If I don't think about anything, and start with a clean slate, in terms of what I have to do, a lot of different ideas come up, and I can think about things more openly.

My Slate Is Clean of Miseries
There is a joy in me I know is seen.
'Cause I'm not uptight.
Looking for a fight,
No!
And if I do have any enemies...
May they live an afterlife,
In a realm that's more acceptible.
I've wiped my slate clean of those miseries.
None I wish to carry,
Or marry to be download.
I've sliced and diced all that away from me.
And I wont slit my wrists...
To bleed in dripping pity!
There is a happiness in me increased.
With a peace of mind I own,
Straight from sorrows I'd adopted.
I've had to learn to be away from disease.
To figure my life out.
And weed away all nonsense,
From my reach.
There is so much joy seen in me that's deep.
'Cause my jaws are not uptight,
Looking for a fight.
No!
And if I do have any enemies,
May they live an afterlife...
In a realm that's more acceptible.
And if I do have any enemies,
May they live an afterlife...
In a realm that's more acceptible.
And if I do have any enemies,

Sonnet 59 for Dad
I'm thinking, Dad, that soon, maybe, we'll meet;
at least, that's how it seems from what I hear;
the info's not at all clear on this point:
like, where exactly; and what will I wear,
and shall I bring you something; if so, what?
I'm not too easy, Dad, about all this:
like, am I sure to find you in that lot?
And, will we treat each other like - we did,
or as we should now (God knows how you'll be...) :
and, will we need to talk about past pain?
('cos that's what's really, really bugging me...) :
or can we wipe the slate clean, start again?
Dad - were you proud of me? You never said...
Dad - love you; are things better, now you're dead?

Poet's Heart
A poem is like a wild rose
Your ideas bloom into something as it grows
Some your ideas flow clear and beautiful like a song
And sometimes those thoughts turn into sadness about things that go wrong
But the most important things to remember is where those ideas start.
And that is from a Poet's Heart

Nothings Lasts Forever
i
the termites are happy
for i have chosen wood,
and learning my lesson
i use steel
the sea breeze sings
with its salt

the cement may be the solution
or the asphalt
and yet my mind changes
wanting to break the hardness
of the stuff
iii
i like things that last
they say i must have the diamonds
oh! something that we cannot eat?
iv
the body turns to dust
the soul escapes
ideas even on paper
meet the burning

footprints on the sand
eaten by the waves
a new slate is ready
i step again and again
now i do not really mind
what prints are there
what word is spoken
what ideas grow

Most critical writing is drivel and half of it is dishonest. It is a short cut to oblivion, anyway. Thinking in terms of ideas destroys the power to think in terms of emotions and sensations.

I think there is a difference between Slate and Salon. I think we both serve important functions on the Internet. As more and more Websites disappear, I'm thankful Slate is still around because it makes things less lonely.

A toothbrush rush
Could I try to
Save self, save us, save the world?
Let's take one soft tooth brush
and start to clean own heart
of every dark spot,
or rust stain
or the mischievous thought
before it comes to be
a putrid mould.
Brush kindly
for rebel stains
that out comes not
in tears soak.
Put more energy,
one gram of salt
and bit more energy
rub well to truly clean
until becomes pristine.
Then go to those near by
with new tooth brushes
as humble gift
and teach them, show
how you have cleaned
own soul.
Then together
take more brushes
and start to clean some more
maybe the biggest dirt of world,
own violent mind, let the clean be done
kindly, by a homely toothbrush.
Then with a peaceful heart
Done to the people of entire earth
from the pit to the top
once brushed, gurgle
and also rinse the big mouth
We can then start
with all the other
things around
Hard to select
But let's start first
To get rid of our biggest s...t
Lets make the world as well as we,
...nuclear...
Free.
Peacefully, with patience
let's give our earth clean
Love.

Landscape #2
4 o 'clock in the morning
dusk retreating and morning light advancing
a boat floating ashore
the wind is timid and the sand is still a very clean slate
you look behind you
you find your own steps
you think someone is chasing you
and you walk that fast enough
afraid to be finally caught
by your own fears
you stop to find out if the mountain moves with you
the sea taunts you
alone and weary and so poetic at this time of the day
the wind whispers to your devotion: who reads you somehow?
who cares? who loves you?
someday? sometime? the sand is still a clean slate
you are not this kind of man who gets easily intimidated by this void
you sit on the shore and then you begin to write the initials of your name
someone loves you and you know
it begins foremost with you

This Day
This day,
like all the days
that have ever preceded it,
starts with a rigid annotation,
forceably saying,
the sublime night
has wiped the slate clean,
here and now in this moment of beginning
all things are new,
no more yesterdays,
and not yet any tomorrows,
this is all there is,
it is a new day,
make something of it,
and of yourself.

