A Poem to the Master
I get turned
Into a clean slate
The only movement
Discernible in that clean state
Is the silent gathering
Of throatful of tears
Raving to flow
Out to bathe
Me and 'me.'
Allow this vibrant
Fleeting wink of time
Be my light
My rhythm
My melody
Tuned by you,
My Master!

My Slate Is Clean of Miseries
There is a joy in me I know is seen.
'Cause I'm not uptight.
Looking for a fight,
No!
And if I do have any enemies...
May they live an afterlife,
In a realm that's more acceptible.
I've wiped my slate clean of those miseries.
None I wish to carry,
Or marry to be download.
I've sliced and diced all that away from me.
And I wont slit my wrists...
To bleed in dripping pity!
There is a happiness in me increased.
With a peace of mind I own,
Straight from sorrows I'd adopted.
I've had to learn to be away from disease.
To figure my life out.
And weed away all nonsense,
From my reach.
There is so much joy seen in me that's deep.
'Cause my jaws are not uptight,
Looking for a fight.
No!
And if I do have any enemies,
May they live an afterlife...
In a realm that's more acceptible.
And if I do have any enemies,
May they live an afterlife...
In a realm that's more acceptible.
And if I do have any enemies,
May they live an afterlife...
In a realm that's more acceptible.
And if I do have any enemies,

In a realm that's more acceptible.
I've wiped my slate clean of their miseries.

None I wish to carry,
Or marry to be download.
I've wiped my slate clean of their miseries.
None I wish to carry,
Or marry to be download.
I've wiped my slate clean of their miseries.
And none of that will chip away my peace!
There is a joy in me I know is seen.
'Cause I'm not uptight.

No!

Clear Vibrant Stars
I watch listen to the singer
singing the same old song
this is rhythm of life’s rhyme
but heart morbid is not sublime
these tears you bear are planted
too deep in absolute despair
drowning in own blood bleeding
is siren song none should hear
soul singing life’s praise
must search out star light
search out moon light not
mists of dark deadly night
Given the choice would you
bathe in waters happy or sad tears?
Mystic choice interesting question?
Bathe in cold warm or hot tears?
Me the tears of a pretty girl
the tears that made her happy.
Remember even when it is cloudy
clear vibrant stars are still shining.

Landscape #2
4 o 'clock in the morning
dusk retreating and morning light advancing
a boat floating ashore
the wind is timid and the sand is still a very clean slate
you look behind you
you find your own steps
you think someone is chasing you
and you walk that fast enough
afraid to be finally caught
by your own fears
you stop to find out if the mountain moves with you
the sea taunts you
alone and weary and so poetic at this time of the day
the wind whispers to your devotion: who reads you somehow?
who cares? who loves you?
someday? sometime? the sand is still a clean slate
you are not this kind of man who gets easily intimidated by this void
you sit on the shore and then you begin to write the initials of your name
someone loves you and you know
it begins foremost with you

The Cleanest Man....
he is clean
he prides about the beard
that he has
just shaven
he is clean
there is no hair left on his head
no hair between his thighs
and legs
he is clean
his chest is bare now
his heart slowly
beating
he is clean as he
is empty
like a room without
furniture and
drapes
he is clean and without
sin
he who has not done
anything
and can do not wrong again...
he is clean now
for he is dead....

Clean Up The World
Clean Up The World
Where have we gone?
We’ve drifted away
Too many years
Nothin’ to say
Too many years
Intentional lies
Too many years
Collegiate-laundered hipplets
Drivin’ us to demise
Got to clean up the world, clean up the world
Clean up the world, clean up the world
We’ve got to put that yuppie back in its cage
Along came McRonald
We got in its way
Too many years
Puppeteers played
Too many years
Stealing us blind
Too many years
Of totalitarians smothering us from the right
Got to clean up the world, clean up the world
Clean up the world, clean up the world
We’ve got to put that yuppie back in its cage
Their Wall Street money’s been holdin’ us fast
Ideals shallow and vain
They sell us all just to make it last
Revolution of ‘89 today
We got to clean up the world, clean up the world
Clean up the world, clean up the world
We’ve got to put that yuppie back in its cage
Self-centered cosmos
Material gain
Too many years
Deflecting their blame
Too many years
Stuffin’ their cart
Too many years
Deceit inside the head
Instead of love in their heart
Got to clean up the world, clean up the world
Clean up the world, clean up the world
We’ve got to put that yuppie back in its grave

