Debit The Window Side
In an office Government,
There was an Accountant,
On the day of his retirement,
Took part in an entertainment,
For his long spotless service,
Three decades in the same office.
High of him spoke everyone,
Praised him with no exception,
That he promptly closed his books,
This kept him high in their looks,
There being no single occasion,
To show his delayed action.
“I know less of bookkeeping,
Not as easy as housekeeping.
Perhaps that which’s not a debit,
Is what they say is a credit.
And quite likely, it’s a debit,
That which’s not a credit.”
“This much sure I knew,
From the staff there a few,
The man next to my seat,
Gave me a hint, a voucher to post,
That window side was the debit,
While its opposite was the credit”
“I never moved from the seat,
As the purpose it would defeat,
The window side, I looked,
A debit voucher, when I booked.
This way, my accounts tallied,
I was happy, not much worried, ”
His reply shocked every one,
Assembled there in the function,
As under a misapprehension,
They gave undue appreciation,
To a man free from botheration,
Till the day of his superannuation.

A Wanta Be
Pity all the wanta bees
drones to misfortune
short cut seekers to fame
beware hidden strings
to make a puppet dance!
Do you know a wanta be?
Andy G is an incurable wanta be
poor fool he wants to be rich famous
to live the life a fabulous dream life
one of those people who will always spend
all their salary plus more always more
always broke so he self cursing claims
except when secretly spending
always spending spending spending
running up new credit card debit
credit card debit is a vicious scary trap
highest interest readily bank available
springs shut like a clamp clam
when maxed out your purchase quota
no interest no interest no interest
for three six months pulls suckers in
credit card debit is a deadly sickness
infecting spend spend spend target pigeons
come pay day minimum payment
is one day more required than you can ever pay
more than you can pay with food bills manage
now juggle bills finances spend master
mortgage luxury purchase payments
here comes lurking repossession master
taking back toys temporary joys
leaving horrible black holes holes holes
in your hollow empty souls souls souls
stripping house flat bare of furnishings
rooms bare cupboards bare do you care
credit card fraud juggler credit card fraud
is a crime to jail you must go go go
possessions people do not make us happy
we must find that happiness within ourselves
it is not the duty of any except ourselves
to find life purpose to fill all the empty spaces
forget false dreams temporal credit card bliss
this for you I fear I fear
please my friend do not go there!

Tide and Fall
Tears just dropped
As I had totally flopped
At large scale on each front
Only to repent and bear the brunt
On life's platter
What to utter?
It is tragic
Without any basic
I have nothing to claim as credit
Everything goes on side of the debit
Not a single instance I can cite
As if holy one to recite
What did I give her?
Except pain to bother
Never took her seriously
Harassed and caused shocks mentally
How come people say bluntly?
'Life is like two wheels' fluently
When they observe no norms
Live life like insects and worms
What did I do to justify?
My association to simplify
The living style to suit our need
Except hunt towards greed
She stood by the side
As if to witness areas very wide
Right from marriage life to social obligation
She did right thing for holy relation
I sit under tree and hear melody
She was not ordinary or somebody
But as an integral part of life crusade
I simple made cruel joke and took it as trade
It can be termed as cry in wilderness
Not to be linked to an ideal face
It might have not represented sunny side
Yet to show the world on the side of fall and tide

People In the City
… people eat junk food and curry
because they are always in a hurry
… people collide into each other
without saying sorry
… people talk on mobile phones
in high pitch tones
… people hardly ever smile
because they are paranoid or shy
… people suffer from obesity
because they drive everywhere
… people inhale polluted air
because of fumes in the atmosphere
… people litter the streets
because the penalty fines are too cheap
… people commit crimes in the streets
because there aren’t enough cops on the beat
… people are always late
because the railway tracks are out of date
… people live on credit
because they pay bills by direct debit
… people are unable to relax
because they pay high income tax
… people suffer from stress
because they never rest

Corporate Balance Sheet
Again the last year
was massing maximum
bean counter wealth
profit driven accountability
has no morality
no loyalty no stealth
multinational companies
buy sell strip assets
new balance sheet to sow
entire bought out companies
all staff shot down
like ducks all in a row
the loyal worker
giving a lifetime
to one employer
credit balance
does not show
the old the aged
in buy out merger
have no life preserver
debit carried
no pack your bags go
country after country
feels these reforms
cold bankers toe
before a cry for freedom
from oppression
manipulation by corporate
global countries exploitation
means ruin
paid proof
maximization?

