Education as an Antidote to Mud
The Army taught me a great lesson
The way to stay out of the mud
Is to go to school.
This formula is as simple as it is true
Alexander Solzhenitsyn has validated it too
And even General Patton has granted us the lesson
That the best use for mud is for education.

Everlasting Lesson
Thirteen years of school
A little more for further studies
General, social, history lessons
Life and street rules
Vice versa, slips, trips many falls
Start or end with the blues
Plenty songs sang relating on the journey
Old school and new school
Many different battles and scars
Same title: The fight.
Plenty obstacles, different bridge destinations
A journey, same struggle: The climb.
Every individual owns claim to their own stories
Same topic: Life.
From birth ‘til death
A constant lesson
Repercussion, obstacles, compassion
Beginning to end, the journey and destination
A grim awakening
Struggles are our teachers
Life's the lesson
We're the students
The mind is the question to
our everlasting lesson

Hetuaght me a lesson
He said he was going to
teach me a lesson.
I needed to no some things.
The lesson was rape.
But he said it was a game.
He said I had to learn sometime.
When he'd finished.
He smiled and said.
This happens to
Stupid little girls
All the time.
I was only teaching you a lesson.
If it was a lesson to learn
It was one well tuaght.
Be weary of who you trust.
For you never can
Read people like a book.
If you could
The world would be safe.
It was a lesson hard learned.
One that still remains today.
Its a lesson that effects me still.
I only wish I could
Of turned and run.
Only when your young
Like that you dont
Really understand.
If I did
I would of ran.
A thousand miles a way.
Out of reach.
And out of harms way.

Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not it is the first lesson that ought to be learned and however early a man's training begins, it is probably the last lesson that he learns thoroughly.

New Colour for Education in My Country
Many International Schools are opened
They bring rainbow in my country
They will hand in hand with public school
To give good Education for our next generation
Character Building is one of the great purpose
That we should build to our children
since the beginning
Give our future generation
Knowing more then knowledge
But also a beautiful heart and mind
Parents should hand in hand with teachers
To introduce this beautiful lesson
A school is very lucky
If it has a great teacher
Not only have a good knowledge
But also have a Hugh heart to love their students
To care of parents problem
To be there when their students cry
To Help parents to teach their kids the best lesson in life
A teacher who has a great heart to make our children to be a Gold
in their own country
I wish i can be that kind of teacher
But it's still long journey to go
Me, still need to learn how become a great mom
Is Justice Really Blind?
You say the justice system
Is very fair and true
But I don’t believe it
Especially from you
Because when you have money
Freedom can be bought
That is a simple lesson
Early on I was taught
If you have great wealth
There’s much you can achieve
Because without money
There’s little reason to believe
That justice is really blind
And the law will treat you right
All these thoughts come to me
As I sleep in my cell tonight

Kid Gloves
A world of difference
A world so out of touch
Overwhelmed by everything
But wanting more so much
Call it blind frustration
Call it blind mans bluff
Call each other names
Your voices rude,
Your voices rough
Then you learn the lesson
That its cool to be so tough
Handle with kid gloves
Handle with kid gloves
Then you learn the lessons
Taught in school wont be enough
Put on your kid gloves
Put on your kid gloves
Then you learn the lesson
That its cool to be so tough
A world of indifference
Heads and hearts too full
Careless of the consequence
Of constant push and pull
Anger got bare knuckles
Anger play the fool
Anger wear a crown of thorns
Reverse the golden rule
Then you learn the lesson
That its tough to be so cool
Handle with kid gloves
Handle with kid gloves
Then you learn the weapons
And the ways of hard-knock school
Put on your kid gloves
Put on your kid gloves
Then you learn the lesson
That its tough to be so cool

You want a lesson? I'll give you a lesson. How about a geography lesson? My father's from Puerto Rico. My mother's from El Salvador. And neither one of those is Mexico.

