She's built cold walls of fiction

She's built cold walls of fiction around her bleeding heart
to protect her from prediction that spring may bring fresh start,
imagined wrongs correcting, pain dissipating fast, -
much time she spent erecting tall walls which need not last.
Though hurt was felt, affliction, most wounded pride would chart,
revolt against restriction when spurned, too soon to part.
Whose fault? When facts inspecting, she found herself outcast
through error in selecting unworthy one miscast.

Refrain then from erecting defences unsurpassed,
when motives, aims, suspecting makes molehills mountains vast,
take life as benediction, wake to true Cupid's dart,
smooth over contradiction, let empathy impart
emotions intersecting, flag high and not half-mast,
no longer self-rejecting, dejection all aghast.
Self-confidence ends friction as tears and fears depart,
love conquers interdiction, joy triumphs, heals hurt heart.

Hopeful Hearts 1884

Oasis sharing empathy
Page follows page where shared hopes chart
Encouragement and sympathy.

Heart to heart, each day fresh start
Open door with no holds barred,
Phase follows phase, praise Cupid's dart
Eyes find in eyes completion starred.

Heart to heart may love impart
Offer understanding which
Plays dream supreme, part melts in part
Exchange dynamic, change, range rich.

When Feelings Fail to Flabbergast - 1968

Future today, tomorrow: past,
love's piper must be paid at last,
where two's no longer company
one's crowded out, one too many
fights pseudo superfluity
self-confidence at sea, aghast.

Too late is hell. Seek, rather, fast
to try new track, exile, outcast
unworthy partner, fake. Break free
from falsehood lacking harmony's
far better far than fragility
stretched out by thin elastoplast.

Life's boat cannot advance half-mast,
an appetite scorns cold repast,
‘alone' keeps credibility
preparing for fresh melody
by banishing futility
when feelings fail to flabbergast.

Causal love-links multicast
play games, dream's downfall seemed forecast
to herald heartbreak threnody
yet somehow primes rhyme's melody,
prime-time until eternity
mocks mortal bombast vain as vast.

Walls

Walls of stone and walls of brick,
Some walls thin and some walls thick,
Walls so high and walls so low,
Walls to hide and walls to show.

Walls quite short and walls quite tall,
Some walls, last well, some walls fall,
Walls for comfort, walls of hate,
Walls for security, walls ornate.

Some as a barricade, some to support,
Walls of wood and walls of iron wrought,
Walls as a barrier, walls to enclose,
Some are to sit on, some to lean and doze.

Walls we build ourselves, these aren't good,
Walls for privacy, walls that have stood,
So many years through weather foul or fine,
Walls, that are yours, walls that are mine.

Brick by brick they are built to last,
Whether built now or in the past,
They shelter us from so many things,
And shield us from whatever this life brings.

This Is My Hiding Place

as a child i was hurt
hurt so deeply with nowhere to tell how hurt i was once
with no other place to bury my tears
to shout my fears
there were no skies above me
there was no moon to confide
there were only walls

i have grown up
through layers and layers of silence
thick silence thicker than the earth of million years
strong and big and always
keen and piercing the walls that i have been used to
i have seen more about life's pains
and felt the dangers
that i have escaped and survived
i have become a man
and found this hiding place

my poetry.

INCITE INSIGHT

Can candlelight melt icy start,
incandescence stem descent,
incite renaissance, shared assent
discovering dream's counterpart?
May heart to heart though far apart
heartache soothe to circumvent
walls beyond walls which represent
apparent obstacles - impart
ardour surpassing Richter chart,
gift elan confident, lament
layers in lairs where hermit spent
temptation torment playing part?

Tenderness twins thoughts to teach
touch formal frontiers may outreach.

Two Walls

Before you stands to great big walls.
One is shame and one is guilt.
And these two walls that you hide behind.
These are the two walls that you've built.

I know of this, these last few days.
The time I did reflect.
Another wall it was called my pride.
And it's what I would protect.

Fight tooth and nail, lay my life down.
For whose life just did I fight?
For the people I hurt by my misdeeds?
Of course not, I was right.

