Deconstruction
We talked up all night
And still came to no conclusion
We started a fight
That ended in silent confusion
And as we sat stuck
You could hear the trash truck
Making its way through the neighborhood
Picking up the thrown out
Different from house to house
We get to decide what we think is no good
We're sculpted from youth
The chipping away makes me weary
And as for the truth
It seems like we just pick a theory
Ah it's the one that justifies
Our daily lives
And backs us with quiver and arrows
To protect openings
Cause when the warring begins
How quickly the wide open narrows
Into the smallness of
Our deconstruction of love
We thought it was changing
But it never was
It's just the same as it ever was
A family of foxes
Came to my yard and dug in
So i looked in a book
To see what this could possibly mean
Yeah cause there's fate in the breeze
Signs in the trees
And possible tragic events
When forces collide
With the damage strewn wide
And holes blasted straight through the fence
Oh the sky starts to crash
(into the smallness of)
The rain on the roof starts to drumming
(our)
And laid up like cash
(deconstruction of love)
Your take on my list of shortcommings
And now the show starts to close
(the show)
I know how this goes
(starts to close)
The plots a predicatable showing
And though it seems grand
We're just one speck of sand
And back to the hourglass we're going
Back to the smallness of
(into the smallness of)
Our deconstruction of love
(our deconstruction of love)
We thought it was changing
But it never was
We're still in the smallness of
(into the smallness of)
Our deconstruction of love
(our deconstruction)
We thought it was changing but it never was
Our deconstruction of love
Our deconstruction of love

Oh see, first off you gotta realize - everything for me is a reconstruction or deconstruction. I would actually say deconstruction. Mission: Impossible would be the exception. That would be a reconstruction- deconstruction.

Pause-Still
as you hold yourself back—
nor will i have you as intended,
for in remembrance
are you preserved best
(usually better than the real thing) .
there is something
(overbearing)
about small talk.
because the taxidermy
of you,
with a certain gesture
of you,
in a certain position
of you,
mouthing the right words
has proven to be a safeguard
vs.
your draining immediacy
(in your deconstruction
have i
found you) .
and when the...
echoes...
of our interactions
have run their course (have been digested properly)
then should we meet again—
until then though,
through a sigh,
will i best
love you.

I'm not against asking the audience to work, but I think what you have now is a sort of gratuitous deconstruction as a result of a fashion of literary deconstructionism indicating that there are no meanings.

It is probably impossible to love any human being simply "too much". We may love him too much in proportion to our love for God; but it is the smallness of our love for God, not the greatness of our love for the man, that constitutes the inordinacy.

When Love Starts Talkin
I thought I had my life worked out
I thought I knew what it was all about
Then love started talkin
Your love started talkin
I had my mind on the open road
I thought I knew where I wanted to go
Then love started talkin
Your love started talkin
(chorus)
When love starts talkin
You got no choice
But to shut up and listen
Its a powerful voice
Open the door
And let it walk in
Thats what you gotta do
When love starts talkin
I thought I had it wrapped up neat and nice
I didnt need nobodys advice
Then love started talkin
Your love started talkin
(repeat chorus)
I thought I heard it all before
I thought I didnt need to hear no more
Then love started talkin
Your love started talkin

What I think I have in common with the school of deconstruction is the mode of negative thinking or negative awareness, in the technical, philosophical sense of the negative, but which comes to me through negative theology.

New Beginning But Old Deletion
Dead leaves afraid of touching new things
Noby knows but butteries know
Flat pretentious siplomats of the the in paper fire glued with powered
dirts
Innovative fakes out of social diets on the table of tommorrow
Are you one of them?
Song of butterflies into the cave of deconstruction
A white snow-mountain
A clear deconstruction of biased skins
Only left white action, speech and contemplated wisdom with fresh energy
beyond time frame
a white snow mountain on the move of mind-body connection.
A beyond-concept conceptuality-map.
Antiquaire's Paris
at a sort of deconstruction site of the Golden Age
full-frontal for the passing-trade
a marble copy of a Greek
exposing all his majestique
on being sold to a dealer from Japan
crashed the glass and away he ran
finally booked for loitering
they overlooked his none last fling
he'd spoiled a nymph with rampant foreplay
in bas relief at the Musee D'Orsay

Moments
a life
a single life
our lives
follows
follow dignified bearings
compass bearings
charted
upon self set course
chosen
by a moment
those significant
moments
moments
mere fleetings
moments
moments
seeded upon cast wind
of our own actions
actions
which we shall be
accountable for
for for
the duration of
our lives
upon great
moments chosen
conscience
wisely are
our characters
our reputations
won
upon
smallness
smallness
of a single
solitary act
can a single
act ungoverned
our characters
reputations
can be
lost forever

The New Life
Ive burned my bridges
And Im free at last
All my chains are
In the past
The new life starts here
(I was trying to get happy
I thought it was hard
Until I found that
In my own back yard
The new life starts here)
The day is wide open
The sky is blue
The world is a miracle
And so are you
The new life starts here
My papers arrived
Stamped and complete
All previous dispatches
Are obsolete
The new life starts here
I can see my way so clear
Rejoice for...
The new life starts here
Theres a war in the gulf
But it aint in my head
I just declared a state of
Peace instead
The new life starts here
(tempters and tricksters
Banging at my door
Im not fighting with them
Anymore
The new life starts here
/
Users, abusers,
Banging at my door
Im not fighting with them
Anymore
The new life starts here
Tempsters and tricksters
Wondering how
To seize my attention
They cannot touch me now
The new life starts here)
Generals, presidents
How do you do?
I can make it with or
Without you
The new life starts here
I can see my way so clear
Rejoice for...
The new life starts here
Are you under the mercy?
Are you under attack?
Are you going forward?
Are you going back?
The new life starts here
(are you coming to grips?
Are you coming apart?
Are you listening to fear?
Or to your heart?
The new life starts here
/
Are you building heaven
Or are you building hell?
When that great day comes
Will you be able to tell?
The new life starts here)
Citizen, criminal, child
Woman or man
The keys to the kingdom
Are in your own hands
The new life starts here
(God of our love
Who ignited the sun
Not my will
But thine be done
The new life starts here)
Mock the devil
Make him sweat!
He hasnt won
The battle yet
The new life starts here
(a whole new age in seven more years
A brave new age in ten more years)
Rejoice for...
The new life starts here

Ash Poem
I could not take it, the fear.
Transient flesh
vibrant in a sunken ship.
On a coral island
deconstruction of a fallen window.
Jumping on million skins.
The level of violence was rising.
Rebuttal will not convey
the truth, the reality.
A thin line of lips
skates on the ice of power.
In a palm grove
I was held by music of death.
My arms unwrapped
around the portrait of life.
White swellings on the knuckles
betray the gliding priest,
who denies the god.
