Strong Points

To perceive astounds my life of love,
Stars happen on the event of my eye.
Strong travel has passed, and torture
Is passed, and future is passed,
The past will be passed,
As time, the fifty-ninth dimension,
Shall fully tug at the strong mind,
Alien after alien entered for me.
The perception is strong, stronger for the
Points taken, a nature of strength
Is any when.

We Will Be Strong

Pity the fool
Its hard but he broke a rule
And that isnt done
Somehow, someday, brother will use a gun
Just walking the town
Just painting it sad
Its bringing me down
Its driving me mad
Woman is away from me
We will be strong, we will be strong
I know we have the strength to carry on
We have the strength
I know my rights from wrong
I know youve lost Ive won
We will be stronger
We will be strong
And getting stronger every day
Believe me when I say it
There is no other way to convey it
No other way you clown
Your thoughtfulness has brought us down
And that isnt right
That we should walk alone on the streets at night
Just checking the time
Walking that very fine line
The humour is black
The plan is attack
Now woman is away from me
But we will be strong
We will be strong, we will be strong
I know we have the strength to carry on
We have the strength
I know my rights from wrong
I know youve lost Ive won
We will be stronger
We will be strong
And getting stronger every day
Believe me when I say it
There is no other way to convey it
Down on your luck
The shock it has struck
The weak ones will die
The questions are why? why?
Does anybody hear?
Does anybody understand?
Let me make it clear
Nows the time to take a stand
Now woman is away from me
But we will make it strong
We will be strong, we will be strong

Dooms Day

Many a times
I passed through trouble
Many a times
I passed through pain
I was exploited
I was was humiliated
I was condemned
I was consumed by mystery
My wings were taken
So i couldn't fly
All i eat all day was my cry
I asked myself why
And there came a voice saying
In your affliction
Will you learn right
In your oppression
Will you rise how to fight
The sun shines at day
And stars at night
Arise and see the light
After six comes seven
I passed through hell
Before i could see heaven
I did not know that my worries
Will lead me to my haven
Many times
I passed through trouble
Many a times
I passed through pain

In A Windowpane

I looked into a windowpane
Last evening in a city far away
I was feelin sad and blue
I wondered then if I should really stay
Wanting someone to be with me in the light of this uncertain time
Waiting by the window for the man inside
To please make up his mind
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Never knowing never feeling anything
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
I walked along the roadway to a fountain
Where lovers come to meet
A hobo walked up to me, I could tell
He didnt have enough to eat
He said, good sir you look so kind
And though the years have stripped me to the bone
It seems I am the better man
For in this place Ive never walked alone
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Never knowing never feeling anything
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Where will you be, my friendly, when your
Telephone aint givin out no calls
And when the seasons come to haunt you
Will you still find springtime in the fall
And when youre on your island
Will you wave at every ship that passes by
And will you feed a hungry man
I thank you, sir,
Now Ill just say goodbye
Dont you be one who passed through but never saw
Never knowing never feeling anything
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw

The Storms Have Passed

the days are getting cloudy for me,
storm clouds over my head,
so dark, i can barely see,
the storms have passed by me.

the swetness of life, has passed me by,
of my life, the storms have went,
and i look forward to when i die,
the storms have passed me by.

of the Lord, i'll meet and see,
to be with Him, ever more,
and there, i'll never need to plea
the storms have passed by me.

The Old Year

IT PASSED like the breath of the night-wind away,
It fled like a mist at the dawn of the day;
It lasted its moment, then backward was hurled,
Another increase to the age of the world.

It passed with its shadows, its smiles and its tears,
It passed as a stream to the ocean of years;
Years that were coming—were here—and are o’er,
The ages departed to visit no more.

It passed, but the bark on its billowy track
Leaves an impression on waters aback:
The glow of the gloaming remains on the sky,
Unwilling to leave us—unwilling to die.

It fled; but away and away in its wake
There lingers a something that time cannot break.
The past and the future are joined by a chain,
And memories live that must ever remain.

I Was So Lucky

Its no secret Ive been waiting
But I didnt expect this
Nothing will remain
Nothing stays the same
After you came
Its no secret Ive been starving
I never felt anything for years
I sat up all night
Just to watch your smile
When youre sleeping
I was so lucky you came by
And turned a different corner
I couldve been somewhere else
You couldve passed by, couldve passed by
Come on and sail the sea with me
Come on, lets go around the world
Maybe find a flat
Or a canyon house
For the season
I was so lucky you came by
And turned a different corner
It couldve been someone else
You had in mind
I was so lucky you found me
My rags turned gold and silver
I couldve been somewhere else
You couldve passed by, couldve passed by
What would you make of this, my baby?
The sun through the trees
Is there a better place to be?
I was so lucky you came by
And turned a different corner
It could have been someone else
You had in mind, oh my
I was so lucky you picked me
My trash turned to silver
Yea, I could have been somewhere else
You couldve passed by, couldbe passed by

