I'd like to do a story about the medieval ages where in every scene you'd sort of feel that you were in the 12th century. That would be great to get that feeling.

Craft, Faith And Narrative
Craft, faith and narrative all fuse,
creating medieval art;
if you add the inspiration of the muse
you get the Bible. À la carte,
it serves you narratives and laws and psalms
created with both faith and craft,
but ultimately it’s the muses’ charms
that turn the inspiration’s draft
into a record of encounters made
with God by people searching for
a destiny that they cannot evade
by writing, their esprit de corps.
Its manuscript is not illum-
inated, since it comes from ages
that though dark became the wonderwomb
whose generations are its pages.
Roberta Smith writes about the renovation of the medieval galleries in the Metropolitan Museum (“Illuminating the Dark Ages, ” NYT, December 5,2008) :
Of the three great artistic histories that extend for many centuries, and galleries, from the Great Hall at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Byzantine-Medieval epic is the most discreet. The Egyptian and the Greek and Roman wings are signaled by highly visible statues and tombs that start waving hello almost before you clear security. In contrast, the story of art starting in Bronze-Age Europe lies mostly out of sight in galleries that lie beside and behind the Grand Staircase…. As part of the Met’s original, central structure, the new Medieval Art gallery has always been a heavily trafficked intersection. It shouldn’t really work as a gallery of sacred art and yet it does. Its many small objects draw you close, away from the bustle, into a realm where craft, faith and narrative were

Twentieth Century Fox
Well, shes fashionably lean, and shes fashionably late
Shell never wreck a scene, shell never break a date
But shes no drag, just watch the way she walks
Shes a twentieth century fox, shes a twentieth century fox
No tears, no fears, no ruined years, no clocks
Shes a twentieth century fox, oh yeah
Shes the queen of cool, and shes the lady who waits
Sent to manless school, it never hesitates
She wont waste time, on elementary talk
cause shes a twentieth century fox, shes a twentieth century fox
Got the world locked up, inside a plastic box
Shes a twentieth century fox, oh yeah
Twentieth century fox, oh yeah
Twentieth century fox
Shes a twentieth century fox

The Swinging Universe
reading a 13th century poet
feeling the sun circling round me
and all the inaccuracies it cast onto me
reading a 20th century poem
feeling the earth circling round the sun
and all its limitations
reading a 30th century poem
feeling the whole universe circling round us
and the privilege to play with its power
reading a 40th century poem
feeling the privilege to swing the
whole universe around us

Twentieth Century Fox
Written by The Doors
Well, she's fashionably lean
Hey and she's fashionably late
She'll never gonna wreck a scene
She'll never break a date
But now she's no drag
Just watch the way that she walks
She's a twentieth century fox
She's a twentieth century fox
She's got world, she's got the world
All locked up inside a plastic box
She's a twentieth century fox, oh yeah
She's the queen of cool
And she's the lady who waits
Sent to manless school
She never gonna hesitate
Well know she don't waste her time
On all this elementary talk
She's a twentieth century fox
She's a twentieth century fox
She got the world, babe,
Now she got this world
She got it all locked up
Inside some kind of plastic plastic box
She's a Twentieth century fox, oh yeah
She's a Twentieth century fox, oh yeah
She's a Twentieth century fox, oh yeah
She's a Twentieth century fox

't was nineteen ninety something
the end of a century a re-do re-new
bright through millennium piercing
ages ages long creeds into broad brands 'k
we thought would never end
broken slips into the land of Thai
on tip of a holiday never brought any weather with
said nothing no word no eye no nothing at all
no weather at all just climates on the ice caps
sea stones and ice for a winter too cold for a 'k
thought of sort of broken news the breaking hearts
marching lines for a re-do re-new re-done trilogies
prologues epilogues maximes tombstones empty signs
stand stripped and astray deep sorrow hooded
who on top of what whenever understood
all the ways of all the aches 'k
did you

Crazy Feeling
Youre the kind of person that Ive been dreaming of
Youre the kind of person that I always wanted to love
And when I first seen you walk right through that bar door
And I seen those suit and tie johns buy you one drink
And then buy you some more, I had a
I know you had that crazy feeling
Now, now, now, youre got that crazy feeling
You know that Ive had that crazy feeling, too
I can see it in your
You got that crazy feeling
Now, now, now, now, now, you got that crazy feeling
Ive had that crazy feeling, too
Now everybody knows that business ends at three
And everybody knows that after hours love is free
And you, you really are a queen
Oh, such a queen, such a queen
And I know, cause I made the same scene
I know just what you mean, because
You got that crazy feeling
Now, now, now, youre got that crazy feeling
You got that crazy feeling deep inside
Now, I can see it in your eyes
You got that crazy feeling
Now, now, now, youre got that crazy feeling
And you got that crazy feeling, too
I feel just like, feel just like you
(crazy feeling, crazy feeling)

My Boyfriend
When I hear your voice I get a tingle feeling inside me
When you hug me I feel free
But when we kiss it's another story
I always will worry
That the story won't be a happy ending
No more pretending
I hope you feel the same
Even if I am not famous

Feeling your absence
Why sometimes i feel tense,
seems as somethings keep its fence
around me n my mind,
that moment not able to do anything,
behave in very confusing n strange manner,
what happened, me not getting anything,
my mind in some sort of panic,
but then it comes to my conscious damn ironic
me in confusion,
due to some sort of illusion,
but even after knowing the reason,
dun find any solution in my vision,
its the same feeling keeping me still,
feeling ur absence,
lacking ur comments, voice,
ur care,
my life full with irony
slowly losing each symphony...

