Running through things because you are familiar with them, breeds routine and this is the seed of boredom.

A Familiar Routine

Why have I stopped a familiar routine?
I began to notice,
How others became annoyed with it.
Believing I had nothing else to do,
But to offer them my assistance...
As if I had something to prove.

And after eliminating a familiar routine,
As a practice to be involved...
With a contribution of a doing of things,
I decided my own happiness would benefit...
From the more time I now give to it.
With a doing of that I have yet to regret.

Violence

(tennant/lowe)
----------------
The sons and brothers, fighting for another cause
Anything to give their lives some meaning
Busy with their guns and dreaming
Far away from here
Said they would act (said they would act)
In self-defense
And all the others, running 'round so hot and bothered
Anything to give their lives some meaning
In the evening
Running around with guns and
Said they would act (said they would act)
In self-defense
With violence
Violence breeds
Violence
(ooh yeah, ooh yeah)
Violence breeds
Violence
(ooh yeah, violence breeds violence)
(ooh yeah, breeds yeah, breeds yeah)
(ooh yeah, ooh yeah)
The son and brother, when he gets home
He gives someone some love
And mutters: "woman, (mutters woman)
You'll never understand (never understand)
I did what i said (did what i said)
In self-defense
With violence"
Violence breeds
Violence
(ooh yeah, ooh yeah)
Violence breeds
Violence
(ooh yeah, ooh yeah)
(ooh yeah, violence)
(ooh yeah, violence breeds violence)

She Is Bored

a routine for boredom
at 4 o 'clock in the afternoon
she goes to the city
to buy something that must distract
her attention
in this messy hours of the day
when all things simply look the same
indistinguishable

two parts have become too distinct

one part needs a name
the other stays unknown
to keep life interesting.

Sunrise

a routine
the most familiar
taken for granted
and sometimes
not admired
neglected by
the mind
for those who
chase time
running a dog
eat dog world

for one who stops
a while
and ponder upon
this event
of sun reappearing
as the night
fades giving
way to day

i say' what a miracle of
all miracles! '

first sunrise
after so many rainy days

[im running out of lies]

Running To You

My life is falling to pieces
It turning upside down
I'm running away from my past and forgetting it
Running to you
For help and save me from this broken road
Take me back home
You're my hero
I do anything to get out of here
I'm sick and tired of same routine
Days going on and past me by
Running to you
For fun and wild time of my life
I'm just looking for a good time with you
Running from here, my problems, and everyone
Running to you

Fear, not love, guards.

Fidelity breeds woman boredom.
Infidelity threatens to break her ribs.
In between she struggles till forty
After which she dares to reach one.

Kindness breeds cowardice.
Hatred breeds blindness.

Running Out Of Wind

Running out of wind,
And...
Accusations.

That merry-go-round is slowing down.
And those who have become bored with it...
No longer find the scenery,
Appetizing enough...
To keep returning for revisits.

Running out of wind,
And...
Accusations.

A promise to speed up the ride is dismissed.
People just want to put an end to it.
They demand to get off.
That's it...
They quit!

Running out of wind,
And...
Accusations.

Running out of wind,
And listening with patience...
To those blowing it consistently,
Until a boredom has set in!

War is Boredom

War is Boredom

War is Boredom

War can be defined as long periods of boredom, short burst of terror, seemingly lasting forever, To those who are there, Waiting for another outburst, which never seems to cease.
You Pray, you count all your blessings, the outgoing not what you fear, its the incoming that can't be trusted.
War can be defined as boredom, for those who's life was spared, as the days in between that matters, on those who life spent there.

The Sand

The sand on the beach never looks the same,
No matter where you stand something always has to change
Why does life have to be so difficult?
Not always do things have to change,
People would rather have things stay the same…
But what fun would that be,
Things set to a routine
Always knowing, no excitement
People would rather have routine instead of change.

Which Kingdom marches ahead?

Low breeds are discarded and weaklings, eliminated;
Hybrids are propagated and high-breeds, nurtured.
This is the kingdom of Plants and Animals.
Low breeds are promoted and weaklings, protected;
Hybrids scorned and high-breeds ignored.
This is the kingdom of Human being.
Which kingdom marches ahead?

Devoted To A Going Through Of The Motions

Is it in the routine shown,
That I believe I am and get favor...
From a 'deity' I wish to impress.
Because of the ritual of the act,
I address as told is expected...
To achieve the best affect.

Or is it my expectation that I receive it,
As I acknowledge my ability to forgive...
To others with proclamations stated,
That I am chosen and highly favored...
Since I am devoted,
To a going through of the motions.

And to do this I am,
With all of the artifacts adorned and attached...
With a flaunting of it to ensure they are seen,
By others familiar with going through the same routine.
And I can redeem myself while passing judgement,
On others anytime I choose and wish.
No matter how artificial the entire process.

The Flowers In Your Garden

you are telling me that the flowers in your garden
must not be of one and the same kind
or else there will be so much boredom

you are telling me the need of variety:

roses and jasmines
and suntans and daisies, colors and scents all in multiplicity

as you talk your eyelashes curve a little lower than i expected
and your mouth twitches a little bit just to show your dislike
and contempt of the word:

boredom

unnecessary uniformity, that human need of variety
equated with a taste for something new
and even unusual

i completely agree with you.
Let me take you inside my heart
where my garden lies:

flowers of different colors and scents

i have grown them all inside my heart,

feelings of love and
desire, in a variety or sorts
in a diversification of breeds

and if by now you ask me and demand
that i may tell the truth
inside my heart, in my garden of love, you are a very beautiful flower
so sweet scented and well loved and cared by me

but there are other beautiful flowers growing in there,
you are not
just the one and only, as you would like to think
that to be

and i will tell you again,
I agree with you, there is a need really
for a variety,
the one that removes the word

boredom

from the beautiful garden of our vocabulary.

Who Would Defray

Stuck in a rut,
That's me, and shut
In by routine,
Do you know what I mean!

Boredom's set in,
Life's pretty thin,
What's to be done
When there's no fun!

Just need a break,
Would love to take
A few days away,
But who would defray!

Cos I'm totally broke,
And that is no joke,
So I'm sat here on my butt
Still stuck in a rut!

Any ideas?

I'm running but to where?

Running, running
There is nothing lef to do.
Running...
Away from my tears
Away from my pen
Running to know who I,
am.

Running
But you, don't know what,
You're,
Running from.
Running in circles
Going nowhere.
I'm saying Goodbye
I am runnning away.

Never stop runnning
Words running throught,
My mind.
Running away,
Like the coward,
Like him
Horrible words
I am running and runnning,
For you.

I m running but to where?
I can't believe
That I've put up with you lies.
Im running from the past..
Running out the pain.
Running with out you.
