Shedding The Old Man
Shedding the old man.
I feel I should.
And feeling great enough,
To say that I can.
So why not?
Philosophies adopted as to what is old,
I don't accept to reflect to others...
A perception of it.
To sit and portray aging that way.
I don't limp!
I hop.
With pain felt or hot.
Because I am shedding the old man.
Even though in the mornings,
It may take me a while to stand.
Shedding the old man.
I feel I should.
And feeling great enough,
To say that I can.
So why not?
Now...
If I can only remember,
Where I put my glasses.

Her legs are like earrings…
Her legs are like earrings, I've never worn.
There something to be dangled,
Before the electrical storm,
Like a fig-vine she snakes through my mind.
Clad in jingling charms these veils fall…
Shedding her skin of fear
Shedding her gilt, she burns to the core.
All scales removed; she wriggles,
Curled like a frond, moist in every pore.
The jugnle has abducted her senses…
A great winding river enters her falls…
Her kisses like big sticky date's tremble.
As she slivers aside, dawns dewy-wet morn.

Never love again
The feeling of love as I look in her eyes
The feeling of grief every time she cries
The happiness I feel as she holds my hand
The feeling I get as we walk on the sand
The joy I feel as we embrace
Her in my arms makes my heart race
These feeling towards her I never felt
These feeling towards her makes my heart melt
The pain and sorrow I feel as she walks away
Pain and sorrow I feel because my heart broke that day

Depressed (acrostic)
Doesn’t anyone see,
Everything I hide inside me?
Pain is all I feel these days,
Realizing emotions I can’t chase.
Escape this life. I wish I could.
Shedding tears does me no good.
Sadness has brought me to the floor.
Each breath I barely feel no more.
Death is all I’m waiting for.

Dead inside
I feel dead inside,
Feeling my body shaking,
Feeling the numbness,
Watching my tears fall down,
The fault was my own,
I caused these things to happen,
Can’t believe that I felt this pain I feel along,
I can’t do this alone,
I need someone to help me cope with this feeling I feel,
I never knew the pain I feel for so long,
I wanna feel as if I belong here,
I don’t want to feel dead inside no more,
My body is shaking its aching,
It’s the same way,
Same rhyme,
Same poems I write over and over again,
Some change, some stay the same,
I feel dead inside,
I am all alone,
Facing this pain alone,
No one there to help me.

Forty-Six & 2
My shadow's
Shedding skin and
I've been picking
Scabs again.
I'm down
Digging through
My old muscles
Looking for a clue.
I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own confused
And insecure delusions
For a piece to cross me over
Or a word to guide me in.
I wanna feel the changes coming down.
I wanna know what I've been hiding in
My shadow.
Change is coming through my shadow.
My shadow's shedding skin
I've been picking
My scabs again.
I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own chaotic
And insecure delusions.
I wanna feel the change consume me

After Having One Good Cry
Oh dear, I have gained such a lot of weight,
now to learn how to make my peace with it,
then start shedding as much as possible
Won’t confess to Rudi how much it bothers
me, he’ll say I’m vain – and he’ll be right, of
course, I only need to look good for him and
Myself, nobody else - I hate my new picture,
I’ll start eating right and focus on being content
with life, apparently eating is an emotional crutch
To create a feeling of well-being artificially, I know
the postponement of the wedding and everything
that happened caused a great upset
But now’s the time to become emotionally mature
and make some new year’s resolutions, I will stop
feeling sorry for myself and seeking comfort
In scrumptious food, my wedding dress is so tight,
the dress-maker was quite angry, her son remarked
upon my widening girth and I felt so ashamed
Chin high, eyes bright, wide smile, I’ll conquer
the dragon of overeating as soon as possible-
right after having one good cry…

Christmas Is..
Christmas is the time of year.
To give our thanks,
for the lives we live.
To thank our lord,
for shedding his blood.
The blood he shed,
for the sins of the world.
Like the shedding of tears,
in a mournful way.
Our lord was born on Christmas day..

State Of Affairs
there is a stain of
coconut oil in my eyeglass
and i keep on writing
and writing
whatever comes in my mind
i am patient
with the vagueness that the
glass is providing me
at any rate
the feeling is that
i am shedding tears.

Restraint
the pain that paralysed me at once
made all sensation vanish
all motion stop
and imprisoned my soul
from a body that is half dead
no perception of the surround
won't feel the grass on the field
nor kick the soccer ball
numbed from the hurt
anesthetized from the pain
useless dead legs
now carried in a wheelchair
I need to feel something
anything is better than this nothing
worse than feeling pain
is not feeling at all
My Soul Mate
My Soul Mate
Written by: Wilfred Charles Mellers, Saturday, November 19,2011 @ 1: 31 PM
My distress overwhelms me
Seeking contentment yet not finding any
Great is the void right now in my existence
Happier days are putting up a resistance
Peace of mind I find seldom
Waiting on a day that may never come
Sweet the memories of true winsome
Reflections inspiriting I do welcome
From isolation the body goes into seizure
For all things great or small needs closure
All things now feel of displeasure
A life no more of simple leisure
I feel so adrift without you
Now there’s nothing I can do
Dreams modest won’t come true
My glee passes in review
I can’t seem to get you off my mind
What I feel cannot be defined
To others I am sincerely blind
From this destiny I am now resigned
Hearing your voice brings so much gladness
It chases away all my sadness
Trying my best from not shedding a tear
When I see you everything becomes clear
Signing off I start to brood
Elation turns to a bitter mood
Feeling regret for the times we argued
For this heart you’ve truly slued
Lonely is the soul that waits
Thoughts in the mind vibrates
Lingering on a distinctive date
For I So long for my soul mate

Correcting it, I don't know; just shedding the light of day on it is a first major step, being one of the earliest generations not to just accept the words.

