Granites and diggings
Words of admiration
Thrown around a woman
Are nothing but granites
Strewn around for her tomb.
Words of adulation
Thrown around a man
Are nothing but diggings
Made around for his grave

The Things You Say
Words
Said in a careless huff as you walked away
Hurt
Words
Said in a whispered excited voice
Caused electricity in me
Words
Said in a caring loving way
Were a balm for the wound in me
Words
Said in an angry menacing way
Felt like daggers thrown at me
Words
Said like sugary sweet morning due
Caused my knees to go weak
Words
Words, Words, Words..
Your words have so much power over me
Words
Said like a magic spell
Have enchanted me
Words
You throw around those words so carelessly
Do you know
Words
How they have been affecting and inflicting me..

I have thrown words beloved
I have thrown words beloved,
thrown words at thy feet,
tried to comfort and blanket thee
with verses complete
tried to wrap me
in words of meadowsweet.
I have tried beloved
to express my love to thee,
tried to be at thy side
but life with its challenges
sent me far and wide
and sometime only in my mind
I still see your sweet image,
scent your smell, touch your lips
and have you here with me
and I still love thee sincerely.

Words Like Pebbles
Words like pebbles
Thrown down a pond
Will cause some ripples
That go around.
Words like pebbles
Never come back
They sink in people
That they attack.
Words can create
A thousand circles,
Pain resonates
As hurts unfurl.
Words released
Like pebbles drown;
The friendships cease
As they go down.
Hold your words
Hide your pebbles
You cannot afford
To cause the ripples.
The pond is calm
So be blessed
Be friendship's balm
Speak what is best.
'Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise
brings healing.'
Proverbs 12: 18

I Don't Need a Woman
I don’t need a woman
She’ll only bring me down
I don’t need a woman
Love is thrown around
I can live on my own
I don’t like it, but I can
I could get a maid
That’s all I need
But my life is so sad
And no one will listen
It’s hard to live in change
When love will act so strange
She won’t get me
I’ll be on my own
She won’t know me
And love will not be shown
A fake love cannot last
Put that phase alone in the past
I don’t need a woman
She’ll only bring me down
I don’t need a woman
Love is thrown around
My bed sleeps empty
And cold at night
A woman will love you
But won’t love you right
As the days fly past
Happy couples will last
But true love is rare
As the days fly past
Happy couples will last
But true love is not here
I don’t need a woman
She’ll only bring me down
I don’t need a woman
Love is thrown around

When I Write These Lines
when i write these lines it is as good as
thrown paper, some words are written but
they are meant to be discarded because they have
occupied much of sadness
worn out memories
overused mumblings
they are meant to be crumpled
and thrown away
this one, this one is not meant to be kept
it is written
but meant simply to be deleted
some words are meant to be said
and be forgotten
because of pain and because they do not mean anything anymore.
goodbye lines, goodbye
take your time, there will be a little waiting
until another fool takes you in
another poet in the state of an inevitable
writer's block

The Dark Knight Comes Too Pass
The dark knight has come
Fighting for his moment
Fighting for his glory
Fighting for his thrown
Fighting is all he has ever known
From a mere boy
Being raised by the wolves
Living in the darkness for just too long
Something just went so wrong
The dark knight has come
Fighting for his moment
Fighting for his glory
Fighting for his thrown
Fighting is all he has ever known
Was it a death so desperately
Forever in misery
A loves tragedy
Is always so sad to see
The dark knight has come
Fighting for his moment
Fighting for his glory
Fighting for his thrown
Fighting is all he has ever known
The not so dead family
A murder held with in their arms
With no recourse
With no remorse
The dark knight has come
Fighting for his moment
Fighting for his glory
Fighting for his thrown
Fighting is all he has ever known
He's the alternate ending
As the light comes to pass
Shadows lurk
They shouldn't be disturbed
Let them rest in peace
The dark knight has come
Fighting for his moment
Fighting for his glory
Fighting for his thrown
Fighting is all he has ever known
Festered hate fills his eyes
As he is victimized
By those desecrated his loves ones grave
Becoming of the nightly terrors
The dark knight has come
Fighting for his moment
Fighting for his glory
Fighting for his thrown
Fighting is all he has ever known

