Comin' For X-Mas?

I got your
Christmas card
And you know
It warms my heart
Just to think of all the cheer
We could share if you were here
I made my
Christmas list
That i'll give
To my boy St.Nick
And I hope he hooks, hooks me up
Cause I plan a special Christmas for us
I was hoping that you might be
Comming for Christmas
I was hoping that surly by New Years eve
I was hoping that you might be comming
And I hope that your bringing something for me
Now we'll chill
Christmas eve
I cant wait
For my moms to leave
We'll snuggle, i'll turn down the lights
And give our gifts if the timing is right
I was hoping that you might be
Comming for Christmas
I was hoping that surly by New Years eve
I was hoping that you might be comming
And I hope that your bringing something for me
For know I will
And I hope that Santa wont be late
Cause I dont want no presents
See im too old for toys
I just want my baby
She's my one and only truly one and only she's my only
I was hoping that you might be
Comming for Christmas
I was hoping that surly by New Years eve
I was hoping that you might be comming
And I hope that your bringing something for me

I Do Like His Dog

Surly looking and hung over after a night on the grog
I cannot say I do like him much though I do like his dog
His golden retriever on seeing me wags her tail
Of making a new friend of every opportunity she does avail
She does not have him to thank for her nice personality
The man and his dog look at life differently
Out walking the retriever after a row with his wife
Hung over and feeling quite hard done by life
But his female dog of people not in any way indifferent or shy
A great love of humanity she seems to enjoy
With her surly master as she walks down the street
She wags her tail at everyone she does meet
The dog and her master different as chalk and cheese
But then dogs than us far more easy to please.

Be Then He A Man Who Is Manly

I say..? !
If every man became more and more feminine!
Then where would be a man's androgen's masculinity.
Surly her desires would be less passionate and sultry.
And they're hearts adrenaline might even chasten.
As fatefully as life is once it's in flat-line!
I say..? !
Be then he a man who is manly, she a woman comely.

Dark Eyes

DARK EYES

I LOOK UPON THE DARKENED SKIES,
ALL I SEE IS HIS DARK EYES.
I KNOW HE WILL BE COMING SOON,
AS I SIT IN THIS COLD DARK ROOM.

EVERY NIGHT I WISH FOR LIGHT,
AS I LOOK FOR THE COURAGE TO FIGHT.
EVERY NIGHT I SEE THOSE EYES,
COMING FROM THE DARK DARK SKIES.

IT’S SO COLD HERE IN THE DARK,
FAR OFF A DOG DOES BARK.
A SHRIEK, A CRY, DEATH DOES COME,
ONLY I KNOW WHERE IT COMES FROM.

I LOOK OUT AND SEE THOSE EYES,
WAY UP IN THOSE DARKENED SKIES.
AS THEY LOOK UPON MY SOUL,
MY LIFE IS DRAINED INTO A BOWL.

DEATH RIDES WITH THOSE EVIL EYES,
AND ALL THAT SEE THEM, SURLY DIES.
YOU MUST FIGHT, AND YOU MUST NOW FAIL,
YOU MUST SEND THOSE EYES BACK TO HELL.

My Alter Ego Jack

Hello, all else has failed
This I can easily see.
You've toppled and choked
Now it's up to me

You've fought a good battle
That I can surly tell
This is your wake-up call
Welcome to hell

Now it's my turn
I'll step up to the plate
I'll put this back together
Bring you to a normal state

I've been wating a while
For this time to finally come
I'm going to slip right in
I'm going to have some fun

I may speak my mind
Sometimes appear unkind
But we know if it wasn't for me
You would topple and flee

I can see this is finally up to me

Crazy Tradesmen Rhymes No1

I once knew a man in the gardening trade,
Bob Green was his name
He was surly, he was staid;
He thought he knew it all
But between you and me
He couldn't tell a lettuce
From a lilac tree.

Deathbed

How surly it is where you still laugh,
when death waits as the ripe coming from life
that hurts, when the sun breaks on the last day,
when in vain you yearn; you grab on sheets, blankets
when cancer keeps growing,
when you bleed internally, while it's raining outside,
when nothing can stop the attack, can cut it away,
tears are flowing; here no thunderbolt will fall,
still you want to find the smell that sparks,
the spark that smells just like gunpowder,
it pains in your intestines but in this winter
you do not understand anything;
your throat burns, you want to hibernate;
you want to wander along, you are used up,
you dive into darkness reaching out further.

The Curtains Now Are Drawn

I

The curtains now are drawn,
And the spindrift strikes the glass,
Blown up the jagged pass
By the surly salt sou'-west,
And the sneering glare is gone
Behind the yonder crest,
While she sings to me:
'O the dream that thou art my Love, be it thine,
And the dream that I am thy Love, be it mine,
And death may come, but loving is divine.'