The Light Is Always Green
We dig our models with the brains the size of models
And cars that we can trust with out wives
And we dig converstations with girls from every nation
But not the ones that whisper or tell lies
Wherever theres a will theres a motorway
Wherever there is greed there is speed
And theyve always got to be there for yesterday
Welcome to the new scalextrics breed
And the light they always show to them
Is green, green, green
And the heels they always show to me
Are clean, clean, clean
Were only flying past so we dig our sevice fast
From the waiters to the women to the wine
Never mind the match, Ive an urgent date to catch
Get me to the concert hall on time
Pretending to be pilots in a war
Pretending to weave between the flak
No-one knows what the missions for
Blinkered horses on the track
And the light they always show to them
Is green, green, green
And the heels they always show to me
Are clean, clean, clean

Figurehead
The sharp and open
Leave me alone
And sleeping less every night
As the days become heavier and weighted
Waiting
In the cold light
A noise
A scream tears my clothes as the figurines tighten
With spiders inside them
And dust on the lips of a vision of hell
I laughed in the mirror for the first time in a year^
A hundred other words blind me with your purity
Like an old painted doll in the throes of dance
I think about tomorrow
Please let me sleep
As i slip down the window
Freshly squashed fly
You mean nothing
You mean nothing
I can lose myself in chinese art and american girls
All the time
Lose me in the dark
Please do it right
Run into the night
I will lose myself tomorrow
Crimson pain
My heart explodes
My memory in a fire
And someone will listen
At least for a short while
I can never say no to anyone but you
Too many secrets
Too many lies
Writhing with hatred
Too many secrets
Please make it good tonight
But the same image haunts me
In sequence
In despair of time
I will never be clean again
I touched her eyes
Pressed my stained face
I will never be clean again
Touch her eyes
Press my stained face
I will never be clean again
I will never be clean again
I will never be clean again
I will never be clean again

Clean Things
Clean beasts must have split hoof and chew the cud,
Clean fish must have scales and fins,
Clean insects must have jointed legs above their feet to hop;
And like other clean things listed in your Bibe.

A New Start
The water licked down my back
as it gave birth to the purity
of a new year it aided the love
and tears the pain and fears
that i over came
it 3am in the morning
and a new year dawn on me
a new day lit up under
the moon lit horizon
eyes watered up as i try
to write.
The sky gave up
the playground and
all was needed
was the players
standing tall with
my back to last year
i walked out of
the dark and into
the light of a new era
shadows cast over my world
keeps the adrenaline in me running
as my momentum begins to flow
goals to be achieved as the slate
is wiped clean as
i start over again

For, ...whom I know not
When I’m with you
And you, with me
In that fleeting wink
The world assumes
A different hue
Me, no longer
What I’ve known
Myself to be…
The inner eye opens
And in that piercing light
I see my soul float in the air
A white feather
A snow flake
A transparent rain drop
Wait…
In that all engrossing silence
A distant melody that drew
The women of brindavan
To the elusive Krishna
Caresses me traveling
On the ripples of the silent yamuna
I’m everywhere
I’m nowhere
I transform into power personified…

Soiled Garments
He had a vindictive
wife once
who used his pliable
pledged heart
like an old worn
out hand-towel.
Wiped her feet
all over it
walked walked
all over it
then tore it
into strips
and threw it
to the garbage.
The funny thing is
old worn out hearts
don’t wash clean.
Soiled garments
don’t come clean
a single good soak
and clean
is not applicable.
Doesn’t wash out
all the stains.
Doesn’t wash out
the ground in pain.
Ground in deep pain
residue remains.
But time repeated washes
a good stain remover
love joy drying out on
life line bleach washes
old hearts clean with
radiant rays vibrant
sunlight sheen revealing
each days new wonder.

