The Black Unicorn
The black Unicorn gallops towards me,
it's eyes are flaming orbs of hate,
it's hooves strike the ground as sparks fly out,
one pass by me,
it's breath is a stench of maggots,
it's horn glows bright red,
a second pass by me,
I stand my ground,
it shrieks are like a thousand lost souls,
as it turns it's gaze back upon me,
And then gallops straight towards me with head down,
I leap away just in time as it fads away into the mist.

Your Light Farewell
You bid unwilling farewell so light,
Your smiles rushes this golden day;
Memory gallops in, in every sight.
You painted the clouds in whitish bright
as you faded through a silvery ray;
You bid unwilling farewell so light.
Soon winds will whisper in ivory night,
gentle rains will echo your laughter in a way
memory gallops in, in every sight.
Red must the roses be, but they turned white
on that day you choose in our hearts to stay;
You bid unwilling farewell so light.
You dwell here where the dawn takes its flight,
in the morning where sunrise burns to play
and - memory gallops in, in every sight.
The world fancied but then turns right;
The day you painted rainbows and smiled away
you bid unwilling farewell so light;
Then... (memory gallops in, in every sight)

Colorful t-shirts outside on a lighted display
it will attract customers to come my way.
On Easter Sunday while Krendolls walk by
one particular Character caught my eye.
It was Tom Hanks who did decide
to buy one UniCandle unicorn t-shirts
with a Fantastic price that's out of Sight-
-For only the price of $9.95!
Tom handed me a donation along with a smile.

"UniCandle unicorn is Cute and Unique

flaming horn. UniCandle unicorn knew Mr. Big Toe lives in Lake Worth town,
so he brought him a sparkly birthday crown.
Mr. Big Toe welcomed UniCandle unicorn then Mr. Big Toe jumped on his saddled back,
UniCandle's wings opened up to fly to Pelican Restaurant really fast.
UniCandle unicorn had a coupon that expired soon,
UniCandle unicorn joined Dave's email club yesterday at noon.
UniCandle unicorn bought Mr. Big Toe a special birthday treat,
a delicious chocolate coconut banana which is really sweet!
Now UniCandle unicorn had to fly back to Krendoll again,

The Arabian Beauty
It gallops across the sunny slopes,
The grass so green on this little hill,
As it plunges into a field of flowers below,
The wind blows strong,
As if to say, ' Come my friend, frolic all day! '
It rears it's head, and tosses it mane,
It's muscles rippling like the surface of a lake,
This horse is a hard one to tame.
It's speed is like lightning flashing across a
midnight sky,
It's eyes are bright and shimmer like stars,
It's coat glimmers on the moonlit beaches,
And shines on a cloudless day.
It's hooves are as black as tar
And carries this large horse a long way.
It's fearless heart is as big as the moon,
This horse is the
Arabian Beauty.

The Unicorn
As I wandered through the woods one night,
I stumbled upon a most magnificent sight.
It was an hour or so, before the break of dawn,
That, in a moonlit clearing, I spied a Unicorn.
Hidden behind a tree, I stood and stared;
To reveal myself to him, I did not dare.
In the grassy clearing, he stood and grazed,
As I stood there watching him, in a daze.
Of the Unicorn’s beauty, I was in total awe;
He was the most majestic creature I ever saw.
His coat was as white as freshly fallen snow,
And, it had to it, a pearlescent, luminous glow.
His flickering ears were alerted by every sound;
At the tiniest whisper, his head turned around.
His golden, spiral horn stood at least a foot long;
Heaven help the creature who does him wrong!
The moon shone in his large, dark, reflective eyes.
Although he seemed so gentle, he seemed so wise.
His long, soft, shiny mane was just like ‘angel hair’;
Curled around his neck and shoulders, it flowed there.
His hooves, like his horn, were of burnished gold.
He really was the most beautiful sight to behold.
Suddenly, he galloped off into the surrounding mist.
Now, having seen a Unicorn, I know that they do exist.

