What Do You Know About Africa?
What do you know about Africa?
Is it the news, the views or the review
Of news paper overviews.
Is it the Aids patient or the patience
We have with Western Aids?
Is it the grain of wheat
Or the gains of the elite.
What do you know about Africa?
Do you know the media exaggerates
The stories to sell their views.
Do you know we don’t sleep on trees?
I heard in the West the pictures
Shown on TV is only on HIV.
I also heard that the perceptions
Out there is that there is no reception
Because they say the whole Africa
Is in big confusion.
Let me tell you something today,
Mercedes is selling at Silver Star,
Shell is refueling the used cars
Uniliver is distributing provisions
And The American Air line is making
Millions of Dollars. All in Africa.
I guess you think there is only
Poverty but some of us are living
In mansion only own by stars
In the West. Africa is also blessed
With resources as a continent and
Humans with High Culture
Let me tell
You what I know about my continent
It is not the hell they spell
In their news, their views or review
It is the lies and assumed commitment
Of the called first world economy
On my resources and economy?
The human resource,
The mineral resource
And the influence on Puppet
Leaders who are victims
Of colonialism.
That is the reasons
Our seasons are not at a height
And our reasoning always in fight
With our very being.
But don’t get caught up in the hypes
And jives of the News Makers.
They are only creating a world
For your minds.
They are creating perception
Not perfections
That is what the people like
Freedom will call Mental Slavery.
From today on,
Learn more about Africa
From the African.

The Black Continent

The Black Continent full of raw materials and talented people;
For the Blackman is capable of managing his own affairs.
Beautiful South Africa,
Beautiful North Africa,
Beautiful East Africa,
Beautiful West Africa,
And beautiful Central Africa! !
This Black Continent is full of natural resources.
Visit Africa to understand our ways,
For we have more to the world!
And like the muse of the animals in the forest,
But The Black Continent means a lot to all of us on this earth:
Africa, Africa, Africa! !

Welcome To Ghana
'Akwaaba'! 'Akwaaba'! !
'Akwaaba' to Ghana,
The Black Star of Africa!
Like shopping the past in descent ways,
I have more news fro you;
Welcome to the land of my birth.
Tourism, tourism, tourism!
True tourism comes from Africa! !
Where nature abounds for you to smile always;
So, come to Ghana and see things for yourself.
Visit the Gateway of Africa,
'Akwaaba' to the land of Freedom!
'Ghana your beloved country is free forever'! ! !
Whose idea was it?
Whose vision was it?
Whose motivations was it?
There are many answers to the worls so sweet when,
You do visit us in Ghana;
On the West Coast of Africa!
Ghana is full of natural resources,
Africa is full of natural resources;
'Akwaaba' is the message full of,
The hospitalities of the Ghanaian;
So, come and see things for yourself.
From the Castles of Slavery Days to,
The jungles of the animals;
'Akwaaba' to Ghana,
The Gateway of Africa!
From the cultural acts to traditions,
Your camera shots will fill your luggage;
What about the heat of the Sun?
'Waooo'! You will be touched with extra vitamin D;
It's all in the land of Freedom and Justice! !

Day Break Africa
Twenty-one days to an overthrow,
Twenty-one years from a hide-out;
Day break Africa with news around the world!
Out of changes, out of words,
One out of the muse that i bring to you;
Living on One Dollar a day means that,
We have no aids but hunger! !
Day break Africa with words from a bard,
Like a serious rethinking to all mankind;
Life in Africa matters to me a lot.
Braving through the thick and thin clouds of Africa,
Like the time when a party wins;
A muse like this puts up a serious rethinking.
Day break Africa with hunger,
Day break Africa with hospitality;
Mark the beloved child who wakes up early with,
No food at all! Yes, an empty stomach! !
Just like their parents and care-takers,
Just like the things you see around;
A life and death struggle for survival!
Lawlessness! A child is born;
With an empty bowl beside him or her.
This is to learn about the hardships of Africa,
This is to grow up in the mist of nothing;
Where many talents die out easily!
From hope to poverty,
from the North to the South;
From East to the West,
From the mountains to the rivers;
We need our fertile minds to do the thinking.
Gone-East, gone-West, gone out of bounds;
From the North to the South without hope,
Day break Africa with hunger!
More deaths cases are reported on malaria than aids,
But our best works are not even well known to the world;
Since, they rather cloth us with aids! ! !
From O.A.U. to A.U.,
From poverty to aids;
How long can we hoist a flag for our emancipation? !
Day break Africa with words,
Day break Africa with hope,
Day break Africa with Hunger,
Day break Africa with dreams;
Oh, how long can we hoist a flag for our emancipation?
Day break Africa!

