Dolphinic Poem

one survives this way
to every line written
to every word chosen
so well, like

a dolphin to his
finesse
after a show
there is always
a fish.

Adopt A Dolphin!

In this most precious world we live
Are creatures wild and free
And while most take, we know some give
To share nobility
That's why we smile like dolphins do
When good deeds can be done
Perhaps just by a chosen few
Who see good works as fun!

We learn that dolphins send out waves
And also hear these sounds
We likewise learn how each behaves
Beyond their leaps and bounds!
We know that dolphins leap for joy
And Flipper proved that well!
As if the air was just a toy
Where they could fly a spell

Each dolphin's like a good luck charm
Deserving of respect
So let's defend them from all harm
In ways we can protect
It's great to be a dolphin fan
You'll find it so worthwhile
Adopt a dolphin, if you can!
You'll make a dolphin smile!

Dolphin

How beautiful do the words have 2 be
Before they conquer every heart?
How will u know if Im even in the right key
If u make me stop before I start?
Chorus:
If I came back as a dolphin
Would u listen 2 me then?
Would u let me be your friend?
Would u let me in?
U can cut off all my fins
But 2 your ways I will not bend
Ill die before I let u tell me how 2 swim
And Ill come back again as a dolphin
Why does my brother have 2 go hungry
When u told him there was food 4 all?
This is the man that stands next 2 the man
That stands 2 catch u when u fall (oh!)
Chorus
If Im under water, will u find me? (find me {x4})
Will u shine a light and try 2 guide me?
Its happened before, Ive knocked on your door
But u wouldnt let me in
How beautiful do the words have 2 be
Before they conquer every heart? (oh!)
If I came back as a dolphin
Would u listen 2 me then?
Would u let me be your friend?
Would u let me in?
U can cut off all my fins
But 2 your ways I will not bend
Ill die before I let u tell me how 2 swim
Come back in the end as a dolphin (oh)
(Ill come back, baby)
(let me in, let me in) as a dolphin
(be my friend) dolphin
(yeah, yeah)
Dolphin
As a dolphin
As a dolphin
As a dolphin

Dedicação

sometimes i do not like to write
even a word
i hate it when a time like this comes
to me
like a friend i detest for betraying me
and my secrets

i go places
to forget find me some green grass
and blue skies
i embrace the silence of the
hibernating fish in mud

somehow, this dedication comes
a fealty to word
a sense of i cannot be without it
i go back again
to my room
my head so full
my mind dancing again like a crazy bee
to the petals around me

so here i am
again writing for you
these lines are lovingly written again

i could have written one simple word:

hello.

In Constant Struggle

there is this hook, line and
sinker

someone is a fish and he
is caught

the urchins and clams
and octopuses watch helplessly

the fish is this philosophy of
being caught and wanting to be free

you are inside this ocean and
you are this fish

and then you wish to become a man
all your life you feel the fish in there
hook, line and sinker

the fish in you and the man within
in constant struggle

The Demise Of Dolphins

Dolphins are delightful creatures, who I absolutely adore;
I feel sad, when they are washed up dead, along the seashore.
Seeing a dolphin swimming in the wild, must be very exciting,
But the day may come, when a dolphin becomes a rare sighting.

The death of a dolphin, should never ever be in vain;
From each one's demise, a lesson should be gained.
If we can try to discover why each dolphin has died,
Our future actions, that reason, should then guide.

The ocean is fast becoming a thick soup of toxic waste;
A daily problem, which many dolphins, now have to face.
If we continue disposing of our waste in to the ocean,
It will end up as a most poisonous and deadly potion.

Dolphins have such happy faces, and are just so adorable;
That we are needlessly killing them, is just so deplorable.
Through sparkling, clear waters, the dolphins love to zoom;
But where waste has been dumped, there is a murky gloom.

There are times when it does seem really very odd,
When deposited on a beach, is a whole dolphin pod.
That is when we need to stop; when we need to pause,
And do our utmost best to discover the underlying cause.

