Fate Accompli
Fate Accompli
the old man of seventy five
next to my bed
is trying to solve the unsolved ones
in his un-decipherable murmurs
he seems to be of high stature
in his hey days
the wife and son left him alone
for medical care
he looks for the control key
dangled for so many years
longed for sympathy compassion
he solicited their assistance
to unmask the unsolved mysteries
but with no avail
will it be the fate of all of us
can't go back to my desired time and place
to sort out problems created by us
no second chance to amend our misdeeds
no return of sympathy from them
for whom we spent our youth and thereafter

SNOW
Silence pervades the day
Nights become longer,
Old memories cover the way
Wonder what to ponder!
RAIN
Reasons take a back –seat,
Answers come forth quick;
Invades the mind’s slot-
Never know what to pick.
SPRING
Sensuous smell of flowers
Powers the mind’s eye;
Regain all lost glories
In poems to beautify-
Nature’s Garden of Eden,
God’s blessing in universe.

May Day Trilogy-3
MAY DAY TRILOGY--3
Shackles were broken at Chicago on this day
Labourers, peasants all became gay;
Economic chains were spread as a net
The world covered on Dollar’s bet;
Perestroika gone, uncle Frankenstein—
Now look for Oriental sun-shine.

The day of being immortal
Maybe I’m at my golden years or maybe at downfall
Maybe everybody still remembers me or maybe nobody’s there
Maybe my looks never changes or maybe my body is strained
Maybe I could destroy the world or maybe I’m too tired to care
Maybe it’s the time my pain all gone or maybe when I’m cursed to live
Maybe I become unsolved mysteries or maybe everybody jealously known

A Mystery
life is a mystery
puzzle unsolved
sometimes tricky
that changed the fate of a person
so the lifetime
must undergo anguish
I never imagined
in dreams
in youth

Accept my sympathy
In all sincerity
It is a pathetic pity
I merely offer sympathy
With such velocity
This sadness born out of the blue
That decides to levy itself on you
In your fixed stillness
I sense your illness
Accept my sympathy
You lost a pet
Somebody made you upset
Accept my sympathy
You lost a friend
Your broken heart is yet to mend
Accept my sympathy
You were once abused
Possibly at times wrongly accused
Accept my sympathy
You marriage is on the rocks
You got divorced, left without a buck
Accept my sympathy
You lost a fortune
Your voice can't sing a decent tune
Accept my sympathy
You lost in love or lost your job
Or perhaps at one stage got robbed
Accept my sympathy
Your life is a mess
Everything around you depresses
Whatever the circumstances
Accept my sympathy
And if I happen to show no sympathy
Please accept my sympathy!

A Red Bar
A red bar,
A chocolate rose,
A brilliant love,
A person defined.
A heart sinks,
A ship dies,
A book reads,
A person pages.
No love can express,
The feelings I have,
I'm an unsolved puzzle,
No band-aid or salve.
An undying trust,
A faith of truth,
I'm an unsolved murder,
Can't solve by a sleuth.
Push and prob,
No humor can poke,
A love so weak,
The fire needs stoked.

Just because the solutions of problems are not visible at any particular time does not mean that those problems will never be alleviated -- or confined to tolerable dimensions. History has a way of changing the very terms in which problems operate and of leaving them, in the end, unsolved, to be sure, yet strangely deflated of their original meaning and importance.

Concern for man himself and his fate must always form the chief interest of all technical endeavors, concern for the great unsolved problems of the organization of labor and the distribution of goods--in order that the creations of our mind shall be a blessing and not a curse to mankind. Never forget this in the midst of your diagrams and equations.

