Natalia’s Resurrection: Sonnet IV

But Adrian, who was young and all athirst
For human joy, and turbulent and strong,
Grew discontent with her despairs and curst,
Nor spared he her the jibings of his tongue.
He mocked at her vain virtue and the words
She used to comfort him when sometimes she
With weak heart battling, like a troubled bird's
Which sees the nets, would ease his misery
With telling her own pain and making show
Of her soul's hunger to his hungry soul.
It only angered him, this prate of woe,
And back he thrust on her her beggar's dole
Of idle sighs. And ``If I have not bread,
For pity let me be and starve,'' he said.

Take Your Pain Away

If I could find a way
To soothe your troubled mind
Then I would erase your fears
And help you to unwind.
I would ease the burden
That you carry everyday.
Oh - dont you know Id find a cure
And take your pain away.
Take your pain away
Take your pain away...
And even though youre far from here
Dont forget Im always near.
Find comfort in these words I send
In this cold world.
Take your pain away
Take your pain away...
For every aching heart
For every broken soul...
So give up your worries
Theyll only do you harm.
There is no need to be concerned
Its just a false alarm.

Another Horror Movie

who wants to show pain?
no one wants to show it and be pitied
pity can kill
makes you shrink like a chunk of sugar into some tears

everyone wants to show a happy face in the road
people walk and smiles everyone
and when the back goes a distance
everyone is back to their serious faces again
twisted lips, crashing teeth
misshaped jaws

one time that night
i show pain in the mirror
the mirror laughs
it is telling me it is not me
and i look funny with it
it says i do not fit well as a beggar of affection
it teases me
that when in pain i look like a liar
an old Pinocchio
with a broken wooden nose
reaching the door from the comfort room

i insist that this time it is true
my tears are rolling like a river on the tributaries of my cheeks
the mirror

finally screams
i am another movie.

A Friend

A friend is someone whose arms reach out
far beyond their reach,
to comfort a troubled soul,
and help them through their troubled times.

A friend is someone who always freely gives,
expecting nothing in return,
and is always there
whenever the need may arise.

A friend is someone who cares from the heart.
Who will stand by your side
whenever the troubles start.

A friend is someone whose face may never be seen,
but whose touch is always felt
and their words always
comfort your ailing soul.

A friend is someone who will never criticize,
but will listen to a troubled mind
without complaining.

A friend is someone who is all these,
and so much more.
Someone who will never ignore you,
but will always have the time.

To Isa in Heaven

Early, bright, transient, chaste as morning dew,
She sparkled, was exhaled, and went to heaven! — Young.

Where is she now?
Oh! Isa! tell me where thou art?
If death has laid his hand upon thy brow,
Has he not touched my heart?
Has he not laid it in the grave with thine,
And buried all my joys?—Speak! thou art mine!

If thou were dead,
I would not ask thee to reply;
But thou art living—thy dear soul has fled
To heaven, where it can never die!
Then why not come to me? Return—return
And comfort me, for I have much to mourn!

I sigh all day!
I mourn for thee the livelong night!
And when the next night comes, thou art away,
And so is absent my delight!
Oh! as the lone dove for his absent mate,
So is my soul for thee disconsolate!

I long for death—
For any thing—to be with thee!
I did inhale, alas! thy dying breath,
That it might have some power on me
To make me what thou art!—but, thou art dead!
And I am here!—it strengthened me instead!

Joy there is none—
It went into the grave with thee!
And grief, because my spirit is alone,
Is all that comes to comfort me!
The very air I breathe is turned to sighs,
And all mine soul is melting from mine eyes!

I hear, at even,
The liquid carol of birds;
Their music makes me think of thee in heaven,
It is so much like thy sweet words.
The brooklet whispers, as it runs along,
Our first love-story with its liquid tongue.

Wake, Isa! wake!
And come back in this world again!
Oh! come down to me, for my soul's dear sake,
And cure me of this trying pain!
I would give all that earth to man can be,
If thou wert only in this world with me!

Day after day
I seek thee, but thou art not near!
I sit down on thy grave in the cold clay,
And listen for thy soul!—oh! dear!
And when some withered leaf falls from the tree,
I start as if thy soul had spoke to me!

And so it is,
And so it ever more must ever be
To him, who has been robbed of all the bliss
He ever knew, by loving thee!
For misery, in thine absence, is my wife!
What joy had been, hadst thou remained in life!

It is now even;
The birds have sung themselves to sleep;
And all the stars seem coming out of heaven,
As if to look upon me weep!—
Oh! let me not look up to thee in vain,
But come back to me in this world again!