Credit In The Straight World
And I will awake
Your highness- Im so high I cannot walk
And I will awake
You cripple, you take away my time, my peace, my empathy
No babies sleep on atrophy
Your unborn love and fetals dree
My bitter [ ] legless caress
Go for credit in the straight world
Look a dealer in the eye
Go for credit in the real world, wont you try?
I got some credit in the straight world
I lost a leg, I lost an eye
Go for credit in the real world you will die
Its the credit in the straight world
Leave your money when you die
Lots of credit in the straight world gets you high
I got some credit in the straight world
I lost a leg, I lost an eye
Go for credit in the real world, you will die

The Reckoning
It's fine to have a blow-out in a fancy restaurant,
With terrapin and canvas-back and all the wine you want;
To enjoy the flowers and music, watch the pretty women pass,
Smoke a choice cigar, and sip the wealthy water in your glass.
It's bully in a high-toned joint to eat and drink your fill,
But it's quite another matter when you
Pay the bill.
It's great to go out every night on fun or pleasure bent;
To wear your glad rags always and to never save a cent;
To drift along regardless, have a good time every trip;
To hit the high spots sometimes, and to let your chances slip;
To know you're acting foolish, yet to go on fooling still,
Till Nature calls a show-down, and you
Pay the bill.
Time has got a little bill -- get wise while yet you may,
For the debit side's increasing in a most alarming way;
The things you had no right to do, the things you should have done,
They're all put down; it's up to you to pay for every one.
So eat, drink and be merry, have a good time if you will,
But God help you when the time comes, and you
Foot the bill.

The Hem Of The Holy Garment...
we who speak as if we knew,
still jump at shadows in the night.
stopping for prayer and crossing ourselves,
reciting scriptures with trembling hearts.
or sit crosslegged on our debit cards,
for a dose of enlightenment.
or walk behind teachers as if we were sheep,
praying to be delivered from the battle.
god is not god,
god is more than that.
cannot be bought by ritual or repitition.
enlightenment hath no debit card,
and sheep are led to slaughter.
the path must be walked,
the battle must be fought.
the soul's questions cannot be answered
by anyone else.
the truth is much broader than our concepts,
and we are more than our egos.
the cost of life is living,
no one else can pay the bill.
the meaning of life is then love,
and love demands all without reservation.
each moment is eternity.
redemption must be had together.
the truth that sets us free,
begins in the heart and moves through the hands.
we are not seperate...
all that lives is a part of the whole.
when the hand hurts the feet must suffer,
when the eyes are taken, the ears must lead.
god is not a noun, but a verb....
always there, in every face, in every leaf,
in every river, in every tree.
when we see with our hearts we know this,
and now our feet must follow our hearts!
we are the prayers of holiness,
the flesh and bones of compassion,
and miracle....
we touch the hem of the holy garment,
when we reach out to those in need!

she's Called Latonya In Oxford Circus
Cut-glass cheeks, nazel brown eyes
Ample pouts, shivering shouts
Frivolous fish-nets bidding goodbyes
Some blonde cop hugs
As if all of us are but thugs
Some munches nibbling chicken fries
Awaiting coffee mugs
Some planets......never love
Some players.......never match
Some spectators at watch
That some credit never crunches
With the debit in clutch
Some trying to wash the linen
As if have never seen a raven
Here.....nobody knows her abacus
Come Spartacus or Selukas
Here......no-one knows her parapharnelias
Come Cornelius to Copernicus
But she appeared......
And disappeared
A well with her apparatus
An American said
She is called Latonya in Oxford Circus.
A concen not a all
Life has not concerned me at all
I have responded to her every call
I did attempt not witness any fall
I scaled highest peak and crushed the wall
I was mentally prepared and up with full zeal
I was determined to post victory and seal
It was going to be a perfect deal
The life was to be enjoyed in real
It has its timings and does not come before time
You will have to brace up and decide the goal prime
It must be pushed with all force you have at your command
You must be perusing it with all considerations at demand
The life is not fulfilled as you must have some one to witness
You lie down in earnest, open up and confess
If there is no one listening to your story?
It will be cruel joke and you may come to feel it sorry
I have come to know the real strength behind success
I had longed for it ever and tried to have open access
It will be only you who will take me to shore
I will then go all out for drive and explore
I did know what the companions mean to me
The whole world is meaningless without Thee
There is something behind for your real show
You may be there as reality and definitely grow
Nothing ends in tragedy until you invite
Spoil the relation and deliberately ignite
You can’t call differently for day a night
Wrong may always prove wrong and right a right
Have a gut to accept in real sense
Face it bravely and never feel tense
Give a credit that is due and deserved
Nothing should go against as it is minutely observed
No one can claim for anything which comes on he way
Some has definitely helped you to come and stay
It is becoming of a good man to pass on the credit
Pass on all good things to others and retain bad things as debit
As I analyze and judge the action for past
It strikes me forever to stay in race till last
I may move on but some one is really there as an inspiration
This I must make as an honest revelation
She was there upper most in my mind
At every moment she was there to find
Her move was courageous and inspiring
She had good guess and effective umpiring

