A Squint and a Peek

With a squint and a peek
I popped into this world
With a yell and a breath
I took hold

As to why I was here
I had not a clue
And I still scratch my head
as I wonder

Why me and why now
are questions I ask
While the reason for all
stays well hidden

Why do I think
and incessantly ponder
And what does it mean
to be sentient

Will science explain
why all is as it is
Or is there divine
all-encompassing purpose

And are we alone
in our vast cosmic home
Or do unknown others
ponder with us

What I feel deep inside
is that life is a gift
And it's a proper response
to be thankful

When I do leave this world
if I squint and I peek
I may glimpse answers
to some of my musings

Peek-A-Boo

The cunningest thing that a baby can do
Is the very first time it plays peek-a-boo;

When it hides its pink little face in its hands,
And crows, and shows that it understands

What nurse, and mamma and papa, too,
Mean when they hide and cry, 'Peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo.'

Oh, what a wonderful thing it is,
When they find that baby can play like this;

And everyone listens, and thinks it true
That baby's gurgle means 'Peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo';

And over and over the changes are rung
On the marvelous infant who talks so young.

I wonder if any one ever knew
A baby that never played peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo.

'Tis old as the hills are. I believe
Cain was taught it by Mother Eve;

For Cain was an innocent baby, too,
And I am sure he played peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo.

And the whole world full of the children of men,
Have all of them played that game since then.

Kings and princes and beggars, too,
Everyone has played peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo.

Thief and robber and ruffian bold,
The crazy tramp and the drunkard old,

All have been babies who laughed and knew
How to hide, and play peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo.

Old Gold Diggin' Geezer

Peek a boo doo peek a boo doo,
Peek a boo doo boo!
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.
Peek a boo doo peek a boo doo,
Peek a boo doo boo!
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.

You just wanna ride in my car.
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.
And take you to places to feed your greedness.
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.
Peek a boo doo peek a boo doo,
Peek a boo doo boo!
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.

You just wanna have an easy life.
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.
And you think I'm the one gon' give it!
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.
Peek a boo doo peek a boo doo,
Peek a boo doo boo!
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.

You ain't got a mortgage or a lease on me.
None that we've agreed upon.
And none that you can see.
You ain't got a ring or a title to keep me leashed up tight.
And what you think I've got,
You're not gonna get that close to take a bite!
With or without your teeth behind your 'grill'...
You old gold diggin' geezer!

Peek a boo doo peek a boo doo,
Peek a boo doo boo!
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.
Peek a boo doo peek a boo doo,
Peek a boo doo boo!
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.

You just wanna ride in my car.
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.
And take you to places to feed your greedness.
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.
You old gold diggin' geezer!
Poppa dada poppa.
Poppa dada poppa.
You old gold diggin' geezer!
Peek a boo doo peek a boo doo,
Peek a boo doo boo!

'I thought you said you were a friend to ALL people?
YOU are a fraud.
You ain't even a friend to some! '

Peek a boo doo peek a boo doo,
Peek a boo doo boo!

Peek-a-boo!

Peek-a-boo!
I can see you
And I know what you do
So put your hands on your face
And cover up your eyes
Dont look until I signal
Peek-a-boo! peek-a-boo! peek-a-boo!
The way that we werent is what well become
So please pay attention while I show you some
Of whats about to happen
Peek-a-boo!
I know what you do
Cause I do it too
Laugh if you want to or say you dont care
If you cannot see it you think its not there
It doesnt work that way

PoppyCat

Inquisitive nature, that cat.
How very curious,
How simply luxurious.

Where is the well that your questions
come from, that they never cease
even while you rest,
Cat?

You ponder and feel your way
Even as you rest you get your way.

You ponder as I ponder Cat.
we aimlessly wander.

Had I Known

Had I known then what I know today
Would that have changed anything?
Back then I'd not been ready for it,
Not ready to accept life's sting.

I needed to come upon it slowly
And feel it in my breath.
That which I needed the most
Was the understanding of death.

When you are in the thinking stage
You begin to wonder and seek
Why life turns out to simply be
Just a glimpse or a peek

Into the mysteries that surface
and are hard to figure out.
They can be called the unknown,
Things we don't know about.