No more grief

It is humane to cry over split milk
Can not afford for cotton still long for silk
Exactly opposite to the God’s will
No happiness and contentment still

No dead can be brought to life
Same can happen with your dearest wife
One departed means once for all
No use of crying over it and wishing for recall

It is nature’s cycle and inevitable
Even though we may be strong and capable
So many things we can do or attain
But the past events are difficult to maintain

Many might have glorious past
The life would have been easy and spent very fast
They might have lived with colorful situation
They would have wished too for its permanent continuation

It is not easy to forget passed events
They might have passed as fast movement
No one can reel back the time
It has gone off and not remained as prime

It should not have any bearing on future
As no one is confident and very much sure
The past can be buried and present can be pushed
Careful planning for future and not to be rushed

The past is hunting you like grave wound
The is not with you or can never be found
It keeps you restless and does not allow you to rest
There will be no use shedding tears and not trying best

As the cloak can not be pushed back
So the time and fortune can not be brought back too
The lesson must be taken from it to go ahead
Certainly the uncertainty must be over and fears must be allayed

It is advised not to worry so much
Things can not be brought back as such
It is thing of past and must be treated
As by gone is by gone and purpose is defeated

It will be futile attempt to live under fallacy
You will be helpless and live under mercy
You must come out of past shock
As the time go on ticking in clock

It is natural to be alert on your part
It is normal way and no body can depart
It you cling to old things and do not forgo
There won’t be any place left to go

So try to be flexible and possibly adjust
It is very much essential and must
One should remain vigilant all the time and be careful
It is going to be very much useful

Just Passing Time

Passing time,
Time passes.
And longing for times past.
With no pastime,
I think of past times.
Times of joy.
Sorrowful times.
Layered.
Like an alluvial plain,
I am inundated, flooded.
As the past floods in
Passing by the inner eye
I time travel.
Bad thoughts by passed
Passed all thought
They pass away.
Pass into the past
To lie again quiescent
A timely demise
For times past.

My First Love

For no reason at all she came into my thoughts and dreams
I don’t know why, I haven’t seen her since she was seventeen.
She brought with her forgotten memories I thought had gone,
but they’re still there to think about and to touch upon.

The happy and sad times that we both lived through
as teenage lovers with passions so strong and true.
We lived and breathed for each other every moment of the day,
and our hearts would break if we had to spend time away.

So strong was our love, we would have died for each other,
we experienced every emotion that was possible together.
My insane jealous nature eventually forced us to part
it left us with sadness and our first broken heart.

At the time there was nothing else worth living for,
but time heals and I found another love to adore.
Looking back, my first true love is still special to me,
we discovered what love was and how it should be.

And whenever she comes to mind I think back and smile,
and thank her for the memories that are so worthwhile.
The postman put a letter through the letterbox today
it said that my first love had recently passed away.

Even though she’s left this world she lives on in my memory
and as long as I shall live she’ll be with me.
In my thoughts and dreams I see her as she was so long ago,
and it’s over fifty years since we said our first hello.

Those Who Passed Away (Choka Poetry)

Remembering them
with everything that blesses
hoping to contain the thoughts
purified by tears
mellowed by time eternal
random pictures from the past
of childhood embrace and love
separations, longings for
those who passed away.

For my parents who passed away in 2009, and 2010 - with all my love.

Napoleon III

His silent spirit from the place
Slid forth unseen; amid the throng
Of those whose love outlived disgrace,
Whose fealty to the last was strong.
'Midst homage, 'neath Fate's adverse reign,
Paid to the star shorn of its rays,
How passed the Exile? Lingering fain,
As never once in prouder days?

The Mother and the Child were there,
Discrowned and disinherited!
No hand henceforth to right the heir;
New griefs to bow the golden head.
How passed Napoleon? Prizing more,
Old fame in camp and council won
Or fearless England's aegis, o'er
The future of her ally's son?

Gate of that World we know not yet,
What thou beheld'st who may proclaim!
Were spirit-ranks, in order set,
Haunting thy portals, as he came,
With voices murmuring, “Our life torch,
Unspent, was quenched at his behest”?
Did bygone princes fill the porch,
Bourbon, and Valois, and the rest?

How passed the soldier? Cold and stern,
'Mid weaponless reproachful ghosts,
As when he led them forth to learn
How fight the hardy German hosts?
How passed the Emperor where THEY gazed,
Once wearers of the ancient crown?
As one who knew its lustre blazed
The brighter ere he laid it down?

