Relief and Burden

A loss leaves some relief,
Which relievs some sufferings.
A gain brings some burden,
Which disturbs some happiness.

Sonnet: Sufferings- the Key to Life

Through sufferings, we are born to lead this life;
Through sufferings, we are even baptized;
Through sufferings, we all must meet our strife;
Through sufferings, we’re even magnetized.

Through sufferings, sometimes we have our joy!
Through sufferings, we earn our livelihood;
Through sufferings, we grew to man from boy;
And sufferings’ our teacher from childhood!

Through sufferings, we learn in life good things;
Through sufferings, we learn to live well, pray!
Through sufferings, big truths, this world us brings;
By sufferings, we fight ‘gainst Tempter’s ways.

Yet, sufferings- a blessing God us gave,
To keep the road to Heaven, well behave!

Time Is Not Kind

Time brings no relief to me.
I miss him so much and you can't see
each day that comes,
each day that goes
just like the spring and winter snows.
It leaves me with my grief.

Time brings no relief to me.
Where is the time when I can be
without his face
in every place?
I believed the lie that time can heal
and liven up my pace.

But each step I take where he has been
is not a step I'm happy in.
Each day that's born,
each night that leaves
echoes the lie as I grieve.
Time brings no relief to me.

Sonnet: Great things are born of sufferings

The Bee that stings, alights on each flower,
more gently than the kiss of a lover!
And though it sucks the nectar hungrily,
The flower gives it away, lovingly!

Twisting and turning through the birth-canal,
The baby comes out head first, crying loud;
When mother's sufferings become banal,
It turns into a sigh of relief, proud!

Great things are born out of much sufferings;
And this is true of Poetry that lasts;
In sufferings, the spirit becomes king,
With armour of grace/divineness, God casts.

Effortless man remains in laziness;
After pain comes relief, thats happiness.

Being wise and fool

Big gain big loss is a risk.
No gain no loss is secure.
Small gain small loss is safe.
Small gain no loss is wise.
Big gain no loss is luck
Small gain big loss is a foolery.
We have recourse to all these
Somewhere sometime impulsively.

My Firm Belief

This is the world of loss and gain
Where God let nothing to go in vain
Even a water dropp that we get in rain
Helps us in moments of suffering and pain

When troubles come it makes us gray
And everything feels wrong in the way
And we don't find next stone to lay
And think that God has pushed us away

But this is neither true nor it is right
Because for us God emits bliss light
And show us nice things that are bright
For his ways are always unique and quiet

So if we feel we are stuck in a test
Where we are not given any rest
Then thing that at time seems best
is to go to God and pray with zest

Because this is surely my firm belief
That God who is our creator and chief
Will cease our pain and will give us relief
And will remove from us our distress and grief

Because this is the world of loss and gain
Where God let nothing to go in vain
Even a water dropp that we get in rain
Helps us in moments of sufferings and pain

Burden To Carry

Every man has a burden to carry
And some seem to carry it very well
While others complain, about the burden and strain
And as their fall from grace to all they must tell.
They will blame all others for the life they live
And then brag and lie for pity and shame
They will tell themselves to halt, that it was never their fault
So they figure their loss will also be their gain.

Every man has a burden to carry
And some need to carry that burden alone
As they don't seek help, from no one but themselves
And only GOD will feel their pain or hear them moan.
The burden they have is their right of passage
As they walk through life to become a man
Every step that they take, another worry they will forsake
And truly that a vigilante only he should understand.

Every man has a burden to carry
And so many carry it with a vigor and pride
As they head down the road, with their own life's load
While keeping a happiness and love and joy deep inside.
They live the life that was presented to them
And never once do they complain or quit
They take life in it's stride, they throw their chest forward in pride
And what they lost or will loose, they will never miss.

Every man has a burden to carry
And to see it just look upon a mans face
He will either be wearing a smile, like holding a child
Or else you'll see pain and sorrow and even disgrace.
Just walk in his footsteps at least one time
Take his journey as he run's or walks or even tarries
Then you will feel the weight, that man can't escape
As every man has a burden, that he must carry.

What is loss?

I resent
What loss represents
I resent
What great loss presents

So what’s the fuss about loss?

Waiting!
Debating!
Contemplating!

What is loss?
Something you care about
Taken away from you by force
Creating total unforgivable chaos

Thinking!
Blinking!
Seeking!

What is loss
It is a minus instead of a plus
Hence the unmistakable fuss
Death and sickness build up great grief
Loss brings despair instead of relief
And in loss itself I have no belief

I resent
What loss represents
I resent
What great loss presents

Loss! An inequitable cause
Thrown on you without a toss
So you become very cross
Because in your life you realize, you are never the only boss!

A touch of happiness

Could I ever have the happiness
of those who cannot walk
having a first step even if small?

Could I ever have the happiness
of those unsighted feeling
shadows for the first time?

Could I have the happiness
of music heard by one who
hear no sound?