12th August
You are my august lady who visited me on the 12th of August,
And the abosolute proof of your love cannot be denied!
For you met what you wanted on this date.
She was as sweet as the apples and,
She motivated me to move on;
For she was like the wealth of a Nation.
Oh yes, the promised land was occupied by her love;
And she had enough from what she wanted.
From Winneba to Accra and from the realms of love,
For she was hoping for something great on this date!
And there it was with her nakedness on 12th August;
With no opinionated controversy like, a boat on the deep blue sea.

Feel Like a Simile Sometimes
I feel like a train sometimes
that can't get no locomotin.'
My wheels lumber
and my Ideals get stuck
in sideways roller motions.
I feel like the moon sometimes
beautiful but dead.
Feel like thinking sometimes
but get tangled up in emotions.
Feel like a bird sometimes
remembering how to soar.
Feel like sleeping sometimes
and not getting up,
being in bed for a while.
Feel like Christmas when
someone gives me a smile.
Feel like feeling more
on certain days and times.
Feel like talking deep
and thinking light
laughing loud
and quiet.
Feel like feeling like
my best days
sometimes.
Feel like is feeling like
if a good poem rhymes
sometimes.
Feel like is feeling like
if the rhythm beats in time,
if my heart skips to music quips
and rejoins at the metered line.
Feel like
is feeling like
feeling is ok;
but feeling good or bad
without that like
is better;
well..
like superior.
Like ok?

This Feeling
I've never understood,
the truth of the heart,
I've never known,
this feeling I have.
I know it's true,
this feeling I have,
but you will never know,
this feeling is for you.
It's sort of a good thing,
that you don't know,
because then I won't,
be broken once more.
The heart doesn't lie,
the heart is true,
you'll never know,
my heart beats for you.
They say that this feeling,
will stay with you forever,
I don't know if it's true,
I just know it's you.
Tell me why it's you,
I see in my dreams,
why it's you,
I feel a calling to.

That Certain Feeling
That certain feeling
The first time I met you
I hit the ceiling
I could not forget you
You were completely sweet
Oh, what could I do?
I wanted phrases
To sing his praises
That certain feeling
The one that they all know
No use concealing
Ive got what they call love
Now were together
Lets find out whether
Youre feeling, that feeling too
(bridge)
I felt it happen
Just as you came in view
Grew sort of dizzy
Thought gee, who is he?
That certain feeling
Im here to confess it
Is so appealing
No words can express it
I can not hide it
I must confide it
Im feeling that feeling, too.

Twentieth Century
Oh, the Twentieth Century wasn't all that bad
It was a time like no one else has ever had
We learned to drive, we learned to fly
We sent a man into the sky
When he walked on the moon, we were so glad
Yeah, the Twentieth Century wasn't all that bad
Yeah, the Twentieth Century was quite a ride
We had to learn to see the other side
We had demonstrations and liberations
Great depressions and good vibrations
And doors that once were closed were opened wide
Oh, the Twentieth Century was quite a ride
We had movin' pictures and radio
And Broadway, country, rock and roll
In 1900, who'd a bet we'd all be surfing on the internet
Yeah, the Twentieth Century was a heck of a show
We all had our fifteen minutes, don't you know
Assembly lines, celebrities,
the spotlight shined on you and me
And everybody got a standin' O
Yeah, the Twentieth Century was a heck of a show
From blocks of ice to air condition
Telegraph to television
In 1900, who'd a known we all wind up
with pocket phones
The Twentieth Century wasn't all that long
Just a hundred years has come and gone
We can't go back even if we try
So I'll just smile and wave goodbye
To see it leavin' makes me kinda sad
It was a time like no one else has ever had
Oh, the Twentieth Century wasn't all that bad
The Twentieth Century
Bye-bye
The Twentieth Century
Goodbye

Shedding The Old Man
Shedding the old man.
I feel I should.
And feeling great enough,
To say that I can.
So why not?
Philosophies adopted as to what is old,
I don't accept to reflect to others...
A perception of it.
To sit and portray aging that way.
I don't limp!
I hop.
With pain felt or hot.
Because I am shedding the old man.
Even though in the mornings,
It may take me a while to stand.
Shedding the old man.
I feel I should.
And feeling great enough,
To say that I can.
So why not?
Now...
If I can only remember,
Where I put my glasses.
