Letting The Hours Go
the hours run so fast
and you are being left alone
in that room
where you still try to record
an accounting of
the past, as though you are into
a collection case
of those who are indebted to you
when you step out
from the door and close it
behind you
it is already dark and the
street lights
begin to make some islands
along the alleys
there is now a dichotomy between
the hours and your
own pacing
there is no one waiting
and you expect nothing to really love
that truly
let the hours go
they must have other persons in mind
who are still
in sorrow

Is All About You
1 hour unity,
2 hours peace,
3 hours playing,
4 hours sleeping,
5 hours smiling,
6 hours living,
7 hours trusting in your muse!
For this river is mine and yours foeevers;
And, i want to be close to you always.
1 hour smiling,
2 hours learning,
3 hours thinking,
4 hours with your muse,
5 hours teaching,
6 hours working,
But, the 7th hour comes for me to sleep with you;
Because, this love is all about you! !
And, i want to be with you always.

Well, especially now I come to realize - and then - I would do my schooling which was three hours with a tutor and right after that I would go to the recording studio and record, and I'd record for hours and hours until it's time to go to sleep.

Staight Back
Written by stevie nicks.
What can I say this time
Which card shall I play
The dream is not over,
The dream is just away
And you will fly like some little wing straight back to the sun
The dream was never over
The dream has just begun
The dream has just begun
Fingers find the ivory keys
And a song begins to begin l
Like a wolf on the run
And you will find while in the wind something that you lost
The dream was never over, no
The dream was only lost
(hours and hours of waiting for you,
So strong and so fleeting)
The dream has just begun
(and hours of waiting for you...
In hopes of meeting)
The dream has just begun
(this way)
Well, the dream has just begun
She remembers how good it can be
He remembers a melody
Ah, in the shadow of my shadow in a gleam
He remembers how good it can be
She remembers a melody
Well, in the shadow of my shadow in a gleam
(hours and hours of waiting for you
So strong and so fleeting)
The dream has just begun
(hours and hours of waiting this way...
Meeting, me)
Hours of waiting for you
(so strong and so fleeting)
The dream has just begun...
(meeting this way)
Straight back now
(hours and hours of waiting
So strong and so fleeting)
Hours and hours waiting this way
Hours and hours of waiting this way
Straight back
Straight back
Straight back... yeah!
He remembers a melody
He remembers how good it can be

You Left Me A Song
Out of the glitter and the shine
Out of the corner of my eye
Saw you walking I freeze the frame
My lucky game
We could've been strangers if we tried
Move to the rhythm side by side
Maybe a glance across the room
Blue moon
Why did the hours burn so long
Sunset and shadows cold
I hear the music playing now
I know you're gone
But you
You left me a song
Under the skylight after dark
Cripping to find you, what a luck
We were like children stripping down
The joy we found
But even the lights that turn me on
Make it so hard to see beyond
Make it a rainbow in my mind
This ???
Why did the hours burn so long
Sunset and shadows cold
I hear the music playing now
I know you're gone
But you
You left me a song
Huh you left me
Huh huh you left me
A song
Why did the hours burn so long
Sunset and shadows cold
I hear the music playing now
I know you're gone
But you
You left me a song

The Time Thief
I feel the hours move too fast
and know that I can't make them last.
I do not cry for loss of them,
but the giver of time I do condemn
and cannot forgive how he takes away
every hour on every day.
I close my eyes to all of this
with the hope that he might miss
a few of the hours that belong to me.
But when I open my eyes I see
that those few hours are also gone
and I must face one more dawn.
And again my condemnation's here.
I cannot forgive this thief I fear.
He's stolen the sight of sunny skies.
He's stolen them right before my eyes.
He's fled with all the music I love.
He'll leave me nothing that I'm made of.
Forgive him? No, never I say.
Condemn him, yes and so I pray.
'Let him feel the loss like me.
Let him suffer the misery
of not enough hours to feel complete
and not enough time for his heart to beat.
Sentence him as he sentenced me.
Take away his hours so I can be
free.'