But isn't that why we've come to earth?
to try our best to learn?
And had I known then what I know today
I'd have wanted a quick return

To where it was I ventured from.
And then I would never know
the answers to any of these mysteries
that slowly helped me to learn.

At His courtesy

what we see
of the world
is amazing
- each living
thing and its
characteristics

what we dont
see of the world
the force that
spells out
each so that
they think, act
grow.. is even
more amazing

one day science
can peek into
every facet of what
we call the Divine

Process 1

History can not be rewritten nor is absolution an absolute cure
Man's reason and purpose is to protect the innocent and the pure
The raising of children belong in the family not to an amateur.

Life is much more than just the passing of earthly or spatial time
It is the legacy we leave our children who are the fruit of our vine
Go give and leave them images of value and virtue for their minds.

Children are invited to come and contribute whenever they can
To know life's purpose and reason is the union of woman and man
The mind of a child needs to be challenged so they can understand.

The children are no longer our children when they leave the home
To carry forward and give to their children who are really a loan
The capacity to ask questions; for all answers come from their dome.

Sense's, intellect and questions, the basis for most human thought
The family home is where answers are given before they are sought
A child needs a safe, protected environment, in which to be taught.

The continuity, salvation and redemption of those here and to come
In the hands of all God's children for through them their will be done
Humanity is singular and exclusive and their gender is two not one.

All children filled with the energy of life and an unfettered mind
To have their time of peace to play, question and eventually find
To participate in life with good purpose and reason and never resign.

The children can move our world forward and even far beyond
Always to be; think; and acknowledge; mankind's most common bond
We on earth to to come together and teach our children to get along.

From the beginning to the end all on earth can be for naught
If the children refuse to participate and grow, all will be lost
A shared responsibility to question, listen and all signs to watch.

Release That Joy and Feed Us

Overcome that struggle you have,
To mask your hidden pride...
And peek from inside,
That casting shadow.

Free yourself from this false image.
You keep displayed.
For fear someone may steal,
Your quest...
To shine with exhilarating light.
The basking in this ray you gave...
Is missed by others,
Who enjoyed it when they bathed.

Overcome that struggle you have,
To mask your hidden pride...
And peek from inside,
That casting shadow.

Your flower blooming in radiance is missed.
Restore the courage within you that still lives.
Resist like you have...
From all of those conflicts had in your past!
And let us share and witness,
That which you unselfishly give!

The 'you' you 'are' from within is desperately needed.
To help assist all darkness from us to leave,
We plead.

Come out! Come out!
And glow like that bright star you are!
Come out! Come out!
Release that joy and feed us.
Please don't let us starve.

Love Talk After the Kids Are Asleep

He said when I see you at night my toga expands
She said when I see you from behind I think of cantaulope pistons

He said when I see you in your nightgown I think of milkshakes

She said I always notice when you scratch and hold.

He said I like when you dress up like a pirate and think of Johnny Deep

She said I like to see you get in the car in tight jeans.

He said I like it when I see you get in the car in a tight dress

She said I dream of coming to the office in nothing but a trench coat.

He said, I like to point at you without using my hands.

She said, I like it when you play horse

He said I like it when you play cowgirl

She said I like it when you feed me snickers bars

He said I iike it when you gave me a beer bath.

Ditto she said on the milk bath.

He said I like to pull your hair gently and think of shampoo

She said, when I come down the stairs all dressed up I want to see you faint.

He said I like you to to rub your hands over my chest, look up and have your eyes roll back in your head.

She said I like when you sneak a peek at me in the shower.

He said I like when you sneak a peek at me in the shower.

They pulled the moon down for the night to use as a night light.

Creepin' Up On You

Creepin' up on you is the wrong thing to do
I found your address got your phone number too
Visit all the stores where you buy all your clothes
Been to secret places you think nobody knows

If I have to breathe without you
Nobody should......
I need to be around you
Watchin' you

No one else can love you like I do
Feel it when I'm creepin' up on you
I know that it wouldn't be right
If I stayed all night
Just to peek in on you
Creepin' up on you..