CANVASS-3(Azure) -revised
CANVASS—3(azure) -revised
(Dedicated to Madam Marie Shine a great soul and Irish poet)
my sky is azure today
like the London sky
over the Thames
like the Calcutta sky
in the winter evening
with smog
like the Delhi sky
overcast with fog
in the early hours of the day
still the sun removes
the veil from her face
a gloom like an Albatross
hangs
over my shoulder
behind the window-grills
I feel as if a jail-bird
who will remove this guilt
from my mind
since you have left
with an unspoken word
with the rise of sun
the sky gets clear of fogs
the smog
gets clear by rains
will the guilt be
washed away with tears?
unless you forgive me
forever...

Vampires
Warning: the thematic persona of this poem may offend some readers?
There exists
a certain class
comprising
preying people.
Who strive
emotionally
earnestly endeavour
to enlarge
personified problems.
Using optical illusions
to promote increase
strife awareness.
To stimulate
desired sympathy.
Dug in staunch
chronic sympathy seekers
sell a perverse mixture
comprising bullshit
chickenshit
fish boned gut
seaweed and fresh
horse manure.
Neglected apathetically
chronic sympathy seekers
do indeed ripen
copiously
unless lanced
with indigenous
frost flaming fortitude.
Being listless emotion leeches
sucking compassion
chronic sympathy seekers
tend to leave sought
languid victims drained.
Such spiritually void people
regularly sinuate schemes
to make common misfortune
magnified problems larger.
Carry poverty
with dignity.
No pretence
no attempt to hide.
Look it squarely
straight in sickly eye.
When faced with vigour
adversary will often flinch.

Canvass-1
CANVASS—1
I like red colour always
Like ten horses who drags
The chariot of sun
Your fingertips enameled
With red nail-polish
The under-water plants
With blackish red leaves- akin to blood
You spread this blood everyday
On the dry earth
In the name of religion
In disguise of revolt
Sometimes thru air-attacks
Or the marching of armies with bullets
But how valuable is this red
Without a dropp of which
The life becomes a white canvass

Can't Close My Eyes
When I see violence on the street
when I see a friend getting beat
when I see youth so unaware
can't close my eyes pretend I don't care
Can't close my eyes
when I see an unfair fight
something tells me it's not right
can't let these problems go unsolved
won't close my eyes, I'll get involved

Midnight Sun
(m&l - weikath)
Tried so hard to understand all of your feelings
Tried to cope with your insanities
Come to think about too many ways of healing
What we lost or maybe never had
One small step into the hidden decoy
One more world is help and one will destroy
I woke up in the midnight sun
So aware damage has been done
Agony or sanctuary
Only fate will show the way
From the bright of day into the jaw of darkness
One is shoved, a victim of lie
Friendly face turns into a fiery grimace
Suddenly feelings learn to die
Used up sympathy no chance to return
To a world one know but woulds that will burn
Spent more time in the midnight sun
Still aware of what else has gone
Agonized and hypnotized
When will I be shown the way
Fell asleep and no midnight sun
Still aware justice has been done
No more doubts but disbelief
When the night was day
Celebration, miracle
And fate did show the way

She Does Deserve Great Sympathy
Ageing Bella in the house at the corner outdoors she is not often seen
She was a potential swimming Olympian till a motoring accident she had at eighteen
Brought an end to her swimming career back in ninteen seventy three
And condemned her to life in a wheelchair she does deserve great sympathy.
She could not compete in the Olympics and swim her way into renown
And become the toast of the Nation and the heroine of her Hometown
It robbed her of her chance of having children she has never been any man's wife
one might say she was quite unlucky that accident ruined her life.
She is quite an attractive woman her brown hair flecked with strands of gray
She had spent years of her life in a wheelchair seven to ten years before her prime day
when I meet her she smiles and says hello but sometimes she looks rather sad
I can only empathize with her a terrible life she has had.
Thirty six of her fifty four years in a wheelchair since her widowed mum died five years ago she has lived on her own
Lady luck is surely against her a terrible life she has known
Confined to a wheelchair due to a car crash on the highway which robbed her of her chance of fame
In swimming she was a young champion and for herself making a name.

