Anxiety

I HAVE been anxious for days
jumping and running
for no visible reason
like a flea
like a grasshopper
always
doing things
because
these actions
are nothing
but routine

a routinary
anxiety
just like
taking a bath
or brushing
my teeth

i worry
For the days to come
And I ask
what are these days?
why are these days coming to me?
like some worms
clinging eating
a rotten
piece of wood

What I am worrying about?

for god's sake
why don't you answer my phone?

where were you last night?
who was with you?
and why are you getting fat?
what food are you eating?

I am wrecked
Nerves entangled
like loose threads
like grasses
growing all over
a garden
like some weeds
in the wilderness
like some pieces
of junk
scattered on
the garage

like some dry leaves
on the part
blown by this wind
in all directions

And blood rising
My head swirls

My fingers tremble
my hands shaking

I could be hungry
have not eaten
Food for days

There is air
In my stomach and it is
accumulating a lot of
Emptiness
it is
Painful
gas building up
and i
will be exploding soon
inside
is a bubbling
hunger
a danger
of putrid air
and filling up
madness

Why I am such a worrier?
good question.

I am weakened
by so much of this bloating up
a pressure
of gas
putrid acrid
accumulations

I want to sleep
But my thoughts
Are crowded
like a busy public market
filled with pickpockets
and hawkers
and hawks
and owls
a night forest
dark and
howling
and

i am fed up with a lot of
quarrels
of bad blood

these worries
are like murderers
Killing my sleep

i am being stabbed
at my back
And I am
Always awakened
By nothing significant

the wounds of insignificance

a moss clinging to a
watered stone
is insignificant
it is always there

I worry for things to come
And they did not come
And the fear that
these things
That comes
that are coming
will choke
Me

Are not at all true
bad dreams.

My mouth is dry

Saliva is sucked
By my own
malicious tongue

My fingers are cold
The heat is
Eaten by my palms
hungry always hungry
for anything warm
for anything warm
that it will always eat

I look like a zombie
I walk like a zombie
I think like a zombie
I see like a zombie
i am talking like a zombie

I am anxiety.
i am some kind of hairs scattered throughout my
forehead and my
body of entangled hairs
unwoven into a face
of a scattered splintered man

Beware, do not imitate
the cold is too much
the splinters so many and so tiny
there will be no reconstruction

or a recovery that will take sometime.

Zombie Stomp

I don't need a doctor
But I need something to kill the pain
Don't know what I'm after
But the pressure's driving me insane
Searching for a different role
Had a funny feeling I can't hide
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Why can't they just let me be
Alone without the misery
Hey, hey, do the Zombie, Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Flirting with disaster
Morning after killing me again
Hiding from the laughter
And the demons dancing round my brain
Always dancing on thin ice
I guess I'll have to pay the price
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Thinkin' how it could have been
If I had never let them in
Hey, hey, do the Zombie, Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Take me to the doctor
'Cause I feel it coming on again
Don't know where I'm going
'Cause I guess I don't know where I've been
Looking for a different ride
Always dancing on thin ice
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Thinking how it could have been
If I had never let them in
Hey, hey, do the Zombie, Zombie Stomp

Zombie Zoo

All down the street they're standin' in line
With white lipstick and one thing on their mind
Hey little freak with the lunch pail purse
Underneath th e paint you're just a little girl
Dancin' at the zombie zoo, dancin' at the zombie zoo
Painted in a corner and all you wanna do
Is dance down at the zombie zoo
Cute little dropout, how come you pack a rod
Is your mother in a clinic ? has your father got no job ?
Sometimes you're so impulsive,
You shaved off all you're hair
You look like boris karloff and you don't even care
You're dancin' at the zombie zoo,
Dancin' at the zombie zoo
Painted in a corner and all you wanna do is
Dance down at the zombie zoo
She disappears at sunrise, i wonder where
She goes until the night
Comes fallin' down again
She shows up with her friends half-alive
You can make a big impression or
Go through life unseen
You might wind up restricted and over seventeen
It's so hard to be careful, so easy to be lead
Somewhere beyond the pavement
You'll find the living dead
Dancin' at the zombie zoo, dancin' at the zombie zoo
Painted in a corner and all you wanna do
Is dance down at the zombie zoo
Yeah dancin at the zombie zoo
Yeah dancin at the zombie zoo

I am the Internet zombie

I am the Internet zombie
I have no heart
Because no-one
Talks to me

I have no ears
My hands are out
In front of me
Com Zombie

I do not like sky
Or fresh air
Just the bright screen
In front of me

I am the Internet zombie
I do not eat
I do not leave
My office bedroom

I do not sleep
Instead I zzz the screen
Just read me
I am the Internet zombie

Zombie In The Rain

My eyes are blank and empty
And I am not sane
My soul is empty also
I'm a zombie in the rain.