Could I have the happiness
of the hungry parent
able to feed a child?

Could I have the happiness
of ones who after hard falls
finds no more holes?

......................................... ...........................

Did we forgot how to appreciate what we have, the small things, have we forgotten our priorities? ..Do we really need to gain a big loss for the chance to touch happiness?
What
IS
Happiness? ?

You See Life With a Wish to Leech

You,
Are much too negative.
And you wish to impose it,
Upon those who oppose it.

You,
See life with a wish to leech.
To satisfy selfish whims.
You are in it to gain.
Not to lose but to win.

And there is nothing wrong,
With desiring success.
But you wish it to be given...
Believing the taking of it,
Brings you a happiness.

You,
Are much too negative.
And you wish to impose it,
Upon those who oppose it.

You,
See life with a wish to leech.
To satisfy selfish whims.
You are in it to gain.
Not to lose but to win.

No matter who you choose,
To endure your sufferings.

It Was Not Difficult

Growing
And then into stems
Leaves
With roots
Flowers
Climbing
Touching and caressing

It was not difficult
To rise
To reach
Your wall
Get close
To your bosom
For a few words
To tell you

It was not difficult

But the addiction
Of impossibilities
And further impossibilities

And otherwise
What would have I gained

For my love
Was like
The love
Of Every one

What I gained
What I lost
In this love
Who knows
But me

And that
Your gain was my loss
And my gain was my loss

l Losses Are Sometime Good...

Loss, most of the time bad. On occasion, great!

SOME TIME A LOSS CAN BE GOOD!

Can loss sometime be happy. You bet! Ask some
divorced couples.

The other guy had a loss and I won!

My ex had a loss, of most of our assets. Yes,
you guessed it, I got 'em!

Insurance companies, now there's some, that
many take great delight,
when they suffer a loss.

When the tax man does an audit, if they have
a loss, we have a win! (best kind of loss)

The person who brings suite against you,
suffers a loss. (Ain't that sweet?)

A hostile mother-in-law, suffers a loss,
when her daughter gets divorced.

When one experiences a weight loss.
Now that's something that would make
millions of people happy!

When the owner of your building, is deemed
to be, 'rent controlled, ' it brings a loss
to the greedy titleholder. (break out the champagne)

When the neighbor you hadn't spoken to for years,
has a loss, of the keys, to her car.

When the kid, who keeps running over your lawn,
with his bike, has a loss, of the two wheel monster.

When you child, who you love, but drives you nuts
with their loud music, has a broken stereo,
and a loss of music. (They're unhappy. You're ecstatic.)

When one has a loss of sleep, because their spouse
was amorous all night. (Ahhhh, the good old days.)

When your in-laws, prepare to come to your house,
for the first time, and have a loss of directions.

When your spouse, who cremates every barbecue
they ever handled, has a loss of the coals.
(Actually you hid them.)

When the know-it-all comes to your home, and
can't say a word, because they had a loss of
their dentures.

Remember...If you have a loss, sometime,
the loss is good!

Night is not opposite to day

Failure is not opposite to happiness.
It is a result of an attempt.
You are further seasoned.
Loss is not opposite to happiness.
It is a result of the earlier gain.
What held only can be lost.
Wealth is not same as happiness.
Wants surpassing your wealth,
Your vessel is not full.

Nails In My Feet

My life is a house
You crawl through the window
Skip across the floor and into the reception room
You enter the place of endless persuasion
Like a knock on the door
When there's ten or more things to do
Who is that calling?
You my companion
Run to the water on a burning beach
And it brings me relief
Pass through the walls
To find my intentions
Circle 'round in a strange, hypnotic state
I look into space
There is no connection
A million points of light
And a conversation I can't face
Cast me off one day
To lose my inhibition
Sit like a lap dog on the edge of his knee
Wear the nails on your feet
I woke up the house
Stumbled in sideways
The lights went on and everybody screamed "Surprise!"
The savage review
It left me gasping
But it warms my heart to see that you can do it too
Total surrender
Your touch is so tender
Your skin is like water on a burning beach
And it brings me relief, it brings me relief, it brings me relief
Like a night in your mind
It brings me relief
In the back door
Under the stars
And the scenery is my flaw
In the back room
Under the stars
And the scenery is my flaw

A Book, Never Read

Many, many years ago, I experienced a loss most profound;
Now I view the same as a blessing-a dichotomy to confound;
I no longer need solace; I no longer grieve-
Any sense of loss I may have felt, I begged its leave;
I think not of moments lost; nor of a life, without;
My mind has removed, forever and always, any doubt:
For, my most heart-wrenching loss is now my gain;
My heart's poignant relief, supplanted its deepest pain!

Nary hath a moment come, since this day of change,
Where my former sense of loss, seemed anything but strange;
I am begotten from what I lost, though there, it ends;
I live my life with this knowledge, no matter where it sends
Me, or any other I may love-for, he is now and ever, dead-
Gone forever, forgotten completely-as though a book, never read!