It's a shame that the only thing a man can do for eight hours a day is work. He can't eat for eight hours; he can't drink for eight hours; he can't make love for eight hours. The only thing a man can do for eight hours is work.

What Happened When The Lights Went Out
early that evening
there was a total blackout in the city
for an unknown
cause again, and
this happens not just for that
lonely time
only but for the nth time
when the hours are lonelier
than usual, and
to make use of those dark hours
since we see nothing
more important to do than read,
we spend the hours, and hours
talking,
it is you who is doing most
of the talking, choosing the words,
and arranging them
to perhaps please me, but i was
not there anymore,
i was then, and am mostly,
a wanderer amidst the forest of your
sentences,
and i feel like your are sentencing
me into a listener imprisoned
in those bars of
senseless words, and i
as i once told you, always escape
as a swift bird,
and you as usual do not notice it
when i am already
far away into my own
kind of personal homeland
where you cannot find me
or catch me
naked and innocent like a native,
and i do not hear about you anymore
and when i come back
and take the shape of a man
you are already fast asleep and then
i step silently inside the room
via an open window
slip on the bed wet with your tears
and then i gently sleep beside you
and i cannot sleep that night
as i judge myself guilty of an injustice
which i have inflicted against
love and trust
a la Cupid to
Psyche,
and then i, before my own
sleepy eyes,
blow that stupid candle
away
and then it is so dark
deep into the night i journey
burdened
like one of the Furies
into the
cliffs of Sisyphus.

Flight Delays (Life Poem)
Sympathyless disbelief when I complain again,
Delays are the balance for the glamour of flying.
Nine hours in Sao Paulo while the ATC strike,
Eight hours in Vienna while new wheel flies in,
Seven sins would be justified by this purgatory,
Six times six hours from CBB to DUB last week,
Five hours sweating in Port au Prince plastic chair,
Four hours for rain in Miami seems not so bad,
Three hours in Shannon for bomb threat search,
Two hours sitting in Seattle with mad dash in Kennedy.
One would be happier walking, swimming or driving.

14 Hours
14 hours to go
And the waiting's almost done
When I get back home
You're going to be the only one
Staring at the lights or staring at the sun
Everyday another fight or ill to overcome
Another day another place
Forgot the name but not the face
I've been away for too long to remember
14 hours to go
And the waiting's almost done
When I get back home
You're going to be the only one
Suspended animation countdown has begun
Hurry up and wait for all of the things that must be done
It doesn't matter what state I'm in
They've all been waiting so let's begin
I know that when I'm back I'm going to miss it
I hate it when someone complains about their life
So I hope you know exactly what I'm saying
You won't get what you want without a sacrifice
Just be careful what you wish for you might get it

7 Hours
Today's a sunny day
And there's a lot of time to go with it
For me
I want to celebrate and have fun for 7 hours
So ladies and gentlemen
Make the food
Fill up the drinks
It's going to be a fun 7 hours
I'll bring my poems
Maybe my photos
Perhaps even show the ladies a dance I know
7 hours
And the time is ours
Full of nice memories
Full of good times
Full of new friendships
Full of whatever we want to make of it
These 7 hours
These 7 hours of perhaps stress free and
drama free
These 7 hours to be what we want it to be

