A Mystics Breath

A mystic is one;
Who does not
Take for granted,
A feckless cloud above,
Nor a single breath!
He chooses a life of observation,
And awareness until death

His mantra;
“So above, so below”
His spirit anticipating activation
‘Til then…
Eternity compels his soul to grow

A mystic knows,
When comes the end
And when “All That Is”
Helps him ascend

Mystic Moon

the mystic moon she shines so bright
it fills our hearts with the power of light

mystic me she calls to us
for us to live a life we can not rush

the mystic moon
her silver wind
blows through our world
and binds us to her

mystic moon
why do you love us so
we are born of darkness
yet you shine your light as our protector

mystic moon i understand
you are the darkness in wich we command

The Hamadryad.

Last night I was like one who prayed
Beneath a mystic tree
Whose windless leaves a murmur made,
As if it there might be
A spirit in the sap that laid
Its spell on them and me.
A creature who, invisible,
In sorrow and in mirth,
Through summer's heat or when the chill
Is on the dreaming Earth,
Sings as in sleep divinely still
The secret of its birth.
(And as it sings, possessed, apart
From all things far and near,
The music of its own strange heart
Is all it seems to hear,
As if its ardour made an art
Of its own atmosphere.
Still none who come there hear the song
Until their souls are bowed
Beneath the mystic boughs, among
Whose living leaves a crowd
Of spirit voices, weak and strong,
Sing all that God allowed).
Oh! wondrous was that faery strain,
Too holy to be heard
But by the soul with no profane
Imagination stirr'd —
Like a seer when his heart and brain
Are in the coming word,
And he bows low before the breath
Of that which, as a flame,
All that he is illumineth
And calls him as by name,
When one to him are Life and Death,
One honour and one shame.
Ah! so possessed I heard them sing,
The many voices who
Were the sense of a secret thing
That with the tree-life grew,
As it did from the same seed spring
And a dream-breath from it drew —
The mystic life which God had shut
Within the dark seed's core,
Diverse from all that He had put
In others evermore —
No hint of death behind it, but
Of life that is before!
The tree-life in more lives than this —
Of that it sings for aye —
And as I listened the world's hiss
In silence died away,
And the perfect life for all that is
Like a dream on me lay.

Inspiration.

There's a wind that sweeps through the day and night,
And like the lightning goes,
But none have heard the sound of its wings,
And none know whither it blows;
But where'er it comes the thoughts of men
Are like clouds together hurled,
As they are carried with mystic speed
Over the crazy world.
We see no waving of leafy boughs,
Nor heave of the purple sea;
When this wind its fiercest blows, the Earth
May be still as the dead men be;
But the spirit feels its fiery breath
And the souls of men are stirr'd,
As o'er the mesmeric lines of life
Is flashed the magic word.
The gale from the Spirit-land blows in,
And they who feel it glow
With an ecstasy and ardour like
The seers of long ago —
The vital and inspiring breath
With which ideas are sown,
Like visioned seeds, in the mystic soil
Where the spirit-flowers are grown!

Into The Mystic

We were born before the wind
Also younger than the sun
Ere the bonnie boat was won as we sailed into the mystic
Hark, now hear the sailors cry
Smell the sea and feel the sky
Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic
And when that fog horn blows I will be coming home
And when that fog horn blows I want to hear it
I dont have to fear it
I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
Then magnificently we will float into the mystic
And when that fog horn blows you know I will be coming home
And when thst fog horn whistle blows I got to hear it
I dont have to fear it
I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
And together we will float into the mystic
Come on girl...

Ancient Dust Of My Homeland

Spirit of Mystic Aoteaora, enter into me
Land of Long White Cloud, enter into me
Spirit of My Forebears Ancestors, enter into me
Spirit you called Legendary Fairy Folk, enter into me

Spirit of ice capped southern mountains,
rivers forests glaciers, enter into me
Spirit of this old mystic majestic land,
encapsulating my birthright, enter into me

Dark majestic nights descend
upon wild west coast beaches,
Moonlight lapping serene wave tops
sparkling with ephemeral magic

Spirit of multitudinal diverse natures
Blowing in spray blown sea breezes,
Spirit of ancient dust of my homeland
Spirit of ancient Aotearoa, enter into me

Death Is The Beginning It's Not The End

From the day we are born we are dicing with death,
We have limited control over our final breath,
You may live for seconds or for many years,
Our demise is something everyone fears.