Celestial Wedding
Now that I'm free of the tears that
these eyes have been shedding I can visually see where my Rejoiceful
Heart is Happily Heading Cause I've found Honesty in the feeling
that we've been Socially Spreading Which has become the Spiritual event
For Angels who Heavenly await another.

Feel Like a Simile Sometimes
I feel like a train sometimes
that can't get no locomotin.'
My wheels lumber
and my Ideals get stuck
in sideways roller motions.
I feel like the moon sometimes
beautiful but dead.
Feel like thinking sometimes
but get tangled up in emotions.
Feel like a bird sometimes
remembering how to soar.
Feel like sleeping sometimes
and not getting up,
being in bed for a while.
Feel like Christmas when
someone gives me a smile.
Feel like feeling more
on certain days and times.
Feel like talking deep
and thinking light
laughing loud
and quiet.
Feel like feeling like
my best days
sometimes.
Feel like is feeling like
if a good poem rhymes
sometimes.
Feel like is feeling like
if the rhythm beats in time,
if my heart skips to music quips
and rejoins at the metered line.
Feel like
is feeling like
feeling is ok;
but feeling good or bad
without that like
is better;
well..
like superior.
Like ok?

The Candle As Metaphor For Grief
the white candle must have a heart
not showing any emotion when we parted
much feeling but there is a pretense for nothing
dismissing what is complicated
in the resting place the candle is lighted
shedding tears till dawn

Breathe to me inspiration fresh
Breathe to me inspiration fresh, upon the crest of emotions waves.
I remember still the day we left the school we called our own.
Know we are grown, now we are grown. at least by the standards of the years of uniform conformity, and still throughout the grey you shone a boundless beauty breathtaking.
I would never fake my moods for you as I would hope you would do the same for me.
Let us see through the days together, shedding tears for the by gone fears of yesteryear.
I remember you crying, holding on to the form of a friend of yours I never knew.
I remember trying to build the courage to comfort you but always feeling I was un worthy of
Your cries upon my shoulder. Now we are older and wiser we hope.

Pleasure & Pain
You always said you loved me
Though my minds right now not sure
Youve always been there for me
Though my heart never feels secure
Why cant you take a further step
To let me know you really care
Cuz now Im feeling driven
Into a love thats not right there
[chorus:]
Why do you make me feel this way
Feeling betrayed, feeling pushed away
Why do you make me feel so bad
Feeling so hurt, feeling so sad
What have I done to make you turn
Im feeling so lost, Im feeling so burned
If you really cared youd make a change
So I could feel the pleasure and not the pain
After all Ive said
You still have it set in your head
That you dont really care about me
Why cant you seem to believe
That Im the only one for you
I gave all my love to you
And after all Ive done for you
You never say that you love me
The way that I love you
[chorus]
I feel all the pain, hurt so bad, feel so sad
It hurts so bad, it hurts so bad
I just cant take no more baby
Girl make a change
So I can feel the pleasure and not the pain
[chorus]

For My late WIFE
For my late Wife
And you my dear whenever,
I close my eyes and back I go,
They start like rain shedding tear,
With me you are not though.
Like a dream it was that nearly one year,
Come see and feel if you can,
Alone I stand seeking you far and near,
On my face the smile, hope and the pain.
Desire I a strange unattainable dream,
Would that I could take the time back,
It gives me pleasure though odd it seem,
But losing this dream my heart will crack
You know what all this is? Oh love mine,
Something to keep you alive, and keep me thine.

Why do you make me feel this way?
I'm feeling betrayed feeling pushed away
Why do you make me feel so mad?

If you really, can you make a change
So I can feel pleasure's and not the pain

How Great
Like a mother mine was delighted she gave birth
It feels as great as we felt coming to live on earth
Great as we thought it was when joining school
Highly respectable as we perceived our graduation
with great love of money for love and infatuation
Much as we thought money made people great
Then the job made great impact on love perception
We were held higher by those thinking we were great
Our mind made us take a great pride in education
With little regards to the good great book we forgot
For great eloquence in language for communication
For great crowds of ladies and gentlemen we fought
The more lovers one has, the easier it was to feel great
How great was the lavish and satisfaction
How great the diversity and the depth we experienced
How great the comfort to feel the hardness and softness
How great on earth does it taste fornication?
How great when we fear not for our Godlessness
How great when we die is going to be our tribulation?