Customers walk by,

Then he left wearing the shirt that glows,

The Old Homestead
Up and down the old homestead
The naked rider gallops through his head
And although the moon isnt full
He still feels the pull.
Out on the floor where the cowboys dance
Approaching slowly at a glance
Here comes the shadow of his stance
The reins are fallin from his hands.
Why do you ride that crazy horse?
Inquires the shadow with little remorse
Just then a priest comes down the stairs
With a sack of dreams and old nightmares.
Who are you, the rider says
You dress in black but you talk like a fed
You spout ideas from books that you read
Dont you care about this guys head?
Just then the sound of hoofbeats was heard
And the sky was darkened by a prehistoric bird
Who flew between the unfulfilled moon
And the naked rider, to a telephone booth.
Well call the moon and see whats up
Ive got some change in this little tin cup
Well say that the shadow is growin dim
And we need some light to get back to him
Just one call should do it all
Ill carve this number on the wall
With my beak.
Flying feathers were all around
The air was filled with a ringing sound.
Two more birds, the second and the third
Came down from the sky to deliver the word.
Where have you been, they said to the first
Get back to the clouds, were dying of thirst
Theres not enough time to make that call
Lets ditch this rider, shadow and all.
The sky was filled with the beautiful birds
Still on the ground some crying was heard
With his dime in his hand and his hand on the dial
His ears were sweating as he forced a smile.
Hoofbeats beating across the range
He rode through the night with his cup of change
Tired and beaten he fell into slumber
But up in the sky they still had his number.
Up and down the old homestead
The naked rider gallops through his head
And although the moon isnt full
He still feels the pull,
Still feels the pull.

The Sport Of Kings
I hate the horse races
Except when I'm winning
But it's always a bad sign when
Your horse starts strong and leads
The pack from the gate
He almost always falls behind by the time
He reaches the last straight-away
And the horse that started last
Gallops thru the group like his
Hooves are on fire
While his jockey whips his ass
All the way to the finish line
She left her overnight bag at my place
Where we drank a bit and horsed around
Before we left to meet up with her friends
I paced myself through the liquor cabinet
To be sure I’d be ready for an early morning romp
When we got back home
She had been talking all night to this
Thick-necked dude who got there late
With broader shoulders stronger haunches and a shinier mane
When one of her pals discreetly handed off a rubber like
They had just made a cocaine deal
I rolled my eyes and slugged
What was left in my glass
The last thing I remember that night before I blacked out:
I saw her leave with him
And slap his ass on their way
Out the door
She called me from his place the next afternoon
Audibly hungover and slightly out of breath
Her overnight bag still sat at the foot of my bed
She said she hoped I wasn’t mad
And I honestly wasn’t
We both knew this horse wouldn’t
Win, place or show

I Hate that I love you (remix)
I hate the way you can look at me
and I get lost in your gaze.
I hate the way you can see past
my looks and see who I really am.
I hate the way you can make me laugh
even when I don't want to smile.
I hate the way you know just what to say
to get me to smile again.
I hate it when you smile and
I get lost in your gaze.
I hate it when I look into your eyes
and I get lost in a daze.
I hate it when you know
what I am about to say.
I hate the way you can make me happy
with one little stare.
I hate the feeling that I get when
you are not there.
I hate it when you make me laugh but,
even more when you make me cry.
I hate the fact that I love you so much
and that one day you might hurt me.
I hate it when you don't call
when you say you will.
I hate it when you lie even
when you know I already know.
I hate it when you think it is ok
to look at me then look away.
I hate it when you see straight
through my tough girl act.
I hate it when you stick up for me.
I hate it when you don't talk to me.
But really what I hate most of all
is the fact that I love you.

Cup Of Wonder
May I make my fond excuses
For the lateness of the hour,
But we accept your invitation, and we bring you beltanes flower.
For the may day is the great day, sung along the old straight track.
And those who ancient lines did lay
Will heed the song that calls them back.
Pass the word and pass the lady, pass the plate to all who hunger.
Pass the wit of ancient wisdom, pass the cup of crimson wonder.
Ask the green man where he comes from, ask the cup that fills with red.
Ask the old grey standing stones that show the sun its way to bed.
Question all as to their ways,
And learn the secrets that they hold.
Walk the lines of natures palm
Crossed with silver and with gold.
Pass the cup and pass the lady, pass the plate to all who hunger.
Pass the wit of ancient wisdom, pass the cup of crimson wonder.
Join in black decembers sadness,
Lie in augusts welcome corn.
Stir the cup thats ever-filling
With the blood of all thats born.
But the may day is the great day, sung along the old straight track.
And those who ancient lines did lay
Will heed this song that calls them back.
Pass the word and pass the lady, pass the plate to all who hunger.
Pass the wit of ancient wisdom, pass the cup of crimson wonder.