You Don't Read Africa
Never have you ever sat
Or beneath African Suns lay flat
You insist on rumours fat
Liken to a rainy day's door mat
To judge where you haven't testified
And judge what ain't justified
You don't read Africa
You heard it is Hell's replica
With an oasis of virtual bliss
Where on semi-humans and snakes hiss
You watched him report
On a continent he hasn't rapport!
Why do you believe:
That which you perceive?
As Gospel-truth lies you receive?
Those that only your mind deceive?
Making you think 'Africa' is synonym to 'grieve'?
You don't read Africa
You only read about Africa
The cradle of mankind
You believe is to mankind unkind
You help in protests
Against nothing on your list of detests
You call it charity when you commission inquests!
Can a reader read a book here
When he is only there
There where he doesn't know where,
Where he feels and thinks is nowhere?
Read Africa from your heart
Not just when Africans hurt
You cannot read Africa miles apart
You read of Africa
You read about Africa
You read about Africa
You have read about Africa
You Don't Read Africa

Don’t Cry For Me Africa
Don’t cry for me Africa
Because I will never let you out of my mind
I hear your voices people of Africa
I hear your cries people of Africa
I see pain in your eyes people of Africa
It is hard to describe what you people of Africa are going through
Poverty strikes you all people of Africa
Don’t cry for me Africa
Because I will keep you in my prayers people of Africa
Power to the people of Africa
People of Africa lift your spirit higher
Lord is the light and truth people of Africa
The Lord sends you a message from his heart to you people of Africa
He said because I love you
I will answer your prayers
I hear your prayers
Don’t cry for me Africa
Because you have a friend that is the Lord
People of Africa continue doing the Lords work
Make a wish people of Africa
The people of Africa are looking at the Lord face to face
Lord here is no paradise
We dream a little dream said the people of Africa to the Lord
The People of Africa Pray that the Lord will give each other strength every day
Don’t cry for me Africa
Save the people of Africa
Strengthened the people of Africa each day
Because I’ll be there in your dreams people of Africa
The people of Africa tells The Lord how much they love him
Don’t cry for me Africa
Lord comes when you are ready people of Africa
Feelings you have for your Lord People of Africa
And I know you will never let it die
Nothing but flowers the people of Africa will plant in the sea shore for the Lord
Don’t cry for me Africa
The people of Africa needs hope to heal there land
The Lord rose up on you people of Africa
Don’t cry for me Africa
My heart will go on
Once I close this door of the ship I will sail across the Atlantic Sea

My Africa
The land of my forefathers
Victim of imperialism, colonialism
Wars and all social ills alike
Perpetuated by western forces
Pregnant with deceit and diseases
To cripple my Africa
Rise Africa, rise
Rise from victimhood
Rise from the Dark Continent
Rise above civil wars
Rise and open economic doors
Rise my Africa, rise
Ooh my Africa
Food parcels and UN aids
Are demeaning and degrading
In the glory of your oil and minerals
Whilst the aiders loot your riches
And encourage you to fight each other
Unite Africa, unite
Invoke the unity sought by Nkruma
Africans refuse to be pawns
Refuse to be traitors of your fellows
In the global circles, know thy self
And build my Africa

Kilimanjaro
KILIMANJARO
Kilimanjaro
Only supporting post of Tanzania
Found in Tanzania
Strongest bridge of Africa to Heaven
Eyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
An extension worker of GOD
Doing development with the people
Building self reliance
Coordinator of Natural peace and justice
Kiboooo The senator
Immediate solutions for these confusions are needed
Verbal wars amongst leaders
Conflicts and wars in Africa
Poverty and HIV/AIDS in Malawi
Tanzania and entire Africa obey and respect you
For your highest peak is covered by clouds
Kilima the mountain
You remind me of something
You remind me of Zimbabwe
Stone house built without mortar by strong men of Zimbabwe
You remind me of pyramids in Egypt
Designed and constructed by Egyptian engineers
Kilima the mountain-Njaro the whiteness
You remind me of Nelson Mandela
Living testimony of this generation and generations to come
Kilimanjaro you are the white mountain in the world
Freedom comes from the spotted rocks seen on your snowfields
You remind me of Natural Resources
The most beautiful compass inna de warm heart of Africa
You are the leg of GOD IN Africa
Kicking out enemies of Africa
African continent is dismantled like a treadle pump
Lest any root of bitterness many may become defiled
I know you are not a profane but the blessed
That you can fight against all these neo-colonialism
For you are an extension worker of God
You have power to restore human rights
Because the bright day of Africa is in the hands of young Africans
And the bright day of the whole world is in the hands of young wise ghetto boyz

50 Years on This Physical Earth
50 years on this physical earth,
But husting and busting to make my name known t the world!!
Because, i have a message at hand;
And, it is not easy being born in Africa and being raised in Africa from a very poor family!
For, i can't stop the rain from falling on my head when,
I have no roof!!!
And like what is going on today in East Africa!
With the reflections of one of my Art Works called: 'We don't have aids but hunger'! !
Yes, from the very acts of my mind;
Because i am an African,
And i do know what it means to be in Africa.
Today, i am to thank Father Yahweh for all of His mercy and kindness towards me;
For He had really guided my steps from thr rough paths of an African's own story,
And, let His Mercy endures forever!!
For Africa is for the Africans and we have to know what goes on around us everyday;
And, in the land of Africa i was born,
But, have you to say?!!
Because, i am very proud to be an African!
And like the muse of your love in the land of many waters that satisfies us all.

