Shedding The Old Man

Shedding the old man.
I feel I should.
And feeling great enough,
To say that I can.
So why not?

Philosophies adopted as to what is old,
I don't accept to reflect to others...
A perception of it.
To sit and portray aging that way.

I don't limp!
I hop.
With pain felt or hot.
Because I am shedding the old man.
Even though in the mornings,
It may take me a while to stand.

Shedding the old man.
I feel I should.
And feeling great enough,
To say that I can.
So why not?

Now...
If I can only remember,
Where I put my glasses.