where did I park my car?
1
where did I park my car?
I’m sure I left it here
on this level
just hours before
had a coffee at the center
caught up with some friends
watched a movie
and bought some stuff for home
and now I can’t find my car
though I’ve searched past 10 minutes
where did I park my car?
I’m sure I left it here
on this level
just hours before
no, that’s not mine
that’s a Mercedes;
that one’s too shiny;
and maybe it’s this one
- no, mate,
we won’t go any nearer
this car is too clean
mine will look like
it’s not been washed since Noah
where did I park my car?
I’m sure I left it here
on this level
just hours before
2
well, yes, help me look out...
it’s an old Nissan
blue faded into white;
no, nobody ‘ll steal that
and the only people
who’d give it a second look
will be the traffic police
who’d wave as if to say:
Pull over, Sir;
let’s have a look at
your rego and front tyres
now, where did I park my car?
I’m sure I left it here
on this level
just hours before
well, damn,
I’m sure it hasn’t moved
it’s not that sort with smart technology
self-park, self-drive or with sensors;
it’s like an old useless dog
completely lost without its master
where did I park my car?
I’m sure I left it here
on this level
just hours before
now that we’ve looked
about 30 minutes or more
I’m not sure if this is the right level;
Oh, did I stop at Yellow Level
or Blue or Green or Pink?
was it level 1 or 2 or 3 or 9?
it’s completely out of my mind
where did I park my car?
I’m sure I left it here
on this level
just hours before
ah, there it is
that old boneshaker;
thanks mate, for helping me look
You were saying you want a lift –
yes, come - I'll dropp you…no trouble…
yes, it’s just on the way…
Hey…Where you going?
What? Don’t want a lift?
You’d rather walk home?
Hey, what’s wrong with my car?
OK, suit yourself…
at least I found my faithful car…
where did I park my car?
it was Level 5, Yellow Sector
Lot 125
all the while
and that beauty was here each second
an old helpless dog, waiting for its master

The House That Does Not Speak About Anything...
how time swiftly flies without wings of birds
i wake up at dawn lacking sleep
into writing, into deeper thoughts on soundless hours
and how fast, how fast has morning arrived
i am innocent
how stupid can i be
inventing hope and trying to modify the shape of my days
the lights of the door and the kitchen are not turned off
the neighbors are worried
i am home but i am not opening the windows and the door
i am into writing, into the deeper thoughts of my soundless hours
let the neighbors think that i am on vacation again
for weeks
i am into a waking slumber gathering dreams, ripe fruits of sleep
of the waking and sleeping again and again
i love a house that doesn't speak about anything that cannot
remember anybody
the dark loves me.

Hours Continuing Long
HOURS continuing long, sore and heavy-hearted,
Hours of the dusk, when I withdraw to a lonesome and unfrequented
spot, seating myself, leaning my face in my hands;
Hours sleepless, deep in the night, when I go forth, speeding swiftly
the country roads, or through the city streets, or pacing miles
and miles, stifling plaintive cries;
Hours discouraged, distracted--for the one I cannot content myself
without, soon I saw him content himself without me;
Hours when I am forgotten, (O weeks and months are passing, but I
believe I am never to forget!)
Sullen and suffering hours! (I am ashamed--but it is useless--I am
what I am;)
Hours of my torment--I wonder if other men ever have the like, out of
the like feelings?
Is there even one other like me--distracted--his friend, his lover,
lost to him?
Is he too as I am now? Does he still rise in the morning, dejected,
thinking who is lost to him? and at night, awaking, think who
is lost?
Does he too harbor his friendship silent and endless? harbor his
anguish and passion? 10
Does some stray reminder, or the casual mention of a name, bring the
fit back upon him, taciturn and deprest?
Does he see himself reflected in me? In these hours, does he see the
face of his hours reflected?

Last Dance
Wake up! its a monday morning
No time left to say goodbye
Cant breathe and the lights are changing.
You can live your own life
Making it happen
Working on your own time
Laid back and laughin
Oh no, oh no.
Headlights, make it home by sundown
Feeling that the day is through
Return back to where you come from
You can live your own life
Making it happen
Working on your own time
Laid back and laughin
Oh no, oh no.
You wake up in the mornin
And the suns comin up.
Its been up for hours and hours and hours
And hours and hours and hours
Its been up for hours and hours and hours
And you light up the stove
And the coffee cup, its hot.
And the orange juice is cold, cold, cold
Monday morning,
Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up
Its time to go,
Time to go to work.
You can live your own life
Making it happen
Working on your own time
Laid back and laughin
Oh no, oh no.
No, no, no.

