No Need To Laugh

there it is
the big joke is in the mirror
it is sad
and i don't laugh about it

but sometimes
i really do
i really do
when i am no longer bearable to
myself
when i am much heavier than
i can expect

because sometimes
we lie
we lie sometimes we lie
more often than
we can muster

Between A Laugh & A Tear

When paradise is no longer fit for you to live in
And your adolescent dreams are gone
Through the days you feel a little used up
And you dont know where your energys gone wrong
Its just your soul feelin a little downhearted
Sometimes life is too ridiculous to live
You count your friends all on one finger
I know it sounds crazy just the way that we live
Chorus:
Between a laugh and a tear
Smile in the mirror as you walk by
Between a laugh and a tear
And thats as good as it can get for us
And there aint no reason to stop tryin
When this cardboard town can no longer amuse you
You see through everything and nothin seems worthwhile
And hypocrite used to be such a big word to you
And it dont seem to mean anything to you now
Just try to live each and every precious moment
Dont be discouraged by the future forget the past
Thats old advise but itll be good to you
I know theres a balance see it when I swing past
Chorus:
Between a laugh and a tear
Smile in the mirror as you walk by
Between a laugh and a tear
And thats as good as it can get for us
And there aint no reason to stop tryin
Between a laugh and a tear
Smile in the mirror as you walk by
Between a laugh and a tear
And thats as good as it can get for us
And there aint no reason to stop tryin
When paradise can no longer amuse you.....

Innocent Mirror

Look into your mirror
And tell me what you see
Is it really you?
Or someone you cannot be

Don’t look at someone else’s mirror
And tell them who they should be
Looking in their mirror
Will not change what your mirror sees

When you look into your mirror
Are you sure you see yourself?
As you gaze into your eyes
Are you sure your eyes aren’t reflecting someone else?

It’s not the mirror’s fault,
That it reflects someone else
How do you expect a mirror to reflect you
If you don’t know who you are yourself

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XXII: Laugh

there's laugh, forced laugh
laugh, gentle rejection without word
laugh, looking sympathy with laugh
laugh but actually doesn't laugh
hiding anger, hiding pain
cheerful laugh but alone inside
why you try hard to impress people?
tired and wounded more
laughing your foolish joke
and crying life in the dark room
laugh for yourself
laugh with your heart
and you'll never regret to try an honest laugh

Tearful Eyes

The mirror laughed; it gleaned my thoughts
And saw me cry my want:
Synthetic views - pathetic clues
To how I tick - and now you taunt,
You bleeding mirror, jibe another!
Just because I dream…

To be the mighty hero wise!
And perch atop the sodden hill
Of blood and pungent death,
To lead our race from sure demise.
Let's regain, collect, and rest
Before the battle slams
Our dauntless nerve. And now to rise!
Come follow me - we'll slay the foe!
See my cloak unfurl.
Through screams and wails, he fails and dies.
Look! he falls across his minions'
Path. I laugh aloud.
My warriors hold me to the skies.
Overhead the clouds recede,
Thinning out the black.

And then I fade in pallid lies.
Returning back to conscious state,
I let the mirror slate me:
Fathoming my remote disguise,
Reflecting back my hopeless lot.
Oh to smash the thing!
If I could see through tearful eyes.

It Is A Joke

it is a joke
and it will always be
a joke

that how it is,
it is a joke, my own joke, and i laugh
when i remember it,

i send it to you and you send it back
like a ping-pong ball
it bounces and i see it coming
back to me

it hits me right in my eyes
got double vision, cross-eyed

i am hurt. It is not a joke anymore.
it is here beside
a tear, a bruise, stained and scarred.

Total Recall

Your mirror no longer recognises you
as you stare in vain at it
hoping to jog its memory;
the face your mirror chooses to reflect
wants nothing more to do with you;
the mirror remembers you only as you were,
recalling those bright shining moments
of lucidity and strength;
You remember nothing of those now
and the mirror won't remind you
of any of them;
Struggling to traverse the empty expanse of meaning,
you ponder how it ever came to be so;
how the mirror aeons ago chose
to no longer chase and retrieve that
which you let slip from your grasp;
You and the mirror both now wait,
for the return of the Prodigal,
in vain.

A Joke

a joke makes me laugh
because of the twist that i have not anticipated

sometimes it is not that way
we may not want it but we even laugh without the twist
without the joke

we laugh because it has become too bitter
and there is no other possible option

The Mirror Struggled

The mirror struggled; reflecting beauty such as hers
Prescribed a glory in the challenge – a fairytale
Or such as like! To shimmer back hypnotic hues
From auras of her skin – how do mirrors cope?
Hoary tales of pretty adolescent buds
Could never hope to match the tomes of dreamy
Pulchritude apprising us of such a belle as she.

The mirror shone; and as it worked itself, a moment –
Did it overlook the hidden melancholy?
Were melting eyes bedewed–? Florid lips imbued
With mournfulness? The hindrance of the silver glass!
Oh! to seek – to know the meaning of the sorrow!
She (with tearful hair, an image out of heaven)
Never opened up her heart. The mirror struggled.

I Loved the Way You Did It

Hey...
I am the joke.
And you are the teller of them.
Remember?
I do.
I will always remember your laughter.

No!
I do not accept your apology.
I like things just the way they are.
With you believing me to be a joke.
And the laughter those jokes at my expense,
Would bring...
I do not wish it any other way.

You have no idea,
Just how inspiring you have been.
Hey...
I am the joke.
And you are the teller of them.
Remember?
I do.
I will always remember your laughter.
By all means...
Continue.

