Joy and sorrow to dry

The loss brings you some relief too.
The gain brings you some burden too.
Joy and sorrow will dry themselves.

Relief and Burden

A loss leaves some relief,
Which relievs some sufferings.
A gain brings some burden,
Which disturbs some happiness.

A loss is a relief too

When I lost my wife
I felt that I had lost a leg.
Then I happen to know
That it had got my hands free.
Each loss brings a relief
That vanishes soon the grief.

Time Is Not Kind

Time brings no relief to me.
I miss him so much and you can't see
each day that comes,
each day that goes
just like the spring and winter snows.
It leaves me with my grief.

Time brings no relief to me.
Where is the time when I can be
without his face
in every place?
I believed the lie that time can heal
and liven up my pace.

But each step I take where he has been
is not a step I'm happy in.
Each day that's born,
each night that leaves
echoes the lie as I grieve.
Time brings no relief to me.

Hand Me Downs

Ive taken so many down
Ive helped them all to dismount
Ive followed so many down
I take their hand me downs
All with hope
All with hope
That emptiness brings fullness
And loss of love brings wholeness
All with hope
All with hope
That emptiness brings fullness
And loss of love brings wholeness
To us all
Everything that I believe
Crawls from underneath the streets
Everything I truly love
Comes from somewhere far above
Everything that I believe
Is wrong with you is wrong with me
Everything I truly love
I love in you and I love in me
So give me hope
Give me hope
That emptiness brings fullness
And loss of love brings wholeness
To us all
You swear you cant swim the river
(Ive become the beggar now)
(youve become the saint somehow)
But I saw you running to jump in
(Ive become the beggar now)
(youve become the saint somehow)
I swore Id never be your sinner
(Ive become the beggar now)
(youve become the saint somehow)
Til I held your sin
Hand me downs
Now you ask me why Im here
The same as you
Im scared - its fear
Ive become the beggar now
And youve become the saint somehow
Twist the words and place the blame
And tell me now arent we the same
Tripping in our yellow feet
Checking underneath our sheets
For some hope
Give me hope
That emptiness brings fullness
And loss of love brings wholeness
Give me hope
Give me hope
That emptiness brings fullness
And loss of love brings wholeness
To us all

Nails In My Feet

My life is a house
You crawl through the window
Skip across the floor and into the reception room
You enter the place of endless persuasion
Like a knock on the door
When there's ten or more things to do
Who is that calling?
You my companion
Run to the water on a burning beach
And it brings me relief
Pass through the walls
To find my intentions
Circle 'round in a strange, hypnotic state
I look into space
There is no connection
A million points of light
And a conversation I can't face
Cast me off one day
To lose my inhibition
Sit like a lap dog on the edge of his knee
Wear the nails on your feet
I woke up the house
Stumbled in sideways
The lights went on and everybody screamed "Surprise!"
The savage review
It left me gasping
But it warms my heart to see that you can do it too
Total surrender
Your touch is so tender
Your skin is like water on a burning beach
And it brings me relief, it brings me relief, it brings me relief
Like a night in your mind
It brings me relief
In the back door
Under the stars
And the scenery is my flaw
In the back room
Under the stars
And the scenery is my flaw

What is loss?

I resent
What loss represents
I resent
What great loss presents

So what’s the fuss about loss?

Waiting!
Debating!
Contemplating!

What is loss?
Something you care about
Taken away from you by force
Creating total unforgivable chaos

Thinking!
Blinking!
Seeking!

What is loss
It is a minus instead of a plus
Hence the unmistakable fuss
Death and sickness build up great grief
Loss brings despair instead of relief
And in loss itself I have no belief

I resent
What loss represents
I resent
What great loss presents

Loss! An inequitable cause
Thrown on you without a toss
So you become very cross
Because in your life you realize, you are never the only boss!

Being wise and fool

Big gain big loss is a risk.
No gain no loss is secure.
Small gain small loss is safe.
Small gain no loss is wise.
Big gain no loss is luck
Small gain big loss is a foolery.
We have recourse to all these
Somewhere sometime impulsively.

l Losses Are Sometime Good...

Loss, most of the time bad. On occasion, great!

SOME TIME A LOSS CAN BE GOOD!

Can loss sometime be happy. You bet! Ask some
divorced couples.

The other guy had a loss and I won!

My ex had a loss, of most of our assets. Yes,
you guessed it, I got 'em!

Insurance companies, now there's some, that
many take great delight,
when they suffer a loss.

When the tax man does an audit, if they have
a loss, we have a win! (best kind of loss)

The person who brings suite against you,
suffers a loss. (Ain't that sweet?)

A hostile mother-in-law, suffers a loss,
when her daughter gets divorced.

When one experiences a weight loss.
Now that's something that would make
millions of people happy!

When the owner of your building, is deemed
to be, 'rent controlled, ' it brings a loss
to the greedy titleholder. (break out the champagne)

When the neighbor you hadn't spoken to for years,
has a loss, of the keys, to her car.

When the kid, who keeps running over your lawn,
with his bike, has a loss, of the two wheel monster.

When you child, who you love, but drives you nuts
with their loud music, has a broken stereo,
and a loss of music. (They're unhappy. You're ecstatic.)

When one has a loss of sleep, because their spouse
was amorous all night. (Ahhhh, the good old days.)

When your in-laws, prepare to come to your house,
for the first time, and have a loss of directions.