II

I stand here in the rain,
With its smite upon her stone,
And the grasses that have grown
Over women, children, men,
And their texts that 'Life is vain';
But I hear the notes as when
Once she sang to me:
'O the dream that thou art my Love, be it thine,
And the dream that I am thy Love, be it mine,
And death may come, but loving is divine.'

Suicide is my only hope

Suicide is now my only hope.
My only hope to be free.
To get away from the shit in my life.
Surly I'll be free this way.

I have to leave this world
Leave it all behind.
Mabey Im a coward
Or mabey not.

I never did have a say
What happened to me in my life.
Never got justice
Or even the chance to say no.

Well I guess I have controll now
Over my life and over my death.
Things left undone
Things left unsaid
Must stay this way.

My family wont miss me
If I think about it
The only person who loved me is dead.
The only thing on this earth
That I'll miss are my animals
Its the only thing on this earth that loved me.

Guess none of those things matter now.
As here I lie death entering in.
I should of known this would be my only way

Death's Cornucopia

She faced Death saying
'I've rolled up all the roads
traveled on my life's highway

I've burned all my dilapidated bridges
to light my way across

to see Dim Death there
my future on his map

I'm wrapped up
in my many past circumstances
making peace
with this
my Ethereal Now

all my visions
prodigal
paying my many just dues-

shedding too
all my surly life illusions

placing them among
my many compromised dreams;

before me now only
the unseen
dark-
stretching away
toward that yawning, ultimate abyss;

toward our ultimate separation-
a separation we have never known;
we two
facing now this wrenching goodbye;
this, ' she said 'is the hard part;

the leaving of
of our youth,
the photographs
the laughter
we've known
the children set now on their own
path.

That done
you with me
now is all
I need
to place my foot on this new path
undeterred
and brave.

He said

'Death's Cornucopia
can be
when we wrap ourselves
in our memories
which help us glide
gently
to that other side

but know, ' he said,
'that is in body only;
our Spirits surely
join before
to make a bridge
across
making us whole again
on the other side
even across Death's Divide.

She died
with a faint smile.

He was there
to the last
holding her hand.

The End

The tree is falling
It leafs are falling
It seems it all over
Like never
All hope is gone
The cloths are tone
The house
Burned into ashes
The food turned garbage
There is no more courage
For the prophet has no message
Everything on rampage
Surly everything shall come to an past
Nothing will last
The kingdom is invaded
And the king beheaded
One may wonder
That upon all the power
Yes, sooner or later
No matter how you pretend
Everything shall come to an end

Unstooping

Low on his fours the Lion
Treads with the surly Bear;
But Men straight upward from the dust
Walk with their heads in the air;
The free sweet winds of heaven,
The sunlight from on high
Beat on their clear bright cheeks and browns
As they go striding by;
The doors of all their houses
They arch so they may go,
Uplifted o’er the four-foot beasts,
Unstooping, to and fro.

The conqueror

I will conquer
For i am a conqueror
The enemy tried me
They became one against me
But my world was bigger and stronger
So i conquered my fears
I wiped away my tears
Oh you enemies of progress
When will you stop
Turning my glory into shame
You sort to destroy my name
But i have no one to blame
For no weapon against me shall prosper
Surly i will be the one to conquer
I will conquer
For i am a conqueror

A Brewed Awakening

4 A.M.- it’s much too early
It’s no surprise I’m feeling surly.
It’s cold outside and lacking light.
It feels like the middle of the night!
(When you’ve been out late and had a few
Mondays are no friend to you.)
Villainous clock that chirps and chimes
I’ll hit your snooze button one more time.
Its cold, and someone stole the covers
I reach for them as for a lover.
Alas, my larcenous spouse has taken them
I guess I’m in for a brewed awakening.

Yggdrasil

The poet sat in the garden house
Under a hawthorn tree,
And stared at the men in helmets who
Had just come up from the sea.

He gathered his words about him
Like a shield in the Land of Rhyme,
The 'glow in the red-raw evening sky'
He left for another time.

He watched as they burned his orchard,
Put his imagery to the sword,
Then wandered back to their surly ships
In the Bay of Bleak Discord.

The heron sat in the estuary,
The raven sat on the shore,
The poet threw up a stanza there
That ends with - 'Nevermore! '

For Death had called in the morning
Left his calling card on the tray:
'I'd be obliged if you'd meet with me
At noon, on Saturday! '

He packed his verse in a travelling case
And told his wife 'Goodbye! '
Then sent his 'Helen of Troy' poste haste
To hide on the Isle of Skye.

He went to the tree Yggdrasil, sat
And waited for Death to chat,
But Death left a message to follow him;
'I'll get my coat and hat! '
