A scampering run in labyrinth
Bilaterally, they started their journey.
But there is no any trace of ancestors.
Their tombs covered with grass.
We grass roots continue our journey.
It seems that according to a certain order by a hidden enforcement?
The old coloured lodgings here & there with their brassy new names.
We stay a night or two then proceed onwards.
The conviction in everybody's mind that hides the careworn?
We pretend as perfect but we are the carbon copies of our hazy Ancestries.

How To Deal With A Very Beautiful Disciple
she comes like a princess from the
a castle high up there on those blue clouds
descending from the sun
down to the mountains
and the rivers
and to this
pond
i am the grass, and she wants to lie down with me
so i can teach her about what, i ask, about poetry she says,
no there is no poetry with me for
i am the grass, and you signal the wind so you may leave at once
and be back to the arms of the heavens
but i think a while and change my mind for i am the grass
and i am a teacher of all mankind, those who want to die and be
covered with my hands, and those who want to stay and be
with my greeness, my softness and i in humility whispers to her
my princess, stay with me for a while, lie with me, and sleep with me
under the moon, the darkness of the night shall be our blanket,
my thick leaves of grass, your pillow,
i am the grass, i may not teach you what poetry is,
what i have is to spread
love and togetherness, and intimacy that i have with the soil
my secrets with the worms, my eternity
with what death has concealed from the eyes of your world.

“The Journey Called Life”
From where I have started to where will I end,
The journey has been long, winding and tiring.
From nothing to something… it has never been an easy adventure.
I have been tried with luck; tried with hard works;
I am tried with pains and heartaches too…
I have found love and lost it… I have found new one, I’ve tried to keep it.
I have found friends and only few remains,
I have found money, but it never really stays.
The lesson of journey is uncontainable.
I want to move on as life is moving on…
I wish to move on with it, I want to go on its flow.
To an unpredictable journey called life,
Walking alone in this path, with guts and determination.
By God’s grace and guidance.
I want to continue the journey once more…
A journey where people would remember me
As a lady who won a million smiles and conquer goodbyes.
I keep on taking my unavoidable journey in this deep blue sea with struggles and hopes.
Until one day, my journey will bring me to my destiny, that’s then that I will be home.

Moorland Night
My face is against the grass - the moorland grass is wet -
My eyes are shut against the grass, against my lips there are the little blades,
Over my head the curlews call, And now there is the night wind in my hair;
My heart is against the grass and the sweet earth, - it has gone still, at last;
It does not want to beat any more,
And why should it beat?
This is the end of the journey.
The Thing is found.
This is the end of all the roads -
Over the grass there is the night-dew
And the wind that drives up from the sea along the moorland road,
I hear a curlew start out from the heath
And fly off calling through the dusk,
The wild, long, rippling call -:
The Thing is found and I am quiet with the earth;
Perhaps the earth will hold it or the wind, or that bird's cry,
But it is not for long in any life I know. This cannot stay,
Not now, not yet, not in a dying world, with me, for very long;
I leave it here:
And one day the wet grass may give it back -
One day the quiet earth may give it back -
The calling birds may give it back as they go by -
To someone walking on the moor who starves for love and will not know
Who gave it to all these to give away;
Or, if I come and ask for it again
Oh! then, to me.

Upon Our Journey
Upon our Journey many fruitful trees we shall pass.
How are we ever know our favourite to taste
If we are forever wasting the present indulging
In a taste we have already relegated to a memory inducing nostalgia?
Only when striding onwards will we ever know for sure
That no cure for our hearts ailments lay upon the fruit tree
Beyond the horizon – We can always journey backwards
If we are convinced the fruits we left will never be tasted
With such sweet Joy again – But know that it will forever
Toy upon your mind if you do not seek to find a fruit unknown
To your heart. So hard it is to start again and allow the ghost
Of a memories fading to pass without a sigh – So hard it is to
Part with the skies that have kept us sane for so long now it should
Pain us to consider a lifetime without the fruit we have come to know
Yet we must continue upon our journey – Evermore we must flow.

Wetness
Dewdrops on the sweet grass
sparkling in the sun,
every little droplet,
every last one
bathes each tiny blade of grass
in the early morn.
Does its wondrous work of joy
as the day is born.
Evaporates and is satisfied
with its job performed.
Goes back to where it's come from
and in someway is transformed
awaiting its precious journey
to once again caress
the leafy wonder on the grass
with its dewy
wetness.