When your spouse, who cremates every barbecue
they ever handled, has a loss of the coals.
(Actually you hid them.)

When the know-it-all comes to your home, and
can't say a word, because they had a loss of
their dentures.

Remember...If you have a loss, sometime,
the loss is good!

The Real Meaning Of Christmas

Christmas brings lights that lighten every alley.
Christmas fills the void of each heart's saddened valley.
Christmas brings Santa with surprising gifts of toys.
Christmas brings laughter to mainly girls and boys.
Christmas brings carols sung by mellifluous voices.
Christmas brings fantasies that suit many choices.
Christmas adds glamour to the choicest street's splendour.
Christmas emits fun with its rare yuletide colour.
Christmas makes sad faces to beam with unfeigned smiles.
Christmas brings seasonal joy travelling several miles.
Christmas brings hope to the annually despondent.
Christmas brings Christ, ever in our hearts resident.

The Months

January brings the snow,
makes our feet and fingers glow.

February brings the rain,
Thaws the frozen lake again.

March brings breezes loud and shrill,
stirs the dancing daffodil.

April brings the primrose sweet,
Scatters daises at our feet.

May brings flocks of pretty lambs,
Skipping by their fleecy damns.

June brings tulips, lilies, roses,
Fills the children's hand with posies.

Hot july brings cooling showers,
Apricots and gillyflowers.

August brings the sheaves of corn,
Then the harvest home is borne.

Warm september brings the fruit,
Sportsmen then begin to shoot.

Fresh October brings the pheasents,
Then to gather nuts is pleasent.

Dull November brings the blast,
Then the leaves are whirling fast.

Chill December brings the sleet,
Blazing fire, and Christmas treat.

Gained From War

War is stupid, wrong
War causes only pain
It kills both weak and strong
Simply put war is insane

War is unjust
It smoothers out hope
War brings disgust
This world just can’t cope

You, you call war
You live in bloody glory
Evil right to the core
Just to see you in the news story

Come on, have a heart
War is misery, sorrow, loss
Think of the family tore apart
Think of the swords that cross

In others pain you gain
Popularity, followers, fame
But this shows, you are no longer sane
This sorrow only has you to blame

War is stupid, wrong
War causes only pain
It kills both weak and strong
Simply put war is insane

Burden To Carry

Every man has a burden to carry
And some seem to carry it very well
While others complain, about the burden and strain
And as their fall from grace to all they must tell.
They will blame all others for the life they live
And then brag and lie for pity and shame
They will tell themselves to halt, that it was never their fault
So they figure their loss will also be their gain.

Every man has a burden to carry
And some need to carry that burden alone
As they don't seek help, from no one but themselves
And only GOD will feel their pain or hear them moan.
The burden they have is their right of passage
As they walk through life to become a man
Every step that they take, another worry they will forsake
And truly that a vigilante only he should understand.

Every man has a burden to carry
And so many carry it with a vigor and pride
As they head down the road, with their own life's load
While keeping a happiness and love and joy deep inside.
They live the life that was presented to them
And never once do they complain or quit
They take life in it's stride, they throw their chest forward in pride
And what they lost or will loose, they will never miss.

Every man has a burden to carry
And to see it just look upon a mans face
He will either be wearing a smile, like holding a child
Or else you'll see pain and sorrow and even disgrace.
Just walk in his footsteps at least one time
Take his journey as he run's or walks or even tarries
Then you will feel the weight, that man can't escape
As every man has a burden, that he must carry.

Fate or Destiny

Fate or Destiny

Is it fate or destiny that brings your smile for me to see?

Is it fate or destiny that brings us together as we hold hands?

Is it fate or destiny that brings our hearts as a union as one?

Is it fate or destiny that brings our stormy seas to rest upon the shore?

Is it fate or destiny that builds a lasting relationship, never to fall?

Is it fate or destiny that brings us close beyond the horizon of a sunny day?

Smiles the choice of rose hips hue

Who brings me the tears of rainbows blue?
And smiles the choice of rose hips hue
that brings to me the moons gentle dew?
With kisses soft; as slender new.

Who brings me the laughter of bluebells white?
And dances those greens; like a garden sprite.
That brings to me the azure mornings light?
Like a thistledown angel; lost in flight.

Who brings me a meadows flowing flaxen hair!
And whispering words spellbinding without a care
that brings too me a same sense of wonders rare?
Like woodland lilies under a leaf mould layer.

Who brings me the moons gentle dew..?
With kisses soft; as slender new..?
With smiles the choice of rose hips-hue.
Why; yes, my child it’s you!

Be Kind To My Mistakes

It is this that brings us together.
It is this that brings us together.
It's all right, darling,
We can do this together.
It's all right, darling,
I can think of nothing better.
I don't know you,
And you don't know me.
It is this that brings us together.
I don't know what you are
(It is this that brings us together.)
Looking for in me.
(It is this that brings us together.)
I don't know what I want,
But my heart is leading.
Am I yours? Are you mine?
We'll find all we're meant to find.
In your life, in my life,
There are secrets too dark
To let out, to let go of,
To get over.
But that's all right, baby.
That's all right by me.
'Coz, it's all right now.
(Just let me say)
Please, ("Yea, yo, yea, yo!")
Please, ("Yea, yo, yea, yo!")
Please, ("Yea, yo, yea, yo!")
Please be kind,
Be kind,
To my mistakes.
Be kind,
Be kind
To me.
