Sins burn

I have sinned;
Curses are in heaps.
I’ve been sinned.
Revenges are in store.
Either way I burn myself

His Dialogue Along The Stairs Watching Love Pass Him By...

i simply watch love
pass me by

and till this day

i regret merely watching
love pass me by

i have not sinned
and i am not as happy

as those who sinned
and were so easily forgiven

Broken Angel

i smile a fake smile
so no one can actually see
that my pain is over whelming
that i could never leave

if any one were to ask,
i would have to say
i'm a broken angel
or i could fly away

no one has ever noticed
my eyes are always filled with tears
my heart is always breaking
and i don't want to be here

i don't think i'm an angel
for i don't believe in it
but in some ways i'm a BROKEN angel
hoping to fly away

i sperad my wings
i try to fly
but my hope
has already died

i let tears fall
i yell to someone
i reach out my hand
i run down the hall

no one chases after me
no one screams my name
i'll try to fly
if my wings don't burn

i'm a broken angel
i WANT to fly away

this broken angel
has almost died

i can't go to heaven
i've sinned too much
i can't go to hell
i've sinned not enough

i'm a broken angel
i need to fly
THIS broken angel
has pretty much died

Criminal

Ive been a bad bad girl,
Ive been careless with a delicate man.
And its a sad sad world,
When a girl can break a boy
Just because she can.
Dont you tell me to deny it,
Ive done wrong and I want to
Suffer for my sins.
Ive come to you cause I need
Guidance to be true
And I just dont know where I can begin.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.
Heaven help me for the way I am.
Save me from these evil deeds.
Before I get them done.
I know tomorrow brings the consequence
At hand.
But I keep livin this day like
The next will never come.
Oh, help me, but dont tell me
To deny it.
Ive got to cleanse myself.
Of all these lies till Im good
Enough for him.
Ive got a lot to lose and im
Bettin high
So Im beggin you before it ends
Just tell me where to begin.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.
Let me know the way
Before theres hell to pay.
Give me room to lay the law and let me go.
Ive got to make a play
To make my lover stay
So, what would an angel say?
cause the devil wants to know.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.
What I need is a good defense
cause Im feelin like a criminal.
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I sinned against
Because he was all I ever knew of love.

The Father's Sins

I won’t bear your burden
And I’ll never share your fate
Prepare yourself to rot inside
The tomb that you create
Your web of lies will strangle you
But cannot shroud your crime
You’ve escaped judgement until now
But soon you’ll serve your time

Oh, father you have sinned
Confess and purge your soul
The torture wheel that you have built has spun out of control
Oh, father you have sinned
Escape your purgatory
I’ll never let the father’s sins cast shadows over me.

A Litany

A soft touch in the drought like brushing fire,
Pressed upon the skin, upon desire,
Providing an all encompassing flame
From her and her slender and fragile frame.
How my mind does want of her to be pinned.
I must be blown in the hurricane wind.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Eager am I to partake in the feast,
Saving no cuisine, savoring at least
As much is offered, yet asking for more,
Starving sense with excess, the stomach's roar,
And my strong appetite does not rescind.
My gullet grows now to never be thinned.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

My rapacious pursuit for some power
Consumes my consciousness in this hour.
I pine for, I long for more than I need:
A house of gold and the money tree's seed.
My avarice and covetousness twinned
To keep my arrogance under-chagrined.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

I have had a listless heart. Without bliss!
I have filled it with emptiness and this,
By my acts of fool-hardy omission,
Has led all my joys to split in fission.
Nothing, my companion, so thick-skinned
Is a force unmovable, unreckoned.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Uncontrolled are my feelings and they rage,
Ravishing better judgment in rampage.
Self-destruction, violence manifests.
Like sickness vile in its sweep, it mass infects,
Spreading swiftly ev'ry single second
When its foul reign is beseeched and beckoned.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Deprive others—I must—so I may take.
With belligerent thievery I make
My sorrow to have someone else's good,
To proclaim, "Mine! " though another man should,
But, in my ears, the pleas have been deafened,
And no cries but mine will I have listened.
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Yet, for me ways, my many grievances,
I have learned through process of acceptance
That what I have done become who I am—
I am proud of myself though I be damned,
But I will confess my wrongs when questioned.
Lie? I will not! Why chose to be burdened?
Oh my Lord! Does thou know how I have sinned?

Why Must This Be

OH WHY MUST THIS BE

Mine eyes bleed

With the sorrow of yesterday

Mine heart breaks

At dawns breaking grace

Mine arms tremble

As thine leaves me with broken heart

Mine mind seeks

To calm the chaos of thoughts

I can no longer see thee

I can no longer share the dawn with thee

I can no longer hold thee in my arms

Oh why must this be?

