I saw Tequila Sunrise as a romantic picture with complex, bigger than life characters.

Tequila Sunrise
It's another Tequila Sunrise
Staring slowly cross the sky
I said goodbye
And he was just a hired hand
Working on the dreams he planed to try
As days go by
And ever night when the sun goes down
Just another lonely boy in town
And shes out runnin' round
She wasn't just another woman
And I couldn't keep from coming home
It's been so long
Ho and it's a hollow feeling
When it comes down to seeing friends
It never ends
Take another shot at courage
And wonder why the right words never come
You just get none
It's another Tequila Sunrise
this whole world still looks the same
another friend

Bigger Picture
Im starting to see a bigger picture
Im beginning to colour it in
Im starting to see a bigger picture
Im beginning to colour it in
My soul the sky, my heart a sun
My mind a world - my only one
My thoughts the people, the world around
My dreams the kings - or the clowns
Im starting to see a bigger picture
Im beginning to colour it in
Im starting to see a bigger picture
Im beginning to colour it in
The continents and the seven oceans
Bound the range of my emotions
My time is long but not forever
My moods are the changing wind and weather
Im starting to see a bigger picture
Im beginning to colour it in
Im starting to see a bigger picture
Im beginning to colour it in
Colour it in !
Colour it in !

A Romantic Life Adventure!
Sentimental, emotional, great characters love romantic life;
Passionate, engaged and attached they like to live long life;
Fun, entertainment and amusements they have in romance;
Romantic love life these human beings live true to heart ever!
Longing for love they do all to get the hand of sweet heart;
Love, marriages and divorces and love again they try ever!
For the satisfaction of the self they do romance forever here
And live alone ever in life longing for love till the end comes.
Romantic fellows lament about the friends and loves lost in life;
Beginning, middle and end the means followed never the same
Because adventure is the spice and taste of romantic life here;
Many yet live romantic life because the pleasure is exotic ever!
A romantic life is the dream of many a guy and girl since long
Though success is rare failures they are ready to face and die!

Mr. Big Toe Magically Transforms
Mr. Big Toe” magically gets so big
he has magical powers, he never worked out in the gym.
Mr. Big Toe now has sweet memories,
memories of the Krendoll characters so sweet.
Mr. Big Toe can’t figure out why he feels so happy inside,
he now has a colorful outfit with a bigger tie,
Mr. Big Toe is so happy he has a new magical life.
Transformed Mr.Big Toe is what the neighbors think,
they see Mr. Big Toe so happy to be alive,
Mr. Big Toe is so happy for he can’t deny,
Mr. Big Toe gets so big, tears came to his eyes.
Mr. Big Toe gets bigger and bigger; but he makes it outside
Outside to see the sunshine, he is no longer inside.
Then it rains and makes a lot of mud,
Mr. Big Toe doesn’t mind if he gets stuck.
Stuck in the mud goes Big Gigantic Toe,
then his friend Mrs.Hamburger Helper Hand—
helps him because he understands…
how excited Big Toe is to get so Big…
big like the biggest Big Toe that had magically grown,
Magical like Pinocchio’s very Long nose.

O'Neill presents a very complex multi-layered kind of challenge. His characters are always deeply complex and, to a great extent, inaccessible.

Normally, we see characters that have God complexes. How interesting, I thought, it would be to capitalize on that. And say, OK, well fine, you have a God complex, well this person has a Satan complex. And the doctor chooses to treat him scientifically.

Tequila Mockingbird
(pam tillis/mel tillis, jr.)
Its a slow, smoky scene at the county line cantina
Where strangers stop to hear her sing a song
Shes a legend round these parts
For stealing all the hearts of cowboys on their way to san antone
She used to be a desert rose with ballerina toes
But that wasnt in the cards she chose to play
The pages of her life are wrinkled, but her spanish eyes still twinkle
Every time she steps out on the stage
Tequila mockingbird, flying underneath the neon moon
Tequila mockingbird, dreaming of a love that ended too soon
She sings the saddest song you ever heard
So bittersweet
Tequila mockingbird, tequila mockingbird
Well now once she had a man, and they called him diamond dan
He was wild and reckless as a mustang stud
til one night tequila found him with the gamblers gathered round him
Lyin in a pool of cheaters blood
Tequila mockingbird, flying underneath the neon moon
Tequila mockingbird, dreaming of a love that ended too soon
She sings the saddest song you ever heard
So bittersweet
Tequila mockingbird, tequila mockingbird
She sings ooh hoo, woo hoo hoo
It wasnt God who made those blue neon angels
Ooh woo hoo hooh
I know hes waiting on the other side for me
Tequila mockingbird, flying underneath the neon moon
Tequila mockingbird, dreaming of a love that ended too soon
She sings the saddest song you ever heard
So bittersweet
Tequila mockingbird, tequila mockingbird
She sings ooh hoo, woo hoo hoo
She sings ooh hoo, woo hoo hoo ooh

Small Victories!
small minds, small dreams,
small prayers, small God.
small thoughts, small answers,
to questions not small!
playing the race game,
the salvation game,
the mine and yours game,
the right and wrong game.
like cattle herded
unknowingly to slaughter.
every body a ticket,
to pay the fare.
bigger picture, bigger concepts,
bigger than i and me!
bigger risk, bigger world,
bigger choices, small victories.