Such sad scenes, we do not wish to see repeated;
As, soon, the dolphin population will be depleted.
Each link within the food chain is strongly connected;
If a dolphin eats a poisoned fish, it too, will be infected.

Some people may think I'm making way too much fuss,
But life upon this Earth, is far from being just about us.
There are creatures on Earth, which are totally amazing,
And it is their lives which we, as humans, are now erasing.

As humans, we seem to think we have every single right,
And many of us are willing to ignore a creature's plight.
We really need to start thinking more, long before we act;
Dolphins are needlessly dying, and that is an actual fact.

A Mermaid On A Dolphin's Back

It was midnight and our ship was in mid-sea,
All were asleep, none there on deck except me.
The sound of the sea water, blowing wind I heard,
I was thinking then, when to go homeward!
Suddenly a musical note passed into in my ear,
Dulcet I might call it, but that put me in fear.
In the semi darkness, I noticed a very queer scene,
A mermaid with half fish body sitting on a dolphin!
A gossamer robe was on her glossy fair skin,
Glyptic band on her golden hair was vividly seen.
They rose up and down and almost touched a rack,
She was the beautiful mermaid, on the dolphin's back!
They were whispering in a very low sound,
I could hear as, there was no roaring waves around!
Her long cloudy locks were swaying in cool air,
Dumb stuck I stood as there was no crew to share!
The mermaid with her fish like bright, tinkle fin,
Embraced earnestly the neck of the cute dolphin!
The moon was walking, with his shiny silver shoon,
The flakes of the clouds wrapped the moving moon.
The sky then got covered with a gauzy dark shroud!
They dived into the sea, remained, the sea kissing cloud!

Tongue In Cheek (2)

Some things written with tongue-in-cheek
Misunderstood can cause some pique
If someone who is humorless
Fails to see your fun finesse

Humor is a trait to treasure
A trait most often spreading pleasure
To spread a laugh, a smile or two
Seems the human thing to do

Yet sometimes when one’s too cheeky
He may seem to some a bit too freaky
So it may be wise to show restraint
‘Cause freaky is what you know you ain’t

5. Gone Fishing

Fishermen cast out their nets
We all in turn go fishing
Some will use a rod and line
While others fish by wishing

Some wish for so many things
Like numbers in a line
If the line is lacking some
Next time they say that’s fine

Others fish for gossip
So they can tell to others
No escape for anyone
Not even someone’s brothers

Fishing for a missing sock
The washer won’t release
Hiding out behind the drum
With fluff and bits of fleece

You see we all go fishing
Not always using bait
Just cast a line for what you want
Then settle down and wait

A fish that drinks like a fish, that is a fish in excess
A fish that fishes in troubled waters, that is a fish taking advantage of another fish in trouble
A fish that fishes or cuts bait, well, to be or not to be, to retreat or to attack, that is the fishy question
A fish that is neither fish nor fowl, is a fish that is neither one nor the other, lacking some convictions
A fish out of water, is a fish feeling left out, no longer in his accustomed environment

Do you have other fish to fry for now?

Is there other matter requiring my attention?

Poor fish,
the lake is finally fished out from his fishy mind.

Mirror Of Humanity

there is a line
in Jesus's face,
just below His eyes...

and on that line
are written the names
of all the children
in the world
dying of starvation...

there is a line
in Buddha's face,
just below his eyes....

and on that line
are written the names
of all the children
in the world
whose familes have
been killed by the
bombs and bullets.

there is a line
in my own face,
just below my eyes...

and on that line
are written the names
of all the children
in the world
i let down when
i dont do my best,
to stand up strong
for equality and peace.

have you looked in a
mirror lately?