Comfort In Sound

We fall right in and suffer the sins
Try to pull things round when the air starts to thin
We nurse regrets, restricted in our own belief
A new disease
We shake new hands, the victims of fate
We tread new ground misfortune conveys
You tear yourself apart
Wishing to be born again
A different man
(chorus)
Comfort in sound
Its all around
Ease back the strain
Come heal your pain
Comfort in sound
Its all around you now
Comfort in sound
We suffer love together as one
An empty heart with nowhere to turn
We find ourselves looking back another way
A brand new day
(chorus)
Comfort in sound
Its all around
Ease back the strain
Come heal your pain
Comfort in sound
Its all around you now - yeah
Solution gone, emotions ablaze
A life so strong just faded away
You find yourself searching for a quick release
A new belief
(chorus)
Comfort in sound
Its all around
Ease back the strain
Come heal your pain
Comfort in sound
Its all around you now
Comfort in sound

A Vision Of Christ

There fell on me a dream when days were gray,
And Hope had left me there to grope alone
Amid the silence of an unknown way
Vaulted with night and paved with barren stone,
Wherein such awful stillness held the air,
’Twere comfort but to breathe one’s own despair.
Till in my terror called I Him, who bore
The whole world’s sin upon His sinless soul,
Saying:—“O mighty Heart, whose Godhead wore,
E’en as a garment, all our pain and dole,
Touch Thou my soul with fire; and let there be
Some meed of Godhead even unto me!”

Then from the purple dark I saw arise,
Silent, the pale form of the Nazarene,
With deathless light of message in His eyes,
And that vast human pity in His mien,
Purer than purest depths of summer skies,
Not less unfathomed and not less serene.

“Brother,” He answered, “Wilt thou call to Me
As to a God and worship where I tread?
Cold were the splendour of My victory
If, dowered with Godhead, I for man had bled,
Who fell, a warrior battling in the van,
To prove to men what man can do for man.”

“For thro’ all Ages, on untrodden ways,
Heart-sick and weary in the desperate fight,
Earth shall bring forth the harvest of her days—
Her strong deliverers leading to the light.
And all who follow Truth and who have trod
Her bitter pathways are the Sons of God!”

Happiness Away From You

They Say,
That when you've loved,
When your heart longs for someone,
The only ease is seeing them less.
They Say,
That when Your heart was someones,
When your world was them,
The pain would grow when not with them.
They Say,
That when Your heart and soul loves someone,
Happiness lies with them.
For me,
And you.
That is not true.
My Happiness is away from you.
My Happiness is not with you.
My heart no longer seeks you.
My soul is better without you.

Looking back,
When my heart longed for you.
Looking back to when i thought the pain would ease by being with you.
I see,
That YOU were the one causing me pain.
MY heart was hurt by you.

My Happiness is away from you.

For now I am FREE.

Stay Young

One way out is all you're ever gonna get
From those who'll hand it out don't never let it upset you
Cos they'll put words into our mouths they're making us feel so ashamed

Making us take the blame
Making us cold in the night
Making us question my heart and soul
And I think that it's not quite right

Hey! stay young and invincible
Cos we know just what we are
And come what may we're unstoppable
Cos we know just what we are

Feed your head with all the things you need
When you're hungry
Stay in bed and sleep all day as long as it's Sunday
Cos they'll put words into your mouth they're making you feel so ashamed

His eyes kept searching

He was a beggar
Sitting in the busy street
On the side of the fountain
Looking at the passersby
With hope and expectation
Waiting for somebody
To have pity on him
Shower some money
People glanced at him
Kept moving ahead
Without giving a penny to him
In the heart he cursed them
But did not fail to smile
When somebody
Came near to him
His begging container
Remained empty
Had to listen to sarcastic remarks
From morning till evening
He had no money
Nothing to eat
Sipping water from a bottle
With a hungry stomach
Kept praying to god
To send one soul
Who shall make his day?
Not go in vain
There was no pain
No despair on his face
It was many of those days
When he had to sleep hungry
Without letting his hope die
His eyes kept searching
For somebody
Who would give
Something in cash or kind

The Beggar

Encouraged by thy word
Of promise to the poor;
Behold, a beggar, Lord,
Waits at thy mercy's door!
No hand, no heart, O Lord, but thine,
Can help or pity wants like mine.

The beggar's usual plea
Relief from men to gain,
If offered unto thee,
I know thou would'st disdain:
And pleas which move thy gracious ear,
Are such as men would scorn to hear.

I have no right to say
That though I now am poor,
Yet once there was a day
When I possessed more:
Thou know'st that from my very birth,
I've been the poorest wretch on earth.

