Doar a mea e
iubire.
Vina e a mea.

As vrea sa iti mai spun toate aceste lucruri,
dar o sa incerc sa nu o fac
sa nu fiu si mai ridicol in ochii tai (verzi) .

Atunci si Acum
Atunci cand erai departe, cand intre noi doi era un ocean, si 7000 de kilometri
cand tu erai in trecut, iar eu in viitor
Atunci nu-ti pasa, insa acum vezi numai defecte

in lipsa ta,

si nici eu, si orice ar crede lumea despre mine,
orice ai crede tu despre mine
nu as fi ales alt pat, in care sa dorm
daca altcineva in afara de tine s-ar afla in el.

in locul printului,

a venit prea tarziu in viata ta.
In mintea mea esti doar o biata eroina, o corabie ce paraseste grabita

Avid dupa admiratia ta pierduta, le-am pus aici,
in acest loc unde toti vorbesc o alta limba.
in aceasta limba.
Nu-ti fie teama, sa-mi spui, inca sunt indragostit
ce le lasa picioarele tale in aceasta lume din mintea mea.
(...)
Ar trebui poate, sa fiu realist, nu-mi face bine sa fiu ridicol, sa visez, sa sper,
dar viata mea are o singura eroina.

Hard Greu Hard..English and Romanian version
Hard..
When some people free can run
but others can't, strongly tied
from the inside.
Hard..
When some laugh and joy
Others have only one tear
As lonely toy
polka dancing
from eye to eye..
Hard..
When strangers, others, they
become part of us, we only love
because we can not hate
I tried to fit, I did !
But it was not an easy way
Hard..
Sweet dear Romania
of you my soul is full
in pain, I tightly
gather my both hands
Hard not to cry
longing for you!
............................................. ......
Romanian version
Greu..
Cand liber fug unii
insa, legati pe dinauntru
Incremeniti stau altii..
Greu..
Cand rad si se distreaza
Unii dar altii
In ochi au numai
o singuratica lacrima
Ce polka (ori invartita) danseaza..
Greu..
Cand straini, altii, ei!
Devin parte din noi
Pot numai sa iubesc
A ura nu stiu
Ma integrez dar, nu e usor..
O dulce draga Romanie
Sufletul mi-e plin de tine
Ce greu..in durere
mainile-mi frang
de dor
sa nu-ti plang.

Unyielding
When I called you in your garden
Mango blooms were rich in fragrance -
Why did you remain so distant,
Keep your doors so tightly fastened?
Blossoms grew to ripe fruit-clusters -
Your rejected my cuppded handfuls,
Closed your eyes to perfectness.
In the fierce harsh storms of Baisakh,
Golden ripened fruit fell tumbling.
'Dust, I said, 'defiles such offerings:
Let your hands be heaven to them.'
Still you showed no friendliness.
Lampless were your doors at evening,
Pitch-black as I played my vina.
How the starlight twanged my heartstrings!
How I set my vina dancing!
You showed no responsiveness.
Sad birds twittered sleeplessly,
Calling, calling lost companions.
Gone the right time for our union -
Low the moon while still you brooded,
Sunk in lonely pensiveness.
Who can understand another!
Heart cannot restrain its passion.
I had hoped that some remaining
Tear-soaked memories would sway you,
Stir your feet to lightsomeness.
Moon fell at the feet of morning,
Loosened from the night's fading necklace.
While you slept, O did my Vina
Lull you with its heartache? Did you
Dream at least of happiness?

să-mi rămâi de-a pururi, asta îți doresc.
Munții tăi, Carpații, să-ți poarte drapelul,
Dunărea și Marea să te ocrotească,
Stele lucitoare să îți umple cerul,
Dragostea divină să te copleșească.
Ce-ți doresc eu ție dulce Românie?
Cu tine în suflet vreau să înfloresc
ca și macii roșii pe 'ntinsa-ți câmpie,
Dulce Românie, asta îți doresc,
Dulce Românie, veșnic te iubesc.

Brave Heart
One touch,
One love,
One peace;
To the women in labout and to the men at war!
But the brave heart is now needed on thses issues.
Brave hearted men and women,
One love, one peace, and one touch! !
And like Vina's Dream in the land of her muse,
For this dream is all about her lover.