Behind the Sun

One day while bathing in the sea
my talking dolphin spoke to me
he spoke to me in symphony
from freedom's peace beneath the sea
he looked to me eyes full of love
said yes we live behind the sun

Behind the sun

The sun goes up
and the sun gets down
but like the heart of the sun
my heart continues to pound

Now while I shower in the rain
I watch my dolphin swim away
the one who listens to the surf
can feel the pulse beat of the earth
and like my dolphin swims so free
the sun does swim into the sea

Behind the sun

An island flying through the sky
one day your son might ask you why
and if you son should be a girl
she too might ask you of this world
the sun shines sweet upon your beach
and yes my dolphin loves to teach

Behind the sun

The sun goes up
and the sun gets down
but like the heart of the sun
my heart continues to pound

If I could get any animal it would be a dolphin. I want one so bad. Me and my mom went swimming with dolphins and I was like, 'How do we get one of those?' and she was like, 'You can't get a dolphin. What are you gonna do, like, put it in your pool?'

Does a Fish go Pee?

Does a fish go pee
when it's swimming in the sea?
Does it ever get the notion
when it's swimming in the ocean?
Does a fish take a leak
when it's swimming in the creek?
Do they do it in a muddle
when you see them in a puddle?
Does a fish ever miss when it's taking a @! &%
and they find urination
in the farmer's irrigation?
Do you think they're rather fond
of going potty in the pond...
and then, for goodness sake,
do they go while in the lake?
Do they tinkle at all
while in the waterfall?
Could you see a yellow gleam
as they do it in the stream?
Now take a little quiz:
Does a fish ever whiz?

Does a fish go pee
when it's swimming in the sea?

Cycle of Word

When one word drown, one word will raise
When one word vanished, one word will exist
When one word gone, one word will come
When one word finished, one word will show
When one word flies, nothing can take it back
When you talk, I wait like exiting child
The next word my ears will hear
But you keep silent, wandering in your own dream

Lucky Catch

Once saw a small boy
Hand line a very large fish
Very lucky boy!

With expensive gear
Fisherman cast very far
Not a single fish

'Boy could barely cast'
Remarked the old fisherman
'Just beginners luck'

True about boy's skills.
Could only cast to the fish
Feeding at his feet

Not just gear or skill
To be lucky in fishing:
Fish where the fish are!

Bhaji-(Chain Verse)

Chain Verse is composed in one of three ways:

1 Chain Verse is composed
with the last word or syllable of one line repeated
in the beginning of the next line.

2 Chain Verse can be stanzaic, most often written in any number of quatrains
but any stanza form will do, linked by repeating the last word of a stanza
as the first word of the next stanza.
The repetition of a word from one Verse or stanza to the next creates a chain-like link.
usually rhymed, linking rhyme as well as alternate rhyme.
often syllabic, alternating longer-shorter lines.
One example is alternating 8-7-8-7 syllables the other is alternating 6-5-6-5 syllables per line.

3 Chain Verse can be written
with the last line of the stanza repeated
as the first line of the next stanza.
----

2

Bhaji-(Chain Verse-6-5-6-5 syllables
With linking rhyme only)

I found a guava plant
Silent in a nook
Along my garden stroll
On a rainy day

Day was cool in showers
No wonder taste hyped
Picked some fresh guava leaves
Wishing for bhajis

Bhajis are many types
Of veggies and leaves
Can make tasty bhajis
Guava leaves too used

Used are gram and rice flours
With salt and chilli
Mixed in are leafy bits
And soda a dash

Dashing batter ready
When mixed with water
The center line Strung out
Dipped leaves get coated

Coated leaves then deep fried
Out from deep hot oil
Season's snack was ready
Why wait, munch said I

Confusion

You just cant believe me
When I show you what you mean to me
You just cant believe me
When I show you what you cannot see
Youre hiding from feelings, searching for more
Sharing and hoping, untouched for so long
Our lives still change from the way that we were
And now Ill tell you something I think you should know
You just cant believe me
When I show you what you mean to me
You just cant believe me
When I show you what you cannot see
You cause me confusion, you told me you cared
Hes calling these changes that last to the end
Ask me no questions, Ill tell you no lies
The past is your present, the future is mine
You just cant believe me
When I show you what you mean to me
You just cant believe me
When I show you what you cannot see
You tell me you need me, Ill make it this time
The thread wont divide us, the sensation survives
I was sure that I told you it was good from the face
Youve caused me some problems, youve taken my place
Why cant you see what you mean to me?
