and a sigh
On the road that leads home
I got no more time left to roam, if you love me
Take this world and build it as you please
With a little help from the likes of me
Keep it safe from harm and make it pure
Forgive the rich and save the poor
Like the dust on the wind Ive been taken again by my foolish pride
Drifting along, singing a song, thats how I get by
I been caught in the act, as a matter of fact Ive even been chased
Floating on by with a laugh and a sigh for the whole human race
I got no more time left to waste, if you love me
Make my world a better place to be
Remove these chains and set me free
Give my face a different point of view
Forgive us lord if we run to you
If you love me
Make my world a better place to be

The Men Who Live It Down

I have sinned, like others, blindly, without thought and without fear,
And my best friends say it kindly, ‘You should go away from here.’
Shall I fly the paltry spirit of a narrow little town,
While the battle-drums are beating for the men who live it down?
Down the street where all men know me I can walk with level eyes,
They believe the lies about me, they can sneer, but I despise.
From my black and bitter childhood, from my dull and joyless youth,
It is I who—it is I who—I and Christ who know the truth!

I have sinned, but as a man might; like a man I’ll rise again
From long nights of mental torture, from long days of care and pain.
Pass me by with eyes averted, with a shrug or with a frown,
But their heads shall bow in ashes long ere my head shall go down!

Ah! the curs, who dare not trespass, quick to sneer and quick to blame;
But the wider world is kinder—it takes long to damn a name.
There’s a heart that’s worth a million and a head that’s worth a crown,
And the flash of bright eyes sometimes for the men who live it down.

There’s a hand-grip close and silent, firm in trust and sympathy,
Sends the old thrill through my being, sends the old hopes up in me.
There is one who’ll stand beside me when the screen is round my bed,
And the godly pass their stricture on the sinner who is dead.

When the crape is round my picture and my mad, wild spirit’s free—
And you realise how little you have ever known of me
When the worst is said and printed by the coward and the clown,
Then, I trust, a friend might answer—‘There lies one who lived it down.’
