You And Your Words
the words that you say
do not anymore waves of the sea
because you never mean them
and they who hear them
cannot even think of birds winging
on the park
pecking on some grains thrown
by well meaning citizens
of this country
the words that you flaunt
have become black and white peacocks
and the frogs who live on the fog
stopped croaking
confused about an evolutionary change
that they do not expect
coming
simply put
because you never mean what you say
you have also become nothing to them
you are mean and
so
you mean nothing at all

Words Sometimes Take On A Own Meaning
Words sometimes take on a own meaning
and sometimes they are sharp and painful
as if there is much more to words
as if a kind of secret knowledge hides in them
that are sometimes something moving.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning
but somehow words can at times miss things
and are sometimes dependent on feelings
as if there is much more to words
when through it all love brings a kind of bonding
and so you and I are attractive to each other.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning
and daily a bond develops between us,
while you become more considerable to me,
as if there is much more to words
you constantly live in my thoughts,
while love becomes real through words.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning
as if there is much more to words…

Without You
Feel so alone and sad
As if the meaning of being alive, exists no more
Nothing I have and nobody is here for me
Often, I feel so lost
Do not know where I belong, since without you life has no meaning
It is better to die than to live a lost life
I know you do not hear me anymore because you simply do not care
Knowing, I will have to be without you for the rest of my life
Feels really terrible and no words can explain this sadness of mine
An empty life I have
In which I am just a lost soul, with no meaning left to live
It is better to die, although even death does not come that easily
Just feel very sad, without you my love.

Iam LOVELY like a White Red,
Iam Lovely Like White and Red,
Iam Lovely Like White and Red,
These Crows that are Hateful will change to Red and White,
I hate White and Black,
But to Hit these Hateful Birds in our Stomack is Even Better,
I can see the Change in our Eyes,
To Red and White,
A Battle Prepared will never be Half Time anymore,
But a Change in Faces,
Those that Killed Christ will see a Forgiven REMEDY,
For God is LOVE in Highest REALM,
The Hateful BIRDS will change to RED AND WHITE,
A NEW WORLD ORDER EMERGES.

I Can't Take This Anymore
I am numb
Why are you away?
I've got no one to turn to
How long am i to live like this?
I can't take this anymore.
Those words i said
Were just words
And yes they were meant to hurt you
But i'd take them all away now if i could.
Walking on this cobbled street
Alone.
Desperately crying.
Hoping that it's you i meet
I can't take this anymore.
Will you please come back to me
I'm screaming
Can you hear me?
I didn't mean those rotten words i said
I can't take this anymore.
Are you doing this to hurt me?
Cos babe it's working
I now know what you mean to me
It's love.
And i can't take this anymore.

Songs In The Night
Like a fog horn on the Erie
And train whistles in the night,
The echoes of these lonesome sounds
Are magnified by fog's dim light.
But in the solitude I'm sitting in,
Pondering what will be my fate,
Have I the time to change some hearts,
Or has the clock found I'm too late?
I pick a single topic
And filter it in my mind.
But it gets drowned out with others,
Like an intoxicating wine.
Even in this quietness
Is the occasional sound of birds.
My thoughts have no pecking order,
And are simply jumbled words.
Then I put them on a page
Just like rolling a pair of dice.
And somehow without knowing how
The words sometimes turn out nice!

You're My Evergreen
The words we say, old flowers fade away
Remember yesterday, wish it would bloom again
Apathy and pain, here comes the autumn rain
Old apologies scattered in the wings of fate
Cause today it all looks black and white, wish it would change
We can't keep painting colours when its
Don't hesitate, cause you will bleed
A thousand tears won't wash it clean
Don't hesitate cause you can free yourself
Evergreen, evergreen
Down on my knees, crawling though the streets again
Surrendered to my needs, so i can breathe the air
You're my evergreen, regents park in spring
It takes me to a place, where i can dream again
Cause today it all looks black and white, wish it would change
We can't keep painting colours when it rains
I just want some place where i can breathe without this bitter taste
Cause today it all looks black and white, wish it would change
We can't keep painting colours when it's grey
It all looks black and white today
You're my evergreen, regents park in spring
It takes me to a place, where i can dream again
Cause today it all looks black and white, wish it would change
We can't keep painting colours when it rains
Evergreen, evergreen, evergreen

Unspoken Words
My thoughts are going back - back to the time
When I was young to live a life
A life of lies - full of lies
Then you came into my life
And youve changed so many things
That Ive done before - that Ive done before
Without you Ive been so alone
Dont leave me this way
Without you Ive been so alone
Dont leave me this way
You treated me the right way
You always said dont give up
Some day you will see what I have done
And when I start thinking about me
Then I find out
You did it right - just right
Without you Ive been so alone
Dont leave me this way
Without you Ive been so alone
Dont leave me this way
Unspoken words - so many unspoken words
They cannot lie to me anymore
Unspoken words - words so full of meaning
They cannot lie, theyre from inside
Unspoken words
Back to start again - were working still together
More than ever - better than before
Better than before
Without you Ive been so alone
Dont leave me this way
Without you Ive been so alone
Dont leave me this way - dont leave me this way
Unspoken words - so many unspoken words
They cannot lie to me anymore
Unspoken words - words so full of meaning
They cannot lie, theyre from inside
All those unspoken words so many, many unspoken words
They cannot lie to me anymore, oh yeah
Without you Ive been so alone
Dont leave me this way, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Unspoken words...