Vodo ja sam samo ruka
Tek dodir što te vječnošću tka
Dodir od pjene bez riječi i zvuka
I plima što ti tajnu zna
Vodo uvijek te čekam kraj stijenja
I usta su mi ogrezla u soli
Tu solim ranu sopstvenog htijenja
Da kap me tvoja više ne boli
Da riječ bude nevina kao tvoja pjena
Da pije tvoja vina i bude tvoja sjena

Steelhead
The sky was cold December blue with great tumbling clouds,
and the little river
Ran full but clear. A bare-legged girl
in a red jersey was wading
in it, holding a five-tined
Hay-fork at her head's height; suddenly she darted it down like
a heron's beak and panting hard
Leaned on the shaft, looking down passionately, her gipsy-lean
face, then stooped and dipping
One arm to the little breasts she drew up her catch, great hammered-
silver steelhead with the tines through it
And the fingers of her left hand hooked in its
gills, her slender body
Rocked with its writhing. She took it to the near bank
And was dropping it behind a log when someone said
Quietly 'I guess I've got you, Vina.' Who gasped and looked up
At a young horseman half hidden in the willow bushes,
She'd been too intent to notice him, and said 'My God,
I thought it was the game-warden.' 'Worse,' he said smiling.
'This river's ours.
You can't get near it without crossing our fences.
Besides that you mustn't spear 'em, and . . . three, four, you
little bitch,
That's the fifth fish.' She answered with her gipsy face, 'Take
half o' them, honey. I loved the fun.'
He looked up and down her taper legs, red with cold, and said
fiercely, 'Your fun.
To kill them and leave them rotting.' 'Honey, let me have one
o' them,' she answered,
'You take the rest.' He shook his blond head. 'You'll have to pay
a terrible fine.' She answered laughing,
'Don't worry: you wouldn't tell on me.' He dismounted and
tied the bridle to a bough, saying 'Nobody would.
I know a lovely place deep in the willows, full of warm grass,
safe as a house,
Where you can pay it.' Her body seemed to grow narrower
suddenly, both hands at her throat, and the cold thighs
Pressed close together while she stared at his face, it was beautiful,
long heavy-lidded eyes like a girl's,
'I can't do that, honey . . . I,' she said shivering, 'your wife
would kill me.' He hardened his eyes and said
'Let that alone.' 'Oh,' she answered; the little red hands came
down from her breast and faintly
Reached toward him, her head lifting, he saw the artery on the
lit side of her throat flutter like a bird
And said 'You'll be sick with cold, Vina,' flung off his coat
And folded her in it with his warmth in it and carried her
To that island in the willows.
He warmed her bruised feet in
his hands;
She paid her fine for spearing fish, and another
For taking more than the legal limit, and would willingly
Have paid a third for trespassing; he sighed and said,
'You'll owe me that. I'm afraid somebody might come looking
for me,
Or my colt break his bridle.' She moaned like a dove, 'Oh Oh
Oh Oh,
You are beautiful, Hugh.' They returned to the stream-bank.
There,
While Vina put on her shoes-they were like a small boy's, all
stubbed and shapeless young Flodden strung the five fish
On a willow rod through the red gills and slung them
To his saddle-horn. He led the horse and walked with Vina,
going part way home with her.
Toward the canyon sea-mouth
The water spread wide and shoal, fingering through many channels
down a broad flood-bed, and a mob of sea-gulls
Screamed at each other. Vina said, 'That's a horrible thing.'
'What?' 'What the birds do. They're worse than I am.'
When Flodden returned alone he rode down and watched them.
He saw that one of the thousand steelhead
Which irresistible nature herded up stream to the spawning-gravel
in the mountain, the river headwaters,
Had wandered into a shallow finger of the current, and was
forced over on his flank, sculling uneasily
In three inches of water: instantly a gaunt herring-gull hovered
and dropped, to gouge the exposed
Eye with her beak; the great fish writhing, flopping over in his
anguish, another gull's beak
Took the other eye. Their prey was then at their mercy, writhing
blind, soon stranded, and the screaming mob
Covered him.
Young Flodden rode into them and drove them
up; he found the torn steelhead
Still slowly and ceremoniously striking the sand with his tail and
a bloody eye-socket, under the
Pavilion of wings. They cast a cold shadow on the air, a fleeting
sense of fortune's iniquities: why should
Hugh Flodden be young and happy, mounted on a good horse,
And have had another girl besides his dear wife, while others
have to endure blindness and death,
Pain and disease, misery, old age, God knows what worse?