When will it happen do you wish you knew how?
Or perhaps you wouldn't if it was happening now,
When you're young and carefree you don't really care,
You tend not to think of when or where.

If an elderly relation in your family dies,
You ask yourself why everyone cries,
Why did they leave could it possibly be planned?
As a child it's so hard to understand.

As you grow older the thought crosses your mind,
It's then you realise death can be so unkind,
If there's a God is it he who chooses,
What's the criteria, who wins who loses.

Who is it that decides how you'll meet your fate,
Will it be early in life or will it be late,
Could it be through disease or perhaps old age?
To know this would take the mind of a sage.

You needn't fear death if you believe God is true,
Have faith in the Lord and he'll see you through,
The kingdom of Heaven is open to all races,
He has no interest in the colour of our faces.

A land of paradise where we're all as one,
Living in harmony, as for conflict there's none,
It may sound like a dream but God does not deceive,
There's life after death but you've got to believe.

The main lessons in life that need to be learned,
Are entry to His kingdom can only be earned,
If you wish to do otherwise your soul you can sell,
The rewards will be an eternity in Hell.

So you see there's no need to be in fear of dying,
The Good Lord has never been one for lying
By obeying Gods will to Heaven you'll ascend,

‘' Death Is The Beginning It's Not The End ‘'

Don’t Weep For Me

Please don’t mourn as I depart, for that is when my life will start.
No longer will I be facing death, I’ll be breathing Heaven’s breath.
Please don’t weep, don’t weep for me, I’ll be at home in Eternity.
I had actually died in Christ, down on earth when I had my life.
Life on this earth began for me, a pilgrim’s journey into Eternity.

When on earth I am no more, I will be in Heaven forevermore.
Finally with my Savior who died, to live for eternity by His side.
This earthly life is temporal friend, with a beginning and an end.
However, my death is not my end, for that is when I shall ascend,
To a majestic place above the sky, to reign with my Lord on high.

Unlike this earthly life my friend, a life in Heaven will have no end.
It begins for me a whole new life, spent forever with Jesus Christ.
My mortal body racked with pain, becomes immortal so I can reign,
And reign forever by Christ’s side, in a new body that’ll be glorified.
Friend, in just a moment I will change, never again to be the same.

When I ascend through that sky, Christ will indeed wipe every eye.
Friend there is no need to fear, for Christ will indeed dry every tear.
Death for me is life you see, so please my friend, don’t weep for me.
So when I die don’t mourn for me, for I will begin my life in eternity.
Just be certain you know The Lord, and I will see you again for sure.

Breathe In…breathe Out

God Breathes Life in…
You know this from first spanking

Involuntary breathing;
Regulated by a knowing body
Disrupted by emotions
Halted by trauma
Stopped by death

“Breath contains Light”

Learn to be a conscious breather;
Take in breath with awareness
Take in positive ions contained in Wind
Breathe out negative thoughts
Breathe out negative feelings

Breathe in
Breathe out

Let breath carry your prayers
Let breath voice thanksgiving
Let each breath praise God…

Now

Now
Say nay,
Man dry man,
Dry lover mine
The deadrock base and blow the flowered anchor,
Should he, for centre sake, hop in the dust,
Forsake, the fool, the hardiness of anger.

Now
Say nay,
Sir no say,
Death to the yes,
the yes to death, the yesman and the answer,
Should he who split his children with a cure
Have brotherless his sister on the handsaw.

Now
Say nay,
No say sir
Yea the dead stir,
And this, nor this, is shade, the landed crow,
He lying low with ruin in his ear,
The cockrel's tide upcasting from the fire.

Now
Say nay,
So star fall,
So the ball fail,
So solve the mystic sun, the wife of light,
The sun that leaps on petals through a nought,
the come-a-cropper rider of the flower.

Now
Say nay
A fig for
The seal of fire,
Death hairy-heeled and the tapped ghost in wood,
We make me mystic as the arm of air,
The two-a-vein, the foreskin, and the cloud.