'They deserved it all' I truly thought.
As I masked my inner pain.
'I did was was right' my pride replied.
And then the payback came.

It didn't feel so comfortable.
When I got back what I dished.
If pain is what you serve your friends.
Then it's for pain that you wish.

Do onto others as you do yourself.
It's what our savior taught.
You handed them what they deserved.
And deserved just what you got.

The painful truth I call it now.
When you live a life of lies.
So love your brothers and sisters here.
See through your Father's eyes.

Then never again do you have to live.
The life that you once lead.
The Father says He'll find the lost.
And raise them from the dead.

Chained Heart

Unchain this wounded heart: let the healing conquer the patches
Unchain this wounded soul: let love flow through it's crystal clear veins
Unchain me: Unchain my heart

Through your love: I found myself
Through your sorrow: I got hurt
Through your pain: I found never drying tears
Unchain me: Unchain my heart

I held on too long
I held on something strong
I held on something sincere
I held on something special

Unchain me: Unchain my heart

Am in a prison: A prison of love
Finding the key for unknown locks is complicated
Setting me free is the last option in his mind
For the pain: I went through
For the love your found hard to return
For the times you took me for granted
Unchain me: Unchain my heart;

Unchain me: Unchain my heart
A heart that loves you:
A heart that waited for you
A heart that is bleeding
A heart that is almost loosing its beat

Unchain me: Unchain this wounded heart of mine

Love: Don't Heartbreak Me

Love:
Where roses and chocolates
enrich a cold Valentine's Day
where love is as sweet as the name itself
and yet as cold as ice itself

for with love comes heartbreak
and with every heartbreak
comes pain and despair
where chocolate mends one's broken heart
and yet one's heart is struck with a knife

as sharp as glass and painful as hurt itself
where one's heart is melted away
into the deep dark chasms of heartbreak
slowly melting away like a candlestick into the night
dissipating incense of cries and tears

where the pain and hurt lies
forever haunting the soul of lives
for love is not a game, but a real thing
for love is sweet like chocolate
and cannot be unglued

for love is real and so is my love
which will always be true and cannot be unglued
so don't heartbreak me!

Act Of Depression

I tried to cry out from the inside,
But I guess my soul did not pour itself out enough
Blood on the walls, flaming black, blood on the walls,
I saw you staring through the cracks
No one was to know what was happening in me I felt no love,
I felt no reason to carry on with my life
Everything was wrong, nothing was right,
At least that is what I thought
Kids finding laughter at my expense
They were killing me on the inside they couldn't give up their pride
My heart was bleeding from so much grieving
On the outside I looked fine,
You couldn't tell but on the inside was eternal hell
I got caught up in the moment of depression,
and before I knew it my bodywas lying on the ground
With a gun in my hand my hourglass was out of sand
Thanks to all the people who drove me to death
Without you I could of never ended my breath
Through your anger and hate, I was able to choose my fate
There was a way out, but I chose the easy route
Blast of a gun, breath runs out, final thoughts put to extinction
No more pain, no more love,
For you have chosen suicide as the way out... help them
Ice cold fingers, body lays on the floor,
pool of blood you see, you scream out in terror
Her body is now a part of mutilation,
Her soul the victim of strangulation
I will not accept this evil anymore
I never thought of who I hurt or I never tried to look for the good
I'm sorry for whoever I hurt, it's not easy to look back on my life,
and know I did not know Christ
For now I live in a real hell
I wish I had another chance... then I would live my life with love

My True Love Hath My Heart, And I Have His

My true-love hath my heart, and I have his,
By just exchange, one for the other giv'n.
I hold his dear, and mine he cannot miss;
There never was a better bargain driv'n.
His heart in me keeps me and him in one,
My heart in him his thoughts and senses guides;
He loves my heart, for once it was his own;
I cherish his, because in me it bides.
His heart his wound received from my sight:
My heart was wounded with his wounded heart;
For as from me, on him his hurt did light,
So still me thought in me his hurt did smart:
Both equal hurt, in this change sought our bliss:
My true love hath my heart and I have his.