Nor can I dare profess,
As beggars often do,
Though great is my distress,
My wants have been but few:
If thou shouldst leave my soul to starve,
It would be what I well deserve.

'Twere folly to pretend
I never begged before;
Or if thou now befriend,
I'll trouble thee no more:
Thou often hast relieved my pain,
And often I must come again.

Though crumbs are much too good
For such a dog as I;
No less than children's food
My soul can satisfy:
O do not frown and bid me go,
I must have all thou canst bestow.

Sonnet: Show Me …

Show me a hand that’s scarred by giving alms;
Show me an arm that helped others life-long;
Show me a face of greed that always calms;
Show me a voice tired by divine song.

Show me a foot that’s lame, walking with God;
Show me a tongue pale, speaking holy words;
Show me a soul that fears not God’s just rod;
Show me an eye blind that loves killing birds.

Show me a knee, pained by genuflection;
Show me a soul upright that fears its loss;
Show me body weak by meditation;
Show me a shoulder burdened by Christ’s cross.

Show me a heart gone small, loving brethren;
Show me a mind tired seeking Heaven!

Let This One Poem Be About Me

Let this one poem be just about me
Let this one poem engulf all my beauty
Let this one poem define my soul
Let this one poem consume me whole
My soul was earth bound
And my heart lay in a place that it would never be found
Let this poem be what entangles my mind
Let this poem be where people will find
They will find that missing link
And this poem it will make them think
They will wonder how this girl came
They will wonder how I avoided fame
I didn’t write these words to please
I wrote these words to tease
My heart it’s the type that beckons for ease
And my taste will not accept the flavor of peas
Let this poem describe me in most simplest of ways
Let this poem show how I get through these days
And I know people will read this and say…
This girl she knew where heart lay…
Let this poem eat me whole
Let me entire heart bleed its luscious love into a broken bowl
My soul wanted only to be free
And this poem only pushed it back into me
I never will lose any part of my soul
Because then this world will swallow my inner being whole
Let this poem be what I hate
Let this poem describe with who I would mate
Let this thoughts become my ways
Let this poem be where I stray
Let this poem show how I lie
Let this poem describe how I will die
Yes I am human I cannot avoid death
Yes I am human I chose not to use meth
These words they dance upon this page
These words they have no age
These verses have lost all meaning
Because I revealed my demeaning
Let this poem describe what I deem right
Let this poem that I will always fight
My age floats through these words
And people will never understand why I want to be heard
Let this poem be only about me
Let this poem be what sets me free
And I know some day people will look at this and say…
This girl, this girl she knew exactly where her heart lay…

A New Pilgrimage: Sonnet XXXVII

I will release my soul of argument.
He that would love must follow with shut eyes.
My reason of the years was discontent,
My treasure for all hope a vain surmise.
I will have done with wisdom's sophistries,
Her insolence of wit. What man shall say
He comfort takes in the short hour that dies,
Because he knew it mortal yesterday?
The tree of knowledge bears a bitter fruit.
This is that other tree, whose branches hold
Fair store of faith, peace, pity absolute,
And deeds of virtue for a world grown cold.
If by its fruits the tree of life be known,
Here is a truth undreamed of Solomon.

i need a real man to give me what i need
sweet attention love and tenderness
when it real it's unconditional

cause a man just ain't a man if he aint man enough
to love you when you right
love you when you wrong
love you when you weak
love you when you strong
(take you higher) when the world got you feelin low

he's thinkin of you first given comfort when
he's think that you hurt (that's done when you really love someone )
i'm telling ya'll i'm telling ya'll

King's Denial

A job so unsteady.
A kid just trying to make it on his own.
The bills pile up.
The desperate get even more desperate.
For some it seems as if their will be no relief.
The commander and chief speaks with a such a smile.
Is he in denial?
Or does he not care what happens right underneath feet?
It is his command.
It is his watch.
So he saysss
The man has no clue.
A puppet with a mouth piece.
Keep telling them what they want to here.
Ease their concern.
For you'll never be able to ease their suffering.
His intentions have been blurred.
People know and are in a stir.
They thought of him as their friend.
Now he turns his back.
Now he walks away.
A parade of nothing but failure and discontent.
Promises were made.
People lives were at stake.
Robbed of all their dignity.
The prisons are already full.
We can't afford any more.
Where oh where are gonna put all these people.
Like refugees they walk the street.
They are hungry.
They are just looking for something to eat.
In the soup kitchens their is not enough go around.
One dinner then on your way.
The doors then close.
I'm sorry we ran out, not today.
A burning sensation in the stomach.
The kind of hate that decimates the human soul.
Do you really blame them for losing their cool?

