Unwritten
We slide into this world
And slip out the other side
Most of us just a footprint,
Washed away in history's tide
Unwritten blanks, forgot.

Skies Do Weep
The skies do weep for you my love,
The rivers are full of tears.
The wind does sigh for you my love,
The trees bow in despair.
The world is colder now my love,
The sun seems dimmer.
How I long for you my love,
But your not there.

Born From Stars
All of us are born from stars.
Each of us a little light of soul
That once traversed the heaven
That flickers restless to be free,
To return from whence it came.
For when we die, it will join its kind,
Rejoicing in the universal dance.
To reignite and set the skies ablaze.

No Obituaries
Hot words spat in anger.
Things he wished not said,
But genie like out the bottle.
Nipped from the heart.
It lay there between them
This last murdered piece of love.
To late for resuscitation
It lies dead and cold.
No obituaries needed.

Oblivion
Living furious,
Our fireball existence
We rushthrough life,
ladder
the
up
Step
To
On the fast track.
Burn up,
We ignite a flash.
A bright conflagration,
A blaze of glory.
Then crash into oblivion.
And are no more,
Not even a memory.

I Failed
I failed to love you as I ought,
To see you as you were,
But it wasn't what I thought
A beauty wild and pure.
I should have seen the painful eyes
And heard the weary sighs,
And what I thought was true
Were just decietful lies.
So now I say I'm sorry
Even though it is to late,
And hope that you are happy
Gone to a better fate.

The Syphinx's Look (Stream I)
In a vacuum.
No sound to penetrate
without thinking they
Slid sliding into love,
Hip hopping out again
As easy as pie
Pi r squared.
As difficult to decypher
as the syphinx's look
Brought to book
All that mystery
and no, I know where to go
It wears me out
You know,
Go-
Go on find it, its there
Whilst I'm here
Do you hear there.
Their eyes lock
The key to their depair
Unable to stand they sit
Stare upon the stairs
With eyes that are all eyes
Mince pies.
Challanging the stereotypes
He types and types
What types he likes.
She bites the hand
But she not being fed is
Fed up so she eats,
Eats to forget the pain
They slip slide further apart
Hey break a heart,
That's the heart of the matter.
No matter.

Poor Fools
Poor fools we are-
We cannot seem to touch.
Although we are so near
A heart beat apart,
But we are walled off
Each in our cell of misery.
We built this wall high.
Cemented it with our tears.
Set each brick with pain.
Disected our love.
Sliced it into a thousand pieces;
Cut each other with cruel words.
Until it withered - died.
And we are left with dust.

October Song
When October comes
With its misty melancholia.
And trees of their leaves undress
In the cooling air.
When autumn chill settles;
A trickling stream into my bones.
When late roses lose their petals
And winters but a step away.
Then I think of you,
Who would never another winter see
Nor the first spring flowers
Or Feel summers warmth where you lie
For it does not penetrate that deep.

Slide Some Oil To Me
(charlie smalls)
Slide some oil to me
Let it trickle down my spine
If you dont have s.t.p.
Crisco will do just fine
Slide some to my elbows
And to my fingers if you would
Slide some oil to me, girl
Whoo! dont that feel good!
Slide some oil to my feet, look
I got toes again
Come on and slide some oil to my knees
And let me see if I can bend
Slide some oil to me
Im beginning to feel just fine
Slide some oil down my throat
And let me lubricate my mind
Slide some oil to me
Go ahead, hit my shoulder blades
Those who dont have to lubricate
Sure got it made
Slide some oil to me
Let it slip down my side
Laying there in one position
Sure does make me tired
Now watch me dance!
And let me lubricate my mind

An Act of Love (Stream VIII)
Joyful,
These lovers entwined.
Who lie together,
Lying side by side,
Beside the stream.
Upon the grass,
Under the tree,
Below the silver moon,
Beneath the starry sky.
Starry eyed with
Stars in their eyes,
They eye each other.
Lips meet lips
Honey sweet.
A sweet embrace.
In that moment
The world stops.
Joined as one,
One with the earth
In an act of love,
These lovers lie entwined.

War Dead
As the sun sets tremulous,
The carrion church wardens,
Shadowy paradoxes, stand sentinel.
The pale eyed dead look on silent
At this memorial to conflict.
These stark floral tributes;
Wreaths woven in blood red
These poppies of sacrifice,
To the slaughter of wars past.
They do not glorify war.....no,
But honour the long dead.

The Sun Still Rises
The sun still rises in dawn display,
The moon still traverses the sky
And earth spin from night to day.
The oceans still toss spumes of spray,
I still breath, heart still beat,
Blood course inexorably on its way.
But my world has frozen, stilled,
A photographic unthawed moment,
Etched in acid that cannot move on.
Is this the glaciated shock of death?
That numbs, immobilizes thought.
And eyes once warm and loving
Turned to mirrors of hardened water.
To pour these bitter salted tears.
To ask why the sun still rises?

