Birth-Dues

Joy is a trick in the air; pleasure is merely
contemptible, the dangled
Carrot the ass follows to market or precipice;
But limitary pain -- the rock under the tower
and the hewn coping
That takes thunder at the head of the turret-
Terrible and real. Therefore a mindless dervish
carving himself
With knives will seem to have conquered the world.

The world's God is treacherous and full of
unreason; a torturer, but also
The only foundation and the only fountain.
Who fights him eats his own flesh and perishes
of hunger; who hides in the grave
To escape him is dead; who enters the Indian
Recession to escape him is dead; who falls in
love with the God is washed clean
Of death desired and of death dreaded.

He has joy, but Joy is a trick in the air; and
pleasure, but pleasure is contemptible;
And peace; and is based on solider than pain.
He has broken boundaries a little and that will
estrange him; he is monstrous, but not
To the measure of the God.... But I having told
you--
However I suppose that few in the world have
energy to hear effectively-
Have paid my birth-dues; am quits with the
people.

It was taunted as reality. It was dangled as a carrot. In terms of people's hopes and dreams, to say that that is less of a reality than the daily grind they find themselves in is maybe not correct.

Lead Balloon

Kiss my ass! I said
And I threw my drink
Tequila trickling
Down his business suit
Must be the irish blood
Fight before you think
Turn it now
You cant cowtow
You cant undo it
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
An angry man is just an angry man
But an angry woman
Bitch!
I had to ask him for a helping hand
It came with the heart
Of a bonaparte
Of a frozen fish
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon

You Yield To the Wrong Way

Your mind has been scattered away,
With...
Those dangled wishes,
Just to keep you addicted.

Your mind has been scattered away,
With...
Those dangled wishes,
Just to keep you addicted.
And you reach up for the stars,
But not a lift you get.
And you've become so vicious.

Your mind has been scattered away,
With...
Those dangled wishes,
Just to keep you addicted.
And something inside you,
Said STOP!
But you yield to the wrong way.
And you went ahead to drop...
Your head in dismay.

Your mind has been scattered away,
With...
Those dangled wishes,
Just to keep you addicted.

Your mind has been scattered away,
With...
Those dangled wishes,
Just to keep you addicted.
And something inside you,
Said STOP!
But you yield to the wrong way.

And that's why your head has dropped,
Because you yield to the wrong way!

Today I will go once again

And lead the army of my songs
To duel against the market tide.

After The County Show

“Hello carrot, my word you do look tasty.”
“Oh, hello knife you too look pretty sharp
a cut above the rest I’d say, but let’s not be too hasty.”

“I say carrot, are you here for today’s county dinner? ”
“No, no not I, I’m a showpiece,
voted best of the show, a gold ribbon winner.”

“I knew you were special, lying next to the sole from Dover,
but surely you must know what you’re doing here
now that the county show is over? ”

“I reckon they want to show me off to all the local villagers.”
“Somehow carrot I think you’d better reckon again,
whilst I slice up the beans and cabbages.”

Falling Angel

(duran duran)
From this cloud where I hang, dangled in the blue
I spy you all tiny creatures on the ground below
For my being reckless got me strung up in the sky
Love is flawed now, see the lawless cry
Cut my cord now, better then, better off to die
Here am i, your falling angel, dangled in the blue
Im your angel, and I wish that I could be like you
Its my time, all I have for my crime is such
Knowing that the thing I love is that which I cant touch
So I watch your fragile beauty changing in the sun
Love is flawed now, see the lawless cry
Cut my cord now, better then, better off to die
But here am i, your falling angel, dangled in the blue
Im your angel, how I wish that I could be with
Falling angel, dangled in the blue
Im your angel, and I wish that I could be like you
I believe in you, I dont believe it all
But I believe in you, I dont believe it all
But I believe in you, I dont believe it all
But I believe in you, I dont believe it all
But I believe in you, I dont believe it all
But I believe in you, I dont believe it all
But I believe in you

Easily Spotted When On The Move

I've been taught not to buckle,
From a cursing done.
Or fall on my knees with anguish,
When my way is blocked.
And my steps become delayed,
With expressed dismay.

None of my dreams seemed,
To have been dangled like a carrot...
As if to tease until someone believed,
I had earned the merit...
To be the 'me' I have paid the price to project.

And not a stage or spotlight did I seek.
Who knew such decoys would be effective?
Only I knew what I sought to reach!

Perhaps those that did not know that,
Planted obstacles on the wrong road to teach.
Or the path of my choice...
Was not suspected to be the one I chose!
Or one that I could successfully complete.
Either way,
Naysayers are easily spotted when on the move!

Hibernation

Hibernation

Occupy falling snow; claim it make a snowman with coal eyes and
carrot nose before winter is over and your task runs through your
fingers as water into soft the soil and is privatized when it runs into
a deep lake and you must pay if you want a drink or take a shower.
A carrot not enough to make soup, pieces of coal are not enough to
warm your cold hands. The barons of money have bought streams,
forests and mountains, fenced in and there are gates, you must pay
if you want to walk and see nature at her most enthralling liberty.
And you will think; where is our emancipation to express ourselves?
Nothing is free, why should it be? This is democracy the right to buy
and sell the world’s resources and charge whatever the market says.
And you pay for what is rightfully yours. If you do not occupy it now it
will be too late, spring is the name of misery and it is your fault for
sleeping when snow fell in your garden.

Carrot before rabbit

Carrot gets value in front of a rabbit
And the rabbit wets its tongue, pursuing.
Once bitten, Carrot loses its value.
The distance generates value and saliva
Woman keeping men at an arm length values

To offer at no cost

Shown or withdrawn,
The carrot is not eaten.
But only as it is shown
The rabbit is on run
And the carrot, too, is shone.

If you are withdrawn
I would cease to run
And you lose the fun.
Why is this futile act then?

If you shut out
I am done away with.
If you show up
I am enlivened.
In both ways
You’re not broken.
Why not the status quo, then?

Rowan Atkinson

Get that right, then- if you get the quality right, then the marketability or whatever; your ability to sell videos or your ability to earn money or whatever, will follow naturally. But try to be creatively lead rather than market lead. And that's important to me.

A Chase

Since birth
It's an endless chase.
A carrot was hung before me
And I was made to run.

Run....run......
Surpass others
Make sure you grab it
Before anyone.

The carrot went on
Changing its nature and color
Once you hung it for me
Now see, I have my own.

Once a compulsion
Now an instilled obsession
Drives me hard
Says, run and run.

Dropped humanity
Lost love
Stay behind;
Time for none.

Is it all I am here for?
Bother sometimes
A raising question.

Quagmire

They call on the spirits of a dead man to save them.
They are on the precipice of a financial disaster.
Remaining on a course that should not have begun!
And they are saying someone who wishes to lead them,
Out of their own quagmire has no experience.
That may be the best news anyone has heard in years!

I think the market is always going to be around. The goal is not to say, let's get rid of the market, because the market does render a huge number of services, and I don't want to have a fight about the price of something every time I buy a book or a bottle of water.

Dormouse and a Ghost

This rare creature used to sleep all over the winter.
When the winter was over, one night the poor man heard
Somebody was scuffing the ragged doormat.
Then he slightly opened the door and peeped.
He saw it was scurrying away.
The next day at the same time
Scraping sound came.
He opened the door and kept a carrot on the mat.
This habit continued until the undernourished man died.
But it came as usual to the haunted house and there was always a carrot on the mat.