Ideas For Walls
So many things in my head, Ive always had them before
No reason to be upset, theyre just ideas for walls
Now Im standing inside, outside, which is the right side
Im standing, demanding that the nightlife be called the right life
Like putting paint on my feet & walking sideways in rows
My walls could be so complete, complete with patterns of toes
Now Im standing inside, outside, which is the right side
Im standing the left side, right side, which is the right side
Now-ideas
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
A little m for the mirror, a double u for the wall
To make things perfectly clear, a great big h in the hall
Now Im standing inside, outside, which is the right side
Im standing, demanding that the nightlife be called the right life
Is everybody confused? (no) Im making no sense at all
You want a room with a view you need ideas for walls
Now Im standing inside, outside, which is the right side
Im standing inside, outside, outside, right side
Inside, outside, which is the right side
Now -- ideas
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
Ideas
Theyre just ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls

A Poem to the Master
I get turned
Into a clean slate
The only movement
Discernible in that clean state
Is the silent gathering
Of throatful of tears
Raving to flow
Out to bathe
Me and 'me.'
Allow this vibrant
Fleeting wink of time
Be my light
My rhythm
My melody
Tuned by you,
My Master!

Clean
Eat clean,
Live clean,
Sleep clean,
dress clean,
Walk clean,
Learn clean,
Play clean,
Think clean,
dance clean,
Talk clean,
Sing clean,
work clean,
Because the world around you is watching what you do;
You are the only one on this earth,
So live and let us live too.

Your Hero
I wanted to be your hero
To cure your dying heart
I figured all you needed
Was just a clean new start
So I helped you put the past behind
And begin your life anew
What I never counted on
Was falling in love with you
It made things complicated
Things just couldn't work out
I saw you start to falter
I felt you start to doubt
I wanted to be your hero
To take away your hurt
I didn't mean to bury you
Under 6 feet of dirt

Savin Up
You may have diamonds
You may have pearls
You may think you got it baby
Over all the other girls
But honey you aint got nothing
And Ill tell you why
If youre empty as a soul can be, baby
Deep down inside
You better start savin up
For the things that money cant buy
You better start savin up
For the things that money cant buy
You better start savin up
For the things that money cant buy
You better start savin up
For the things that money cant buy
You may have a big backyard
And ruby rings
And my loves just a second-place runner, honey
To your fancy things
But what you got to hold on to
When the lights go down
You come lookin for me baby
But I aint nowhere around
You better start savin up
For the things that money cant buy
You better start savin up
For the things that money cant buy
You better start
You need a strong man, baby
To love and understand you
A man who aint afraid, sugar
To get some dirt on his hands for you
And when youre feeling so down-hearted
And all you wanna do is cry
Ah, just come on, take my hand, baby
Together you and i
We could start savin up
For the things that money cant buy
Wed better start savin up
For the things that money cant buy
You better start savin up
For the things that money cant buy
You better start savin up
For the things that money cant buy

Ideas must be put to the test. That's why we make things, otherwise they would be no more than ideas. There is often a huge difference between an idea and its realisation. I've had what I thought were great ideas that just didn't work.

Clean Things
Clean beasts must have split hoof and chew the cud,
Clean fish must have scales and fins,
Clean insects must have jointed legs above their feet to hop;
And like other clean things listed in your Bibe.

Somehow
Somehow I found myself telling the truth
Somehow I found myself into you all the way through
Somehow I found it hard to keep it to myself
Somehow I found myself dustin’ of past dust of the shelf…
Cause’ I wanted to start on a clean slate, wanted you to be my soul mate.
Sometimes dreams can’t be turned into reality, loving you was insanity.
So I know sometime in the future I’ll give up on you and me, I’ll give up on what we could have been.
I rest my case, hide my heart in a safe place, never to return again, And away from this pain…

A New Begin
When things is going horrible and
The way you think expect to happen
Then you need to start
A new begin
Give yourself another chance
Take one step at time
I used to be person where
I'm scared for changes,
Take a crazy risk,
A shy girl and can't stand up for herself
That's not me anymore
I have grown up and matured
I'm different Christina
I don't regret things anymore
I don't think about past and want
To reach for the goal
It brand new slate to start over and
A new begin
For you and me
I think you can do it again
Don't spend your time thinking or say what if
You are wasting your time
Just stand back up
I believe you
Don't say you are falling in
Black hole and you are trap forever
By someone you can't stop loving so much
The world is not over for you
A new begin
We should try
Don't wait too long
Take your chances
A new begin
