Nor can the Apostle mean that Eve only sinned; or that she only was Deceived, for if Adam sinned willfully and knowingly, he became the greater Transgressor.

Born In Original Sin Sentence

didn't want to miss a chance schemes
old never let any chance go by themes
but some policy chances prove risky

was Adam angry first with Eve
who then put blame on sneaky snake
Eve was deceived so blame Adam

it was man Adam who deliberately sinned
Adam knew what he was choice dice doing
not like poor Eve who was conned deceived

neither took responsibility for their actions
if they had face copped up perhaps we would
have escaped born in original sin sentence?

Adam And Eve

God created the first man, Adam,
out of the dust of the ground
He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life,
but for Adam there was no helpmate found

So God put Adam into a deep sleep
and made a woman out of a rib of the man
In The Garden of Eden everything was perfect
until they ate the fruit which God had banned

God told Adam and Eve they could eat
from every tree of the garden except one
Then came along the serpent and tempted Eve
and the first sin to enter the world was done

Ever since that day that sin entered the world
everyone has sinned and needs a savior
That is the reason God sent his son to die for us
and only through faith in Christ is salvation's door

Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Romans 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 10: 9 I am the door, by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture.

A Love without a Song

A Love without a Song
By: Adam M. Snow

I humble not for I but to wake again
Even though I may have sinned,
I've sinned for you, not for I.
I've loved no one but myself.
I dream of no one but I.

But it's you I see at night.
It is you my reflection choose,
Not your ghost for my sake but I.

But I humble not for I and not for you;
I humble without saying, an unjust love.
I see what of the world behind us.
I see an unjust life of eternal bliss,
A love without a song;
I see the forever us.

I humble now and forever among all things.
Until I see again, I am blind to you.
Until my time of death draws near
and yours as well,
We to be drowned upon sorrow, forevermore.

Sins burn

I have sinned;
Curses are in heaps.
I’ve been sinned.
Revenges are in store.
Either way I burn myself

His Dialogue Along The Stairs Watching Love Pass Him By...

i simply watch love
pass me by

and till this day

i regret merely watching
love pass me by

i have not sinned
and i am not as happy

as those who sinned
and were so easily forgiven

The doctrine of original sin claims that all men sinned in Adam; but whether they did or whether it is merely a fact that all men sin does not basically affect the problem of suffering.

Criminal

Ive been a bad bad girl,
Ive been careless with a delicate man.
And its a sad sad world,
When a girl can break a boy
Just because she can.
Dont you tell me to deny it,
Ive done wrong and I want to
Suffer for my sins.
Ive come to you cause I need
Guidance to be true
And I just dont know where I can begin.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.
Heaven help me for the way I am.
Save me from these evil deeds.
Before I get them done.
I know tomorrow brings the consequence
At hand.
But I keep livin this day like
The next will never come.
Oh, help me, but dont tell me
To deny it.
Ive got to cleanse myself.
Of all these lies till Im good
Enough for him.
Ive got a lot to lose and im
Bettin high
So Im beggin you before it ends
Just tell me where to begin.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.
Let me know the way
Before theres hell to pay.
Give me room to lay the law and let me go.
Ive got to make a play
To make my lover stay
So, what would an angel say?
cause the devil wants to know.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.

The Father's Sins

I won’t bear your burden
And I’ll never share your fate
Prepare yourself to rot inside
The tomb that you create
Your web of lies will strangle you
But cannot shroud your crime
You’ve escaped judgement until now
But soon you’ll serve your time

Oh, father you have sinned
Confess and purge your soul
The torture wheel that you have built has spun out of control
Oh, father you have sinned
Escape your purgatory
I’ll never let the father’s sins cast shadows over me.

A Litany

A soft touch in the drought like brushing fire,
Pressed upon the skin, upon desire,
Providing an all encompassing flame
From her and her slender and fragile frame.
How my mind does want of her to be pinned.
I must be blown in the hurricane wind.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Eager am I to partake in the feast,
Saving no cuisine, savoring at least
As much is offered, yet asking for more,
Starving sense with excess, the stomach's roar,
And my strong appetite does not rescind.
My gullet grows now to never be thinned.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

My rapacious pursuit for some power
Consumes my consciousness in this hour.
I pine for, I long for more than I need:
A house of gold and the money tree's seed.
My avarice and covetousness twinned
To keep my arrogance under-chagrined.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

I have had a listless heart. Without bliss!
I have filled it with emptiness and this,
By my acts of fool-hardy omission,
Has led all my joys to split in fission.
Nothing, my companion, so thick-skinned
Is a force unmovable, unreckoned.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Uncontrolled are my feelings and they rage,
Ravishing better judgment in rampage.
Self-destruction, violence manifests.
Like sickness vile in its sweep, it mass infects,
Spreading swiftly ev'ry single second
When its foul reign is beseeched and beckoned.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Deprive others—I must—so I may take.
With belligerent thievery I make
My sorrow to have someone else's good,
To proclaim, "Mine! " though another man should,
But, in my ears, the pleas have been deafened,
And no cries but mine will I have listened.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Yet, for me ways, my many grievances,
I have learned through process of acceptance
That what I have done become who I am—
I am proud of myself though I be damned,
But I will confess my wrongs when questioned.
Lie? I will not! Why chose to be burdened?
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Why Must This Be

OH WHY MUST THIS BE

Mine eyes bleed

With the sorrow of yesterday

Mine heart breaks

At dawns breaking grace

Mine arms tremble

As thine leaves me with broken heart

Mine mind seeks

To calm the chaos of thoughts

I can no longer see thee

I can no longer share the dawn with thee

I can no longer hold thee in my arms

Oh why must this be?