Have I sinned to make thee depart from these arms?

Have I sinned to make thee break my heart in two?

Have I sinned to make thee tarnish our future blue?

Oh why must this be?

For I am still madly in love with thee

I say unto thee take my heart

For now it is forever yours

I Was a Child and She Was a Child

I was a child and she was a child.
We were such Innocence.
How could we have sinned?

You're the sinner!
You're the monster!
You kill-

You crushed the Womb,
killing the fetus named Love.
Love didn't even have a chance to live.

Our Sweet Love- How could you kill such a beautiful thing?
We were such Innocence
Love was such Innocence

We were punished- When it was you who sinned-

No Fortune

Written by gerry beckley, 1979
Found on silent letter.
We were dancin in the middle
We could hardly hold our heads up
I think we had too much to drink
I remember wondering what theyd think
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da
We were thinkin bout the future
We were trying not to laugh
Then you made me cry instead
I remember wishing I was dead
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da
No fortune pays for wounds like these
Its been too long a time now please
Just say you will, we can call it a day
Its not as though we aint sinned
Its just a game we all play
There was nothing to win
Well Im coming home lady
Im your homecoming man
Trying hard to stand the rain
Gettin back on my feet again
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da
No fortune pays for wounds like these
Its been too long a time now please
Just say you will, we can call it a day
Its not as though we aint sinned
Its just a game we all play
There was nothing to win
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da
No fortune pays for wounds like these

Holy Sonnet XI: Spit In My Face You Jews, And Pierce My Side

Spit in my face you Jews, and pierce my side,
Buffet, and scoff, scourge, and crucify me,
For I have sinned, and sinned, and only he
Who could do no iniquity hath died:
But by my death can not be satisfied
My sins, which pass the Jews' impiety:
They killed once an inglorious man, but I
Crucify him daily, being now glorified.
Oh let me, then, his strange love still admire:
Kings pardon, but he bore our punishment.
And Jacob came clothed in vile harsh attire
But to supplant, and with gainful intent:
God clothed himself in vile man's flesh, that so
He might be weak enough to suffer woe.

There was a man and a woman

i
There was a man and a woman
Who sinned.
Then did the man heap the punishment
All upon the head of her,
And went away gaily.

ii

There was a man and a woman
Who sinned.
And the man stood with her.
As upon her head, so upon his,
Fell blow and blow,
And all people screaming, "Fool!"
He was a brave heart.

iii

He was a brave heart.
Would you speak with him, friend?
Well, he is dead,
And there went your opportunity.
Let it be your grief
That he is dead
And your opportunity gone;
For, in that, you were a coward.

One Of The Unfair Sex

She stood at the ticket-seller's
Serenely removing her glove,
While hundreds of strugglers and yellers,
And some that were good at a shove,
Were clustered behind her like bats in
a cave and unwilling to speak their love.

At night she still stood at that window
Endeavoring her money to reach;
The crowds right and left, how they sinned-O,
How dreadfully sinned in their speech!
Ten miles either way they extended
their lines, the historians teach.

She stands there to-day-legislation
Has failed to remove her. The trains
No longer pull up at that station;
And over the ghastly remains
Of the army that waited and died of
old age fall the snows and the rains.

Worth Dying For

Though you might not like who I am
You might even hate me to the core
But one thing I can tell you my brothers
Jesus said that I, was worth dying for.
As when they placed him upon the cross
And then nailed him onto that board
Jesus closed his eyes and spoke to GOD
And said that I, was worth dying for.
So now as I walked down any road
My soul is so happy and my heart is free
As I know that to myself that I am loved
And its by someone, that you cannot see.
I have sinned and been sinned upon
But that type of life I want it no more
As I live my life right, like the bible says
That's why Jesus said, I was worth dying for.
I live my life with a smile upon my face
And also with a happy song inside my heart
As I know that I am loved by GOD himself
And from him I could never or will ever part.
Now when I wake up each and every morning
As no one knows what in life is in store
But happy am I, as I enter each and every day
As I know Jesus said, that I was worth dying for.
So I sing my praise unto you my lord
As I thank you for what you’ve done for me
You gave me life and you gave me hope
And then you gratefully pointed out my destiny.
So this I tell you all my friends and my foes
As you wait or think from just the day before
Look at your life as you look into your soul,
And now think; were you worth dying for.

A Love without a Song

A Love without a Song
By: Adam M. Snow

I humble not for I but to wake again
Even though I may have sinned,
I've sinned for you, not for I.
I've loved no one but myself.
I dream of no one but I.

