Mummy News Cries
Mummy don't leave me today.
Mummy he hurts me again and again
Mummy I'm sorry I upset you
Mummy of course I'll go again.
News in the paper of a little girls death
News in the paper of the abuse
News in the paper of a grieving mother
News in the paper of a life gone too soon.
Cries the mother who didn't heed the cry
Cries the mother who failed to hear
Cries the mother who sent her there
Cries the mother for her dead child.

A Daughter Cries
when a mother cries
her tears stab at her daughter's heart
as they plummet to the floor
when a mother cries
he daughter cries too
because her heroine is wounded and she doesn't know how or why
she cries because she cannot rid her mother of the pain
she cries most of all because she loves her mother
when a daughtrr cries because her mother cries,
her mother cries more
because her weakness has hurt her child
she cries because it hurts to know she's the cause of her daughter's tears.
she cries most of all because she loves her daughter
one the tears have ceased however
love remains
the love forever shared between a mother and her daughter

Oh mummy don't
At night my eyes cry
Oh mummy don't your making me die
At night my nose turns cold and red
Oh mummy don't hit me on the leg
At night my lips get chapped and cut
Oh mummy dont squeeze my gut
At night my head hurts
Oh mummy don't whip me with your leather skirt
At night my body shivers
Oh mummy don't you'll scare my teddy quivers
At night my heart stopped beating
Oh mummy please stop repeating
At night I pray I were dead
Oh mummy don't cant you see the tears I shed
At night I know my life is mean and dark
Oh mummy don't the scares turn into question marks
At night I weep to myself quietly
On mummy don't you're frightning me
At night I have learned dirty words
Oh mummy don't please say this in nice words
At night I pick up the knife
Oh mummy I am ready to take my life
This poem I have written is just to tell the world out there that kids DO NOT deserve
this kind of life, so if you ever do see something like this going on why don't you do something
about it. In this world 50% kids die because of child abuse, So don't leave it if you see it
do something about it and save a life.

Oh Mummy, Oh Mummy
Oh Mummy, oh Mummy
where are you?
You were in your sarcophagus yesterday
but now you are gone.
Oh Mummy, oh Mummy
where may you be?
Has someone in the night
come in and stolen thee?
Oh Mummy, oh Mummy
I know you are two thousand years old
and just a box of bandages,
but about you, I care so.
I found you in that pyramid
amongst all your treasures
for the after life.
Oh Mummy, oh Mummy
there you are hiding away from me.
Hey, what are you doing?
Oooh Mummy stop doing that,
you are two thousand years old
and I am only twenty-three.
Oooh Mummy. Oooh Mummy
don’t stop now.
Oooh Mummy you are a sexy beast.

Mother Sky Cries
Mother sky cries when the leaves turn from green to gold
Mother sky cries when the leaves die and the weather turns cold
Mother sky cries when the earth turns warm and the body sweats
Mother sky cries and leaves the heart scorned and the skin wet
Mother sky cries and father cloud mourns
Mother sky cries and baby flower is born

When A Mother Cries
When a mother cries,
Her tears stab at her daughter’s heart
As they plummet to the floor
When a mother cries
Her daughter cries too
She cries because she does not know what is wrong
She cries because she can’t get rid of her mother’s pain
She cries most of all because she loves her mother
When a daughter cries because her mother cries
Her mother cries more
She cries because her pain has hurt her daughter
She cries because she does not want to see her daughter cry because of her
She cries most of all,
Because she loves her daughter
Once the tears have ceased however,
What remains is love
The love forever shared between a mother and a daughter