A broken journey
Alone in the night
I listen to the wind
I want to runaway
Just get out of my skin
There’s a piece of heaven in the center of the woods
But somehow we’re warped into “oh I wish I could’s”
I wish I could take the pain you feel away
Peel away the layers and just remain bare
I wish you could stay
I wish I could call your name and you’ll be there
I wish I could tell you that I’m scared
I wish that this broken journey will take my pain
I wish I could disappear
I wish this broken journey would become clear
I wish you were here
To rest in my mind
I wish you were mine
I wish I could look into your eyes
Hear your hearts melody
Tear myself from this broken journey
Be with you my one and only
Unfortunately
We are on this broken journey

For Everyone The Life Journey
For everyone the life journey is different though a journey that for all of us must end
Along the way we meet some who do not like us But we also do make many a good friend
And on the journey we learn many lessons we've been learning from life since before we did crawl
And every day we live in life for us a lesson and that applies to you and me and all
And on our life journey we make many mistakes and for every one of them some price to pay
But we must struggle onwards towards the finish and every dawning for us a new day
For many life's road more uphill than downhill it is a hard journey to undertake
We have the good days and we have the bad days and every dawn to a new challenge we wake
Tomorrow is another day they will tell you and tomorrow in it's own good time will come
But tomorrow will not be for everybody today's will be the last sunset for some
For every one of us life's journey is different so different for you as it is for me
And our thinking on most things are quite different we all look at life so very differently
For everyone the life journey has to end sometime but where or when we are not meant to know
For some it will end before they reach their prime years and for some when they are walking slow.

We All Are Only Here
We all are only here on a life's journey
A journey that will have an end one day
A journey that for all will have an ending
Whether we travel far from home or at home stay.
The reaper is the champion egalatarian
For he treats everybody as the same
He does not bow to president or monarch
Or draw distinctions between anonymity and fame.
Humans are not that different to other life forms
Since we too are only born for to die
The woodlouse who hides under a stone in the garden
In many ways no less a mortal than i.
So many people weighted down by their egos
Success is a thing that can go to the head
But the reaper is the renowned egalatarian
You will not find any egos amongst the dead.
We all are only here on a life's journey
A journey for us one day that must end
Till the reaper claims the last breath of life from us
The reaper to equality a friend.

Uprising Roots
Uprising roots,
Blue grass in the sky;
Uprising roots,
Love under the sea;
Uprising roots,
In the deep!
White in white and,
Black in black;
But, underrated by your love.
Seven years of hope!
On the blue mountains;
And to take up a trip to let it show,
But, life is like a journey to us all.
The roots of life,
To put the stereo on!
But, i have a long way to go.

Death Angel in my eyes
In this hat of the ancestors sacrifice,
In this hurt of the spirit of my conscience,
I go because I must leave to feast with the legends,
I am leaving the shining African valleys, agents
I must leave, do not lament, you will rune my journey,
May I put down my soul’s tools?
I am famous in keens and tours of the African land,
Near and far they breathe my prominence,
I was acknowledged by all; traditional herbalist, scientist,
Clowns, technicians, artists, rascals, workers
Lazybones of noble African land but out of the rest;
I need no company from any of them,
May I put down my soul’s tools?
This journey is my specific unaccompanied,
Thought were made; the good and the bad,
The were many wishes and dream to life,
My ambition were still burning to bust achievement
Target were made, jobs already started, the were
Many jokes to crack but it is now beyond schedule
The juice was worth the squeeze, I am
Ready to go and live with my ancestors,
May I put down my soul’s tools?
My past give me a dark journey; rushing my road
Sweeping my soul, winding way, blinding my journey
For my past mistakes and hates, habits,
Blights and greed’s, out of my past come
This dark journey to death but this not
A journey of choice, may I put my soul’s tools?

Greasy Grass River
Written by: r. robinson & c. robinson
Now Im swimming in the greasy grass river
On my way to the black pearl sea
Yeah Im floating down the greasy grass river
Come one child come with me
Life is so easy on greasy grass river
Just take my hand and we can pretend to be free
You wanna be
Free
Come on with me
Take me down to the greasy grass river
Wash my hands where the water is clean
Lay me down by the greasy grass river
And unfold my mystery
The greasy grass river has water that whispers
Lets listen closely while
She says she wants to be free
You wanna be
Free
You know what I mean?
Outro:
Im out of my pocket and Im out on my mind
Im out of my pocket and Im out on my mind
Im out of my pocket and Im out on my mind
Im out of my pocket and Im out on my mind

The Junction
The ways…
They are getting clearer.
The moments are suggesting,
you go on
without looking back.
My mind says,
follow me…
I'll guide you
through the darkness.
I'll show you
the way to succes.
My heart says,
follow me instead…
I'll give you
happiness.
I ask myself
Doesn't success bring
happiness?
Doesn't money bring you
happiness?
Isn't it the way,
the right way to proceed?
To lead yourself through?
There was one time…
A time,
when it was
so simple.
It was clear then…
But now,
it's a mere blur.
Blur of so much ways…
A junction.
I must choose…
Before I continue,
my journey,
An expedition,
through unknown depths…
A journey,
through my mind.

