Gluttony

Eating too much with eager,
Takes out some of other pleasure.
Overeating if you perpetuate,
Fight to reduce gained weight.
Instead of having lot of glory,
Amass in body fat and calories.
Laziness will delay your task,
And invite sickness more fast.

Excessiveness of consumption
Deprives things to else one.

At one point I had to shove as much food in my body as possible to pack on calories. My trainer wanted me to do six meals a day and not go two hours without eating. If I would cheat on eating one day, I could tell - I'd drop a few pounds.

Still Beautiful

I been told by many that I have gained a few pounds
And that I look a lot better if I lost a little weight.
Well, yesterday I got out the shower and stared at
my body in all its’ natural glory.
I looked at myself from head to toe,
front to back and even sideways.
Yeah, I might have gained a few pounds
But that is alright because from my point view
I'm still beautiful.

After Having One Good Cry

Oh dear, I have gained such a lot of weight,
now to learn how to make my peace with it,
then start shedding as much as possible

Won’t confess to Rudi how much it bothers
me, he’ll say I’m vain – and he’ll be right, of
course, I only need to look good for him and

Myself, nobody else - I hate my new picture,
I’ll start eating right and focus on being content
with life, apparently eating is an emotional crutch

To create a feeling of well-being artificially, I know
the postponement of the wedding and everything
that happened caused a great upset

But now’s the time to become emotionally mature
and make some new year’s resolutions, I will stop
feeling sorry for myself and seeking comfort

In scrumptious food, my wedding dress is so tight,
the dress-maker was quite angry, her son remarked
upon my widening girth and I felt so ashamed

Chin high, eyes bright, wide smile, I’ll conquer
the dragon of overeating as soon as possible-
right after having one good cry…

Wild Things Run Fast

He came
She smiled
She thought she had him tamed
But he was just as wild
Eating from her hand at last
Wild things run fast
In the dark
He could see
The trap that was lying in her
Sweet company
Eating from her hand at last
Wild things run fast
Winter beat the pines about
He heard the heater
Cutting in and out
While she dreamed away . . .
In the night
It snowed
Fast tracks in the powder white
Leading out to the road
Winding from her tender grasp
Wild things run fast
Wild things run fast
Wild things run fast
What makes you run?
Wild thing
I thought you loved me

The actual getting into the gym and working out process was easier, but the eating was harder. I had to eat every two hours. At one point, my trainer said, 'Put anything in your mouth. Go to McDonald's, get the biggest shake possible. I just need to get calories in you.' Because my body fat at the time was only, like, 7.5%.

Eating the hamburger alone

i tried eating a big
McDonald hamburger once
since i was too hungry then
after a hard day's work
and as i was bent on saving
lots of money for myself
i did not invite anybody
to eat with me
that will be an unnecessary expense
treating another lazy friend
or relative

i had my order laid on my table
took my big bite
sipped my ice cold Nestea
feasted my eyes on the garden
beyond the glass windows
but then
the hamburger tasted sour
in my throat down to my tummy
and despite its shorter consumption
i was still hungry
in fact hungrier than before
my head was empty
and my body floated
among the other bodies
inside the cold mall...

Restaurant Eating

Will the restaurants argue on this issue?
Can the fork and knife be argued with the teeth?
A moment only too soon is measured
To eat the correct fill.
You are meticulous in eating with us,
And the fried rice has begged our consumption
So that taste has completed its task
As we bear our stomachs with wreaking food.

Freak On A Leach

Something takes a part of me.
Something lost and never seen.
Everytime I start to believe,
Something's raped and taken from me... from me.
Life's got to always be messing with me. (You wanna see the light)
Can't
they chill and let me be free? (So do I)
Can't I take away all this pain. (You wanna see the light)
I try to every night, all in vain... in vain.
Sometimes I cannot take this place.
Sometimes it's my life I can't taste.
Sometimes I cannot feel my face.
You'll never see fall from grace
Something takes a part of me.
You and I were meant to be.
I cheat, but for me to lie
Something takes a part of me.
Feeling like a freak on a leash. (You wanna see the light)
Feeling like I have no release. (So do I)
How many times have I felt diseased? (You wanna see the light)
Nothing in my life is free... is free
So...fight! something on the...
Fight...some things they fight
So...something on the...
Fight...some things they fight
Fight...something of the
No...some things they fight
Fight...something of the...
Fight...some things they fight
Part of me...

Ruminating the past

I gained my parents at my birth.
I gained my brothers and sisters
And then my kids and their kids
Every gain to me was a pleasure.
Then I grieve over the loss of them,
One by one, or at leaving them.
I weep and weep, profoundly weep
Over their death or in their sick beds.
What we lose is what we had gained.
The gained are destined to be lost
Or from them we shall be lost.
I recall the good they have done.
I repent the wrongs done to them.
Rumination of pleasure and regrets
Keep me at the old age engaged.

Medicate

I've been lying awake at night
I've been hoping that I'm alright
I've been winding myself too tight
Wondering if I will sleep tonight
Never thought things would get like this
Always hoping that they'd work out
Now I seem to be filled with doubt
I cannot stop this ride
I'm growing cold inside
I shouldn't let it slide
Will sickness be mind
This should not be my weight to bear
Go on acting like I don't care
Stop this high-I wouldn't dare
I have earned and deserve my share
Things like this happen every day
While I'm in there I feel okay
But you say I should get away
Let me got for just one more day
[Chorus x2]
I've got to medicate myself,
I'm not concerned about my health
It covers up what I've been dealt, it seems the only way
I've got to medicate myself, its been the only thing that helped
Must cover up what I have felt, it seems the only way
[Chorus x2]
Sickness is mine, sickness is mine, sickness is mine

Some Things Others Do

YOU,
May tolerate your laziness.
But me?
I find it offends.