What's The Problem
Temperatures rise,
With the rolling of eyes...
But,
No nobody seems to want to tell,
What is their problem.
Temperatures rise,
With the rolling of eyes...
But,
No nobody seems to want to tell,
About their problems...
To settle and to solve them.
Rolling eyes and moody pouting,
Giving attitude nonstopping...
With a rising of a heat to pass.
But no one has asked,
What's the problem.
Fussing with a cussing too!
As if this is a way to prove,
Being rude and talking crude..
Will even up a score.
But no one wants to take the time to ask,
What are the problems.
To settle and to solve them.
Solutions to confusion can be reached,
If people solved them.
But no one wants to take the time to tell,
What are their problems...
To settle and to solve them.
Gossip starts to leaking,
With a tit for tat-a seeking.
But nobody stops to reach out just to tell,
About their problems.
To settle and to solve them.
No nobody seems to want to tell,
About their problems.
No nobody seems to want to tell,
About their problems.
To settle and to solve them.
'Are you kidding?
That's all I hear 'everyday'...
People who've got problems.'
Oh yeah?
But are you listening to them,
With an assistance given...
To help them get solved?

Snow-acrostic- Quadruplets-nature
ACROSTIC-SNOW
Snow-clad hills invite me
Nowhere else I find peace
Obliterates all my feeling
When embraced in profound cling
ACROSTIC-SNOW-SEA
Sea alone in its vastness
Negates all my distress;
Obvious calmness prevails,
When my hairs get her kiss.
ACROSTIC-SNOW-DESERT
Sand-dun es in a vast desert,
Not a shade, water or heart;
Only loneliness prevails upon
With camel and God to carry on.
ACROSTIC-SNOW-NATURE
Somber soothing nature’s treat
Nothing else can make complete
Overt desires men cherish
With longing love and good wish.

A Broken Clock
The days seem to creep on by
And every day I ask myself why,
Why has this life become the way it did
But somethings are not meant to be answwered
At night I left myself cry
And sometimes it feels that I want to die,
But I tell myself life goes on
And theres still hope for him to be mine
Time likes to be slow today
And I can't remember all that you say,
I guess if it was important
Then I wouldn't have forgotten it
Time seems to have a mind of it's own
And the more days pass the farther apart we grow,
I hope that one day fate will let us be
But in all honesty I don't listen to fate
Fate can't stop time
And fate won't stop me,
But you seem to not see it that way
And thats why you left that one day
Did the clock break?
How much longer will this take?
I think the time has completly stopped
Since you left me here alone in the dark

The Garden
She has a bed of daisies
she waters every day.
She knows when they start blooming
she’ll be far away
The water can she keeps filling,
the daisies are never dry
and their memory of her she is growing
til the day of her goodbye
Setting down the watering can.
It’s come now- way too soon.
Four days left to enjoy
this beauty she has brewed.
No twist of fate can end this need
to leave the place of love,
with all this tender care she’s given,
can she receive no compassion from above?
This morning came a joyous triumph
-the first bud is half bloomed.
Not as much can be said for the siblings
who grow taller –oh what a view.
They love her so and they don’t know
that in a few days she will leave.
BUT understand, when she comes back again,
none of their beauty can she retrieve.
And that is what makes her
so sad and alone
for these flowers she has dutifully cared,
And she won’t be home
when they become full-grown
of their condition on her return she is scared.

Just Yield
There are forty-two
Taking my test on Shakespeare
I see a hand go up
I walk over
“What’s it, ” I ask
Sir, “What’s Fate?
Should I
Write the whole story
Of Romeo and Juliet
Or should I just write on Fate? ”
“It’s that
Which we don’t
Have control over....
Write on the role of Fate, ” I explain.
“It’s all planned,
F o r e o r d a i n e d, ”
I tell myself.
How I used to think
In my younger days
That I can control Fate
Wrest it out, direct, execute
Better sense prevails, now
Just y i e l d.