Mystic Child

It was only the time of the newly born dead
With wispy cobwebs in your head
The polar moon looked out instead
Goin wild
Liquor shifting through the brain
The manic depressive goes insane
Goin wild
Goin wild
Desperate anger hits the streets
By the foul smelling river by the meat market
Goin wild
Mystic child
Goin wild
Mystic child
In the winter with frozen toes
Looking out the big windows
To fly
Goin wild
Situation x out of control
My eyes half opened like a mole
Who smiles
Goin wild
Who smiles
Goin wild
In the mystic morning where the river meets
The hurdy-gurdy of the hip-hop beat
5 a.m. the viscous street
Oh, wild
Goin wild
Out the window like a flash
Fallin through a rooftop crash
Blind
Goin wild
Sick and misty like a pup by the curb
Hes throwin up
Wild
Like a child
Goin wild
Like a child
If he cant have all that relates
To testify that he is great
Hell cut someone with a broken plate
Stand upon the subway grate
And smile
Goin wild
Goin wild
With a smile
Holy morning
Sun is up and someone
Here has lost his cups
The dawn is tattered all cut up
Goin wild
Like a mystic child
Like a mystic child
Sunday morning looking down from the rooftop
Goin wild with a smile
Mystic child
Top of the world hes got it made
Rings are gold, braids are jade
Jumped to the street, hes got it made
Goodbye, child
Goodbye, child
Mystic child
Goin wild
Like a mystic child
Goodbye
Goodbye
Goin wild, ah
Goin wild
Like a mystic child
Holy morning
Sun is up and someone
Going wild
Like a mystic, like a mystic, like a mystic -
- child
Goin-goin, goin-goin wild
Like a mystic child
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh
Jumped to the street

Find Your Self, Discover God

Find your self, discover God
And the truth you can't deny, I shall never die
Together we shall fly
You will find your God the only one
You are his begotten son
Beyond the mystic sky
I know that I can fly
And my soul shall follow the path
I paved wlone with love
You know the only thing I want is to love
How can I lie within you now ?
God of darkness, God of light,
In my soul day or night,
I ride the shadows, yet live in light and cry...
"If a man could pass through the paradise in a dream
and has a flower presented to him as a pledge
thus his soul had been here" (Nathaniel Hawthorne)
As I awaken from slumber my mind filled with sights unreal
My only wish is to see you lie
To make your soul forever fly
You will fly beyond the mystic sky
You will lie again with the lord, Allah !

Purpose In My Trial

Every minute, hour, every morning, He is with me into evening,
And He’s with me all night long, as He fills my heart with song,
A song that carries me all day, as I walk along that narrow way,
In the most trying time of my life, I’m led along by Jesus Christ.

The trial could be here to stay, but, Christ is with me every day,
And every day, He gives me hope, as The Lord helps me cope,
Though the times may look bleak, He helps me when I am weak,
In my weakness His power shows, as my strength in Him grows.

My hope is beyond what I know, as my Faith He allows to grow,
While His Spirit directs me above, all through the trial I speak of,
My trial that will not last forever, while God will forsake me never,
While I walk with Him earnestly, looking forward towards Eternity.

Though I am tried for a while, He helps me keep a cheerful smile,
From God’s peace, He put inside, as in Christ, my Savior I abide,
Through God’s strength and power, as I abide each day and hour,
Being a testimony, for all to see, of the Grace, Christ granted me.

It’s for God’s purpose that I’m here, so in my trial, I need not fear,
Or get weighed down in anxiety, as He knows what’s best for me,
For God, I am here as living proof, of God’s Power and His Truth,
A light, for those around my life, that they may know Jesus Christ.

LIFE and DEATH

You would know the secret of death;
But how shall you find it unless you seek it in life?
The owl whose night eyes are blind to daylight,
Cannot unveil the mystery of light.

If you yearn to see the spirit of death,
Open your heart wide to the wonder of life.
For life and death are one, even as a river and sea are one.

In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent,
Knowledge of the great beyond;
And like seeds dreaming ‘neath the snow,
Your heart dreams of spring.

Trust your dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.

Your fear of death is but the trembling subject,
Waiting to be honored by his king.
Is the subject not joyful beneath his trembling?
That he shall wear the mark of the king?
Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling?

For what is it to die but to stand naked,
In the wind and melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing,
But to free the breath from restless tides,
That it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you sing?
And when you have reached the mountain top,
Then you shall begin to climb!
And when the earth claims your limbs,
Then shall you truly dance.

But you beloved are life as well as the veil

God's Rest.

I saw God in a dream go by,
As if He trod the phantom air
Within a hushed eternity,
Dead worlds around Him everywhere.
No sign of life — and God asleep!
All things absorbed in Him at last;
Nothing for Him to care for, keep,
Since thought from everything had passed.
A mystic vision on its way
His image filled the awful gloom,
As if His work were o'er for aye —
Himself His own creation's tomb!
As if, when sleep fell on Him, all
Sensation with a tremor ceased,
As all things felt the weird recall,
And the gigantic strain released.
The worlds stayed still without a breath,
Entranced within the phantom air,
Since God had done with life and death
And ta'en Himself from everywhere.
This was His Sabbath. In the past
'Tis said He rested for a day;
But this was a sleep that would last,
Since He had done with all for aye.