Journey through the furnace.
Many were called
But few were chosen
Into the call of academic glory
The journey many started
Ended with but a few.
7 scores and a decade*
Started the journey towards greatness
On the same path and terrace.
Some took another route
Some fell out fortuitously
4 scores and a half decade*
Got to the end of the road.
We who ended are no better
Than we who started the journey
In this great academia
With moral prison yards
And religious bigotry.
Those who have fallen out
Or, rather
Taken another route
Shall forever remain in our heart
As we end this journey
And close this phase of our life
Taking a bold step
Into the universal city
Of the world beyond…

A Penny for a Tick
If the dreams come true how beautiful the ugliest life!
The slippery Zig Zag road ends at the village Manor
And we got down, myself & wife from our tumbledown car!
It's a small drizzle and a Twilight
The Sun offs for the day it seems.
The Baron and the Baroness happy with us
For their advertisement in the Pennysaver
And he says; ' You are the ideal couple we expected
And really satisfied by seeing you! '
Wife makes different names of spicy meals
And cleans the household things.
The two Doberman familiar with me
And I pluck their ticks a penny for each.
Cut their high grass in the lawn
And night I read my poems.
The kind Baron offers me a Cuban cigar and a nightcap
And now I don't steal pennies from my beloved's piggy till.
In the night she wears her old nightgowns
And she looks like the Baroness!
I do marketing; Rides the Harley Davidson
That belongs to the Baron's one & only son
Who lives in a different state.
At the backyard there're scattered old tombs
And I guess their ancestors.
Secretly I tell my beloved; 'Darling this is the final roost of our Gypsy journey
And one day they bury us here, We must send the address to our loved ones
Perhaps their offspring win the Green Card Lottery and visit our graves some day! '
To my dearest poet friend Paddy Martin who undergoes a surgery and my blessings for his immediate recovery.

Let this be your journey
Air blowing in our faces
So many different places
I’m going to show you the world
Like you have never seen it before
Walk you through each door
Getting ready to soar
Oh how there is so much more
Showing you how to let it out
Showing the world what you’re all about
Hold my hand
Life is its own marching band
Here you become what you’re suppose to be
You think you can’t but you can
This is your chance to make it
Make it all that you want
Smile hold tight
Everything is all right
This will last more than all night
Let this journey be your entire life’s memory
Let this journey say being true to yourself, is the greatest memory
Let this journey say, anything is possible
And let this journey stay
Never fade away
Let this be your journey

My Awesome Journey
My journey
started
the day
we met.
All my
hopes
and
dreams
became
reality
in your
being.
so sweet,
endearing,
so caring.
Once again
I was
taught
trust and
and
love
completely.
As my
shadow
you
still
walk
beside
me.
encouraging
stay on
course
an awesome
journey,
yet so
brief.

Journey to Be
I think I'll journey out some day to wondrous lands afar,
Or even chart a journey to a distant blazing star.
But rest assured that when my journey begs to take its cue,
Always know that when I go, this journey takes you too.
We'll start our journey out from here by horse and cart of old,
The seaside docks - and journey pauses - where we shall behold
A noble schooner for the journey primed to launch as planned:
To sail with dolphins cross the seas then journey back on land.
And so our journey goes by foot to conquer mountains tall:
A chapter hence the journey reached, with scenes that should enthral.
But when we tire, let's rest our journey, stretched in fields of flowers,
And bathe atop the mountain from the journey - autumn showers!
Refreshed, our journey takes a turn - we'll venture back for home,
But first we'll let the journey take a tangent just to roam.
And in the winding route, this journey's bound to bide content,
But most of all take heed - let's make our journey life's event.

Journey Again
At times in our journey
We reach place with lot of greenery
Lovely place to stay for long
Good people to be with for life
But when seasons change
And wind changes its direction
We need to set out on our journey again
To a journey that never concludes
As I stand looking as far as I could see in the direction of road ahead
Series of events roll down my memory lane
And tears dropp from my eyes
And a question arises is it all worth the challenges ahead?
But in the end you need to win over your emotions
Win over your doubts
And continue the journey again
In the direction of Sun
As you pursue the journey again guarding against all odds
Putting all your learning in practice
Ensuring mistakes not repeated
Dreams are achieved
But you know that life has in store new lessons to teach you.
And new places to take you.
So loosen your belts; set your wings far & wide
And let the winds take you to places

REST STOPS (In Life's Journey)
When our days are packed to the full
When our faith is clouded with doubts
When we feel our journey is nonsense
When we feel we work for nothing
When our life is killed with boredom
Or just let the time pass idly by,
We will walk through life aimlessly
Unless we take rest stops.
Rest stops
Instances when we ponder
We ponder on the journey of our lives
Our success, our failures
Before God, we will bring them all
And let it be lessons learned
Rising from our rest stops
With hearts renewed
With new confidence
We will continue our journey
With a new life, a new beginning.
When we are tired
Lets take our rest stops
And rise again, continue the journey
A life change for the better
A journey change forever.

On Your Darkest Night
nothing more for me to say
than a silent 'i love you',
standing beside you,
whatever comes!
your life, your journey,
but a part of the sweetness,
-most likely the middle,
both mine and yours...
burned by choice
on the altar of sacrifice...
feeding the fire
that whispered
our hidden names....
so deep inside that
it permeates breath...
and stinks like damp earth
just plowed in the spring....
your life, your journey, ...
i am but the bridge,
the walking stick, the pack....
the shelter made of
fresh cut branches stacked....
the light of the moon
on your darkest night!