I Won't Back Down
Tom Petty) (Pensacola, Florida, 3/9/94)
No, I won't back down (2x)
You can stand me up at the gates of Hell, but I won't back down
I will stand my ground, won't be turned around
I will keep my world from draggin' me down, I won't back down
No, I won't back down
Hey, baby, there ain't no easy way out
Hey, I will stand my ground
No, I won't back down
Oh, I know what' sright, I got just one life
I wil keep this world from pushin' me around, I'l lstand my ground
No, I won't back down
Hey, baby, there ain't no easy way out }
Hey, I will stand my ground } (2x)
And I won't back down }
And I won't back down, no I won't back down

A Cup Of Wine
lips that touch, the ground of a cup
that tastes that nods on
a wonder that was never
there before
like a solitude, of desires
takes the bitter
or the better
that ends, with a look that
sees no one
in the closeness of the
dawn, the hop that gallops
makes one refresh
perhaps a little pop
of what is life
in a burden, have a little
puff

The Evocation
Old fool who I knew so well
Damn your soul now straight to hell
Soiled are your hands from the blood you’ve spilled
Sacrificed your soul for the innocents you’ve killed
The love you’ve sought not from any human being
Lives ran through your fingers for the pain not seeing
Gave the Devil his well deserved due
In his clutches now for he’s got you
The breath of life no more can be tasted
To the bowels of purgatory your life you’ve wasted
Dark was your heart fill with hate
To find the truth for you it’s far to late
Lessons now you’ve never learned
Love of the world you’ve always spurned
For humanity you had no concern
Forever in perdition your soul will burn
Sacrificed to a sacred cow
Brimstone and fire burns you now
On tranquil seas your spirit won’t float
For the prayers you gave was to an unholy goat
Sorrows we have not on your demise
Tears won’t fall for fruitless exercise
Legions possessed you and fill you from within
Coursed souls absorbed by eternal sin
You deserve everything you’ve gotten
For deep within you are truly rotten
Maggots now devour you whole
Rotting flesh festers in the ground cold
You fiend, rest you not in peace demon seed
Disagreeable scoundrel lost in your own greed
For all the lives you’ve treated cruel
The desolate one fans the flames with fuel
For you never treated me well
So goodbye and strike the church bell
To the dark side your spirit will dwell
No more to breath the stench of your foul smell
Mourning for you would be quite contrary
We will sing songs, dance, and be truly merry
We will drink spirits and spill none on your grave tonight
From now on all in the world will be right
Sorry for you for you won’t be there
No longer about you we have to care
All we have left are bad words about you to cuss
Gone is the fouled monster that once loomed over us

Sonnet XIV
OH! crystal eyes, in which my image lay
While I was near, as in a fountain's wave;
Let it not in like manner pass away
When I am gone; for I am Love's true slave,
And in my eyes thine image dwells enshrined,
Like one who dazzled hath beheld the sun,
So that to other beauty I am blind,
And scarce distinguish what I gaze upon:
Let it be thus with thee! By all our vows,--
By the true token-ring upon thy hand,--
Let such remembrance as my worth allows
Between thee and each bright temptation stand,--
That I, in those clear orbs, on my return,
As in the wave's green depth, my shadow may discern.

Magic & Loss - The Summation
When you pass through the fire, you pass through humble
You pass through a maze of self doubt
When you pass through humble, the lights can blind you
Some people never figure that out
You pass through arrogance, you pass through hurt
You pass through an ever present past
And its best not to wait for luck to save you
Pass through the fire to the light
Pass through the fire to the light
Pass through the fire to the light
Its best not to wait for luck to save you
Pass through the fire to the light
As you pass through the fire, your right hand waving
There are things you have to throw out
That caustic dread inside your head
Will never help you out
You have to be very strong, cause youll start from zero
Over and over again
And as the smoke clears theres an all consuming fire
Lying straight ahead
Lying straight ahead
Lying straight ahead
As the smoke clears theres an all consuming fire
Lying straight ahead
They say no one person can do it all
But you want to in your head
But you cant be shakespeare and you cant be joyce
So what is left instead
Youre stuck with yourself and a rage that can hurt you
You have to start at the beginning again
And just this moment this wonderful fire
Started up again
When you pass through humble, when you pass through sickly
When you pass through Im better than you all
When you pass through anger and self deprecation
And have the strength to acknowledge it all
When the past makes you laugh and you can savor the magic
That let you survive your own war
You find that that fire is passion
And theres a door up ahead not a wall
As you pass through fire as you pass through fire
Trying to remember its name
When you pass through fire licking at your lips
You cannot remain the same
And if the buildings burning move towards that door
But dont put the flames out
Theres a bit of magic in everything
And then some loss to even things out
Some loss to even things out
Some loss to even things out
Theres a bit of magic in everything
And then some loss to even things out