Spare a Dime
You walk right on passed him everyday,
Stepping to one side 'cause he's in your way.
You look down on him making a clutter,
A poor lonely man down in the gutter.
A judgment is made upon this poor soul,
Fallen on hard times now in a hole.
You quickly rush by him and try not to see,
You think that you are better he.
You don't know his history or why he's there
And like many others you don't seem care
He's like the garbbage of no interest or use
Only fit for hate and abuse.
You walk right passed him, pretend he's not there
Yet he's still human in need of your care,
He once had a family and some one to love
Just give him your pity, heavens above.
So if he asks you to spare him a cent
Just think of it as a kindly hand lent
And give him a coin you've nothing to lose
And just be grateful you're not in his shoes.

Purple Evening
I breathe you in as we kiss.
Your hair smells of moor
The tang of peat.
Fresh.
Of the heather, wildness.
The close purple of evening
Slowly creeps across the sky.
We take each others hands
And slowly walk into the moon.
The becks sound a watery serenade.
We seem float on the early mist
Which rises as the earth loses heat,
But we are warmed by our love.
Insulated from the chill, content.

Joy Will Return
When in a pit of deep despair
And no light pierces the dark.
Remember there will be a day
When joy will return.
When hopeless tears are shed
And life seems bitter, dead.
Remember there will be a day
When joy will return
When days seem drear and sad
And you feel you'll never laugh.
Remember there will be a day
When joy will return.
Then suddenly the day will dawn
And you give that first guilty laugh.
You will know deep inside,
Though won't admit,
Joy has returned

You Do Or You Don't
Written by lindsey buckingham.
Living in exile aint the way to go
Its just another way of dying
A whole lot of faces that you call your own
All those faces are crying
You either run or you hide
Now you slip now you slide
You say you will, but you wont
You either do or you dont
Living in exile, just gotta let it go
You know that its true
Just like a little child, youre got to crawl away
Its the last chance for you
You either run or you hide
Now you slip now you slide
You say you will, but you wont
You either do or you dont
Somebodys go to see this through
All the world is laughing at you
Somebodys got to sacrifice
If this whole things gonna turn out right
You either run or you hide
Now you slip now you slide
Now you will, now you wont
You either do or you dont

Words
Words can wound.
Even those gently spoken,
But they can also heal.
Breathe balm.
Pain is a thread that runs through all lives,
Its lies entwined with the joy.

The Path of Dreams
Oh Morpheus shaper of dreams
You come to me in soft shod feet;
A thousand steps into darkness.
Tunneling down into slumber
To that secret golden place
Your many chambered rooms.
Each a door to realms of night
To where reality ends,
A place between dimensions
Where I fly, walk under the sea,
Be angel or devil, a rain of tears,
An ocean in a dropp of water,
A planet in a grain of sand.
A surreal paradise or a firey hell
A highway in the kingdom of sleep.
To follow the silver thread to wake
But remember not.

Unquiet Soul
Why do you write these self destructive verses
Slashing at your unquiet soul in icy solitude;
Crying in your wilderness of angst ridden pain,
There is a bleakness to your life that cools the sun,
Blankets you in shades of your own misery,
To live in the blackness of the inky night.
Hopeless you are, blind to the light, deaf to loves call.
Let me open your cage, illuminate your night,
Bring you into the joyfulness life.
Awaken you from your long sleep with a tender kiss
Warm you in the gentle heat of my love
Bring you into the light and set you free.

Slide It In
You talk too much,
Never saying what's on your mind,
It's written on your face,
An' in the words you hide behind.
I know what you want,
I can see what you're looking for,
I know what you want from me,
An' I'm gonna give you more.
I'm gonna slide it in
Right to the top,
Slide it in,
I ain't never gonna stop.
Slide it in,
Right to the top,
I'm gonna slide it in, slide it in,
Slide it, in baby.
Sometimes you seem
Just like a stranger to me,
But, all the games you play
Make it so easy to see.
You're looking for love,
Tho' you try to deny,
The things you put me through
Tell me what I've got to do to you.
I'm gonna slide it in,
Right to the top,
Slide it in,
I ain't never gonna stop.
Slide it in,
Right to the top,
I'm gonna slide it in, slide it in.
(Solo)
You talk too much,
Always treating me so unkind,
I know what I've got to do,
To get me some peace of mind.
I'm gonna slide it in,
Right to the top,
Slide it in,
I ain't never gonna stop.
Slide it in,
Right to the top,
I'm gonna slide it in, slide it in,
Slide it in,
Right to the top.
Slide it in,
I ain't never gonna stop.
Slide it in,
Right to the top,
I'm gonna slide it in, slide it in, slide it,
Slide it in, slide it in,
Right to the top, baby