Bridge Over Troubled Waters

When You're Weary Feelin' Small
When Tears Are In Your Eyes I Will Dry Them All
I'm On Your Side Oh When Times Get Rough
And Friends Just Can't Be Found

Like A Bridge Over Troubled Waters
I Will Lay Me Down
Like A Bridge Over Troubled Waters
I Will Lay Me Down

When You're Down And Out When You're On The Street
When Evening Falls So Hard I Will Comfort You
I'll Take Your Part Oh When Darkness Comes
And Pain Is All Around

Like A Bridge Over Troubled Waters
I Will Lay Me Down
Like A Bridge Over Troubled Waters
I Will Lay Me Down

Sail On Children Sail On By
Your Time Has Come To Shine All Their Dreams Are On Their Way
See How They Shine Oh When You Need A Friend
I'm Sailing Right Behind

Like A Bridge Over Troubled Waters
I Will Ease Your Mind

I Will Ease Your Mind
I'll Ease Your Mind

Of Charity

A beggar died last night; his soul
Went up to God, and said:
'I come uncalled, forgive it, Lord;
I died for want of bread.'

Then answered him the Lord of heaven:
'Son, how can this thing be?
Are not my saints on earth? and they
Had surely succoured thee.'

'Thy saints, O Lord,' the beggar said,
'Live holy lives of prayer;
How should they know of such as we?
We perish unaware.

'They strive to save our wicked souls
And fit them for the sky;
Meanwhile, not having bread to eat,
(Forgive!) our bodies die.'

Then the Lord God spake out of heaven
In wrath and angry pain:
'O men, for whom my Son hath died,
My Son hath lived in vain!'

Because Today

I have to play my role
But my heart is full of dole
I don't know what to do
For things are right now blue
I wish I can explain
Why always I get pain
That fills my heart and soul
With grief and so much dole
For life cannot run smooth
And nothing can today soothe
The pain and agony's sleep
That is all running deep
Because today my life's pole
Is full of grief and dole.

The constipation

Pity is a kind of love
That you must experience;
Doing so, you cleanse your soul.

Being true is a kind of love
That you must experience;
Doing so, you please your soul.

To part with is a kind of love
That you must experience;
Doing so, you ease your soul.

To earn, to gain and to count
Are things done with creed and pride
To fill and stuff the soul with.

The soul is the bowel, which’s full
When you’re in the pinnacle.
The bowl must ease out its contents.

Unless you pity, be true
And gift in the path of life,
Your soul has to constipate.

I Would Not Cry

If you should die, I would not cry
Sadder words I never have thought
In my heart there is no feeling
So to God I pray for the healing
But sometimes, I think God has just forgot.
I cannot forget the sins that you have done to me
While you were my soul and also my wife
I can still feel all of your using
Along with your with your cheating and abusing
And how you destroyed my soul and my life.
We were once one, as we were joined by God
But you weren't happy with that type of living,
So then again you started telling your lies
So you could get the pity for you to survive
And once again because of you I am grieving

If you were here, I would not shed a tear,
As I have already shed them all for you
I would not ever look upon your face
As now all I’d see is shame and disgrace
The word lady and woman you never knew.
I thought you were a loyal and trustworthy lass
And a great mother that was well worth knowing
Now you are not teaching your daughters well
Will they too follow you example and strait to hell
As without change that is where you three are going.
That journey you take you will not go alone
And that happens to be a matter of fact
Along yourself and your girls you also will take
All the sinners and the ones God will forsake
And also the men that kept you upon your back.

If you were dead, I would lay down my head
And sleep in a nice and gentle sleep
As all my nightmare's would be gone
And once again my soul would be just one
And for you, I would never ever weep.
I would wear a smile, upon my face
And again happy thoughts in my my mind and brain
And I would not ever think of you any more
I would forget the words slut, tramp and whore
As God would of cleanse me, with his falling rain.
And that day when your day will finally come
In front of God you will stand alone
He will tell you that you had died
And for your soul no one had cried
And sadly heaven, will never be your home.

I would of mourned, when you were born
If only I knew the type of life that you would live,
With all of your cheating and your lying
Letting your soul starve, and allow its dying
You stole and took, and never would even give.
They say we cannot change who we are
And we will always go back to where we came,
As a cheater, you will also be a cheat
In this life, you will be a liar and full of deceit
You were born in agony and now live in its pain.
The life you have led, has been a hard life on you
You change your looks so from all you can hide
But you are known by your ways if not your name
As everyone knows their scars and remember their pain
And you are my pain, so for you never will I cry.