Fait accompli
the plane took off
i realized i did not like the aisle seat
i transferred to the window seat
and the stewardess said
'excuse me, sir! ' trying to stop me
for doing so,
i pretended i heard no one
moved as fast a i can towards the window seat
fastened my seat belt
and put my head
well rested on the
beside the window
below the clouds flew
past me
on a deceiving speed
the mountains spread
benumbing

Scales of Justice
There is a law which guarantees
that as you sow so shall you reap,
there’s no point in not guilty pleas.
The record keeper never sleeps.
That which you give you will receive.
The correct balance must be kept
just simple justice I believe.
You have no choice you must accept
The punishment that you deserve.
Forget the lies you have been taught
repenting misdeeds will not serve.
Your protestations count for nought.
The scales must balance exactly.
The credit and the debit side,
no one is punished unjustly.
The law is equally applied.
There’s only you gives evidence
before a jury of your peers,
with wisdom and experience
to understand your hopes and fears
They will advise you that’s what they do.
About the things you need to learn
but the decisions left to you.
To choose to rest or quick return.
To start again with a clean sheet.
Another chance for you to earn
the merits needed to complete
the lessons which you need to learn.
Each life we live a step towards
a destination still unknown
Where we receive our just rewards
because we are at last full grown.

Sickened To A Rage
Even what is currently owed,
Will take decades to repay.
Yet they quibble over bits,
As to who will be responsible.
For the paying back of credits that debit.
With no ending of it.
Like children playing,
On an open field.
Long after the lights,
Have left them in darkness.
They argue and fight amongst themselves.
With both sides losing,
All respect from the people.
Who have become sickened to a rage,
That they actually stood by.
To watch in disgust,
Acknowledging.
The standards that they valued,
Has paid for this representation of misfits.

Open Up Your Eyes
The Hollies
Open Up Your Eyes
(Allan Clarke/Tony Hicks/Graham Nash)
Single release as B-side of "Jennifer Eccles" 1968
Open up your eyes, lookin' at the people
Wouldn't it be nice if they were always smilin'
Open up your eyes, lookin' at the people
Wouldn't it be nice if they were always smilin', smilin'
Wake in the mornin', look out of my window
Down on the street as the people pass by
Wonderful faces, awake but asleep
Rushing around with appointments to keep
Rushing around with appointments to keep
Bald-headded banker, with bowler on head
Credit for debit still in the red
School girl in pigtails and freckly nose
Tryin' to remember her latin prose
Tryin' to remember her latin prose
Open up your eyes, lookin' at the people
Wouldn't it be nice if they were always smilin'
Open up your eyes, lookin' at the people
Wouldn't it be nice if they were always smilin', smilin'
Open up your eyes, open up your eyes
Open up your eyes, open up your eyes
Isn't it surprisin' what you'll find?
{Interlude}
Open up your eyes, open up your eyes
What are they thinkin'? What's on their minds?
Are they all lookin' for somethin' to find?
Decreasin' circles, running around
Searchin' for somethin' they've already found
Searchin' for somethin' they've already found
Open up your eyes, lookin' at the people
Wouldn't it be nice if they were always smilin'
Open up your eyes, lookin' at the people
Wouldn't it be nice if they were always smilin'
Open up your eyes, lookin' at the people

