I must take issue with the term 'a mere child,' for it has been my invariable experience that the company of a mere child is infinitely preferable to that of a mere adult.

Kabhi aap samajh paate
Mere shabdo ki nahi
Mere hriday ki bhasha.
Dekh paate,
Mere hotho ke muskarahat ke pare
Mere palko me chuupi ghata.
Kabhi sunte mere sannate
Ki bojhal vayatha.
Mehsoos karte
Har saaans me
bujhti,
jalti
Mere sapno ki shama.
Kabhi jaan pate

Hume youn tooth kar bikharna hi tha
Aap aakhir marichika ho mere ragistan ke

When childhood dies, its corpses are called..?
what does child mean?
a miniature of yourself
a treasure to be loved
or a learning human
what does child mean?
a gift to be cared
a burden in your life
or a true friend
what does child mean?
a sacrificial lamb
a heir from family line
or his/her own future
what does child mean?
a natural born trouble
a sweet little angel
or just a mere child

An adult is still a child
A child imitates its mother with air.
An adult imitates models to seem fair.
A child imagines a child in a doll
And enjoys tending it with fantasy.
An adult imagines some ones in his
And experience bliss in fantasy.
A child fears and pretends ignorance.
An adult dreads and pretends innocence.
Though old, still a child, I amuse myself
Though wise, still a child, I fool myself.

God the saviour
There is greater love in that God perished innocently
that He who is almighty lowered Himself
to the image of a mere man
that He did permit earthly beings to curse Him,
even to challenge God in all of His power
to have eternal life in reconciliation
than the love that mere man knows
between husband and wife, parent and child,
than what man knows of being selfless,
as God did not forget His own creatures
and came back to those who were lost,
to win the war between good and evil.

The Poetic Experience
writing for me is like hammering
a nail... you keep pounding till
it's driven. what i have tried
to do, in collusion with others,
is to amass a body of work that
celebrates the human in human
beings... with all its pain,
suffering, turmoil, and all the
trials, the human experience is
still the eternal experience...
the only hope for humanity to
survive lies in turning inward.
until we know ourselves, we can
never have the god experience,
and can never truly interact with
others, can never even see others,
much less know them! we are mere
reflections of each other, mere
reflections of god... the sameness
that lies below our differences
is both deep, and wide!

A Child Was Hurt
When I was a child you hurt me.
I was nothing but a mere girl.
I was only 5 years old.
I couldnt fight you couldnt fend you off.
A child was hurt.
A child was hurt for your fantasies.
That child was me.
I was only a wee girl.
A child was hurt.
It used to be a cool place to play.
It once was my faviorate place to go.
But you took that from me.
As well as raping me.
A child was hurt.
You said it was a game.
I knew it was rong.
It didnt feel right.
I begged you to stop.
You looked laughed and carried in.
A child was hurt.
A child was hurt.
I was so much smaller than you.
You towered over me.
You had the power.
And you didnt care.
A child was hurt

Be a child-parent-adult
To the child, it is a day.
To the parent, it is a night.
To the adult both are inclusive.
The child lives in fantasy.
The parent lives in fallacy.
It is the adult that lives,
Where he is put, in ecstasy.
The child admires things.
The parent criticizes them.
The adult realizes them.
The child appreciates.
The parent deprecates.
The adult rationalizes.
The poet is the child in man.
The priest is the parent in man.
The logician is the adult in man.
Live a child to be youthful.
Live a parent to be awesome.
Live an adult to be credible.

Mere life is not a victory, mere death is not a defeat.
Transformation (2)
at first i was just a mere word
so i transformed myself into a sentence
and then not contented with what i am
a mere sound and syllable
an idea, a conceived meaning
i opted to have some cells
i learned how to make myself many
so i got duplicates and multiples
until i began to have a body
some hands and feet until i began
to have a definite form like circles and
squares and cubes until i became a man
and then i regretted all these
i went back to what i was
a mere word
now looking still
for my own meaning.

Mujhe Aaj Jaane Na Do
Rok lo
Bas, Aaj rok lo
Mujhe jaane na do.
Ke dum tood dene do
Bas tham kar haath mera
Tum raho.
Shayad,
Dard thoda kam hoga.
Rok lo,
Tumhe shayad maloom na ho
Ek chota sa gharonda hai
Hamara,
Tumhare dil he mei.
Hume youn beghar na karo.
Rok lo,
Tumhe shayad maloom na ho
Sanso se tumhare
Kahi bandhi hai bandhan
Humare sanso ki
Hume youn jeete ji dafn na karo.
Rok lo
Hume youn rooth kar jaane na do
Tumhe shayad maloom na ho
Mere nazro ke darpan me dekho
Tumhi chayya
Tumhi pratibimb mere.
Tumhi ho rab
Tumhi maseeha mere.
Tumhi jawab
Tumhi enteha mere.
Tumhi ho labzj
Tumhi khamoshi mere.
Tumhi raasta
Tumhi manzil mere.
Rok lo
Bas Aaj rok lo
Mujhe jaane na do.

Hindi Poem- Ankahi
Aaj kagaz pe syahi failane ka man to bahut hain,
Par kuch nahi hain khas,
Kash aaj main kuch likh pati,
Kash kuch keh pati,
Par pata nahi kyun,
Aaj shabd nahi hain mere pas,
Kin khayaalo ke bare me sochu main,
Jab kuch lamhe hi nahi saheje apne pas,
Kuch dhundhli yaadein bhi nahi mere sath,
Kya bayaan karu aaj jazbaat apne,
Kuch jazbaat hi nahi mere pas,
Jazbaat chodo,
Lagta hai aaj kehne ko to apni saasein bhi nahi mere pas,
Log kehte hai... jazbaat aur saasein to dil me basti hain,
Lagta hain... Aaj shayad dil hi nahi mere pas....

Effortless Superiority
there he sits comfortably
without having to do
anything
much to my envy
he gets everything
love, fame, fortune
luxury, prestige, position
everything by the mere
color of his skin by the
mere sound of his name
by reason of his lineage
and genes and
his being
chosen

The Room That Was Locked
we talk about nothing last night
and for the past few nights about the room that was locked.
long time ago, even the mere mention of that room
they remember, the old folks always reminded us
of the penalties, for the mere use of words,
and there was fear and there was the suppressed silence
that eventually bothered each of those who thought about it,
except for one man, who one day, with all his anger,
got a bit piece of wood, the one left by the termites,
and hit the room that was always locked, and when its
door was broken, they all went it, to know what secret lies
inside the abandoned room that was forbidden.
to their aghast, there is nothing there.
except perhaps, the mere fear about its being forbidden.

Khuli aankho ke?

Jo Ghoos aaya tha
Mere darwaje se.

Mere hi dil ki
Aanjane hi dhadak gaya jo
Pal bhar ke liye?

Meri hi chaya ke

In Marriage, Love Speaks
in marriage, words are useless
with a mere wink, the other knows what the other wants.
with a mere touch, their world merge
like birds having their own song as language
love, love, and the gaze, this is all that speaks.

you and i
mere illusions
created through
this body to test our
strength and resolve to
loosen this grip on the earth
you and i
mere shadows
of a great light playing
an eternal hide and seek
