A strange gathering of the bards

There won't be any restrictions it seems
And poets from all over the world met here in the workshop.
I saw at a corner Sandra and Alison having a long chat
And behind them Jerry, Max, Denis, Dave, George, Duncan and some others
arguing of the current money crisis.
Amanda, Susie, Linda and Patricia just entered into the hall with a smile.
The reciting started in an auspicious time and my turn came after a while.
I was ashamed as I have nothing new to tell,
Then the conductor insisted; 'Tell whatever you like.'
I murmured; 'Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.'
'Hey! Darling you are sleepwalking nowadays and why did you carry this rusty bucket from the bathroom.' She squeezed my hand and grumbled.

An evening in a solitary Park

The rusty padlock cries at the gate.
'Oh! It's almost closed.'
'Fortunate lovers sat a long time here and they were gone somewhere hand-in-hand.'
Lopsided rickety bench grumbles.
The motionless swing whispers' The children were already grown ups in full swing.'
The withered fallen leaves were helpless in the violent storm and it reminds me the sojourn in the mysterious life.

It's very strange when others rest in their peaceful roost
Why you struggle alone in the unlimited sky?
Take care my friend as the Air planes collide themselves

Fetching Water

Come on now; let’s go fetch some water
grab a pail in each hand and let’s go.
Down the hill, to the pond in the holler,
then we’ll climb back up the hill with that water!

Everyone today has forgotten
what it’s like to haul water in a pail.
Every house must have a Jacuzzi,
and a big swimming pool, as well.

Come on now; let’s go fetch some water
grab a pail in each hand and let’s go.
Down the hill, to the pond in the holler,
then we’ll climb back up the hill with that water!

And our homes must have a green lawn
to keep it looking really good!
The water we waste on that green grass
could be used by the farmer to grow food.

Come on now; let’s go fetch some water
grab a pail in each hand and let’s go.
Down the hill, to the pond in the holler,
then we’ll climb back up the hill with that water!

Don’t waste all of that precious water.
We have worked too hard to bring it here.
We can’t live without that precious water
let’s be thankful that it is so near.

Come on now; let’s go fetch some water
grab a pail in each hand and let’s go.
Down the hill, to the pond in the holler,
then we’ll climb back up the hill with that water!

Don’t be taking the water from the farmer
without it his crops will never grow.
All of life depends upon the water
Don’t take it for granted anymore.

Come on now; let’s go fetch some water
grab a pail in each hand and let’s go.
Down the hill, to the pond in the holler,
then we’ll climb back up the hill with that water!

Monkeys, Strawberries & Grapes

' I give them utmost sweet but they are not satisfied
And they go behind bitter fruits, it's very difficult to find their taste.'

And left the jungle for civilization.' A monkey joined them.

The blurred Mustang in my foggy dream

I do remember my art teacher a Belle
And really a Goddess; Her fallen hair reached the buttocks
Talking eyes and the pleasant smile that brings flux to a lonely heart.
Still it's a dilemma why she remained as a spinster?
My nostalgic thoughts ferried into the boisterous schooldays
And she drew a horse on the blackboard.
Later she explained; 'Mustang is a wild horse of Mexico and California.'
Right now I want to shout to my dear stunning teacher that I struggle to live in California and I dream sometimes my beautiful Mustang neighs;
' Unfaithful Master you have already jumped the hurdle leaving me alone at the border.'

A Merry Christmas

Thick snow covered the mountain tops and the dangerous calendar is going to be finished very soon,
But a new shinning one comes with the same old nagging worries.
I hear the hymns from a faraway church
And I think of my old thatched village church and the skinny bearded father who wanders in my blood-soaked native land.
Oh! My Lord Jesus of Nazareth,
If we could have the Christmas at all to our miserable lives?