I Was The One
(words & music by schroeder - demetruis - blair - peppers)
I was the one who taught her to kiss
The way that she kisses you now.
And you know the way she touches your cheek,
Well, I taught her how.
I was the one who taught her to cry
When she wants you under her spell.
The sight of her tears drives you out of your mind,
I taught her so well.
And then one day
I had my love as perfect as could be.
She lived, she loved, she laughed, she cried,
And it was all for me.
Ill never know who taught her to lie.
Now that its over and done,
Who learned the lesson when she broke my heart?
I was the one.
And then one day
I had my love as perfect as could be.
She lived, she loved, she laughed, she cried,
And it was all for me.
Ill never know who taught her to lie.
Now that its over and done,
Who learned the lesson when she broke my heart?
I was the one.

Life Is a Lesson
Life is a lesson.
Don't be afraid to live it!
Take what it gives...
And return to it a thankfulness.
Life is a lesson.
We all have tests to pass.
Some attempt to refuse their tasks.
And fall to to become indignant and crass.
Life is a lesson.
Learn your lessons well.
Some will choose a path to heaven!
Others will curse themselves...
Preferring to address their stressing hell!
Life is a lesson!
Do what is received as given...
And perceive with that,
You are doing you're best!
At least...
You are doing what you can and well!

Finding Peace Within
Where are your children?
They are awfully quiet this evening.
'We're trying new methods of discipline.
My doctor told me this morning,
I should try yoga to calm my nerves.'
That's great.
So you taught the children?
Is that where they are?
Doing yoga?
'Oh no!
I found an easier way to find peace within.
For a half hour each day...
And for total relaxation,
I tie the kids up and tape their mouths! '
You shouldn't do that.
That's against the law.
'That's where you and I disagree.
I am finding peace within.
And they are helping me locate it!
I told them my doctor suggested I do this,
For at least two weeks.
They believe this is lesson one! '
What is lesson two?
'Total rage!
That is what they will see.
If they forget the rules of lesson one.'
But you're not doing any yoga at all.
'I beg to differ.
It's a slow process.
I am working on my breathing technique.
Calms the nerves!
You should try it.
It's wonderful.'

Do You Feel Anything Loose?
You relied on intuition,
Which through perception...
You sought out to teach,
One you believed with ego...
A lesson.
And after doing so...
The one perceived with ego,
Had lessons to teach as well.
Inspired by those,
With similar quests to prove.
And the one lesson,
That has to remain on your mind...
As constant as your knack to judge a book,
By the appearance of its cover.
And...
The one lesson learned you recently was taught!
I can tell this by your lack of motivation to talk.
Someone you thought shallow...
Proved to you to be deep under the surface.
~Never assume you can feed yourself on perceptions.
You will die from starvation.~
You must enjoy knocking your head up against walls?
Do you feel anything loose?

One That Was Not Sought
A gift is given...
Without an ego displayed,
By the giver attached.
The receiver of the gift...
Believing there to be more,
To this giving...
Than something as simple,
As that!
And...
The gift given is given back.
With sarcastic remarks...
And other unnecessary verbal attacks.
The giver of the gift,
Although offended by this...
Keeps a head straight on shoulders.
And makes only forward steps.
With a lesson learned...
And not a temper to display,
The gift giver never shows a disappointment.
Or has a thing to say.
Knowing that a wisdom,
Came as a surprise lesson taught.
From a teacher in disguise.
And from one that was not sought.