African Skies
You say youre surprised
I thought Id write today
Pieces of my life
That time cant fade away
Land lies dry - africa
And the clouds roll by - africa
I held you every night
I believed in all youd say
Now the dust blows in my eyes
But those dreams wont fade away
The sky burns red - africa
Dont you cry - africa
Africa
When you cry it rains - africa
Still the children smile - africa
When you cry it rains - africa
When the wild dogs howl - africa
Still the clouds roll by - africa

I see Africa
When i stand afar i see
nearer than ever
When i echo my fear
makes them bold
My race make me
speak in subdue, yet
i am proud to call
Africa my Africa
Eventhrough untied state
of Africa refuse to see
nearer than ever,
i still believe Africa is my
Africa no-matter what.

my Africa brother, surely
Africa will remain Africa till the world dying days.

The Dark Continent
'Africa my beginning, Africa my end. I was born here and I will die here'
Africa you bear my hopes and fears
Poverty, famine, crime and AIDS are words which plague Mother Africa's name
These demons bring me shame
While people try to make Africa better, a few let the hardship overpower them
Shame on them
They give up hope and go about their knavish ways
Even though there's hope on the horizon, be that as it may
They continue to destroy what little Mother Africa has
Africa is no longer what she was
'Mother Africa is weeping'
Yet a new dawn may be creeping
Mother Africa and her children are beautiful, they know their place in nature
Even though hardship may corrupt good nature
In the name of ALL that is good, I hope Africa will rise one day
And we'll stop the suffering before she frays
The words upon a famous poet, I hear
'Africa my beginning, Africa my end. I was born here and I will die here'

Season Africa
Seasons africa
Africa! my home..
The sole of peace
Your brothers are now your fathers
Your sisters are now your mothers
Your mild wind is becoming hot
Your silence is now becoming scanty
Your leaders are just like your seasons
The raining and the summer interchanges
Yet! many terminating roles
Your resources are now your leaders sources
Africa! if the raining season comes...
Try to debar them out
Never let them linger
Let thunder strike them
And wash them accros river niger and river beneu
In the west and all the province
You are wealthiest
Call your loyal children and talk to fill their heart
Africa, you are the giant
Call your children...
Thank You My Africa
Thank You My Africa
For Giving Birth To Me
For All The Blessings
And For Choosing Me As Your Daughter.
Thank You My Africa
For Selecting Me To Represent
Everything That You Own
And Wherever I Go.
Thank You My Africa
For My Other Sisters And Brothers
For My Other Fathers And Mothers
And The Perfect Weather.
Thank You My Africa
For My Happiness And Dignity
The Love And Careness
For My Roots And Capability.
Thank You My Africa
I Love And Appreciates You
For Being A Good Samaritan To Foreign Countries
Because Of Everything They Go Through.
Thank You My Africa
For Your Capacity
For Your Originality
And Your Diversity.
Thank You My Africa
For Letting Me Overcome Old Pains
To Have Many Opportunities
Privileges, Luck And Alot More Gains.
Thank You My Africa
For The Light That Shines Through
And Even If They Call You Dark Africa
I Declare You As A Bright One Because You Are So True.
Thank You My Africa
For My Beautiful Curved Body
Which Represents All The Roads
The Mountains And Rivers In You.
Thank You My Africa
For I Come From You
And My Appreciation For All That
I Say; I Love You My Africa.

Where Africa is
Africa my land,
Africa my heart,
Africa my eternal,
Africa my inspiration;
Where are you?
Somebody has asked me
And let me tell him
Where you are.
You are between Pacific and Indian
Simple oceans made of fishers
More than that you are
In the centre of my spirit.
Africa is in me,
I am where Africa is.

America of Our Dreams
I am not in Africa
But Africa is in me,
Africa lies in my blood,
Where I was brought
up, amidst this rot;
This rot that had eaten deep
Into the heart of my Africa.
If we could right this wrong
Then we could make of Africa,
The America of our dreams.

Famine victims in Africa! !
Onions, opinions, millions, billions, trillions, zillions;
But expressing my views with what i've seen around,
However, this hardships of the famine are now seen on your Television sets as well.
Surgery can lead to disfiguration,
And like the muse of the famine victims of Africa! !
But, i am Cowper who wants to put in my help for the others;
Because, this famine in Africa is so severe.