Jack And Jill

this is not the usual story of Jack and Jill,
this is reality
welcome. Jack married Jill
in 1985
the first year was bliss
until the second year
when Jack
was so pressured
in his work
and Jill who was left at
home
got so bored with nothing
to do
except to listen
to Jack's shifting
towards the corners
of insanity
and then one day
Jill cooked Chinese noddles
for their wedding anniversary
which of course
she did not recall
but Jack still had it vivid
in his mind
the expensive wedding gown
the diamond ring
and flashy car
and the well attended
grand reception

Jack went wild
and throw the hot noddles
in Jill's face

Jill went to the U.S.
married a white man
Jack finally landed
in a mental asylum

The house where they once
lived
got burned

nothing remained
except the vacant lot
foreclosed by
the bank

sad
Jack and Jill
did not live happily everafter

Imploding In Their Conditioned Positions

Falling to pieces!
Quicker.
Faster.
Than anyone can remember,
Who Bo Peeped.
Or if creeps were involved,
With the fleecing of Mary's little lamb.
Or the padlocking of Mother Hubbard's house,
After stealing her homemade jam.

Falling to pieces!
Quicker.
Faster.
Than Jack and Jill,
Going up a hill...
To fetch a pail of tainted water.

Now everyone is looking down.
To discover anything on the ground,
Worthy to pawn!
After mentally being slaughtered,
By deceit nursed by thieves going on...
Discreetly allowed to do their crimes.
As those mumble in their fumbling,
To find reason and rhyme in trying times.
And ripe...
For an imploding,
In their conditioned positions...
To occur!

Some Of Their Laws Are Nothing But Farce

Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall,
Humpty Dumpty never did fall,
All the kings horses and all the kings men,
Weren't needed to put Humpty together again.

Why was this I hear you all say,
It has always been that is the way,
By saying it's not you are causing affray,
I'ts the reason Humpty's alive today.

When Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall,
It couldn't be built more than four inches tall,
So if and when he decides to fall,
The kings men and their horses won't need a call.

When Jack and Jill went up the hill,
They didn't fetch a pail of water,
Jack didn't fall down or break his crown,
Nor did Jill come tumbling after.

What is this nonsense I hear you all ask,
Tell us the truth or we'll take you to task,
Well Jack and Jill get their water by stealth,
That way they both remain in good health.

To ask children to work you must be a rotter,
Especially your son and your daughter,
It's like putting lambs to the bloody slaughter,
For that you'll find yourself in very hot water.

When Simple Simon met the pieman,
On his way to the fair,
He said you think that you're a fly man,
So eat my food if you dare.

Simon said I can't because your pie is far too cold,
As it doesn't have a sell by date, I can't say how old,
I've afraid I've got to tell you that your business must now fold,
My gift gift of observation is a power to behold.

Food unheated you must never eat,
If it's went cold you must not reheat,
Especially when it's a type of meat.
Or for sure you'll end up on the toilet seat.

Ring a ring of rosies,
No need to carry posies,
Atishoo atishoo,
Nobody fell down.

This was based on fact you know,
You cannot change all that,
Yes I can I'll tell you so,
You can't blame the poor old rat.

By allowing rats to thrive you see,
Is good for all as they run free,
Killing them all I trust you'll agree,
Is bloody murder we must let them be.

Three blind mice three blind mice,
They no longer run they no longer run,
They got the police to the farmers wife,
Who was arrested for carrying a carving knife.

Now she's in jail for a very long time,
For attempting to commit such a heinous crime,
The mice have a life that is really sublime,
As over the bread and cheese they climb.

Mice are creatures that easily please,
It's wrong to say that they spread disease,
That statement can only be classed as sleaze,
As for cutting their tails off their must be a freeze.

These prime examples I'm sure you will find,
They are not just barbaric they are so unkind,
You all now must get it into your mind,
In Health and Safety they are all now enshrined.

Though it's something the majority really deplore,
You can no longer do what you want anymore,
Big brother is watching your every chore,
It would destroy your soul to the very core.

If we obeyed all the rules Health and Safety impose,
The worlds economies would come to a close,
Their guidelines for working are unclear and sparse,

Eldorado Park

I sit on an isolated bench beside the pond
And I write these few lines in my pocketbook.
Oh! The black swan in the pond dragged me to my boisterous school days.
We called her 'Blackbeauty'; The dark girl with a huge back.
I remember once I passed her a vulgar joke and still I repent.
'Hey! My sweetheart could I borrow your buttocks as my pillow? '
She just smiled only and her pearly teeth that I never forget and who knows where she goes?
The faraway golf links like a paradise and someone strikes the ball with the club and it flies to the infinity.
Oh! If you could do the same for me then I could have landed on my native grounds peacefully.
In the pellucid water of the pond I see my wrinkled ugly face and I realize the gravity of wreckage in the uncertain life.