Glass Spider
Up until one century ago there lived,
In the zi duang provence of eastern country.
A glass-like spider.
Having devoured its prey it would drape the skeletons over its web in weeks creating a macabre shrine of remains.
Its web was also unique in that it had many layers, like floors in a buuilding.
At the top of this palace-like place, assembled with almost apparent care, were tiny shining objects, glass, beads, dew-drops.
One could almost call it an altar.
When the breeze blew thru this construction,
It produced sounds of wailing, crying.
Tiny wails, tiny cries.
The baby spiders would get scared and search frantically for their mother.
But the glass spider would have long gone, having known that the babies would survive somehow on their own.
Oh-the glass spider had blue eyes almost like-a humans.
They shed tears at the wintered turn of the centuries.
Dont you hear this wasted cry, life is over you
(mummy come back cause the waters all gone)
But youve seen whos in heaven. is there anyone in hell
(mummy come back cause its dark now)
Take care, take care.
(mummy come back cause the waters all gone)
Somewhere she glows divine. somewhere she wakes alone.
But you, youve promise in your lovin eye. God its dark now.
Jah jah jah jah jah
Jah jah jah jah jah
Gone, gone the waters all gone
Mummy come back cause the waters all gone
Stay low on the ground, my fire can drive you, savage and afraid
Spitting at the dawn, come along before the animals awake
Run moving all night, rivers to the left.
If your mother dont love you then the riverbed might
Gone, gone, the waters all gone
Mummy come back cause the waters all gone
Jah jah jah jah jah
Jah jah jah jah jah
Gone gone the waters all gone
Mummy come back cause the waters all gone
Gone gone the waters all gone
Mummy come back cause the waters all gone
Gone gone the waters all gone
Mummy come back cause the waters all gone

Song: XI
Mother, mother, do you not hear?
Mother, they come; there is news to tell!
– Give me your hands, my daughter dear:
'Tis but a ship that saileth well.
Mother dear, have a care, give heed!
–They go, my daughter, away they speed.
Mother, the danger is sore, alas!
– Child, my child, it will quickly pass.
Mother, mother, She draweth near!
– It is down in the harbour, daughter dear.
Mother, mother, She opens the door!
– Child, they go, to return no more.
Mother, She enters! I am afraid!
– Child, they now have the anchor weighed.
Mother, I hear Her speaking low.
– Child, my child, it is they that go.
Mother, She makes the stars go dark!
– Child, 'tis the sails of a shadowy bark.
Mother, She knocks at the casement still!
– Child, maybe it is fastened ill. . . .
Mother, mother, my sight grows dim. . . .
– Child, they sail for the open sea.
On every hand I can hear but Him. . . .
– O child, what is it, and who is He?

Nothing At All In the Paper Today
Nothing at all in the paper today!
Only a murder somewhere or other;
A girl who has put her child away,
Not being a wife as well as a mother;
Or a drunken husband beating a wife,
With the neighbors lying awake to listen,
Scarce aware he has taken a life,
Till in at the window the dawn rays glisten.
But that is all in the regular way--
There's nothing at all in the paper today.
Nothing at all in the paper today!
To be sure, there's a woman died of starvation,
Fell down in the street, as so many may
In this very prosperous Christian nation;
Or two young girls, with some inward grief
Maddened, have plunged into the inky waters;
Or father has learnt that his son's a thief,
Or mother been robbed of one of her daughters.
Things that occur in their regular way--
There's nothing at all in the paper today.
There's nothing at all in the paper today,
Unless you care about things in the city--
How great rich rogues for their crimes must pay
(Though all gentility cries out, 'Pity!')
Like the meanest shop-boy that robs a till.
There's a case today, if I'm not forgetting,
The lad only 'borrowed'--as such lads will--
To pay some money he lost in betting;
But there's nothing in this that's out of the way--
There's nothing at all in the paper today!
Nothing at all in the paper today
But the births and bankruptcies, deaths and marriages,
But life's events in the old survey
With Virtue begging, and Vice in carriages;
And kindly hearts under ermine gowns,
And wicked breasts under hodden gray;
For goodness belongs not only to clowns,
And o'er others than lords does sin bear sway.
But what do I read? 'Drowned! wrecked!' Did I say
There was nothing at all in the paper today?

Wings to fly. my babies
As we grew my our wings to fly.
Please don't question God why.
Don't think he is unkind Mummy,
We were choosen for grater things.
Our work Is in Heaven above.
To be your Guardian Angels.
Sending down our love.
We know you are sad Mummy.
But we are, with Jesus
And he sings us lullabies.
We watch you every day Mummy.
And we see you cry.
Mummy we wish you wouldn't cry.
we are waiting here in heaven.
And when you come home Mummy,
We will run to you.
Mummy please don't be sad.
Mummy please don't cry.
We are with Jesus and he sings us lullabies.

