Troubled Minds
What thoughts live in troubled minds
Chaos, murder, self-destruction?
Darkened hearts is what you’ll find
A Nation in midst of deconstruction

Murder By Association
The majority of Americans abhor conflict, especially war
Some carry placards and parade in protest
Some join militia groups
Most do nothing
Yet, everyone supports war
How?
By electing corrupt and hawkish politicians
By paying taxes that support military expansion
By accepting and believing corporate media propaganda
By buying and eating genetically modified and fast food
By sending our children to schools that are nothing more than public daycare
By allowing banks to plunder retirement savings and steal homes by foreclosure
By allowing Wall Street skullduggery, with no accountability or arrests
By allowing the invasion and occupation of Sovereign Nations
By being ambivalent and complacent to the destruction of a once great Nation
Yes we are all guilty of murder by association;
Murder of Planet Earth
Murder of each other
Murder of our children
Worst of all…Murder of our soul

Knife
Slit and
Slither knife
Penetrate in phallic push
To perforate the pulse of tissues in the flesh
Slice a vein to drain the unsuspecting victim
E’er they bleed and plea
Their scream
Of death

Oh see, first off you gotta realize - everything for me is a reconstruction or deconstruction. I would actually say deconstruction. Mission: Impossible would be the exception. That would be a reconstruction- deconstruction.

Of Hearts Broken
teary, sad ideas
embedded within thoughts
of btoken hearts
and troubled minds
weird..crazy moments
running around drowsing corners
crying.. wailing souls
imprisoned in unwanted cells
teardrops sobbing
kissing dirty dust
no turning back..
no looking onward..
no smiles..no laugh
prohibited happiness
no joyous songs
only sad melodies of broken hearts
no days ahead
no days behind
just tears falling down
from shattered dreams and minds

A Day of Prayer
We have called for a day of prayer, for men and women everywhere,
A day when the Creator is implored, by all those who know The Lord,
For intervention from God’s Right Hand, for our troubled, weary land,
The intervention of Jesus Christ, The Author of Salvation and our life.
As a nation we’ve fallen far away, from God, Who men seek this day,
Praying with hope and expectation, for a land, apart from Revelation,
Apart from the one believers cherish; without Truth a land shall perish.
So our urgent need, I say with a nod, is for this land to return to God.
The Lord God may not heal this land, but, our Lord can help us stand,
All those, who are part of His Mission, to stand against all opposition,
Those opposed to all moral principle, who want no part of God’s Will,
For all must embrace God’s Truth, to avoid God’s Righteous Reproof.
Our prayers must be for individuals, those mislead by darkened fools,
The fools, who say there is no God, over this nation, that we now trod,
For God indeed now reigns above, every darkened land that’s void of,
The Lord God’s Holy Revelation, with many souls in need of Salvation.
So men, who are called by God’s Son, must pray to God for everyone.
For those who are not born again, that God will touch the heart of men,
Changing the hearts within our nation; turning men to God’s Revelation,
So that we could again be a land, blessed and moved, by God’s Hand.

I Heard The Roar On Maha-shivaratri
I heard the bum bum Bhole on Maha Shiva Ratri
Herd of kanwarias sing and dance their hymns play,
And wild and sweet the roar repeat
Of happiness in the nation, destruction of evils in men.
Mesmerized, I brood, as the morning had come,
To offer the holy waters on the divine Shiva Linga
Devotes had marched along the unbroken hymns
Of happiness in the nation, destruction of evils in men.
But in despair I shook my head:
‘There is no happiness in my nation, ’ I cried
‘For hate and depression is high, and laughs at the hymns
Of happiness in the nation, destruction of evils in men.
Then read the beads more lost and loud:
‘Lord Shiva is still there looking at all our deeds;
The evil will be destroyed, the goodness prevail,
Of happiness in the nation, destruction of evils in men.
Kanwarias ringing, singing all through their way,
The nation awakened from night to day
Mighty Tandava, a roar, a chant sublime,
Of happiness in the nation, destruction of evils in men.

Premeditation
Oh blade you'll warm tonight!
Awash in crimson-purple flows,
Your sheen will dull with aching flesh:
Palpating anatomic mounds
Caressing, dancing, writhing round
Your metal form-
Whetted ‘gainst a lonely bone,
Then to probe the pounding, begging heart.
And all the while the prey will howl
Before they crumple; greet the mud-
A taut and unbelieving jowl
Will open out for giving blood-
A vent from down below,
Once a brutal show
Of metal in the man.

In The Midst Of War
in the midst of war with bodies lying on the ground
walks a band of children-their families can't be found
searching through the rubble of homes that used to be
looking for food and clothes just to survive
because of their elders who choose to live a lie.
as i look through their eyes-all i can see
is death and destruction staring at me.
these children are not to blame for what is all around
but! if its not stopped they'll be laying on the ground.
they search thru this destruction in hopes that
they'll find-others to join them.
as they walk down the streets-the elders stop their fighting
to let them pass.
but this is just temporary- they know it will not last.
other children see them marching down the streets
they dropp what they are doing to join this band
knowing in their hearts it's time to take a stand.
this band is getting larger and the children start to shout..
what is this war? whats it all about?
can't you see the lives that have been taken?
because of this war the ground is still shaking.
the elders stop their fighting as the children all sit down.
they scream'we are not moving until this fight is through.
if this is what you want we will die with you.
you think only of yourselves and not what we're going through.
and when we die-what are you going to do.
there will be no one to carry on your name
there will be no heritage to be found
it will be burned to the ground.
look at our faces and you know what you will see
death and destruction surrounding me.
so we ask you from our hearts-it's time to change.
it is not something which is hard to do
it's all up to every one of you.