I'm not feeling anything
Tho my body is in pain
I just don't give a damn
I'm a zombie in the rain.

I could freeze and not know it
My body is on the wane
I'm empty and don't realize
I'm a zombie in the rain.

The is no future for me
Only a cessation of pain
I don't feel it anyway
I'm a zombie in the rain.

Zombie

Another head hangs lowly
Child is slowly taken
And the violence caused such silence
Who are we mistaken
But you see it's not me,
it's not my family
In your head, in your
head they are fighting
With their tanks and their bombs
And their bombs and their guns
In your head,
In your head they are cryin'
In your head
Zombie
What's in your head, in your head
Zombie
Another mother's breakin'
heart is taking over
when the violence causes silence
We must be mistaken
It's the same old theme since 1916
In your head,
In your head they're still fightin'
With their tanks and their bombs
And their bombs and their guns
In your head they are dyin'
In your head, in your head
Zombie
What's in your head, in your head
Zombie

A Zombie's Misfortune

A zombie stopped
by the castle
on a rainy day
A day when I
was all alone

My father
the beloved king
was far away
Away on king's
business

An encounter
with a zombie
can be
nerve wracking
or even
heart stopping

But with my
unlimited supply
of arsenals
It can be
earth shattering
for the zombie
who crosses my path

For the zombie
of creepville
I will use my
high voltage gun
For zombies
are the hardest
to kill

My plan was
a success
Peace reigned
in the kingdom
My father
came home
to a well
deserved feast

How To Make A Monster

She freak out at a damaged life like a jailbait in the park
A teenage wolf with a bloody knife going down in the dark
How to make a monster baby, how to get it on
How to make a monster baby, how to get it on
Go go zombie, go go yeah, yeah, yeah
Go go zombie, go go yeah, yeah, yeah
Roots in hell and time will tell if your baby is insane
A child bride with bloody eyes got satan on the brain
How to make a monster baby, how to get it on
How to make a monster baby, how to get it on
Go go zombie, go go yeah, yeah, yeah

one of them; it gets up and kills!
The people it kills get up and kill!

(gunshots)
I-I-I-I was born a zombie, on mercury, by the sea
I-I-I-I was born a zombie, on mercury, by the seeeee

“ I will never love you again”.

Every night,
I cry out my heart
To the pillow
And turning it upside down,
swear
“ I will never love you again”.

But,
Every morning
I get up
My soul filled up
To the brim,
with love for you.
My senses
all clouded,
with your thoughts.
And
Like a zombie,
I go on living,
Giving,
Laughing,
Crying.
While my soul
Yearns for your soul,
My heart
Pines for your love
And my being
Just wants to
reach out to you.
Then the days
Turns into nights
And again,

I cry out my heart
To the pillow
And turning it upside down,
swear
“ I will never love you again”.

Pray,
will this turmoil
of mornings and nights
ever for me
will end?
Will there be
A day
When this zombie
will have a soul again?

But till then,
Every night,
I cry out my heart
To the pillow
And turning it upside down,
Swear,
“ I will never love you again”.

Am I not a person?

Am I not a person?

It would appear.
That im not a person.
Not quite human.
More like a zombie so to say.

Am I not a person?
That is the question.
Im not a person.
Not quite human.

An emotionless wrekage.
Within the walls of brakeage.
Am I not quite a person?

Im not quite humane.
Not quite the person.
I once used to be.

Am I a person?
Or just a big mess.
And a sorry excuse
For a person?

Im not quite a person.
This I do now no.
Im more like a zombie.

Am I not quite a person.
Nope Im not.

I just one sad sorry mess.
A zombie of my formerself.
Just a sad sorry mess.
And a pethetic excuse
For a life.