I been hanging round all the places you haunt
Spying on your friends to find out what you want
Drinking from the glass that you left on the bar
Follow you around driving home in your car...

Do I have to breathe without you?
Coz nobody could
I need to be around you
Watching you

No one else can love you like I do
Feel it when I'm creepin' up on you
I know that it wouldn't be right
If I stayed all night
Just to peek in on you
Creepin' up on you..

This must be wrong
It can't go on
This kind of thing
It's taking all my sanity and making a mockery
This must be wrong
It can't go on
So Won't somebody free me from this misery
Bring my baby closer to me

No one else can love you like I do
Feel it when I'm creepin' up on you
I know that it wouldn't be right
If I stayed all night
Just to peek in on you
Creepin'

No one else can love you like I do
Feel it when I'm creepin' up on you
I know that it wouldn't be right

Creepin' up on you...

This Is Me

How can you just say that you love me yet to leave you alone
You said these walls were here to protect us, but it's still not a home
All these questions that are burning inside with answers I'll never know
'Cause you're the only one who knows how you feel, but you're not letting me know
What is it, love
Can I help you
I see where this has gone and what it's coming to
I look to you
Enough
Chorus:
I can't believe this is me
Where I can touch and not feel you
I feel I'm lost in a dream
Between what is and what seems
Having to face not to need you
You know you owe it to me
How can you think we don't need you
I'm tired of running away from my fear and the day
That our life has no meaning
Without a word or a reason
Like a coward, you're leaving
Sitting here inside an empty room that was filled with us
Only boxes to define what was left of what we used to call love
It's sad that after all of this time, you have nothing to say
Ooh, and the only thing that you could've done, you choose to walk away
I'm thankful, love
I don't hate you
'Cause I'd rather live and know than what you put me through
I needed you
Somehow
I can't believe this is me
Where I can touch and not feel you
I feel I'm lost in a dream
Between what is and what seems
Having to face not to need you
How could you do this to me
How could you think we don't need you
I'm tired of running away from the fear and the day
That our life has no meaning
Without a word or a reason
Like a coward, you're leaving
I can't believe this is me
I wasn't wont to believe you
I feel I'm lost in a dream
Between what is and what seems
Having to face not to need you
How could you do this to me
How could you think we don't need you
I'm tired of running away from my fear of the day

World's Slope

Try to solve the mystery
Go through world's history
And discover the clue
That's hidden in queue
And try to find the reply
And answers of the WHY
That come as to us in hope
Slipping through world's slope
And know that it is true
And hard to find the hue
That's hidden in an hour
That show us day's power
And tell us how to survive
In each moment of life
And now to discover clue
That is hidden in queue
Go through world's history
To solve this world's mystery.

Constant strife

My feelings are strange
To my own heart.

I ponder and ponder
To find I’ll never
Know the reason why.

The sky looks the same
So does my habitat.

But deep inside I find
Something is changed.

And the change, it is
The strangest and the greatest
I ever experienced.

I am caught up
In a fight, the very fight
Between hope and despair.

For God, I plead
There be an end to it.

‘Cause I can’t take it
Even a moment more.

I begged despair
And did plead to hope
To stop this war.

Yet they play with my life
As if it were a mere plaything.

And none of them ready
To step down for me.

Dirty Water Dog

No candidate would I support
His platform could I endorse
Another accomplice slinging dirt
Campaign promises falling short
I dont belong to any race
Pledge allegiance to a place
No borderline in the sand Id trace
Im just a sucker for a pretty face
Uncomfortable in the realm of the political
Positions always been a little left of cynical
Im fundamentally for the individual
Preoccupied purely with the physical
When heavy is the weight of the world
And the river runs a little too deep
Like a hound dog chasing a bird
Sometimes a certain toms gotta peep
Im a peek-a-boy, looking at girls
And I think I like, I think I like, I like what I see
I dont wanna find religion
Or another mans opinion
I cant choose whats not my decision
When theres only one under the sun
Theres no need to be denied
Chew before swallowing pride
I want to live so let me die
Oh by the way, whats your sign?
Cant comprehend the meaning of the metaphysical
Id rather leave that to your so-called intellectual
But what I do know I know feels only natural
Im just a red-blooded heterosexual
When heavy is the weight of the world
And the river runs a little too deep
Like a dirty water doggin a bird
Sometimes a certain toms he gotta peep
Im a peek-a-boy, looking at girls
And I think I like, I think I like, I like what I see
When heavy is the weight of the world
And the river runs a little too deep
Like a dirty water doggin a bird
Sometimes a certain toms he gotta peep
Im a peek-a-boy, looking at girls
And I think I like, like a hound dog, chasin a bird
And I think I like