Let Him Know
Ladies,
We are all we have…
Pulling ourselves up…
Holding each others hand…
Lending that shoulder…
Yes! We are getting…
Boulder…mmm…
Maybe just a little colder…
We need love…
But mainly respect…
Which contains love…
In that…put us above…
We love the man…
Who can truly stand…
Not relying on credit…
Or debit…
But believing in us…the woman…
Respect has but one way…
We deserve it each and everyday…
Queen…in or out of the dreams…
Of man…
Men should never abuse women…
There queen…or any one else…
Strong and intelligent…
There is no reason why…
Any abuse…
For I am (we are) stars…
In our own rite…
We…give the world light…
So keep us in your sight…
Plan wonderful things for us…
Love and cherish us…
Laugh and play with us…
Show us love…
We are not hard to deal with…
Just sometimes you don’t…know
When to quit…
We are your mothers…and
Your sister not your brothers…
We are yours…
Sweet and kind…
Your woman…
A God divine…
Help watch over us…
And… what we should have…
Help us…help…you…
Together we are strong…
Much… can never go wrong…
For we as one…
Are mightier…then…
A winded sea…
God has blessed both…
Of us…
With me…

Dealing With 'Accepted' Reality
The most difficult part in dealing with 'accepted' reality,
Is the financing of the delusional side of it.
With loans due and credit rates soaring to pay.
And creditors seem to lose their sense of humor,
The moment an application is signed...
And denied for having no credit history.
With no one to co-sign for a lifetime of dependency.
Or one having such bad credit a rating no longer applies.
Leaving those with no debts at all...
Feeling ostracized and looked upon as threats.
And today...
If one is not in foreclosure,
Or has a repossession in progress...
A feeling of being in total isolation is the experience.
With stares received from others for being unpatriotic!

Duel Aspect
For every debit there is a credit,
Someone’s loss is else ones' profit,
One can sell if someone purchase,
New thing comes if existing erased.
When one facet is up other is down,
Back is dark, on front light is thrown,
As echo you will get what you confer
Same will come back, rage or love.
You like some one and other wont'
One may like you but other may not.
You do acts knowing your position
It may cause others else situation.
One’s pleasure may be others' fret
One's selfish act may others upset.
If night, waiting for morning to set
If it is day wait for night, to have rest.
To gain wealth take risk and pain
Sacrifice wealth for comfort, then.
How can you gain if don't take pain
Notice, what you miss for the gain.
If one can understand both facets
Balance situation to decide the best.

No Voucher For You
Inspired by Lydon.
God save my bank
And its greedy regime,
They got all my cash
In their dirty stash.
God save my job!
There is a hungry mob,
They want to rob me,
Wanna outjob me.
You can tell 'em, mate, what you want
And you can tell 'em, mate, what you need –
There's no voucher – no voucher –
No voucher for you!
God save my tent –
I mean it, man!
The storm is coming,
Tent saves!
God save my wife,
My junk-food chef,
But I figure now,
For my problems she's deaf!
Again same history,
Another masquerade –
Life has left me behind
And all my friends are bribed!
With your future we can do anything,
You are searchin' where we've just been;
We're possessin' the future –
Your vouchers & your future!
God save my mind,
By all means now –
I've never dreamt
Of this!
God save my beer –
C'mon, beer, get near! –
There is no future
In near future!
No voucher for me,
No voucher for you.
Wrong future for you.

October the Post Office Cat
Some thought she was a stray
That had come for scraps along the way
That might be left from the lunch
Of the post office staff; a kindly bunch.
But others knew her for what she was,
October the Post Office Cat.
She had a duty like any employee
To be on time and serve the public daily
And as any other as all know,
Had an official position just so.
October the Post Office Cat.
As soon as the walks were swept
And the doors were opened for the daily visits,
She found her space upon the walk
A bit removed so that none would balk
As they came to do their task or mail whatever.
October the Post Office Cat.
She often times was given the duty
Of minding some child whose custodian
Had business to attend
In dealing with the letters or packages within,
So she laid there carefully in the sun
Till end of day when her work was done.
October the Post Office Cat.
She was known by all who came along that way
Parking carefully throughout the day
Making sure that she was not disturbed
As she, her duties did perform.
Watching and listening to the sounds of pleasure
That only can be bestowed on one to treasure.
Yet adults knew not how to measure.
October the Post Office Cat.
On the post across the way
A yellow sign was placed on display
By the lady who ran the insurance office
Who wanted to be sure that others notice
That this was the path taken each day
As the cat came to begin her official stay.
October the Post Office Cat.
There came a time when she did not appear
And it was certainly a time to fear
That something had befallen this special one
Who worked so hard to please everyone
And the sign was removed so that all would know
That she wouldn't be there anymore.
October the Post Office Cat.
Then mysteriously the sign reappeared
On the post for all to read
Which proclaimed that this was the crossing
Reserved for the cat that all were missing.
And it's said that she comes each day
Although never seen by adults on their way
But the children know that she is there.
October the Post Office Cat.