Perhaps,
I know what it takes to be disciplined.
And those accepting mediocrity with ease...
Is like hearing the screeching,
With chalk on a blackboard...
Intentionally begin.

YOU,
May tolerate your laziness.
But me?
I find it offends.

And I know I represent,
An older generation now!
However...
Some things others do,
I will not let go unmentioned.
It is wonderful to see someone attempting their best.
And that effort seems to grab my attention!

The American birds; but the dialect is not English

While I was sitting on the toilet commode in the morning (The senile-type Armenian doctor diagnosed my sickness as ' Bulimia Nervosa' an eating disorder in which overeating alternates with self induced vomiting, dieting or purging.)
What a lovely language of the birds I heard from the top of the Maple tree next-door?
It's very hard to understand their dialogue but some words and the accent were very familiar with a rhyme to me.
'Jack & Jill went up the hill and Gay marriages with a thrill,
Hillary, Obama, John and Bush
Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea and Iraq.'
And I guessed they talked something seriously of the coming fair Election?

Hard To Swallow

We eat to live
We eat to grow
We eat to endulge ourselves,
In the greatness of food

We eat to provide comfort
We eat to be accepted
We eat as it is part,
Of our lives

Food comes in all different forms,
Shapes and sizes
It can be a bean as small as a nail
Or a christmas turkey the size of a horse

Food is a necessity
Food is a way of life
Food is enjoyed
Food is loved
But for some,
Food is despised

Eating brings pain
Eating brings weight
Eating brings illness
Eating brings hate

Eating means endless pain
A pain that wont stop,
Until the food inside,
Is forced out

Eating means weight gain and hurt
So,
It's best not to eat at all
The aching pain of hunger drifts away,
With several ibuprofein.

The battle with food is a constant struggle
To overcome the eating disorder
To take one bite,
And Swallow!

Mind Your Calories!

Avoid extra calories;
Take no chance to turn obese;
Burn more calories in you;
Be active and joyful too.

Use the stairs and not the lift;
Exercise well, stay most fit;
Walk for health, some miles at dawn;
To do things the hard way- Learn.

Do your daily chores yourself;
Keep empty your fridge, food-shelf;
Enter house by the back-door;
Sit for less hours, walk some more.

Walk uphill whenev’r you can;
Eat less; work more for health, man;
Use the ramp, avoid plain floor;
Lazy mind makes life a bore.

Fast-foods, never take at all;
Eat lesser starch, consume dhal;
Drink more water if you can;
Work hard and stay healthy, man.

Extra food can poison you;
Fat lessens your life-span too;
Count your calories you take;
Life is worth-while, if you make!

Maximum Consumption

Ill have some clam chowder, followed by beef steak on rye
Pumpkin pie, whipped cream and coffee,
I wanna green salad on the side,
Dont forget the french fries,
Pizza pie, garlic and anchovie.
I keep burning up calories as fast as I keep putting them down,
Eat food, put it in my mouth,
Chew it up, swallow it down,
Ill have two eggs, over light, home made apple pie
Cole slaw as a side order.
I gotta stay fit, stay alive, eat food to sustain a non-stop high-grade performer.
The pace is continual, sure keeps running me down
Dont you know that you gotta eat food,
Dont you know that you gotta refuel.
Im a maximum consumption, super-grade performer.
High powered machine,
Go steady on my clutch, go easy on the hills
And youll get a lot of mileage out of me.
Im so easy to drive, and Im an excellent ride,
Excessive living sure keeps running me down
Youve got to learn to use the maximum juice
Thats how you get the maximum use.
Life keeps using me, keeps on abusing me, mentally and physically.
I gotta stay fit, stay alive, need fuel inside, eat food to survive
Maximum consumption sure keeps running me down
Dont you know that you gotta eat food
Dont you know that its good for you.
Im a maximum consumption,
Non-stop machine
Total automation perpetual motion.

What One Creates

Not one to inspect,
Over another's collection.
To brush quickly through...
With reviews or suggestions.

I realize the pain it takes...
To select what will be saved,
By refurbishing what is accepted...
And tossing away,
What doesn't make the grade.

I can't be the critic,
To make that choice.
Although I feel forced,
For an opinion to voice!

I much rather watch,
Portraits hung!
I know what it takes to get to that place.
For seconds it may take
To critique...
The lifetime of one that completes,
From a nothingness...
To what a 'nothingness' can become!

And to observe without effort...
The skills it takes to get this done,
I am not so unwise to realize...
What one creates,
And what 'that' takes...I appreciate.

Unlike some,
Who are please to critique!
With eyes that are fast,
And feet quick to run!
If emotions aren't instantly attached...
Or imaginations unused are fused,
To conform with those with none!

I choose to be 'there! '
In the 'moment'...
To observe and be aware.
With a patience I enlist.
Knowing creativity shared like this...
And on display,
Deserves much more...
Than my quips without wit!

Or thoughtless comments made...
As if my pleasure to judge what's produced,
Will boost a huge ego...
I'm already trying to reduce!