Poem about Poetry - Essence
i do not like writing poetry for the
self professed sophisticated people
they cannot take words for what they are
and have the penchant to take more than
what you wish to say; they gobble up words
like the black hole and expect every new line
to have a word from the thesaurus when all i want
to say is simply I love the world for what it is

To Hear Those Words Again
To hear those words again,
Would be music to my ears.
Eliminating all my worries,
Smashing all my fears.
To hear those words again,
Coming straight from your heart.
It's easy to know when you are here,
But distance now keeps us apart.
To hear those words again,
To let me know you are there.
For everyday I say it to you,
To let you know I still care.
To hear those words again,
Even though I know you do.
Just once after all this time,
Let me hear 'I love you'.

Words inspire and words destroy
Words conspire and words annoy
Words spread freedom and words detain
Words believe them in sound refrain
Words of passion in words misleading
Words without action are words without meaning

In the Bushveldt
A crow flies croaking in the game park,
indignant about vultures that descent,
where they act out their antics, pecking,
at remains left by the lions.
I stay detecting through the open window,
and drive a day's journey past gigantic trees of teak
drink ice cold cool drink while we talk pleasantly
and I notice zebras, elephants, a leopard and then this:
three lion cubs that eat voracious, unhindered,
and they look as innocent as small kitten
with the sun touching their fur with patches
until the male roars, makes its presence known.
A crow flies croaking in the game park,
at remains left by the lions.

Last Words
Words that stick in our minds
we all wonder what the last ones will be
romantic to a lover final goodbye
a fighter gasping to fight till the end
a loner uttering a change to late
a prisoner express his hatred past
words that touch, some that hurt
but to some we don't hear their words
instead we see the tears and anguish in their eyes
there were some great lives, some bad ones
the ones that are missed are lost souls
flowing in time for us to catch and hear
their last words
it's hard to remember those anguish words
tears and cries hide those words
remember those words bad or good
it's the last time you'll hear their voice
last words to live by, cherish life

The Tinker Of Words The Imagist At Work
early dawns
are stressed frogs
they cannot sing
their croaking throats
there is simply
no rain here
they change themselves
into poets
to demean you and
what you do
they swim in the
air (as there is no water
here yet
as there is no rain
and that is
logical enough
to understand)
and the birds
laugh
their tongues are as small
as a punctuation mark
of their
poems
that croak like a frog
as i watch all these
from the hammock
that mocks
i fall into a deep sleep
like Alice
into the big hole
of my
indignant indifference
pure imagination
seeking the support of logic
yet hollow still
because there is really
no one there
nothing human
like a friend.

When I Write These Lines
when i write these lines it is as good as
thrown paper, some words are written but
they are meant to be discarded because they have
occupied much of sadness
worn out memories
overused mumblings
they are meant to be crumpled
and thrown away
this one, this one is not meant to be kept
it is written
but meant simply to be deleted
some words are meant to be said
and be forgotten
because of pain and because they do not mean anything anymore.
goodbye lines, goodbye
take your time, there will be a little waiting
until another fool takes you in
another poet in the state of an inevitable
writer's block

Waiting For The Time That I Have No More To Say
i am simply waiting
for the time when i have nothing anymore
to say and
then i will just sit there
in the corner looking at the sun
that will no longer rise or set,
not
really static,
it simply passes,
as though nothing happens.
and
when i have nothing more to say
it simply means,
goodbye,
i have freed myself
at last,
from the bondage
of speech from
the opression
of words,
from the anxiety
of the syllable,
from the demands
of certain
letters to finally form
a word,
from the
mandate of a blank slate
searching for
its own meaning
in whatever i speak.
and write

I have a problem when people say something's real or not real, or normal or abnormal. The meaning of those words for me is very personal and subjective. I've always been confused and never had a clearcut understanding of the meaning of those kinds of words.

Three Little Words
Three little words
Oh what I'd give for that wonderful phrase
To hear those three little words
That's all I'd live for the rest of my days
And what I feel in my heart
They tell sincerely
No other words can tell it half so clear-early
Three little words
Eight little letters
Which simply mean I love you-ou
And what I feel in my heart
They tell sincerely
No other words can tell it half so clear-early
Three little words
Eight little letters
Which simply mean I love you
Simply mean I-I love you-ou

The Things You Say
Words
Said in a careless huff as you walked away
Hurt
Words
Said in a whispered excited voice
Caused electricity in me
Words
Said in a caring loving way
Were a balm for the wound in me
Words
Said in an angry menacing way
Felt like daggers thrown at me
Words
Said like sugary sweet morning due
Caused my knees to go weak
Words
Words, Words, Words..
Your words have so much power over me
Words
Said like a magic spell
Have enchanted me
Words
You throw around those words so carelessly
Do you know
Words
How they have been affecting and inflicting me..

Geese Park
Geese Park,
Resting Place,
In Accra;
And, the President of Ghana,
John Evans Atta Mills was laid to rest.
Geese, peacocks, pigeons, doves and docks!
In a clean envirinment to pay their respect;
But, with a big pond around under tight security.
Face out of sand,
Words out of mind,
Works out of hands;
With mourners dressed in Red and Black! !
And, his resting place was at the Geese Park.
