Voor ieder mens, die 'ooit' een Vluchteling!

Van Vrijheid die Moest
Vrijheid als juk
loopt steeds weer stuk,
het wordt op den duur
censuur voor dictatuur.
Het is verworden tot
ruilmiddel, pecunia, Lot,
markt van vraag en aanbod,
Gouden kalf zonder God.
Schaarste waarvoor gevochten,
zoekend naar ver-gezochten.
Vrijheid als schaarste goed
gepepert in intollerantie,

Imitation Crab Meat
Sir,
The mice have begun to scatter.
And a few are displaying independent attitudes.
What do you recommend we do to keep them under control?
'Add some hip-hop to that soul music.
And upgrade that cheap wine for some Moet.
Those re-allocated funds have finally arrived.
With the cheese and the Moet with baked bacon,
Wrapped around imitation crab meat...
We should have them soon eating out of our hands.'

Purple Rain
(prince)
I never meant to cause you any trouble
I never meant to cause you any pain
I only ever wanted to see you laughing
Only want to see you laughing in the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only want to see you underneath the purple rain
Honey, I never wanted to be your wicked lover
Only wanted to be some kind of friend
I could never leave you for another
Its such a shame our friendship had to end
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only wanted to see you underneath the purple rain
Honey, I know, I know, I know times are changing
This time we all reach out for something new
That means you too
You say youre looking for a leader,
But you cant seem to make up your mind
But you better open it up wide, let it guide you
To the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only want to see you, baby, in the purple rain

If Purple Could Heal You
If Purple Could Heal You
By Tameka Callaway
One day, you told me that Purple is your favorite color.
I wish that purple can heal you
If purple could heal you, I would give purple flowers everyday
in a purple vase that will make your day
I would wear purple lip stick so I come leave kisses on you face
Wish there was purple days and purple nights
If only purple could heal you, I will give a purple glass of purple kool aid with purple ice so you would have a purple tong
I would go to the end of the world to find you the perfect purple yarn so I could make you a purple body suit from head to toe
Oh how I would give you a purple world
But for now, I just give you a purple poem
I love you

What is Purple?
Purple is a mystery.
Purple is happiness.
Purple is home.
Purple is a sanctuary.
And Purple is my own.
A little place in my mind.
A little sunshine in my day.
Purple is who I am.
And Purple is magic.

The Color Purple
a friend of mine is obsessed with purple
she says it's a royal color
fits for kings and queens
and she feels like a princess
on her purple hair
her purple dress
and purple bra and
purple shoes
the walls of her house are painted
the railings of the stairs
the windows
the doors are all purple now
the flowers in her garden
and the leaves of her trees
the grass
all purple too
her speech is purple too
the movies she watch are all in the shade of purple
her car turned purple too
royal color that is what she says
i tell her bluntly, ' You are boring, purple! '

She had said one time, make a choice and do it like Hercules. So if that is all of what is being offered, the idea is to always do it like Hercules and I always followed her advise and now I'm here talking to you.

Fade To Purple
As if Im sitting on purple clouds
Covered in purple shrouds
Singing purple kissed melodies loud
The Purple Master himself would be proud
Gifted, these fragrant purple flowers
Soaking wet, drenched from purple showers
Lifted, high high high atop purple towers
Yet as I walk through purple haze rooms
Filled with purple phased fumes
Im enlightened by the purple tazed blooms
Purple vibes that remove crazed glooms
Hungry I appetize on purple wood blunts
To then feast upon a purple smoke lunch
Break bread, along with the purple grape bunch

Twilight Vista
Twilight is unfolding with an awesome purple view,
A rare parade in shades of crimson too,
This placid scene offers one a moment of peace for a time;
While a lonesome bridge invites one to enjoy more of this grand vista so divine,
From up above where we can take in this glorious purple twilight;
That will sadly only last until the dawn's early light,
Still there's a feeling of warmth from watching the golden lights that glow off the water below;
Where it seems more like a dream.....unbelieveably so;
And for a short while, at least, we were given some reprieve,
From life's many storms, but for now it's time to take our leave.