Writing The Book I Never Wrote(for Linda)
Pocket notebook
full of poems
written with a green
fountain pen
(in purple ink)
with a calligraphic flourish
left out in
the storm.
The words
run wild
go native
revert to being
just lines
rivulets of words
tributaries of words
all flow and whirl
into purple pools
purple passages
becoming watery
hieroglyphs
a secret language
made only of water and wind.
And now
the hot sun
of noon
bakes the words
cakes the pages
'til they turn and curl
leaving the book
in the position
where words
have thrown off their clothes
and become
as naked as paintings
the unmistakable brushstrokes
of rain and sun
translated into
their own native tongue.

Once Again In An Academic Wasteland!
A soiled handkerchief
Thrown ten days ago
Pieces of chalk
Strewn all over
Ten days ago
Sand that walked
Into the class
Ten days ago
Crumpled paper-balls
Of insignificant messages
Hurled and thrown
At one another
Ten days ago
Casual wishes scribbled
Carelessly on the board
Ten days ago
Welcome me to a class
Of confused faces
After ten days of break!

Words
Words could never say it
words could never say it
I know now you're gone
and I can't go on
Where could you be tonight
I'm sayin' my sorry
baby I'm sorry
'Cause without your love in my life I'll die
I was wrong
I was so worng
And I'm so scared
what can I do now
when I close my eyes
all I see is you
Now words could never say it
words could never say it
if theres a reason why
say it's a lie
Words could never say it
how I feel now
now that you're gone
now that you're gone
Now that you're gone
we made it now
we made it love
we made such fools
of ourselves
we made it up now
you made it up oh yeah
you know you made it hard
we made it fast
I always thought
it would last
we took a bow
we did it all oh yeah
Words could never say
could never say
could only play
someone could say
would only playing with ourselves
Words could never say
how I feel now
some how
I've got find a way
cause when I dream at night alls I see is you
you're wantin' me
and me havin' you
Now words could never say it
words could never say it
everytime I try
I get lost inside

literary scene - Chopsticks, spoons, forks on the lane of my mind
A strange encounter, this person's writing, whom some hail as 'great', I found it to be inadequate. There are so many 'erudite' words strewn all over the place. The feeling is not that they are wrongly used, but that they stand around like they have no business except to point out the fact that the writer wants them to make him look smart. They feel like chopsticks, spoons, forks, chopping boards thrown onto the lanes of my mind. I just wish to tell the man....... your literary journey has hardly even begun.

Woman is better content.
For a woman,
Coitus is not ultimate.
Foreplay will do.
If not, kisses and touches,
If not, subtle amorous words,
If not, alluding words,
If not, mere admiration
And if not visual contacts,
Will do to release her libido.
Hardly does she slip to adultery.

A Trust Thrown
Farther than trust can be thrown
Closer than a world of your own
A man had to stop to eat a meal
Before he could please the king
With a deal
Farther than trust can be thrown
Brown white and gold
Are colors not to be sewn
But if the king has to eat
And if he pleased if he will
He will temporarily patch a deal
This for that
Gold can be sold for this
And a soul can be thrown for that
A home can be built right here
Only here is not a fact
Put your arms up and tell'em
Put your arms up
We ate with you yesterday
But you should have known not
To trust us
Father than we can be thrown

Thrown Into This World
he may have been thrown into this world
complaining that this matter is without his
consent and he may walk like he does not
belong and would not speak their language
or adopt to their dance and songs. He may
just stand there and watch and tell that he
does not like everyone and everything and
not gain any confidence from anyone and
he may just be a nobody but a protester.
Sadly, he is thrown into this world and
Gladly, he shall be thrown out. He reaps
what he sows. He sows dislike he shall
reap disgust and that is fair enough.