Today Mummy should have two beautiful babies.
But today Mummy has pain.
Mummy lost you both a while ago.
She never got the chance to meet you.
She never got to say hello.
Didn't really get to say goodbye.
My precious babies you are Angels way up high.
You live in the clouds and shine with the stars.
My Angels you shouldn't be in the sky.
today you should be in mummy's arms.

Meet My Mummy
as the thought gurgul's in my tummy
it's time for me to introduce you to my mummy
we have played the dating game
flowers, choclates and lot's of champange
meet my mummy
we have walked on the sea coast
to our health we have raised many toast's
but a peek on the cheek is all i have recived
i have tried all my idel bantter
but i know you won't give it to me till i make you meet my mummy
meet my mummy
she is a cute old dame
i have used her in many of my love games
when i am unsure that you will sleep with me
i know it's time for me to take you to mummy
meet my mummy
because mummy will reassure you
that i am ur real prince charming
my mummy's smile is very disarming
when nothing will do the trick
it's time to stop being a prick
it's time for you to meet my muumy
meet my mummy
when i have used all the bait
and taken you out for sevral dates
and still you shy away from holding my hand
it's time to play the mummy band
meet my mummy
when all my re-assurances have failed
when you are still unsure will our love sail
it's time to bring in the mummy gail
meet my mummy
she generally does the trick
beta beta you are so pretty
what lovely match you two will make
you can trust mummy to fix up the marriage cake
meet my mummy
now that you have her assurance
it's time to jump with me in bed
it's sex time kitten
it's a great script that my mummy has written
so folks
whenever you fail to get a woman laid
the mummy game
will always work on your dame..............

Teddy Boy
This is the story
About a boy named ted.
If his mother said:
Ted, be good, he would.
Be good, ted. alright.
She told him tales
About a soldier dad,
But it made her sad.
Then she cried, oh my.
Ted used to tell her
He'd be twice as good
And he knew he could,
'cos in his head he said:
Mummy don't worry,
Your teddy boy's here
Taking good care of you.
Mama don't worry,
Your teddy boy's here.
Teddy's gonna see you through.
And she said:
Teddy don't worry
Your mummy's here,
Taking good care of you.
She said: teddy don't worry,
Your mummy's here,
Teddy's gonna see you through.
He said: ta da da...
Then came the day
She found herself a man.
Teddy turned and ran
Oh far away, oh yeah.
He couldn't stand
Just to be around,
So he left the town
Far away, yeah yeah.
Ted used to tell her
He'd be twice as good
And he know he could,
'cos in his head he said:
Mummy don't worry,
Now teddy boy's here,
Taking good care of you.
Mummy don't worry,
Your teddy boy's here.
Teddy's gonna see you through.
And she said:
Teddy don't worry,
Now mummy's here,
Taking good care of you.
Teddy don't worry,
Your mummy's here,
Mummy's gonna see you through.
And he said:
Mummy mummy don't worry,
Your teddy boy's here
Taking good care of you.
Mummy don't worry,
Now teddy boy's here.
Teddy's gonna see you through.
Take your partner
And don't [...],
Hold them tight
And don't let go.
Got it. jump up.
Take your partners
And don't see
When you got it,
Then let it go
Hold them tight then.
Now ted used to tell her
He'd be twice as good,
And he knew he could
'cos in his head, he said:

Letter to my Mother
Mummy tell me, did I bother you
While in comfort of your lovely womb
Mummy tell me.
While dawn had opened, and a new world was created
And the first gasps of air, I did, was my cry so loud?
While dawn had opened.
Mummy while nothing, but a helpless bundle
You made my bed and I sucked your breasts for life
Mummy while nothing.
Mummy that you continue, to wish me well
While am grown, your desire that all is well
Mummy that you continue.
My self I pride, a journey with you in a vast universe
A fountain and fortitude, you no worry, provision is mine.
Myself I pride.