Aurobindo 109 Savitri Book 7

An appreciation on Savitri-
Book Seven: The Book of Yoga
Canto Five: The Finding of the Soul
Words within inverted commas are Aurobindo's

'Onward she passed seeking the soul's mystic cave.
At first she stepped into a night of God.
The light was quenched that helps the labouring world,
The power that struggles and stumbles in our life; '
'All knowledge failed and the Idea's forms
And Wisdom screened in awe her lowly head
Feeling a Truth too great for thought or speech,
Formless, ineffable, for ever the same.'

'In a simple purity of emptiness
Her mind knelt down before the unknowable.'
'There was no strength in her, no pride of force; '
'A sacred darkness brooded now within,
The world was a deep darkness great and nude.'
'In endless Time her soul reached a wide end,
The spaceless Vast became her spirit's place.
At last a change approached, the emptiness broke;

A wave rippled within, the world had stirred;
Once more her inner self became her space.
'She recognised in her prophetic mind
The imperishable lustre of that sky,
The tremulous sweetness of that happy air
And, covered from mind's view and life's approach,
The mystic cavern in the sacred hill
And knew the dwelling of her secret soul.'

'Across the threshold's sleep she entered in
And found herself amid great figures of gods
Conscious in stone and living without breath,
Watching with fixed regard the soul of man,
Executive figures of the cosmic self,
World-symbols of immutable potency......

............My consciousness this moment,
O'Guru, I'm in awe....in invincible heights
Ineffable Thee embellishing poetic creation
My inquisitive apprehension, erring Thee may opine
May thereso, let Savitri in my self arise
Aroused thereso be knowledge and fortune

Mystic Rythms

So many things I think about
When I look far away
Things I know, Things I wonder
Thins I'd like to say.
The more we think we know about
The greater the unknown
We suspend our disbelief
And we are not alone.
Mystic rhythms, capture my thoughts
And carry them away
Mysteries of night
Escape the light of day
Mystic rhythms, under northern lights
Or the African sun
Primitive things stir the hearts of everyone.
We sometimes catch a window
A glimpse of what's beyond
Was it just imagination
Stringing us along?
More things than are dreamed about
Unseen and unexplained
We suspend our disbelief
And we are entertained.
Mystic rhythms, capture my thoughts
And carry them away
Nature seems to spin
A supernatural way.
Mystic rhythms, under city lights
Or a canopy of stars.
We feel the powers and we wonder what they are.
Mystic rhythms, capture my thoughts
And carry them away
Mysteries of night
Escape the light of day
Mystic rhythms, under northern lights
Or a canopy of start
We feel the push and pull of restless rhythms from afar.

Aurobindo 31-Savitri-Book -2

An appreciation on Savitri
Book II The Book of the Traveller of the Worlds
Canto V The Godheads of the Little Life
Words within inverted commas are Aurobindo's

'A spirit that perished not with the body and breath
Was there like a shadow of the Unmanifest
And stood behind the little personal form
But claimed not yet this earthly embodiment.'
'A Wisdom governing the mystic world,
A Silence listening to the cry of Life, '..
'It locks in our hearts a voice we cannot hear.'
A mystic impinging from a mystic ineffable

'Transient creations point and hit the sky: '
'Our reason cannot sound life's mighty sea
And only counts its waves and scans its foam;
It knows not whence these motions touch and pass,
It sees not whither sweeps the hurrying flood:
Unseen here act dim huge world-energies
And only trickles and currents are our share.
Concealment is what else than providence..

'Our acts emerge from a crypt our minds ignore.
Our deepest depths are ignorant of themselves; '
'In the subterranean reaches of the spirit
A puissance acts and recks not what it means; '
'Using unthinking monitors and scribes,
It is the cause of what we think and feel.'
We are the causers visoning with a blind heart
We are the causers acting with a dead soul..

'A whisper falls into life's inner ear
And echoes from the dun subconscient caves,
Speech leaps, thought quivers, the heart vibrates, the will
Answers and tissue and nerve obey the call.'
'All is the commerce of a secret Power.
A thinking puppet is the mind of life: '...