Killing Conscience

Excuse me! Please turn the lights off
I am trying to hide
I am trying to hide from someone
Rising up inside me
Don’t want to see
I will wait till he leaves

My animal was hungry
It needed to be feed
It pulled my roots apart
Where was he?
Now I don’t need his advice
I have been eaten
I have paid the price

And as the sun rises out of my window
I try to bring him down
I am shedding tears
Tears to get him drowned
The next time my animal rises
I will keep him around
I will make sure
He’s lost, never to be found.

Put Your Hand Inside The Puppet Head

As your body floats down third street
With the burn-smell factory closing up
Yes its sad to say you will romanticize
All the things youve known before
It was not not not so great
It was not not not so great
And as you take a bath in that beaten path
Theres a pounding at the door
Well its a mighty zombie talking of some love and posterity
He says the good old days never say good-bye
If you keep this in your mind:
You need some lo-lo-loving arms
You need some lo-lo-loving arms
And as you fall from grace the only words you say are
Put your hand inside the puppet head
Put your hand inside the puppet head
Put your hand inside
Put your hand inside
Put your hand inside the puppet head
Ads up in the subway are the work of someone
Trying to please their boss
And though the guys a pig we all know what he wants
Is just to please somebody else
If the pu-pu-puppet head
Was only bu-bu-busted in
It would be a better thing for everyone involved
And we wouldnt have to cry
Put your hand inside the puppet head
Put your hand inside the puppet head
Put your hand inside
Put your hand inside
Put your hand inside the puppet head
Memo to myself: do the dumb things I gotta do
Touch the puppet head
Quit my job down at the carwash
Didnt have to write no-one a good-bye note
That said, the checks in the mail, and
Ill see you in church, and dont you ever change
If the pu-pu-puppet head
Was only bu-bu-busted in
Ill see you after school
Put your hand inside the puppet head
Put your hand inside the puppet head
Put your hand inside
Put your hand inside
Put your hand inside the puppet head

Run On Automatic

Mostly lots of action in my head, ideas fighting for
priority, a book to read, plans for borderline crime
or at least relatively interesting things – as empty
as a sieve today - all thoughts fall into a myriad
miniature black holes in my mind, nothing sticks

Nothing has meaning, annoying and boring, must
be the result of something I have eaten, the curry
last night, allergy rampant destroying everything
except the outline of my thoughts which run on
automatic, everything else lost, munching like

A worm, trying to minimize this effect though it
seems all attempts are worsening it, need sleep
to change personalities, escape the zombie state

How to Lasso a Zombie

Zombies are not afraid of crucifix or holy water
They hate sports matches, and emotional soap operas
Because they are the frozen dead
If you are lucky enough to encounter one in the wild
You can distract the zombie with rapid hand motions
While reciting some epic poem
When you find those glazed eyes upon you
Tie the zombie firmly to the nearest tree trunk
To scare away all the crows from the grounds
And prove an interesting conversation topic
When your friends come for dinner
(Zombies have no unions, and do not hold
With lawsuits- and they make great pets too)
Once you acquire one, everyone in the neighborhood
Will soon be out shopping for their own zombie
Just remember you were the original first owner
And they are all just copycats.

The Zombie

(after C Louis Leipoldt)

His skin was pulled thin
and his face was pale like that of a skeleton
and it was in my direction that he was marching,
looking cold like gravestone he was coming on.

His eyes lacked all energy of life
and his body did not look as if build out of flesh
while his legs folded out like a clasping knife
but some energy this foul thing did possess

but it had a kind of sense and sensing
which was full of evilness
although it was walking like a sleeping thing,
but it had some kind of aloofness.

It was passing under a streetlight
and I was wondering if it did from some grave crawl?
I was stunned at its strange sight
while it looked as if searching for a brawl.

Two old people at its feet did lie
where from fear they did pass out
as they were afraid to die
and a well build man in fear at it did shout

but to the square it went on its way
and did not look at me while it was passing
while children who did in the street play
in fear at it was glancing.

In the square a crowd was gathering,
and those people wanted peace,
while veterans were speaking against war and killing
and as it did approach everything did cease.

Some women did pray and others did weep
but I wanted to know who this Zombie was?
Away from it every one tried to keep
while its eyes sparkled like glass.

One elderly man shook his head
and honoured the thing that was almost dead
and I shouted: “Who is this? ”
“It’s the president, ” he replied to my dread.