Marlena
Far off in the sea is Marlena,
A land of shades and streams,
A land of many delights,
Dark and bold, thy shores, Marlena;
But green, and timorous, thy soft knolls,
Crouching behind the woodlands.
All shady thy hills; all gleaming thy springs,
Like eyes in the earth looking at you.
How charming thy haunts, Marlena!--
Oh, the waters that flow through Onimoo;
Oh, the leaves that rustle through Ponoo:
Oh, the roses that blossom in Tarma.
Come, and see the valley of Vina:
How sweet, how sweet, the Isles from Hina:
'Tis aye afternoon of the full, full moon,
And ever the season of fruit,
And ever the hour of flowers,
And never the time of rains and gales,
All in and about Marlena.
Soft sigh the boughs in the stilly air,
Soft lap the beach the billows there;
And in the woods or by the streams,
You needs must nod in the Land of Dreams.

I Don't Care Anymore
Well you can tell ev'ryone I'm a down disgrace
So drag my name all over the place.
I don't care anymore. (I don't care)
You can tell ev'rybody 'bout the state I'm in
You won't catch me crying 'cos I just can't win.
I don't care anymore I don't care anymore
I don't care what you say
I don't play the same games you play.
'Cos I've been talking to the people that you call your friends
And it seems to me there's a means to and end.
They don't care anymore. (they don't care)
And as for me I can sit here and bide my time
I got nothing to lose if I speak my mind.
I don't care anymore I don't care no more
I don't care what you say
We never played by the same rules anyway.
I won't be there anymore
Get out of my way
Let me by
I got better things to do with my time
I don't care anymore I don't care anymore
I don't care anymore I don't care anymore
Well, I don't care now what you say (I don't care what you say)
'Cos ev'ry day (everyday)
I'm feeling fine with myself (I'm feeling fine with myself)
And I don't care now what you say (I don't care what you say)
Hey I'll do alright by myself (I'll be alright by myself)
I don't care (I don't care) anymore (anymore)
I don't care (I don't care) anymore (anymore)
I don't care (I don't care) anymore (anymore)
I don't care anymore
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!

Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
What what?
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
What what?
'Cos I remember all the times I tried so hard
And you laughed in my face 'cos ya held all the cards.
I don't care anymore.
And I really ain't bothered what you think of me
'Cos all I want of you is just a let me be.
I don't care anymore
Did you hear? I don't care no more
I don't care what you say
I never did believe you much anyway.
We won't be there any more
So get out of our way.
Let us by

I know I shouldn't do this
But I can't help it
I'm a fiend
Lotion and magazines is what I'm left wit
I step witout my pride
To the toilet
And laced my palm wit honey and almond
But suddenly the phone rings
And it's K.B.
Pussy just came through
Some for him and some for me

Her Report
she is now in Malaybalay,45 kilometers from Valencia
where they are taking dinner
with junjun's girlfriend
and soon after the dinner, she will take the car with cousin
and niece back to La Vina, where they will spend the night
she has more news but she will not bring it tonight
it is more private
it is not about junjun's sweet young girl, still studying in the university
and to cope up with the hard times, she sells cosmetic products
for those who are vain
and taking other means of livelihood to live and appear like decent
it is cold, a place higher than the sea levels of two cities
the trees abound, it is green grass all over the place, and the skies
have stars, and the moon is brighter as she looks over the window
to see the rolling hills and the horizon of flashing lights
the glitter of a far city, the hovering of thoughts like birds crowding
on a tree at night, like the whispers of rain from a distant mountain
we are apart, we decided to create some spaces, we must breathe
and i know, what she wants to tell me from Malaybalay, though she
says, she cannot tell it now, the way she phrases her lines i know
she misses me she loves me she wants to be back home the soonest
and i am waiting.
