Depression
My liking for life has been stolen,
A thief came and took it away;
A visitor bent on destruction,
A burglar from hell, you might say.
I see via dark tunnel vision,
With the edges so dim and opaque;
My senses have been all but flattened,
My sanity now is at stake.
I see nothing good in the present,
My past is a far nicer place;
Of the future I may have been due to,
I see not a feasible trace.
The burden of living is heavy,
So heavy, and hauling me down;
A quagmire of dark contradictions,
Swamping my smile with a frown.
I decide to be done with this torment,
And make the decision alone;
I threaten the thief with eviction,
In the midst of my mind-battle-zone.
Almost robbed of all mental possessions,
I still know what's wrong and what's right;
The deceiver, in all of his glory,
I'll fight and I'll fight and I'll fight.
With the sword of the truth I then stick him,
With the shield of my reason, deflect
All his arrows of poisonous lying,
His falsehood and fear, I reject.
Now my liking for life is returning,
The enemy forced to retreat;
The hope in my heart, reappearing,
The thief? he lies dead at my feet.

Thief In The Night
She came and gone like a thief in the night
Though she wasn't a stranger she was my wife
She robbed and stole and then broke my heart
If only I knew how she really was from the start.
She came in my life so many years ago
At the junction of my life when I needed to grow
As I had searched the world and she I did find
Happy I had thought that we shared the same mind.
Then I found out she was pretty face with an evil soul
But sad to find out in truth that, that others also did know
She had used and cheated and lied in her past
And now I am not first and I know I will not be the last.
Now she has taken another victim by the hand
I wander how long he will be used until he will understand
But then he too is also a liar a coward and a thief
And sad to say his parents are the same as I do see.
He has the little man syndrome as I have been told
So onto a taller person he wishes upon to hold
With not many hairs on his head so he stands ashamed
So he keeps his head covered as though it is too rain.
They don't believe in GOD so they mock him every day
From the way they act to the lies that they say
And what kind of an examples are they to their daughters
GOD knows she isn't a good mother and he is no father.
Now I think of all the life's that she has affected
And also the many souls she has ruined and corrupted
Leading them all down an evil and sinful path
I wander if ever she hears the devil himself laugh.
And years from now when all will look back at this time
In part of their destruction they will see that fine line
It will be remembered and talked about and held in their sight
As it all began when she came and gone like a thief in the night.

As I Sit Here and Rot
I cannot stop these cravings
I just really want to shoot it
Oh, yes, I know the truth
Oh yes I fu*king blew it
I'm not sure where to turn
Or how to possbily hide it
I'm completely addicted now
And, I need not deny it
Everything has paused
It's like life has suddenly stopped
And I'm stuck craving this sh*t
As I sit here and rot
I cannot shake these feelings
Of being out of control
I cannot seem to retain
All that the Devil stole
I'm frightened now,

You'll Have Nothing To Fear
Do not fear the future or what it may hold,
It's you who'll decide it can never be told,
Nobody knows just what lies ahead,
Obeying your conscience can keep you in good stead.
By listening and learning your life you'll enhance,
Gain wisdom and knowledge and you'll stand a good chance,
Your mind is all yours and yours it can stay,
By doing what's right you're less likely to stray.
In both evil and good we're forever entwined,
It's the battle for life in which we're enshrined,
You and you alone will decide how you live,
Will you bear grudges or will you forgive.
There's good and bad throughout everyone's life,
Learning the difference can mean happiness or strife,
Bad influence by others can ultimately destroy,
But only if your intelligence you refuse to deploy.
How you view adversity should let you know,
What type of progress and how you will grow,
Will you say ‘' always me ‘' when things go wrong,
Or maybe fight back; show the world you're strong.
Can you say life's a challenge instead of it's cruel,
Is your glass half empty or is it half full,
It's that subtle difference which can make or break you,
To your inner self you must always stay true.
We cannot change what is now in the past,
Think of the consequences or you'll end up harassed,
Mistakes are what make us just who we are,
Just never repeat them and you're sure to go far.
Dismiss those errors and your future is doomed,
Very soon in wrong-doing you'll be consumed,
You'll ignore at your peril all you've been taught,
By behaving this way you'll end up distraught.
There are so many rewards for doing what's right,
Your own inner fire is what you'll ignite,
Not just your own but all those around,
Belief and happiness is what you'll have found.

Stole from five houses erst in full flight
Last was ours at late night
Must've been there enough sound definite
As the windows were cut open straight
And weapons, palm-logs caught later our sight
Stupid me, unusually slept without a shake slight
However usual time set me ready for a plight
Monition woke up to wake up my daughter's exam fright
By then back door slammed me down at a dark height
Alarmed tongue drove the legs to fall and fear and excite

Nudged my husband with all my might
Stirred up hubby locked out of his sleep freight
Just to let the chieftain out of sight
Wide- open back door, broken windows stood quite

My eyes may see the coming King in all His majesty
In company all dressed in white
But meanwhile here at the world's dark end
The dragon draws the iron curtain round against the Light
And souls grow weary in this war of Love
And seek their solace strolling down sweet civilian ways

The nations see no future waiting for the serpent to strike
Where have all the Christian soldiers gone
Where is the resistance, will no-one be strong
When will we stand up tall and straight
Rise up and storm the gate
How can we fail to get excited
The battle is ours why don't we fight it
Battalions of darkness rise above me