Welcomed Into the Family of Comprehension

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

What hand reaching out to shake,
Does not support that?
What prolonged heartbreak,
Would stay wallowing in sorrow?
To borrow an excuse,
Or a chance not to view agony?
Close up and into a tear stained face.
You should not want that reflecting...
Everywhere,
And in every face you see.
Denial is the most contagious disease!
Everywhere,
And in every face you see.
Denial is the most contagious disease!

No thing is detached,
That keeps an attraction from coming back.
Something is attached to that.
And seriously repeated.

When done,
The meaning of that purpose...
Should not go misunderstood!
Like selling one 'pot' who requested 'crack'.
An end should come to that.
When the mind gets that whacked out.
And chained to keep one remaining unchanged.

If it does because of ignorance declared delicious?
That can be forgiven, allowed and forgotten.
We all have had our cravings.
However...
If it does come from an intention reeking in deceit?
That can be considered a good cause,
Some some severe cussing out!
And some folks have earned their cussing out,
Those deserving it...
Rights!

And some folks can be sadistic about it!
You can not cuss them out enough!
There are a number of them to unionize.

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

If it does come from an intention meant?
That can be shallow, obvious...
And an absence of common sense.
And an absence of it is more common than not!
If one ain't got it!
And an intention done lacking sense,
Wastes too much time.

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

A Big Question To Ponder!

Aim of all in the world is to win in all matters!
Is it enough if you succeed in getting a degree?
Is it enough if you work till retirement in the job?
Is it enough if you live long from birth to death?

What is the use of degree if you don’t get true knowledge?
What is the use of job if you don’t achieve anything?
What is the use of life if you don’t achieve satisfaction?
Sans knowledge, achievement and satisfaction life is vain!

Why are we caught between pleasure and pain to live so long?
What is the purpose of our creation in the world in particular?
This is the big question everyone has to ponder sooner or later;
There lies answer for all other questions to get truth to glory!

Don’t we feel it is a great waste of time not to have done so?
So, where does lie the mistake in the system we all operate so?

Couple Of Weeks

What makes a man weak
What makes a man strong
What makes him consider
The first or the latter
What he’s lost
what he’s won
If it all ever really mattered
There’s something about a biopsy
That can cause a man
to ponder
Over all the things he has
And what he’s done
And what’s over the horizon
Yonder

Waiting can do that
To a conflicted man, it’s truth
Makes him conjure up answers
To questions he seeks
Makes him know he’ll have answers
To at least some of the questions
Within a couple of weeks

Sonnet: Self-Meditation

If when you close your eyes, this world is gone,
An inner world comes into your purview;
And when you close your ears while all alone,
This world anew, you can better review.

And when your skin’s benumbed, outer world’s lost,
You can now look better into your mind;
The world inside has become yours and vast;
The things you yearned for, you can always find.

Now, when you blank your mind, this world too wanes;
A tranquil state prevails one never felt!
Without sadness or joy, trifles or pains;
Now, hold your breath and things will tend to melt.

Self-meditation makes a man feel God,
For, deep within his heart, resides the Lord!

This Noble Child

What consecrated thought; divine intent
Was there to cause this noble child to die?
To what avail to take what heaven sent;
This gift, how could the gods so justify?

Why probe the cosmic sea of mystery,
When answers to such questions are not found?
Seek, rather, what she left to memory,
All else is just conjecture to confound.

Her work accomplished on this conscious plane,
Fulfilling destiny, her purpose, life.
The knot was cleaved in two, this human skein.
She saw upon the dawn relief from strife.

She was to us as spirit weaves with mind,
As Self is earth and, heaven intertwined.