Pain and Hurt

born in to pain and hurt
growing in pain and hurt
living in pain and hurt
sleeping in pain and hurt
waking in pain and hurt
cuting in pain and hurt
bleeding in pain and hurt
crying in pain and hurt
i know nothing other then pain and hurt
i use drugs to end the pain and hurt
but all i get is pain and hurt
is there nothing other then pain and hurt
in this painful and hurtful world?

Love wasn't there

to feel this way was, is a crime
a crime to the heart
the heart, feels this way because love wasn't there

this feeling sunk up on the heart
took ahold of the heart and all the heart could do was
bleed

not blood, did the heart bleed but pain was the name
pain came in a liquiad but will the heart ever understand
how to cove up the womb

healing wasn't the process the heart had to go through
to stop the bleeding does it hurt to be hurt
does it hurt to bleed and unbleedable pain

yes said the heart it felt this way cause love wasn't there.

Time Heals

If youre bleeding,
Then everyone can see youre bleeding
They can call for the doctor,
Wholl provide what the diagnosis says youre needing
Then hell take away your pain
But if your heart,
Your heart has been broken
And you dont wear it on your sleeve
No one can tell,
Your hell goes unspoken
But theres one thing you must believe
Time heals the wounds no one can see
Time heals the wounds that no one can see
If youre crying
Then everyone can see you crying
And they all sympathize
But it just doesnt matter
Though they may be trying,
They cant feel the hurt inside
You cant go on,
Youve gone to the limit
And your life seems to slip away
Youre on your own
Alone you must face it
And tomorrows so far away
You got to hold on baby
Got to give it time to heal
Time heals the wounds that no one can see
You must believe what they say is true
It dos wonders for ya, yeah, yeah

The Inside Out

Right outside you see me smile
In your eyes you think I'm fine
So true and simple is what you see
You feel freedom is just in me
No pain No sorrow is all you see
And I end the day with just my laughs...

But from the start I was alone
And in my eyes tears just falls
All I have is a bleeding heart
Behind the walls of pain and sorrow
locked in a world behind my walls

Cant Bring Me Down

My chick is driving me crazy
She thinks that Im lazy
Just because Im good at nothing all day
My baby dont get it
So my job, I quit it
Bust my ass,
Hell I barely get paid
People like to put me down
And just because I hang around
Dont they understand its my way?
Chorus:
Everybody tries to break me
Say they love me when they hate me
Baby you just cant bring me down
Ive seen long and lonely days
And I have lost and found my ways
So baby you just cant bring me...down
Yeah, bring me down
Baby Im leaving
Youve got my heart bleeding
So Im taking the easier way out
The angel in my head
Is now the devil in my bed
If my walls could talk they would shout
Baby you can talk and talk
The hurt you caused, it just dont stop
I think Im going out of my brain
Chorus
Solo
I got a car, it go fast
Cute fuzzy dice up on the dash
Got a bumper sticker, just say peace
Keep a gun under my seat
To protect me from the pain
Should your words get in my brain
Cant you love me just the same
Cant you love me just the....
Chorus

Forbidden Lover (Self-composed lyrics)

(Verse1)
Death communicates with me,
Like a ghost rising from her grave.
I love her so, But my mind, it says no,
She knows that my hunger, I can't stave.

Blood races through my veins,
Like a shark through the sea.
I want her badly, I love her madly,
My heart beats wildy within me.

(Chorus)
Heart is wild, and it fits like a glove,
Soul is free, Cannot fight this inescapable love.
Hurt so strong, makes you wanna cry, mother,
Heart is ripped in half, But i still love the forbidden lover.

(Verse2)
Cupid strikes, and my body defies,
I wrench the arrow from my heart.
I am blind, she has overthrown my mind,
Love is strong, and this one's from the start.

(Chorus)

Romance and fears,
False sympathy and tears,
Heart and soul as one,
Burning like a sun.

Romance and fears,
False sympathy and tears,
Heart and soul as one,
Burning like a sun.

(Chorus x2)