The Lesson
1899-1902 -- Boer War
Let us admit it fairly, as a business people should,
We have had no end of a lesson: it will do us no end of good.
Not on a single issue, or in one direction or twain,
But conclusively, comprehensively, and several times and
again,
Were all our most holy illusions knocked higher than Gilde-
roy's kite.
We have had a jolly good lesson, and it serves us jolly well
right !
This was not bestowed us under the trees, nor yet in the shade
of a tent,
But swingingly, over eleven degrees of a bare brown conti-
nent.
From Lamberts to Delagoa Bay, and from Pietersburg to
Sutherland,
Fell the phenomenal lesson we learned-with a fullness ac-
corded no other land.
It was our fault, and our very great fault, and not the judg-
ment of Heaven.
We made an Army in our own image, on an island nine by
seven,
Which faithfully mirrored its makers' ideals, equipment, and
mental attitude--
And so we got our lesson: and we ought to accept it with
gratitude.
We have spent two hundred million pounds to prove the fact
once more,
That horses are quicker than men afoot, since two and two
make four;
And horses have four legs, and men have two legs, and two
into four goes twice,
And nothing over except our lesson--and very cheap at the
price.
For remember (this our children shall know: we are too near
for that knowledge)
Not our mere astonied camps, but Council and Creed and
College--
All the obese, unchallenged old things that stifle and overlie
us--
Have felt the effects of the lesson we got-an advantage no
money could by us!
Then let us develop this marvellous asset which we alone
command,
And which, it may subsequently transpire, will be worth as
much as the Rand.
Let us approach this pivotal fact in a humble yet hopeful
mood--
We have had no end of a lesson, it will do us no end of good!
It was our fault, and our very great fault--and now we must
turn it to use.
We have forty million reasons for failure, but not a single
excuse.
So the more we work and the less we talk the better results
we shall get--
We have had an Imperial lesson; it may make us an Empire
yet!

Never Burn a Bridge That Has Been Easily Given
You've lost your job and home,
The respect of your spouse...
And now your kids roam,
All over the place with hoodlums.
Since they wish not to be alone.
And I am quite surprised you've come to me.
I've lived for years on a fixed income.
And my life is lived basic and happily.
You told me once I had a life you could not live.
So glad I am blessed to have it...
And sorry to learn your life is the way it is.
I am sure there will be many lessons,
You will come to learn.
There was one you taught me yourself.
Never burn a bridge that has been easily given.
Especially one you did not earn.
And constructed just for you to cross.
Since one never knows,
When the desire to cross it again will be yearned.
But a connection has been lost.
'That's a lesson I taught to you?
I don't recall saying that.'
You don't have to!
It was my lesson.
And you were there like you are right now,
To keep it fresh as if just taught.

For War The Cost Is Great
As well as for World harmony another huge setback
There is one big lesson to be learned from Iraq
Those who invade other Countries a huge price must pay
For war the cost is great tis always been this way.
Yet powerful leaders and their advisors never learn of war history
Beyond their big egos they cannot seem to see
They tell us of freedom yet they themselves are free
Of compassion for others and human empathy.
So many must suffer and die for a war to be won
And in war winners are losers when all is said and done
For how can one be a winner with so many human lives lost
A victory in war does come at a great cost.
And yet we hear more rumors of war every day
Most leaders with great power lack in wisdom twould be fair to say
And in the future will the lesson of Iraq be another lesson in vain
For the lessons of war in the past do remain.

Be True To Your School
When some loud braggart tries to put me down
And says his school is great
I tell him right away
Now whats the matter buddy
Aint you heard of my school
Its number one in the state
So be true to your school now
Just like you would to your girl or guy
Be true to your school now
And let your colors fly
Be true to your school
I got a lettermans sweater
With a letter in front
I got for footbal and track
Im proud to where it now
When I cruise around
The other parts of the town
I got a decal in back
So be true to your school now
Just like you would to your girl or guy
Be true to your school now
And let your colors fly
Be true to your school
On friday well be jacked up on the football game
And Ill be ready to fight
Were gonna smash em now
My girl will be working on her pom-poms now
And shell be yelling tonight
So be true to your school now
Just like you would to your girl or guy
Be true to your school now
And let your colors fly
Be true to your school
Rah rah rah be true to your school
Rah rah rah be true to your school
Rah rah rah be true to your school
Rah rah rah be true to your school