The Coloured Hours
GRAY hours have cities,
Green hours have rhymes
Of hearts grown loving
In old summertimes,
But the white hours have only
A cloud in the sky
And a star, bright and lonely,
To remember them by.
Gold hours have laughter,
Red hours have song
Drawn from lost fountains
Of beauty and wrong.
But the white hours,–O, tender
As rose-flakes they lie,
With youth's fallen splendour
To remember them by.

The impatient hours
The impatient hours
~
The drumming of fingers
The ticking of the clock
Loudly fill the impatient hours
Wasteful in their emptiness
Surely there must be something better
But the wait continues anyway
Waiting on a promise to come good
Hoping its not like past promises
Which all became just lies
Paranoia stalks the mind
Reminding of the past disappointments
Why should this one be any different
Why wait in stale confines
When you could leave, walk away
Forget the promise in an instant
The drumming of fingers
The ticking of the clock
Grow ever louder
Counting each possible outcome
The promise bares fruit
Or becomes another lie
Still waiting on the realisation
In the impatient hours
Wasting the day into nothing

We all lived in the same house, or most of us did. And as far as I can make out we were confined to the property, because at twenty-four hours' notice we'd have to do a gig somewhere. So you couldn't leave the building for more than twelve hours in case a gig came through.

Your Love
Without me you would be crying
But when with me on my shoulder you'd be lying
For hours n hours either being silent
Or talking nonstop, without being frighten
In ur mind only me and our world
We living together and getting old
Your mind that so vast and so fast
Thinking abt our future that would last
Last for forever, things so much in ur mind going,
When with me loudly laughing n without just crying
It's because that so so so much you love me…
And I won't leave you and i love you too jan di…

I Cant Make U Love Me
Turn down the lights, turn down the bed
Turn down these voices inside my head
Lay down with me, tell me no lies
Just hold me close, dont patronize
Dont patronize me
Cuz I cant make u love me if u dont
I cant make your heart feel something it wont
Here in the dark, in these final hours
I will lay down my heart (my heart) and Ill feel the power
But u wont, no, u wont
Cuz I cant make u love me if u dont
Do u?
Do u love me?
Look at me
Ill close my eyes, then I wont see
The love u dont feel, when ure holding me (hold me)
Morning will come and Ill do whats right (do it right {x2})
Just give me til then 2 give up this fight
And I will, I will give up this fight
Oh, yes I will
Cuz I cant make u love me if u dont
I cant make your heart feel something it wont
Ah, dont u know here in the dark, in the dark baby, these final hours (here in the dark)
I will lay down my heart (my heart) and Ill feel the power, oh yes I will
But u wont
Tell me why, tell me why u dont?
(I cant make u love me if u dont)
Come here, baby
(I cant make your heart feel something it wont)
Talk 2 me, tell me where u wanna be kissed
Talk 2 me, tell me how u want me 2 do this
In this bedroom/church, u can guess the offering
I offer u (my heart)
I offer u sexual relations (but u wont)
But u wont (u wont)
Tell me whats up baby?
Am I moving 2 fast?
Not only do I wanna be the first, I wanna be the last, the last
Is that so bad?
I.. I want 2.. u know
I wanna, I wanna, I wanna make u love me
(do u love me? )
Come on baby, u can take it (my heart) (come on and take it)
Its real love - I wanna make it (I wanna)
But u wont love me, love me (but u wont)
U wont love me, baby
Whats a man 2 do?
What is this man gonna do?
I cant make u love me if u dont
I want u 2 (love me) love me
I need u 2 (kiss me, yeah)
Oh darlin (love me)
Love me {x5}
Turn down the lights, turn down the bed
Turn down these voices inside my head
Lay down with me, tell me no lies
Just hold me close between your thighs
(I cant make u love me)