The Hope of a better Tomorrow
We sit in the midst hoping and waiting for a better tomorrow
Praying and thinking for whatever comes
Hope gives us the courage to strive
Hope makes us continue our lives
Hope gives us pride
Don't stop praying for hope
Live each day ecstatic
Live each day thankful
Live each day loving someone
Live each day loving yourself
Live each day calmly
Live each day as if it were your last
Live one day at a time
Open your hearts and minds so God can lead you
Let God help you
Let God love you
It's never to late to pray
Because we all look for hope

We are the great nation
We are the great nation
Who bombs other nations
Fills our childrens minds with nightmares
Where war rules us
And gangs roam our streets
People misunderstood, mistreated and misjudged
We are the great nation
Who has racists and prejudice
Where weapons of hate and destruction
Are in every street and home
We gamble, kill and steal
We are the greatest nation
Is that hard to believe
You tell me

Truly Great Blessings Belong To Those With...
seldom express opinions upon
what God did or did not say
to various prophets such topics
are precious to hearts believers
who worship honour God with faith
documents abound attesting
to what was said recorded
by faithful present witnesses
who listened to eagerly received
the words from prophet’s lips
interpretation mounts up to heaven
yet basics remain true sacrosanct
even an atheist an unbeliever
who does not believe in God deities
must admit that all individuals
who truly live by the ten
commandments are trustworthy
that any nation blessed with citizens
who do not lie cheat steal rape murder
who help support love their neighbour
as they love God and themselves
live in a nation blessed with belief
blessed with true equality peace
how rare is a nation rejecting
such life principles
which continues to prosper
even a nation of atheists prospers
when applying equality justice
respect welfare for all citizens
how much more prosperous
is a nation striving to walk
with God obeying divine will
commandments with a good heart
truly great blessings belong to those
with the love of God his laws
written into purity of their hearts

Deconstruction
We talked up all night
And still came to no conclusion
We started a fight
That ended in silent confusion
And as we sat stuck
You could hear the trash truck
Making its way through the neighborhood
Picking up the thrown out
Different from house to house
We get to decide what we think is no good
We're sculpted from youth
The chipping away makes me weary
And as for the truth
It seems like we just pick a theory
Ah it's the one that justifies
Our daily lives
And backs us with quiver and arrows
To protect openings
Cause when the warring begins
How quickly the wide open narrows
Into the smallness of
Our deconstruction of love
We thought it was changing
But it never was
It's just the same as it ever was
A family of foxes
Came to my yard and dug in
So i looked in a book
To see what this could possibly mean
Yeah cause there's fate in the breeze
Signs in the trees
And possible tragic events
When forces collide
With the damage strewn wide
And holes blasted straight through the fence
Oh the sky starts to crash
(into the smallness of)
The rain on the roof starts to drumming
(our)
And laid up like cash
(deconstruction of love)
Your take on my list of shortcommings
And now the show starts to close
(the show)
I know how this goes
(starts to close)
The plots a predicatable showing
And though it seems grand
We're just one speck of sand
And back to the hourglass we're going
Back to the smallness of
(into the smallness of)
Our deconstruction of love
(our deconstruction of love)
We thought it was changing
But it never was
We're still in the smallness of
(into the smallness of)
Our deconstruction of love
(our deconstruction)
We thought it was changing but it never was
Our deconstruction of love
Our deconstruction of love

Rosalynn and I are troubled by the violence at the U.S. Capitol today. This is a national tragedy and is not who we are as a nation. Having observed elections in troubled democracies worldwide, I know that we the people can unite to walk back from this precipice to peacefully uphold the laws of our nation, and we must. We join our fellow citizens in praying for a peaceful resolution so our nation can heal and complete the transfer of power as we have for more than two centuries.

Elderly Women Behind The Counter In A Small Town
i seem to recognize your face
haunting, familiar, yet i can't seem to place it
cannot find the candle of thought to light your name
lifetimes are catching up with me
all these changes taking place, i wish i'd seen the place
but no one's ever taken me
hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away...
hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away...
i swear i recognize your breath
memories like fingerprints are slowly raising
me, you wouldn't recall, for i'm not my former
it's hard when, you're stuck upon the shelf
i changed by not changing at all, small town predicts my fate
perhaps that's what no one wants to see
i just want to scream...hello...
my god its been so long, never dreamed you'd return
but now here you are, and here i am
hearts and thoughts they fade...away...
hearts and thoughts they fade...away...
hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away...
hearts and thoughts they fade...

Children Are Not Possessions
Your children are not your children;
They are the sons and daughters life
longing for itself
They come through you but not from you,
Though they are with you they're not possessions
You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls live in the house of tomorrow,
Which you cannot visit, even in your dreams
You may strive to to be like them,
But seek not to make them like you
For life goes backward and lingers not with yesterday
You are the bows from which your children,
As living arrows are cast forth
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the Infinite,
And God Himself fills you with His Might that His
Arrows may go swift and far

Memory Loss
Indeed we live in troubled times
Our days filled with angst n’ worry
Good folk committing petty crimes
Blindly going nowhere in a hurry
Some complain of “Memory loss”
Whilst caught up in hurtful foment
Their days lived in utter chaos
Forsaken; “Living in the moment”
When events speed up slow down!
Deliberate; then proceed
‘Lest you quickly sink n’ drown
For it’s your loss when lifetime tallied
Life is best when you’re the boss,
And there’s no need for memory loss