I loved the way you would laugh at me,
In the presence of others.
Can you still do that?
I loved the way you did it.

No.
Please.
You are spoiling my fun.
Don't apologize.
Laugh at me.
Laugh at me.
I loved the way you did it

Why are you so mad with me?
'That joke you told', the mirror said,
'It cracked me up, and now I'm dead! '

Expect Your ………….You!

Expect your friend to be not better than you;
Expect your neighbor to not forgive you;
Expect your country not to goad you;
Expect your siblings to but discourage you;
Expect your children to not care for you;
Expect your spouse to rather hinder you;
Expect your love to always forget you;
Expect your home sometimes to ignore you;
Expect your native place to not honor you;
Expect the world to disregard you;
Expect your enemy to well hate you;
Expect your Maker to much love you;
Expect your God to never forsake you;
Expect your Lord and God to never abandon you.

Mirror Mirror

Mirror mirror
You tell lies
Who put crows feet
Round my eyes?

Mirror mirror
Hanging there
Who put that grey
In my hair?

Mirror mirror
Is that me
Is that really
Me I see?

Mirror Mirror
Stop your fun
That's not me
That is my mum

Mirror mirror
Don't stare back
For it's bad luck
If you should crack

Mirror mirror
On days like these
When what I see
Doesn't please

Mirror mirror
My mood this day
Will ask you turn
The other way!

I Am Mirror

The function of the psychoanalyst.
Lead vocal: leo sayer
Suppose i were to tell you that the meaning of dreams
Is not all that it seems and the ultimate truth is a lie.
And you are just a puppet who can dance on a string.
Do you feel anything?
Would you laugh? would you care? would you cry?
But the meaning of life is a mystery, how can anyone disagree?
And the music is a symphony which we play in a minor key.
I am a mirror. i am a mirror. looking at me you see yourself
I am a mirror. i am a mirror. every face is someone else.
Look at me smile and you're the clown. and if i dance you turn around.
Look in my eyes and see your tears until the music disappears.
So if you are confused and don't know which way to go.
You will certainly know. from the moment we're living we die.
And if it's all a crazy game you don't want to play
Tell me what you can say.
It's a joke. it's the truth. it's a lie.
But the meaning of life is a mystery that we don't understand.
And the music is a rhapsody if you're happy the way that you are.
I am a mirror. i am a mirror. looking at me you see yourself
I am a mirror. i am a mirror. every face is someone else.
Look at me smile and you're the clown. and if i dance you turn around.
Look in my eyes and see your tears until the music disappears.
And the meaning of life is a mystery though we live it from day to day.
But the music of live should be harmony so that anyone here can play.
I am a mirror. i am a mirror. looking at me you see yourself
I am a mirror. i am a mirror. every face is someone else.
Look at me smile and you're the clown. and if i dance you turn around.
Look in my eyes and see your tears until the music disappears.

Where You're Coming From

You can not walk in my shoes
And expect to achieve progress.
Nor can you look over my shoulder,
To perceive your accomplishments!
Nothing that I've done,
Materialized just on wishes.

You want an easy ride.
Without hard work done...
Or tears to cry!
You want a smooth and clear path,
With time to joke and time to laugh!

They may call this business the creative arts!
But the creative part about it...?
How to sustain a sanity maintained
While holding onto a part of you...
No one but you know!
And It breathes with life but no one sees it!
As ignorant comments are made on a daily basis,
About 'you' and your lack of progress!

You want an easy ride.
Without hard work done...
Or tears to cry!
You want a smooth and clear path,
With time to joke and time to laugh!

You can not walk in my shoes
And expect to achieve progress.
Nor can you look over my shoulder,
To perceive your accomplishments!
Nothing that I've done,
Materialized just on wishes.

Years in the making!
Years with much of my heart breaking!
It took me years...
And don't think I don't notice,
Where you're coming from!

Mirrors Never Lie

Looking into a mirror, can reveal the deepest secrets a person has.
It tells you who you really are, even if you’re trying to hide it.
It’s amazing what people can hide, when they smile or laugh.
They can be the saddest people in the world and no one will ever know.
Except a mirror.
You may be able to lie to others,
But when you look into a mirror, you can’t lie to yourself.
The mirror shows you what’s inside, and how you feel.
It tells you how beautiful you really are, and it shows you.
Looking into the mirror is like looking into your soul,
You look at yourself, you judge yourself.
But you see more than normal people do when you look in a mirror.
Because they only see you from the outside.
So remember that the next time you look in a mirror,
You are looking at your true self,
Because mirrors never lie.

Mirror, Mirror, Bloody Fibber

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Can't you show me tall and slim?
Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Must I look so bloody grim?

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
You're distorting my poor waist!
Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
And why the heck am I defaced?

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Why have I a double chin?
Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
And what's the stupid, goofy grin?

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Pointless asking ‘Who’s the fairest? –
More bloody likely, 'Who’s the queerest? ’
Now look, I paid a big bucks for thee,
So why can’t you be nice to me?

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Who’s the fairest of them all?
Me, you say? Ah, that's better –
Mirror, mirror, bloody fibber!

Girl In My Mirror

I'm looking in my mirror
Theres a girl in there tonight
Shes breaking apart so quickly
And nothing can make it alright
Her eyes are red and swollen
Mascara bleeding down her face
She'll never let them know
That shes feeling out of place
She asks
'Mirror mirror on the wall
Who is
The biggest fool of all'
Maybe its the girl
Crying her life away
Or maybe its the boy
Who's mind has been lead astray
Theres this girl in my mirror
With tears she can no longer hide
She can't pretend any longer
Because nothing is alright