Tears are tears
Tears are tears
When the heart is torn
They flow without any fear
They come in pain
Doesn’t matter
Emotional or physical
In meeting or departing
What the mouth cannot speak
The tears say
What the heart cannot express
The tears express
A precious gift of god
To humans
Never hold them
Let them flow
They clean the eyes
And heart alike
A man without tears
Is a human without soul?

I Always Made Sure I Had On Clean Underwear
Now that I have aged.
And grown into an acceptance,
I can appreciate.
I clearly comprehend...
Why some then,
Thought of me quite unusual.
You see...
I've never had a dysfunction,
I did not enjoy.
Or believe my blackness,
Was for me a disability.
I had not been raised...
To become caught up in the 'self'.
Or let someone's anger strike fear in me.
When I was called names...
And could not either spell them,
Or find them in the dictionary...
I always made sure I had on clean underwear.
That's right!
I remember my mother use to always say to us...
'I don't care what you do or don't understand,
You make sure when you leave outta here...
You bathe and have on clean underwear.'
And 'that' has been my philosophy all my life.
That's the only one I've kept,
That has made any sense to me.
With few debates to argue,
Do I encounter.
Knowing if I am ever made to sweat...
At least I am clean.
And ready for inspection.

Travelin' Clean
By: jimmy buffett

You go to fargo
We'll meet in chicago
Travelin' light and travelin' clean
In a nine wheel blue and white travelin' machine
And i'm gone i'm movin' on yes i'm gone
Chorus:
No time to look back
We've crossed the last track
Travelin' free and travelin' wild
With my barefoot blue-eyed travelin' child
And i'm gone i'm movin' on yes i'm gone
Run away queen
Travelin' clean
You tell your mother
That you love another
Runnin' with a free-born man
That asks more of you than your hand
And you're gone you're movin' on yes you're gone
Run away queen
Travelin' clean
You go to fargo
We'll meet in chicago
Travelin' light and travelin' clean
In my nine wheel blue and white travelin' machine
And i'm gone
Come away, runaway queen
On her way and travelin' clean
Come away, runaway queen
On her way and travelin' clean

Clean
Today, everything was fine fine fine
Until roundabout quarter to 9, suddenly I found myself in a bind, a bind
Was it something I said
Something I read
And manifest thats getting you down
Dont you dare come to bed with that ambiguous look in your eye
Id sooner sleep by an open fire and wake up fried
Say what u will
Say what u mean
No, you could never offend
Your dirty words come out clean, clean
Tomorrow, what price will I pay
Could I make it all up to you by serving coffee for two in bed, would you then give me
The time of day
I need a map of your head, translated into english so I can learn to not make you frown
Feel better if you vent, put your frustrations into four letter words and let them out on
Mine
The most weathered ears in town!
Say what u will
Say what u mean
No, you could never offend
Your dirty words come out clean
Clean (x6)
Say what u will
Say what u mean
No, you could never offend
Your dirt words come out clean
Say what u will
Say what u mean
No, you could never offend
Your dirty words come out clean, clean

Clean white sheets
Clean white sheets upon my bed
cradle my body but not my head.
My head's never cradled. It's too full.
It's too noisy. There is no lull.
I wash them routinely every week.
If I hung them outside the neighbors would speak.
Their words would complement the sight
of clean white sheets I use at night.
But they don't know how I'm awake
and how those sheets never give me a break.
I make the bed up and I think
'If only I could catch a wink.'
I'd praise those sheets on every day
and finally I'd be able to say.
'Clean white sheets upon my bed
you've found a way to cradle my head.'

Eternity Rain
Let this rain wash me
Let it wash my virtual sins
Clean my sorrow from the sins of my fathers
Clean my self form this dirt call life
From the false tells of creation
And clean my mind from the empty words of priest
From the dirty political speech
Let this holy rain clean my sorrow form the sin of love
Sin of being the truthful in this life
I want to clean my mind from the thought control
Clean my head form my mum fairy lies
It need the eternity to clean out my soul and my life from this life dirt
To be clean again i need eternity rain
