My Philharmonic Orchestra and the Soliloquy
I play the miraculous Cello and the Tambourine too.
And my beloved plays rest of the instruments on & off!
And also she does Soprano.
In our hard times when hunger invades the band
She sings in her high pitch
And my fiddle gives the saddest tune of the Life
In its base rhythm of the Violin family!
Though it's bitter and melancholy
We play ourselves and listen together
As the Audience left the Theater earlier.

The Last Cheaters Waltz

She was going to pieces when he walked in the door
She had to see him she cant wait no more
Tonight shell be with him no matter the cost
As the band plays the last cheaters waltz
And oooooooohh dont they play lonely
Oooooooohh dont they play sad
Oooooooohh three quarter only
See how he holds her
As the band plays the last cheaters waltz
He tells her he loves her as the music plays on
He tells he loves her but someones at home
The ball games all over and she knows shes lost
As the band plays the last cheaters waltz
And oooooooohh dont they play lonely
Oooooooohh dont they play sad

The Old Country Waltz
They were playing that old country waltz
In this empty bar echoin off the wall.
When I first got the bad news that you set me free,
The band played the old country waltz to me.
Well, I loved, and I lost, and I cried
The day that the two of us died.
Aint got no excuses, I just want to ride
While the band plays the old country waltz.
Out the window the moon shines
On the roofs of the cars
While I knock down tequila and salt
And the band plays the old country waltz.
And were playin it, that old country waltz
In this empty bar echoin off the wall.
Aint got no excuses, we just want to play
That good old country waltz.
I aint got no excuses, I just want to play
That good old country waltz.
That good old country waltz.

To Vanessa Mae
after the fiddle in the wildest harmonies
of your classical violin
please come to my room and fiddle
the best of all the best songs
the base, the tip of my top, the
giggle of the gigs inside my
underwear, there is this fire
that damns me to an eternal longing
this madness not anymore bound
to a second fiddle. play me, please.

Waltz Into Mischief
The latest and greatest
Amazing arrival
No conscience no shame
For the game of survival
Theives and villians
And fraudulent swindlers
Gathered in tribute
With masks of respect
A big hand hooray
Oh come all ye trustful
Let the band play
A waltz into mischief
The chairman is speaking
Instructs the apprentice
All faces are turned
To the wizard of sentence
Years of experience
Fall from his tongue
Like teardops to puddles
They ripple among
A big hand hooray
Oh come all ye trustful
Let the band play
A waltz into mischief
This king of the cowboys
Holds fast his deception
Rides their misgivings
To rapturous reception
Calls on the crowd
Of white pointed heads
To check under carpets
(while were in our beds? )
A big hand hooray
Oh come all ye trustful
Let the band play
A waltz into mischief
A big hand hooray
Oh come all ye trustful
Let the band play
A waltz into mischief
A big hand hooray
Oh come all ye trustful
Let the band play
A waltz into mischief

Dum Dum Diddle
I can hear how you work, practising hard
Playing night and day, woah-oh
And it sounds better now
Yes, you improve every time you play, woah-oh
But its bad
Youre so sad
And youre only smiling
When you play your violin
Dum-dum-diddle, to be your fiddle
To be so near you and not just hear you
Dum-dum-diddle, to be your fiddle
I think then maybe youd see me, baby
Youd be mine
And wed be together all the time
Wish I was, dum-dum-diddle, your darling fiddle
But I think you dont know that I exist
Im the quiet kind, woah-oh
From the day when I first listened to you
Youve been on my mind, woah-oh
You dont care
Its not fair
And youre only smiling
When you play your violin
Dum-dum-diddle, to be your fiddle
To be so near you and not just hear you
Dum-dum-diddle, to be your fiddle
I think then maybe youd see me, baby
Youd be mine
And wed be together all the time
Dum-dum-diddle, to be your fiddle
To be so near you and not just hear you
Dum-dum-diddle, to be your fiddle
I think then maybe youd see me, baby
Youd be mine
And wed be together all the time
Wish I was, dum-dum-diddle, your darling fiddle

Rubber Band
Rubber band
Theres a rubber band that plays tunes out of tune
In the library garden sunday afternoon
While a little chappie waves a golden wand
Rubber band
In 1910 I was so handsome and so strong
My moustache was stiffly waxed and one foot long
And I loved a girl while you played teatime tunes
Dear rubber band, youre playing my tune out of tune
Oh
Rubber band
Wont you play a haunting theme again to me
While I eat my scones and drink my cup of tea
The sun is warm but its a lonely afternoon
Oh, play that theme
Rubber band
How I wish that I could join your rubber band
We could play in lively parks throughout the land
And one sunday afternoon, Id find my love
Rubber band,
In the 14-18 war I went to sea
Thought my sunday love was waiting home for me
And now shes married to the leader of the band, oh
Oh yeah... I hope you break your baton

The soprano has all those other instruments in it. It's got the soprano song voice, flute, violin, clarinet, and tenor elements and can even approach the baritone in intensity.