Be Not The Characters
Be not the characters,
Of fictitious and romantic tales,
And alluring folk legends;
How can we elope,
To the shadowy sheltering world,
Far away from the indifferent community,
All fatally against the lovers,
How can we escape from the net,
Woven around with the lacerating thread,
Of customs;
Romantic characters only suit,
To the dreamy books, films and fictions,
Or they are the substance of folk tales;
But in the world of reality,
Those who follow the counsel,
Of the unbridled hearts are lashed,
Flogged, whipped and thrashed,
And have to suffer nothing but pangs.

Tequila Talkin'
I called about that conversation that I had with you last night
It must have been a combination of shooters and neon lights
And I didn't really mean to say
I've been losing it since you left
Yeah I may have said the words, but they came from somewhere else
It was just the tequila talkin'
When I told you I'm still not over you
I get a little sentimental when I've had one or two
And that tear in my eye was the salt and the lime
Not the memory of you walkin'
If I said I'm still in love with you
It was just the tequila talkin'
I don't know what they put in Cuervo that got me to say those things
Usually I wouldn't care so much of make such a scene
But seeing you there in that dress you were wearing
Just drove me right out of my head
So don't hold me responsible for anything I might've said
It was just the tequila talkin'
When I told you I'm still not over you
I get a little sentimental when I've had one or two
And that tear in my eye was the salt and the lime
Not the memory of you walkin'
If I said I'm still in love with you

My World
Your stuck on a chain
And your toeing a lie
Seems like everytime that you catch up
You only fall behind
And your trapped inside this world you made yourself
but that's not the world I live in
this is not the life for me
cause my world is bigger than your problems
and it's bigger than me
that's not the world I live in
this is not the life for me
cause my world is bigger than your problems
and it's bigger than me
There is always someone to blame
for the things you do yourself
you think that everything that's going wrong
is because of someone else
And your trapped inside this world you made yourself
that's not the world I live in
this is not the life for me
cause my world is bigger than your problems
and it's bigger than me
it's not the world I live in
this is not the life for me
cause my world is bigger than your problems
and it's bigger than me [2x]
cause i'm lonely outside and i'll look on in
And that's not the world I live in
this is not the life for me
cause my world is bigger than your problems
and it's bigger than me
it's not the world I live in
this is not the life for me
cause my world is bigger than your problems
and it's bigger than me
cause my world is bigger than your problems
and it's bigger than me...

Big Toe Saves The Day
Big Toe wants to meet Razel who is so mean,
he heard she freezes Krendoll characters when they dream.
Now Big Toe caught up with her the other day,
she was trying to freeze the party of Melodie Mezoree’.
Big Toe got in the way,
and grew ten feet tall which was more than O.K.
He grew bigger and bigger like Big Tomatoe,
all the Krendoll dolls where scared they didn’t know.
Then Razel tried to freeze, freeze, this gigantic Big Toe-
Then Big Toe squirted out Oil of Oregano
on to Razel who melted fast not slow,
everyone knew now Big Toe is the hero!
Then Big Toe looks all around,
he notices nobody is to be found.
By this time all Melodie’s party had disappeared,
they were somewhere else which Big Toe had feared.
Luckily he caught up with them the very next day,
after they gave him a metal that said
“Big Toe Saved The Day”.

Intro
Now the time has come
The music's between us
Though the night seems young
Is at an end
Only change will bring
You out of the darkness
In this moment everything is born again
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Now the fireball burns
We go round together
As the planet turns into the light
Something more than dreams to
Watch out for each other
Coz we know what it means to be alive
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Feel the new day enter your life
Feel the new day
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life

Waiting For The Sunrise
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I can take your hand and stroll about.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go on the streets and see the people smile.
Give me your hand,
So I could tell you that things will be alright.
The rooms still dark,
But it wont be so long,
And I can take you outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go to the park and roll about.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go to the docks and watch the boats go by.
Come on, love, give me your hand,
And things will be alright.
The rooms still cold,
But it wont be so long,
That we can go outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I could see your hair shining in the air.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I can see the sky reflected in your eyes.
Come on, love, dont be depressed,
Things will be alright.
The rooms too low,
But it wont be so long,
That we can be outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise.