Have I sinned to make thee depart from these arms?

Have I sinned to make thee break my heart in two?

Have I sinned to make thee tarnish our future blue?

Oh why must this be?

For I am still madly in love with thee

I say unto thee take my heart

For now it is forever yours

I Was a Child and She Was a Child

I was a child and she was a child.
We were such Innocence.
How could we have sinned?

You're the sinner!
You're the monster!
You kill-

You crushed the Womb,
killing the fetus named Love.
Love didn't even have a chance to live.

Our Sweet Love- How could you kill such a beautiful thing?
We were such Innocence
Love was such Innocence

We were punished- When it was you who sinned-

No Fortune

Written by gerry beckley, 1979
Found on silent letter.
We were dancin in the middle
We could hardly hold our heads up
I think we had too much to drink
I remember wondering what theyd think
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da
We were thinkin bout the future
We were trying not to laugh
Then you made me cry instead
I remember wishing I was dead
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da
No fortune pays for wounds like these
Its been too long a time now please
Just say you will, we can call it a day
Its not as though we aint sinned
Its just a game we all play
There was nothing to win
Well Im coming home lady
Im your homecoming man
Trying hard to stand the rain
Gettin back on my feet again
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da
No fortune pays for wounds like these
Its been too long a time now please
Just say you will, we can call it a day
Its not as though we aint sinned
Its just a game we all play
There was nothing to win
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da
No fortune pays for wounds like these
Its been too long a time now please
Just say you will, we can call it a day

Its just a game we all play

Holy Sonnet XI: Spit In My Face You Jews, And Pierce My Side

Spit in my face you Jews, and pierce my side,
Buffet, and scoff, scourge, and crucify me,
For I have sinned, and sinned, and only he
Who could do no iniquity hath died:
But by my death can not be satisfied
My sins, which pass the Jews' impiety:
They killed once an inglorious man, but I
Crucify him daily, being now glorified.
Oh let me, then, his strange love still admire:
Kings pardon, but he bore our punishment.
And Jacob came clothed in vile harsh attire
But to supplant, and with gainful intent:
God clothed himself in vile man's flesh, that so
He might be weak enough to suffer woe.

There was a man and a woman

i
There was a man and a woman
Who sinned.
Then did the man heap the punishment
All upon the head of her,
And went away gaily.

ii

There was a man and a woman
Who sinned.
And the man stood with her.
As upon her head, so upon his,
Fell blow and blow,
And all people screaming, "Fool!"
He was a brave heart.

iii

He was a brave heart.
Would you speak with him, friend?
Well, he is dead,
And there went your opportunity.
Let it be your grief
That he is dead
And your opportunity gone;
For, in that, you were a coward.

One Of The Unfair Sex

She stood at the ticket-seller's
Serenely removing her glove,
While hundreds of strugglers and yellers,
And some that were good at a shove,
Were clustered behind her like bats in
a cave and unwilling to speak their love.

At night she still stood at that window
Endeavoring her money to reach;
The crowds right and left, how they sinned-O,
How dreadfully sinned in their speech!
Ten miles either way they extended
their lines, the historians teach.

She stands there to-day-legislation
Has failed to remove her. The trains
No longer pull up at that station;
And over the ghastly remains
Of the army that waited and died of
old age fall the snows and the rains.

Mary Jane

Forgive me father for I have sinned
Im a child of the air, Im a witch of the wind
And Im still awake... mary jane
From the earth, up through the trees
I can hear her calling me
Her voice rides on the breeze
Oh, its haunting me
No, I cant get away
No, theres no escape
If I know Im going crazy
I must not be insane
Chorus:
Beware my friends, as you pass by
As you are now so once was i
As I am now so you must be
Prepare my friends to follow me
Forgive me father for I have sinned
Im a child of the air, Im a witch of the wind
Fingers gripped around my brain
No control, my mind is lame
Im in the astral plane, and Ill never be the same
Never, never, never, never, never, never
Never, never, never
Repeat chorus
It hurts so bad I cant breathe
Prepare to follow me

Broken Angel

i smile a fake smile
so no one can actually see
that my pain is over whelming
that i could never leave

if any one were to ask,
i would have to say
i'm a broken angel
or i could fly away

no one has ever noticed
my eyes are always filled with tears
my heart is always breaking
and i don't want to be here

i don't think i'm an angel
for i don't believe in it
but in some ways i'm a BROKEN angel
hoping to fly away

i sperad my wings
i try to fly
but my hope
has already died

i let tears fall
i yell to someone
i reach out my hand
i run down the hall

no one chases after me
no one screams my name
i'll try to fly
if my wings don't burn

i'm a broken angel
i WANT to fly away

this broken angel
has almost died

i can't go to heaven
i've sinned too much
i can't go to hell
i've sinned not enough

i'm a broken angel
i need to fly
THIS broken angel
has pretty much died

Let Bygone Be Bygones

To those i have sinned against of your forgiveness i beg
And you who have sinned against me you i do forgive
For what time I've got left i wish for peace with myself
Or in other words i want to live and let live.

Let bygones be bygone the past is the past
For my sins against others in karma i pay
And in the written word i now apologize
To all of those offended by me in some way.

I just want to live out what time I've got left
At peace with the World and with myself at peace
Far beyond the ego there is peace of soul
From self doubt, guilt and blame i just wish for release

And to live and let live and forget and forgive
And try to bring peace to my soul now in strife
And make peace with others and make peace with myself
I just want to enjoy the twilight of my life.