Of course the most difficult thing on the violin is always intonation. The second one is rhythm. If you play in tune, in time with a good sound that's already high level. Those three are the main things.

Violin
Four strings across the bridge,
Ready to carry me over,
Over the quavers, drunk in the bars,
Out of the realm of the orchestra,
Out of the realm of the orchestra.
Filling me up with the shivers.
Filling me up with the shivers and quivers.
Filling me up with the shivers.
Get the bow going!
Let it scream to me:
Violin! violin! violin!
Get the bow going!
Let it scream to me:
Violin! violin! violin!
Paganini up on the chimney,
Lord of the dance,
With nero and old nicky.
Whack that devil
Into my fiddlestick!
Give me the banshees for b.v.s,*
Give me the banshees for b.v.s.
Jigging along with the fiddle, oh, johnny.
Jigging along with the fiddle-dee-dee.
Jigging along with the fiddle, oh, johnny.
Jigging along with the fiddle-dee-diddle-dee-dee!
Get the bow going!
Let it scream to me:
Violin! violin! violin!
Get the bow going!
Let it scream to me:
Violin! violin! violin!
Get the bow going!
Let it scream to me:
Violin! violin! violin!
Get the bow going!
Let it scream to me:
Violin! violin! violin!

Sogno
A blind man
has a beard
uncut for days
for weeks
confused and
abandoned,
he begs in the
streets of his
misfortune
with his cane
as his guide
with his can
as begging
symbolism
i take him in
bathe him and
dress him and
feed him like
he is my only
brother
at night as i
begin to play
the saddest tune
of my violin
he sings an
aria for me
together we
dream
my eyes see for him
his heart sees for me.

Chick Magnet
Don’t play the cello if you want
to be a magnet for the chicks,
a guy who on guitar strings picks
is thought be far more gallant.
I learnt this fact from Yo-Yo Ma,
who probably believes that poets
have also far more luck with coeds
than cellists. Maybe many are,
but I am not, unfortunate
with poems as he is with cello.
I wish I were a magnet fellow,
and made the chicks importunate,
first for my poems, then my bod,
but since I don’t play the guitar,
my life is black as café noir,
and I am lonelier than God.
Charlie Rose on December 3,2008 interviewed Yo-Yo Ma, who accompanied on his cello the singer and songwriter from North Carolina, James Taylor, who also plays the guitar. Yo Yo explained that he has played the cello since the age of three, and that this has not made him a chick magnet. James Taylor started off by playing the cello but gave it up for the guitar, which Yo-Yo considers a wise decision.

Crazy Dave
He fronts the band so tall he stands his name is crazy Dave
He fronts the band this tall thin man his name is crazy Dave
Like a snake he moves to rock he groove yes that’s crazy Dave
He’s a rock man who fronts the band
He’s the rock man with the band
Play. Play. Play crazy Dave
Its rock and roll played from his sole
he’s scared to make a mistake
As he twists and turns the music burns
and the crowd start to rave.
Its all the same in his brain
As he plays guitar for fun
The riffs he strums as his guitar hums
Play. Play. Play. crazy Dave
The sounds are high his stings cry
As he hit those high notes
A C D C aerosmith petty and status quo
Crazy Dave had to be brave as he played his rock and role
Play. Play. Play crazy Dave

Roll Over Beethoven
Gonna write a little letter gonna mail it to me local d.j.
Its a jumpin little record I want my jockey to play
Roll over beethoven, gotta hear it again today
My temperatures risin, the juke boxs blowin a fuse
My hearts beatin a rhythm, singin out rhythm and blues
Roll over beethoven, theyre rockin in two by two
Well if you feel you like it, go get your lover and reel and rock it
Roll it over and move on up now, go for cover and reel and rock it
Roll it over, roll over beethoven, tell tchaikovsky the news
Early in the mornin Im a givin you the warnin,
Dont you step on my blue suede shoes
Hey diddle diddle gonna play my fiddle,
I aint got nothing to lose
Roll over beethoven, tell tchaikovsky the news
She wiggles like a glow-worm, dances like a spinning top
She got a crazy partner, you should have seen her reel and rock
Long as she got a dime, the music will never stop
Well if you feel you like it, go get your lover and reel and rock it
Roll it over and move on up now, go for cover and reel and rock it
Roll it over, roll over beethoven, dig these rhythm and blues
Roll over beethoven, roll over beethoven,
Roll over beethoven, roll over beethoven,
Roll over beethoven, dig these rhythm and blues?