But it's you I see at night.
It is you my reflection choose,
Not your ghost for my sake but I.

But I humble not for I and not for you;
I humble without saying, an unjust love.
I see what of the world behind us.
I see an unjust life of eternal bliss,
A love without a song;
I see the forever us.

I humble now and forever among all things.
Until I see again, I am blind to you.
Until my time of death draws near
and yours as well,
We to be drowned upon sorrow, forevermore.

Mary Jane

Forgive me father for I have sinned
Im a child of the air, Im a witch of the wind
And Im still awake... mary jane
From the earth, up through the trees
I can hear her calling me
Her voice rides on the breeze
Oh, its haunting me
No, I cant get away
No, theres no escape
If I know Im going crazy
I must not be insane
Chorus:
Beware my friends, as you pass by
As you are now so once was i
As I am now so you must be
Prepare my friends to follow me
Forgive me father for I have sinned
Im a child of the air, Im a witch of the wind
Fingers gripped around my brain
No control, my mind is lame
Im in the astral plane, and Ill never be the same
Never, never, never, never, never, never
Never, never, never
Repeat chorus
It hurts so bad I cant breathe
Prepare to follow me

Let Bygone Be Bygones

To those i have sinned against of your forgiveness i beg
And you who have sinned against me you i do forgive
For what time I've got left i wish for peace with myself
Or in other words i want to live and let live.

Let bygones be bygone the past is the past
For my sins against others in karma i pay
And in the written word i now apologize
To all of those offended by me in some way.

I just want to live out what time I've got left
At peace with the World and with myself at peace
Far beyond the ego there is peace of soul
From self doubt, guilt and blame i just wish for release

And to live and let live and forget and forgive
And try to bring peace to my soul now in strife
And make peace with others and make peace with myself
I just want to enjoy the twilight of my life.

Pass This Way

We shall not pass this way again
Spoke the old man to his friend
For many lives, we have known
And many children, we've seen grown.
As you walk a path but one time
And though it seems the same
Every road has a different meaning
And every teardrop, a different pain.
We have sinned and saw sin
We have hated and we we had friends
But now we shall all be judged,
For when we hated, should we have loved.
Should we had fought, when we fled
Should we had watched when we had sinned
Should we had cried when we bleed,
I don't know, for we shall not come again.
When we go through life, this one time
We should do the best that we could
Live a life, and be its pride,
And be ready for judgement, when we die.
You pass this way but one time
You live a life but one time
You can help a soul but one time,
And one time, is all that is asked.
So when you pass this way again
Never be in a hurry when you walk by
Be you a woman or be you a man,
It never ever hurts, to only but try.

Jennifer Lost The War

Jennifer lost the war today
You'll find her burned and raped
Through it all
She must have wondered
What have I done
But nobody really cares today
The world's a busy place
Guess she must have really sinned

CHORUS:
I guess we're all just soldiers
She was only six years old
Left to die by strangers
Her family waits
And if we're all just soldiers
Is it so wrong to be afraid

Phoebe lost the war today
There must be some mistake
Say it happens all the time
And it's said and done
And Little Miss 1565 Your soul remains unclaimed
Guess you must have really sinned

Morality won't help her
When she lies silent in a morgue
And all our sorrows just don't count at all
But will the morning headlines
Even say that it's a shame
What are we headin' for

Seen it all before
Silent on the ground
As he's walking away
And I wonder how many more
Everybody takes it
Like it's nothing at all
Jennifer lost the war
CHORUS

Forgive Me Lord

Make my world a better place to be
Remove these chains and set me free
Give my life one reason to begin
Forgive me lord for I have sinned
Take my hand and lead me as you choose
It seems we aint got much to lose
Give this place one season without shame
Forgive me lord Ive sinned again
I been down on my luck, as a matter of fact
Ive even been chaste
Drifting along, singing a song
For the whole human race
I been caught in the act, as a matter of fact
Im even well known
Floating on by with a laugh and a sigh
On the road that leads home
I got no more time left to roam, if you love me
Take this world and build it as you please
With a little help from the likes of me
Keep it safe from harm and make it pure
Forgive the rich and save the poor
Like the dust on the wind Ive been taken again by my foolish pride
Drifting along, singing a song, thats how I get by
I been caught in the act, as a matter of fact Ive even been chased
Floating on by with a laugh and a sigh for the whole human race
I got no more time left to waste, if you love me
Make my world a better place to be
Remove these chains and set me free
Give my face a different point of view
Forgive us lord if we run to you
If you love me
Make my world a better place to be
Remove these chains and set me free
Give my life one reason to begin
Forgive me lord for I have sinned

Forgive me lord for I have sinned