Modern Day Poet
I am the modern day poet you know
that must make words that easily flow.
For to just present words that ramble on
is to yield forth words that soon are gone.
They're gone from the listener and reader too,
who cannot reason or cannot view
how the words just seem to sit on a page
allowed to sit and yellow with age.
Words must be caressed and also thrive
to take on rhythms which come alive,
alive in the memory that through the ear
has taken it in and holds it dear.
And so in each poem I have my say.
And so in each poem my words do sway
back and forth like a front porch swing
giving my poem a magical ring.
I never allow dullness to come into play
for then my poem will be thrown away
into the piles of poems never read
because they're too hard to keep in the head.
So over and over it's become my style
to enchant the reader for a little while,
making them remember the lilting rhyme
that got into my head one word at a time.

You are not the tears I shed
and I am not the words you speak
as we are not these things that make us
Separate/together
What is the sum of us
words and tears
The whole seen in fragments
Like the items thrown haphazard into an overnight bag
for a weekend tryst,
forgotten, put aside
Only to be discovered later in the back of my closet
the scattered remains of what was/is
words and tears,
You and I
whole/apart
pieced together, the archeology of love
the shards of memory
Lost and found
And I am not the tears you shed,
as you are not the words I write
Yet we are perhaps these things that make us
Together/separate
Dust In The Wind
Dust thrown to the wind
Where does this truly begin?
When will it come to an end
Deja vu
Split in two
Whose who
I'm through with all the bullshit I've heard from you
Totally cut off
Seclusion
Walking into an illusion
Never ever land
Who has a plan?
Dust thrown to the wind
Where does this truly begin
When will it come to an end
Deja vu
Split in two
Whose who
Am I the undertaker?
Am I the heart breaker?
The one you never see coming
Till I'm gone
Took off running
Back to the hills
No more thrills
Dust thrown to the wind
Where does this truly begin?
When will it come to an end
Deja vu
Split in two
Whose who
What is a friend?
What is a lover?
Such words bring so much misery
Hate to love
Love to hate
Can anyone see the irony
Attraction isn't the same as destiny
A choice that is like not in me
Its just more dust
I throw it to the wind
Hoping I never see it again
Its just more dust
I throw it to the wind
Hoping I never see it again

You And Your Words
the words that you say
do not anymore waves of the sea
because you never mean them
and they who hear them
cannot even think of birds winging
on the park
pecking on some grains thrown
by well meaning citizens
of this country
the words that you flaunt
have become black and white peacocks
and the frogs who live on the fog
stopped croaking
confused about an evolutionary change
that they do not expect
coming
simply put
because you never mean what you say
you have also become nothing to them
you are mean and
so
you mean nothing at all

We were never thrown into the situation in the middle of our lives, but grew up doing it. This is all we know, and some people who were thrown into it don't really know what to do or how to react and this is just kind of natural for us.

Truly, Truly, This Is The End
They say deaths an open door
Into another room
Within the city of the dead
(Our New Kingdom)
They say we walk like dreams
Sharing the same breath
Seeing through the same eyes
(A collective spirit)
As we pray (As we pray)
On his grave (On his grave)
Or words fall and decay (And decay)
As we pray (As we pray)
On his grave (On his grave)
Or words fall and decay (And decay)
They say the Earth it gives no peace
Nor does it take away
We all survive the grave
(Unfortunate eternal)
They say that in times past
A king walked in the sky
Until dethroned by man
(Tribe of Judas)
As we pray (As we pray)
On his grave (On his grave)
Or words fall and decay (And decay)
As we pray (As we pray)
On his grave (On his grave)
Or words fall and decay (And decay)
Truly, truly, this is the end
Truly, truly, this is the end
Truly, truly, this is the end
Truly, truly, this is the end
It's not the same
I'm plagued with pain and I can't let go
It's not the same
I'm plagued with pain and I can't let go
It's not the same
I'm plagued with pain and I can't let go
It's not the same
I'm plagued with pain and I can't let go
This is the end