Sing Me A Swing Song
Give me a song that's robust
Feeling the way I am
Any old band'll go bust
If it ain't got that jam
When a body needs a body
On the ballroom floor
Then a body asks a body
"What's a swing band for?"
Oh baby, I don't want you
To croon soft and mellow
Let me warn you in advance,
Sing me a swing song and let me dance
Oh baby, I don't want
Any moon, bright and yellow
You can have your sweet romance
Sing me a swing song and let me dance
Mr. Trombone, play some corn
I ain't carin' what notes
Mr. Trumpet, grab a horn
Brother, give me hot notes
Oh baby, I don't want
Any tune, on a cello
Give the rhythm men a chance
Sing me a swing song and let me dance
instrumental interlude
Let me warn you in advance,
Sing me a swing song and let me dance
You can have your sweet romance, just
Sing me a swing song and let me dance
Mr. Trombone, play some corn
I ain't carin' what notes
Mr. Trumpet, grab a horn
Brother, give me hot notes
Oh baby, I don't want
Any tune, on a cello
Give the rhythm men a chance
Sing me a swing song and let me dance
Ol' Chick Webb is beatin' it out
Makes me feel like I want to shout
All the boys are ready to prance, so
Sing me a swing song and let me dance

To See Life As A Riddle
Life,
Is what we make it.
But some will sit,
To see life as a riddle.
And life...
Some choose to fake it.
With a doing that's believed,
They can be freed of mistakes.
Yet life,
Is what we make it.
But some will sit,
To see life as a riddle.
Some people have a need,
To play life second fiddle.
Out of tune,
And afraid of taking risks.
Some people live,
Afraid of taking chances...
With dismissing most of it!
Yet life,
Is what we make it.
But some will sit,
As if it is a riddle.
Life,
Is what we make it.
Yet some will sit,
Just to play it second fiddle.
And some will see life,
With no middle but a riddle.
Yes some will sit,
Just to play life second fiddle.

Keys Of Memory~6191
Memory
Plays the keys
Of my heart
Just like a Baby Grand
The melody-the tune
All off key
In an orchestra
Of fine tuned instruments
I follow the music
With my minds eye
To where-ever it leads me
And into the depths of Ballads
Of 'HeartBreak'
I, at last find myself
Locked-tethered-chained
To memories, bitter and sweet
Despairing and off key with no
Harmony, in the least
A re-write is in order, STAT
A re-play-a fine tuning, immediately
A re-awakening, a re-newing-NOW:
Of Hope
Of Hope That Sings
You know, that feeling, with wings

Rock n Roll Is King
Listen everybody let me tell you bout the rock n roll
Feel that rhythm and its really gonna thrill your soul
She said come along with me, to a land of make believe
She said rock n roll is king
She loves that rock n roll and she plays it all night long
Thats all she ever tells me when I call her on the telephone
She says feel that jumpin beat, and git up on your feet
She says rock n roll is king
Chorus: oh let those guitars play
Play for me play for me
Oh let that song ring out
Thats how its meant to be
It rolls like a train thats comin on down the track
She rolled over beethoven and she gave tchaikovsky back
She loves that drivin beat, she goes dancin on down the street
She said rock n roll is king
Chorus
When she comes around and Im listenin to the radio
She says you cant do that cause all I wanna do is rock n roll
Now here Im gonna stay where that music starts to play
She says rock n roll is king

Listen To The Band
Hey, hey, mercy woman plays a song and no one listens,
I need help Im falling again.
Play the drum a little louder,
Tell me I can live without her
If I only listen to the band.
Listen to the band!
Werent they good, they made me happy.
I think I can make it alone.
Oh, mercy woman plays a song and no one listens,
I need help Im falling again.
Play the drum a little bit louder,
Tell them they can live without her
If they only listen to the band.
Listen to the band!
Now werent they good, they made me happy.
I think I can make it alone.
Oh, woman plays a song and no one listens,
I need help Im falling again.
Cmon, play the drums just a little bit louder,
Tell us we can live without her
Now that we have listened to the band.
Listen to the band!

Play For Me My Beloved Guitar
Play for me my beloved guitar
A Love Song for my Dearest whose heart is filled with hurt;
With your strings of gold
Pluck out all her troubles from old
Play for me my beloved guitar
A Ballad for my Son whose life is full of uncertainties;
With your tunes so mellow
To a straight path let him follow
Play for me my beloved guitar
A Lullaby for my Daughter whose life is full of struggles;
With your sound so sweet
Into life's hurdles let her succeed
Play for me my beloved guitar
A Sonnet for my Brothers whose lives seem to be so hard;
With your timbre so soft
Into difficulties let them keep up
Play for me my beloved guitar
A Gospel for the World full of hatred and war;
With your resonance so pleasant
Chaos and crimes be gone
Play for me my beloved guitar
An Ode for My Soul full of burdens of the above;
With your lovely tunes and my dexterous fingers
Healing, inspiring, uplifting, motivating and peaceful songs, we will play together.