How passed he? brighter grows the dream!
Past yon accusing spirit-band,
Beyond the scornful Old Règime,
Another group of watchers stand!
Those hands are stretched to greet him now
That once Charlemagne's proud sceptre won;
While hastes Hortense with beaming brow,
No longer banished from her son!

Now It's Too Late

it started with
a day of heartbreak
filled with sorrow
and heartache

from a day to a few
fighting back her tears
as time passed by she knew
no more will be her fears

the more it happens
the stronger she grows
colder her heart
she wonders if he knows

hours passed
it turned into days
now it seems
she was just a phase

out of sight
and out of mind
not a thought of him
is now to find

practice makes perfect
and so it goes
neglected too long
her hearts now froze

Where Is She

Not a single day has passed without you in mind
Lots of excuses come across as thought to find
You were never away in the past for a single minute
You were uncontrollable at home and never remained mute

Whole day passed off amidst your little noise
You were always ready for something to poise
You may venture for something and make my blood pulses up
I had no option but to remain silent and shut up

Today she is not in this lovely home
I look at door steps for her welcome
I know she may come any time and knock
I puffed more from cigars and left thick smoke

You have nice art to make me smile
You will not allow gloom to descent even for while
You may keep me engaged in lovely conversation
Remind me all the time about commitment and healthy relation

Her absence has made me totally blank
From the sun rise I have taken nothing or drank
I must admit her presence as some source of strength
Without her I am unable to adjust or take comfortable breath

I can do nothing without her being on my side
She will lean on my solder and confide
Whisper lovely and sweet words in my ears
She had made me fully dependent on her for years

Today I realize her importance when she is not here
I used to neglect everything when she was with me or near
She won’t bother me for even small things
Life at home without her is dreaded for something

Lovely home is zero without her sweet smile
I am on bed and thinking for it meanwhile
How come females have strong will power to control?
When nothing can be made available without shout call?

Summer-Time

At summer-time in our way of life,
It hung in my head the factors so prized.
Many days into the season of summer,
I left a night to the pondering, and thinking. It was
Like a travel of the universe inside your planet.
A footpath arranged before me, was trodden
And I already was contemplating the nature around.
The summer contained the sun, and as many years
Passed, my life grew happier like a referee ending the match.
The summer turned into autumn,
As I saw leaves flutter and the wind become a spell so strong
And so influential.

My Mom

My Mom was like a perfect rose at springtime,
Pure and beautiful, and the petals perfectly formed,
And it's fragrance sweet and pleasing to the senses.
For the rose, as my mom, came into this world as a thing of beauty.

As time passed, the winds came into my mother's life,
For as life brings the rose, it also brings the winds.
The wind blows the petals off the rose and it is no longer new
And struggles through the wind to regain its strength and beauty.

Because the rose by God's design is a thing of splendor,
The petals grow back as the winds die down,
As did my mother, for her spirit was strong,
And she lived her life with a love that had no boundaries.

My Mom fought many winds with grace and strength,
Always with a smile and never to bring sadness to anyone,
For she could not bear to see anyone cry,
She was too full of love and life to let the wind touch her spirit.

Mom was my perfect rose; beautiful, warm, loving, and sweet.
She is safe from the winds now and lives in Heaven.
She will live on in my heart always,
And ease the strong wind that weakens me.

Someday the wind will be only a gentle breeze upon my face,
And I will know that she lives on in me forever.
I will know that my Mom is still with me,
Still beautiful and strong and loving.

She is safe now and so much stronger than the winds
The she so courageously endured.
And in that she taught me to believe, have faith, and to know
That I have the strength to endure the winds of my own sorrow.

I love you Mom, you are forever in my heart - you are forever.

Bertolt Brecht

To Those Born After

I

To the cities I came in a time of disorder
That was ruled by hunger.
I sheltered with the people in a time of uproar
And then I joined in their rebellion.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.

I ate my dinners between the battles,
I lay down to sleep among the murderers,
I didn't care for much for love
And for nature's beauties I had little patience.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.

The city streets all led to foul swamps in my time,
My speech betrayed me to the butchers.
I could do only little
But without me those that ruled could not sleep so easily:
That's what I hoped.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.

Our forces were slight and small,
Our goal lay in the far distance
Clearly in our sights,
If for me myself beyond my reaching.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.

II

You who will come to the surface
From the flood that's overwhelmed us and drowned us all
Must think, when you speak of our weakness in times of darkness
That you've not had to face:

Days when we were used to changing countries
More often than shoes,
Through the war of the classes despairing
That there was only injustice and no outrage.

Even so we realised
Hatred of oppression still distorts the features,
Anger at injustice still makes voices raised and ugly.
Oh we, who wished to lay for the foundations for peace and friendliness,
Could never be friendly ourselves.

And in the future when no longer
Do human beings still treat themselves as animals,
Look back on us with indulgence.