Purple Pain-A Parody
Inspired by Barny the purple dinosaur
Parody of Prince's song Purple Rain
Purple pain
You were always meant I know
To cause me sorrow
You were always meant I know
To make me wanna bleed my own blood and gouge out my eyes
You were always meant I know
To cause me pain
Now all I ever want
Since I saw you on my tv screen is for you
You damm purple pain to drown
In the purple rain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
I only want to see you drowning in the purple rain
Oh you damm purple pain
I never wanted my kids to love you
I only thought of you as some kind of fiend
Barney, I could never stand you for another minute
So my television now I must turn off
Even through I know it would make my babies cry
It's such a shame that your lifetime has't come to a end
Oh, oh yes it is
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
I only wanted to see you drown
You damm purple pain
In the purple rain
Oh yes it's true
Purple pain
In the purple rain
Honey, you must know
You must know
The channel I'm a changin'
It's time we all tune in to something new
That means not you
You say you could be a rating's leader
But your agent just can't seem to speak his mind
At the right time
I think you had better fire him
And let me drown you
You damm purple pain
In the purple rain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
If you know who I'm singing about up here
C'mon raise your remote
Purple pain
Purple pain
I only want to see you
See you drown
Oh yeah, drown
You purple pain
In the purple rain

As The Purple Shades Of Twilight Call
As the purple shades
of twilight call
from across the garden walls.
I hear old loves reverie
calling out to me.
Old loves refrain
calling out your name
from a distant rendezvous
with you and only you.
The strains of violins
linger on the wind,
pulling at my heartstrings
whenever I think of you.
As the purple shades
of twilight call
from across the garden walls.
Calling out of love again
as the wind whispers your name.

Twilight
The visions dancing in my mind
The early dawn, the shades of time
Twilight crawling through my windowpane
Am I awake or do I dream?
The strangest pictures I have seen
Night is day and twilights gone away
With your head held high and your scarlet lies
You came down to me from the open skies
Its either real or its a dream
Theres nothing that is in between...
Chorus:
Twilight, I only meant to stay awhile
Twilight, I gave you time to steal my mind
Away from me.
Across the night I saw your face
You disappeared without a trace
You brought me here, but can you take me back?
Inside the image of your light
That now is day and once was night
You lead me here and then you go away.
Repeat chorus
(you brought me here, but can you take me back again? )
With your head held high and your scarlet lies
You came down to me from the open skies
Repeat chorus
Twilight, I only meant to stay awhile
Twilight, I only meant to stay awhile
Twilight, twilight, twilight, twilight.

A Lovely Lavender Day
Purple, everything purple, purple
the colour I love, everything packaged
in purple – tile cleaner in a purple
container for lavender sweetness
Also power-cleaning cream for lavender-
fresh effects, the bottle appealing in a
soft purple hue, fabric conditioner in purple
too, accompanied by lavender promises
And my purple hot water bottle – I bought
Nici a purple fleece; a purple coverlet
on my bed, my favourite chocolate in a
purple wrapper
Purple is spiritual in the division of
seven chakra colours – red is earthed in
primitive desire, followed by orange, yellow,
green – the colour of love – and
Blue – the colour of communication, then
purple for third-eye enlightenment - purple
adds lustre and the sweetness of vague
mistiness to everything on which it appears;
Wishing you a lovely lavender day
in all hues of purple and blue!

Love And Sweet Surrender
Within the purple hues at twilight time,
you are wrapped within these arms of mine
as love’s sweet surrender calls
while the sun sets and evening falls.
Here we stand as time is stilled
by our warm embrace;
the world we knew is gone
left without a trace.
We are left to be swallowed
by shadows when they call,
left alone in our dreams
of love and sweet surrender.

A Purple Dragonfly
A purple dragonfly, just caught my eye.
A sharp contrast to the clear blue sky.
He lands on a twig to rest his wings,
Unmindful of danger, and all other things.
As I approach he takes to flight.
Those gossamer wings are a delight.
A purple blur in the twilight gloom,
Up, up, and away, listen to the zoom.

Little Hercules
(written by craig carothers)
So you cannot lift a spirit that has turned to lead
Or shine a light in shadow when the batteries are dead
Or fly like a bird over all the works of man
Or always think of the perfect words
But you do the best you can
Nothing seems as easy as it did when you were young
Myths may be invincible, but we are only strong
Strong like a memory, strong like a willow in the wind
Strong as youll ever be, you will always need to bend
And if you feel the weight of the world
Put your mind at ease
Little hercules
There are times when being a grown-up gets to be too much
And your sense of humor seems to vanish in the crush
Of the daily 9 to 9 that keeps your family alive
Youre just putting in your time
Does anyone really go home at 5?
Youve made a life where no one ever tells you what to do
Now the only tyrant that youre working for is you
Its never easy to keep all the promises you make
But no ones gonna get you fired
If youd just give yourself a brake
And if you feel the weight of the world
Put your mind at ease
Little hercules
cause theres so much on your shoulders
But you know its a breeze
Little hercules
Little hercules