One day perhaps I'll understand.
They say there is no Santa Claus
the bigger kids. Its just your dad
I don’t believe their lies of course
Although sometimes it makes me sad
I haven’t got a dad you see.
He died a long, long time ago
There’s just my mum my sis and me
That’s why I’m certain that I know.
There has to be a Santa Claus.
On Christmas morning there will be.
Some presents for each of us
in piles beneath the Christmas tree.
I only six but I know this.
That Santa works all through the night
making sure he does not miss.
A chance to bring a child delight.
One day I hope to catch the sight
of Santa Claus all dressed in red.
But mummy makes me go to bed
and she will watch for him instead.
She leaves mince pies and ginger wine.
Then she settles down to wait.
My sister goes to bed at nine.
Mum falls asleep and wakes too late.
He’s been and gone, so have the pies
While mother slept, kind Santa crept
into the house and ate the pies.
He left our presents while we slept.
At least that’s what my mother says.
If I should ask why she cries
On this the happiest of days.
Because I miss him she replies.
I’m not quite sure I understand
the reason for my mummy’s tears
Santa has gone back to Lapland
where has lived for years and years.
I think my older sister knows
A secret that she will not tell
She’s not allowed to suppose.
Because she sometimes cries as well.
But I’m a boy and boys don’t cry
But when they cry it makes me sad
Although I really don’t know why.
I never really knew my Dad.

Mother In Law
(a. toussaint)
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
The worst person I know
Mother in law, mother in law
She worries me so
Mother in law, mother in law
If she leaves us alone
We could have a happy home
Sent from down below
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
Satan should be her name
Mother in law, mother in law
To me theyre about the same
Mother in law, mother in law
Everytime I open my mouth
Steps in trying to put me out
How could you stood so low
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
Come home with my pay
Mother in law, mother in law
She asks me what I made
Mother in law, mother in law
She thinks her advice is a contribution
If she would leave that would be the solution
Dont come back no more
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law....

Mummy. Mummy I Could Have...
Mummy, I had just become
Could have become
In your arms beautiful and whole
Says this voice in me
In the abyss it had gone
A rapist seed planted in me
Shattered, dreams to be
Piteous life
And blank mind pushed me.
Mummy help me
By then a cry not done
Dreams elusive
They had become
Old, helpless is me
And nagging is the voice
Mummy, mummy I could have…

Paper Boy
Roy orbison
I walk down to the blue side of town
Where there's no happiness, no joy
Down at the end of a long dark street
I saw a little paper boy
Paper boy paper boy
I've got bad news for you
Paper boy paper boy
Me and my baby are through
She was my love my one and only
I feel so bad i'm oh so lonely
I'm looking for my love
I've got my own headlines for today
They've been the same since she went away
"one dark haired angel disappears
She's been missing for a million years"
Paper boy paper boy
So long goodbye
Paper boy paper boy
Thanks for listening while i cry
I feel a little better now that someone knows
But i will go on looking forever, i suppose
I'm looking for my love
Extra extra read all about it
My baby's gone and i wanna shout it
I'm looking for my love
I'm looking for my love
I'm looking for my love....

Did You Read The Morning Paper
(Nickolas Ashford/Valerie Simpson/R. Monica)
Did you read the morning paper
Did you see the front headline
Did you read the morning paper
Baby let me lend you mine
There on the front page was a picture
Of a crowd as they watched a parade passing by
And through the haze of last nights sleep
Something familiar caught my eye
There was a couple looking so much in love, yes
They had a front line view
And as I pulled the paper closer
I realized standing next to her it was you
Did you read the morning paper
Did you see the front headline
Did you read the morning paper
Baby let me lend you mine
Now I know why you've been working late each night
And no longer have desire to ever hold me tight
And your busy, busy schedule was all a lie
Oh, even the dream with a bonus, oh just another alibi
Did you read the morning paper
Did you see the front headline
Did you read the morning paper
Baby let me lend you mine
Did you get the news today
Did you read the morning paper
Isn't the picture very clear
Where do we go from here
Did you read the morning paper
Did you see the front headlines
Did you read the morning paper
Baby let me lend you mine
Oh, what now
Did you read the morning paper
Did you get the news today
